"As a newbie in the area, I've been eyeing news places to try and check out. On my commute to work, I noticed this Donut shop every morning and didn't see any cars for a consistent number of days. I feel for small business owners, especially during the pandemic, so I decided to stop on a whim and patronize the business. There are two entryways into the business. One bypasses a little eating area; the other goes directly to the counter. There was only one person present behind the counter when I arrived, but it seems that soon as I stopped, others stopped in too! That made my heart happy to see others giving this business some foot traffic! Prices for items are comparable to the chain donut places, if not cheaper (I really don't go to donut shops regularly, so I can't say by how much), but I will say the breakfast sandwiches are ginormous! I could see slices of bacon falling out the sandwiches. However, this particular day I wanted donut holes and coffee. Even after arriving to work and heating up the donut holes, they tasted fresh. I liked that they were not cakes with icing and the icing wasn't too sweet beyond consumption. A great gem in the Pearlnd area for you to enjoy if you're in the area."

I came at 10 am so the kolaches weren't fresh but the employee offered to heat them up in the microwave. So you should come early if you want the food fresh!I've only tried the kolaches but they have a large selection of breakfast items and it's conveniently located in a nearby neighborhood."

"On a Thursday morning my boyfriend wanted donuts last minute, and so I swerved into the parking lot like a mad woman because it was the first donut shop I saw. I didn't read reviews and I didn't look at any pictures beforehand. But let me tell you.. this place is amazing.I came in asking for a dozen donuts, enough for him and his friends. I chose the prettiest ones in that case and expected to pay $9-15 based on Shipley's and other donut shops. But even with all the sprinkle donuts and fancier donuts, it only cost me $7 for the dozen. The very nice lady also helped me rearrange the donuts so I can take pictures after!The donuts were pretty, tasty, fresh, and well worth the time and money. I'm glad the unplanned trip led me to this donut shop and I will definitely be back!They DONUT disappoint!"

"Forgot I was supposed to pick up breakfast this morning for my work team. This place happened to be close to my apartment and was on the way to work. Came in and was greeted nicely. It was pretty vacant and pretty dark in the baking area (it was like 9 am though...so I guess after the morning rush). I saw kolaches on open racks behind the counter which was really what I wanted for my team. Ordered some kolaches and the girl was so nice and told me the prices were on the wall behind me (didn't really need to know but it's nice she pointed it out). Ordered some random donuts and the girl struggled a bit with the register but eventually ran my card and gave me my receipt. Brought the food to my team who really liked everything. I ate the sausage and cheese kolaches which were plain but had good bread. I'll definitely come back if I need to get my team breakfast again."

I was walked in a the display case had fluffy doughy sasuage rolls with various type: There were small rolls plus spucy, jumbo, spicy boudin, smoked sausage . I have been there 3 times in a week and tried them all. The spicy boudin was soft and indeed subtle spicy that kicks in at the end. There were mix donut holes that you can get a dozen (plain, red velvet and cinnamon sugar). They also had your basic fare of glazed , iced, sprinkles and cake.The owner was sweet and patience. "I have an extensive list of coffee shops on my "must try" and Oso has definitely been on my list. I got up early this morning and decided to swing by for a coffee with a friend. The location is very small but extremely inviting. The inside can sit maybe 10-15 people and there is some outdoor seating available. I could see this place getting packed pretty quickly. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast. While we already had breakfast prior to arriving we were pleasantly surprised they offered a breakfast menu. We both had the horchata latte and a concha. We really enjoyed the horchata latte was really good, super excited to try more drinks! This might be my new regular!"

"DID SOMEONE SAY PEPPERONI PIZZA KOLACHE???Great little Kolache spot! Stopped here to buy my grandson some breakfast before dropping him off to school. I checked in on Yelp and received a free donut and boy was my grandson happy about that, lol! He ordered a plain beef Kolache with no cheese as if he knew what he was doing. I asked him "how do you know what you want right away? You haven't looked at all the other choices." He said, "Pawpaw brings me here for breakfast sometimes before taking me to school." I was like, "ohhh I see!" Originally, I was only here for my grandson until I scanned the array of Kolache sandwiches behind the counter and I was like, "Whoah! I think I want a Kolache too!" I'm not a breakfast person during the week so this was an extremely tempting situation for me, and one that I could not resist! I succumbed to the rich buttery aroma that was hovering in the atmosphere! I was so lost as I attempted to choose just one Kolache. This task proved to be a difficult one. In the end, I settled for a plain beef Kolache with no cheese because my grandson says that it's great! He was correct! I enjoyed it a little too much. Instead of eating it, I scarfed it down as if I was starving, lol. However, I was able to taste the rich robust and sweet buttery flavor of the croissant which tasted really great with the flavor of the beef sausage. What a great mixture of infused flavors! Next time, and yes there's definitely going to be a next-time, I'm going to try a different Kolache. Maybe, I'll try the brisket Kolache, or maybe the boudin Kolache, or maybe the Philly Cheesesteak Kolache, or maybe the cheeseburger Kolache, or maybe the Chicken Feta Cheese Kolache, or maybe the PEPPERONI PIZZA KOLACHE! Didn't I tell ya? It's no easy task when it should be, lol. There's an extensive selection which makes it difficult but it's worth it! Overall, this establishment is really nice! They are open as early as 6:00 am during the week and it seems like it can get pretty busy as there was a slight line when my son and I arrived around 6:30 am. Customer service is good. It's not anything special to brag about but it's good. Highly recommended!"

She was very friendly and explained that some of the donuts in the display case are fillable, you choose between chocolate, cherry or bavarian cream and they'll fill them in the back.Two types of sausage in their kolaches, you can choose between traditional mini link and the better Chappell Hill sausage. Boudain kolaches were good and filling as always.
