"Cute lol & pop shop owned by locals. Love how even though it's mostly high school students who work here, they are professional, clean, enthusiastic and have a passion. I've tried their grilled cheese sandwiches and it's one of the best I've had. Their milkshakes are phenomenal as well. Honestly you can not go wrong with anything here."
"The service is 3.5 to 4 stars. The ambiance is about the same. But came here for lunch around 1pm after they'd been open for about 7-8 weeks. Apparently the margaritas are free as they didn't have liquor license. It's the proverbial, "Well the margaritas are good" place. Me and my golfing buddy got typical Mexican food. I got tamales as how do you screw up tamales? They did. Dry and tamales wee not even close to fresh. Covered with a cheap velveta like chip queso. Literally the worst ever."
"This place is not super fancy inside but it was clean clean and the food was very good. I'm not usually in this area but it was a good stop. Our server was super nice and took great care of us. I got scrambled egg covered biscuit with sausage gravy. Another person in our group had a waffle that she said was delicious and one had a chicken fried steak that looked VERY good. Every bite was gone!Very good and the prices were great."
"Yum! What a solid spot. Excellent menu -- simple and not overwhelming, with great options. Bowl or sandwich. Make your own or choose from their favorite selections.I tried the Marrakech bowl -- it was delicious. Each ingredient had so much flavor! This particular item was pretty spicy -- I didn't notice the medium spice marker when ordering. Still, it was really yummy even if my mouth was on fire! Just a heads up -- a few of their bowls are spicy. You might be able to ask for the sauces on the side for those. Either way, they have non-spicy options too.Highly recommended for a delicious and healthy meal!"
"Oh, I had a lovely time here! My robot escorted me to my seat, and the waitress in my area was just lovely. This place is huge and well-decorated; it really caught my eye. The food options were plentiful so it's impossible to try everything but I did try to. You're best bet is to eat everything in smaller portions or just keep coming back like I'm doing."
"Love, love, love this food stand at the Post. There's always a long line, but it's worth the wait. The food comes out fairly quickly and hot.I went with a friend visiting from Portland who wanted to order all the sides. We had ordered a few different things from the other food places in the food court area. Out of the sides, the collard greens were my fave. It wasn't vinegary. The broth it was marinated in was sooo good with the braised meat. It is on the soupier side. The greens weren't bitter. This is the best collard greens I've had. I could've eaten a bowl of this as a soup. The only thing missing is maybe adding some heat as an option. The Nashville hot chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I like how they use a thigh for dark meat. It's so juicy and flavorful. It's also topped with the kale kimchi slaw to add some acidity. The buttered Texas toast is a nice touch but can be difficult to eat since everything falls out. The fries are crispy and seasoned well.Aside from ChopnBlok (my other Post fave), Lea Jane's is definitely a staple when you come here!"
"We visited this location during their grand opening when everything was 50% off so we tried the cluck it up fries, dirty mac fries, chicken tenders, and bird wrap. I'm completely obsessed with the dirty mac fries - not only is it an absolute steal, but it's a crazy large portion and every single component is delicious. I end up eating this over 3-4 days and to put in perspective how great this place is, I've had this menu item 3 times now and they only just opened a few weeks ago. I docked a star because their bird wrap is pretty terrible. The lettuce is soggy, and I'm not sure why they use ranch instead of their comeback sauce. Truly seemed like a miss to have this as a "healthy" option because it doesn't blend in with the rest of their menu."
"Being gluten intolerant some of my options are limited but not here! Highly recommend, delicious organic soups , juices and cookies with a home made taste all the way. A definite go to for my family."
"I don't come here often but decided to stop by after working out at the gym. I ordered the beyond meat chicken burrito. To my surprise it was delicious! I couldn't tell that it wasn't real chicken at all! So good!I came back later that week and ordered two piece chicken. And it was not fresh at all! I was so upset because I had a great experience the first time. They gave me a dry breast and a half of a wing. How you give someone half of a wing and not notice? Lol So my experiences were completely different. One was great and the other sucked :-( :-( :-("
"I ordered for the first time tonight and this is the best pizza in the area!!! I live about 8 miles past Trinity and heated it up for about 5 minutes and it was delicious!! I will order again!!"
"My visits to Torchy's are always consistently good and this location was no exception. Lots of parking in the lot. Service was quick and friendly. The queso and tacos were great as always."
"This bar is ghetto as hell especially for a midtown bar. No one was wearing a mask, it's was pact, and it takes 30 minutes just to get one drink. They're severely understaffed and the vibes were completely off. Do not go here if you're concerned about covid precautions!!! Terrible."

"We love coming here for because of the quality and huge assortment of toppings. I usually get the 2 topping poke bowl with spicy salmon and the shrimp tempura. I really like their light batter on the shrimp tempura. To be honest, I have yet to finish my bowl and often wonder how anyone could even finish the 3 topping bowl!"
"I went to Brooklyn Pizzeria today for the first time for lunch and was enthusiastically greeted by one of the family members who make up this family owned business. I was advised that all of the ingredients are shipped in from New York and if you've ever had a slice from New York, you would undoubtedly know that was true. I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza , 6 hot wings (lunch special) and four cheese stuffed fried ravioli. Everything was amazing! The food was hot and fresh. Brooklyn Pizzeria is the most authentic NYE style pizza on the Northside of Houston and you all must try it. No shade to Papa John's or Mod Pizza but of you want a really good pizza that will make your taste buds breakdance with joy....a pizza that's a real meal, with fresh ingredients; this place is it! Also they offer a vast selection of items under the Italian food umbrella to choose from. Trust me you will not be disappointed."
"We had a blast. Loads of fun! We were at Base for a specific one time event. Three DJs, one silent dance floor, headphones for dancing to our hearts desire. All five of us left delighted at the new experience and would do it again. The layout of the underground club was great, the lighting was lit, but we asked for Tito's vodka yet we were served local vodka. Tell me you don't have it. I actually like the exit sign with the secret door. Both ways in and out its tricky but the staff helps. We got to take the elevator down but upon our exit we were directed to the stairs. I look like I could use the excercise, but I had 3 bottles of wine, vodka on the rocks, and beer. Accident waiting to happen."
"No KFC is five stars, and this location is barely 3. But the employees were friendly, and I got my food quickly. If you want a notch up, go to Chik Fil-A, otherwise give this place a break. It is what it is."
"Ok.... This place is a gold mine. The food here is outstanding. Lots of food and really good. The prices are reasonable. I use to go to C&N Fish Market every Friday for at least 5 years. Now, this is my 6th week in a row. What does that tell you? The employees are really nice and very knowledgeable. This is my new spot. Shout to Mr. Ronnie"
"came across this place when I was looking for something different to have late at night . They're having 20% everything right now. I tried their house special hot dog and com ga xoi mo ( deep fried chicken fried rice) . They offer really good amount of food for the prices. The chicken is moist and tender insides while the outer layer is still kinda crispy. I really like their garlic fried rice that goes w the chicken. It's not too dry and is just to my liking (: The hotdog was also very tasty. I heard they baked the rolls in house which is very nice! Overall I'd highly recommend this place and will definitely come back to try their other dishes for my late night cravings"

Build your own milkshake? Sign me up! I have never been to a customizable milkshake place before and this was a real treat. Ordering was super easy, we were given a sheet of paper and checked off everything we wanted. We took the sheet to the front, paid for our order, and then waited for our shakes. There's a lot going on inside, which makes it very cool but also hard to find important details. I didn't really know how the pricing worked till I had to pay. It would be helpful to mention the prices on the order sheets to make things easier. Regardless, this was a super fun and delicious experience! I will be back next time I'm in the area :)

Free margaritas gets you to four stars! This is a surprisingly legit Mexican/Tex-Mex restaurant in an otherwise fairly remote area near Lake Conroe. Bentwater residents will save on the miles next time they're in the mood for fajitas, enchiladas, or even tacos al pastor or mole sauce. Caveat: the free margaritas are likely a limited offering as they wait for their liquor license.

I haven't been to very many Chinese buffets in a while, but I must say that the quality and food options at E Star is better than most I've been to in the past. I haven't been to the Willowbrook side of town in a while. Grew up going to and working at the mall nearby. E Star was once a Toys R Us.What brought us here was a post funeral celebration of life that reunited us from all over. We tend to eat out and gather after. The large room at the front was reserved, as well as some tables in the main dining just outside the room. The room had booth seating along the walls and tables with regular chairs. There were servers and managers checking in periodically delivering beverages. The downside was that they ran out of Coke, so they automatically gave me Diet Coke. When I told them and asked, they did offer to give me something else. They also ran out of tea cups/pots and served hot water in a regular plastic glass meant for cold beverages. No. Just no. They could've used the soup bowls in the buffet area. I don't understand how a buffet place runs out of Coke and hot cups before noon on a Tuesday. There's more dining space than food space, so if you have a large party, expect a long line. The food is set up in two long sections for the main food, cold food area, sushi, and desserts. They were constantly replenishing the food. I liked the green beans and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, General Tso's chicken, sautéed mushrooms, jalapeño chicken, fried dough, and sesame balls. The sesame balls filled with red bean ran out and took a while to replenish. The food tasted good. My eyes were bigger than my stomach, but I left full and content. I'd come back if someone else throws an event here. Outside of the event, there are robotic waiters with cat faces. Very interesting.

Got the spicy chicken waffle cone, it was amazing! The macaroni and cheese was very cheesy and paired well with the chicken bites that were tender and spicy. The waffle cone was crispy and there was a slight sweetness in it that balanced out the savory flavors of the chicken and mac and cheese. Price was very reasonable for a food hall too!

"Here's a little gem a short ways from 146.Mario's is a large, bright, clean restaurant with lots of parking. It's not a typical pizza joint, more like a restaurant that has several Italian options. We came during lunch time, when they have a AYCE buffet for $13. All-You-Can-Eat typically loses money on me, and my teenage daughter has started to really develop an appetite, poor guys. My damage was 6 slices, so was the girl's, and the Hunny could barely finish #3 so she gave me her fourth, that makes 7 for me. And that includes the bowl of rabbit food. The pizza is pretty good. Mario's special has a lot on it: pepperoni, sausage, olives, and jalapenos, great flavor. The slices are quite small, and the crust is pretty wimpy on the bottom. But the taste is good. They also sell ham & pineapple, apologies to those who believe that pineapple does not belong on pizza.Overall, a pleasant outing, whether for a night out or to fill yourself on the way to the Kemah Boardwalk. The girl says that all they need now is to put Mario into red overalls and add Luigi next to him - but Princess Peach is in another castle!"
"The place was clean, food and service were great on a recent visit. We had roast beef, chicken strips, and buffalo chicken sandwiches. The choice of dipping sauces is great too."
"Great service today from Lin! Some confusion on my guest's order which was taken care of perfectly. Checked on us regularly. Great catfish as always."
"Super cute spot, it was actually called Farmhouse Coffee and Cream. I loved the decor, very interesting, warm, and inviting. I had the fruity chicken salad on toasted wheat bread. It came with chips, pickles, lettuce, and tomato. I also got a mocha and it was delicious."
"One thing I love is family own business with genuine friendly staff. It's just a while different feel. I came inside searching for ice cream, and I learned they had so much more. I see why they call it sweet escape. I ended up ordering the banana pudding flavor, something I've never tried. It was delicious! They had so many other unique flavors you wouldn't find in a normal ice cream shop. Next time I come, I want to try their teas!"
"Food was delicious! I got a torta with birria de res and it was a total hit and hugeeee I barely got through half of it. Agua frescas were great as well and you could tell they were freshly homemade exactly how I like them vs soda. Would recommend 100%! Also the waiter was so nice! Bilingual staff"
"Had enchiladas Dona Chala. Excellent ! ($10.99) Good service, cleanness facility & reasonable pricing. Highly recommend."
"Central Uptown Park with ample patio dining option and easy valet or self park options. We came on a Friday right before HH ends and the sampler was a great choice everything was tasty especially the shrimp.Drinks were hit or miss - lychee martini was too sweet for him and I tried something sour which was fine. The mule -not HH -which is the top mixed drink on the menu was underwhelming. The crispy flounder was a winner so flaky and ask for the sauce on the side which is so helpful. The pieces are already cut for you so you have crunchy filets to share. The basil shrimp entree was fresh and oddly did not have anything besides shrimp - so that was unexpected.Waiter was helpful.Overall a nice experience if you are craving Thai food in the Galleria area."
"Every time I come to this place there is always this rude girl that works the cash register and sometimes I really want to get ugly and go off on her. Her customer service is the worst and she should be working somewhere she doesn't have to interact with customers.. Edit: just today we came and got super hard chicken wings and we asked them to be re-cooked. Unfortunately it's the only KFC close by."
"So I heard the commercials on the radio about JJs being fast. I didn't pay much attention to that until my first visit.I ordered the #10 Hunters Club. As soon as I put my wallet back in my pocket, the sandwich was handed to me. It was that fast. The sandwich was good, and I plan to return. Prices were reasonable...8 inch sub, big bag of chips (2 servings), and a drink for about $9. I want to try a half-sized JJ Gargantuan on my next visit.***NOTE*** JJs was hacked and this location was part of the security breach. "Stopped by to try some Suya for the first time. I love me some good african food . the suya was really good and tasty. I got the chicken combo plate with the rice . I also got the beef suya to try that one as well. I ate my meal with a refreshing vita malt . I highly recommend that drink it is delicious. Not many people like that drink since it has an acquired taste. Im carribean so I love malt i used to hate it as a kid now i love it. it is non alcoholic and to describe the taste it has a flavor profile of syrup with hints of grain like a sweet beer. I highly recommend to drink it super super cold. otherwise it taste weird when its not cold. The only thing that was kind of so so was the rice. its not as good as other jollof rice places. it had too much of that smoky taste and the rice was lot its like a pound of rice. i think the combo is good but id prefer the protein over rice. Good overall spot and super super clean this is rare in african restaurants."
