I don't like sprouts. The cashier said that the workers don't get the tips unless it's in cash. I'll bring cash next time I'm here if I remember."

Patty C. "Great place in Chinatown that serves up many Thai dishes. Tony Thai has been a Chinatown staple for some time now. I've been here a few times with great results. The interior is nice and bright during the day. The lunch specials are gone, but prices and portions are really good, and one can easily split a dish. I really enjoyed the pad thai and pad prick king fish on my last visit. The pad thai had great flavor and pieces of fried tofu, the fish had a nice crisp texture. We asked for both dishes to be medium, but no spice was detected, so we had to alter them ourselves. They do offer take away goodies as well as ingredients to make your own dishes, a bit out of place, but whatever. This is definitely not a place to be missed."

J G. "A friend recommended that I try this place & I'm so glad I did. Decided to have a family dinner here for almost 12 people. Plenty of parking and we were able get a table together fairly easy. The dishes are very easy to have as shareables/family style. Our waiter was polite and helped to recommend several dishes that I wouldn't have thought to order b/c I am not familiar w/this cuisine, but I am so glad he did! WOW. Several people in my party said that this is the best meal they have had, hands down. It was an amazing experience topped with BYOB--thank you. We brought our own wine and sake to enjoy. Here are some highlights that were ordered: Beek Jerky, Nam Khao Tod (crispy rice, oh so good), Thai Sausage (sweet), Papaya Salad, Nam Tok, Crab Fried Rice (good), Thai Basil Fried Rice, Heavenly Chicken, Pad Ped Pladuk (excellent and surprisingly everyone's favorite dish!), Pad Se Ew w/tofu (good), Pad Ke Mao w/beef, and Chicken Lettuce Wrap. Everything was very good and we were happy to support local small business. This is family run and highly, highly recommended. You don't need to visit restaurants inside the loop to find something unique. This is the spot. It is located in a mostly empty shopping lot, but that should not deter you. You would be missing out if you don't try it once."

Rex C. "First and foremost I have to say this is one of the best Thai restaurants I've been to in a very long time. The manager Nari is really nice and they're doing a great job here. I almost believe the reviews here with a low ratings are fake or maybe they're from competitors because the reviews do not represent the experience we had. We had a great experience, with great customer service, and absolutely exceptional great food. I will definitely be back here soon. This is a Hidden gem in the southside of Texas.Food: We started off with fried calamari and it was really good. Very flavorful and made fresh. I had a cashew nut chicken which was exceptionally great. Full of flavor, very tasty, and fresh! The fried rice was really good as well. I'm not even big on vegetables but all the vegetables that were mixed in with the Thai cashew chicken were exceptional. My girlfriend got the pad Thai beef which was just as good as well. The beef was season to perfection, the noodles were full of flavor, I'm telling you right now this is a very great restaurant and if you're in the area I suggest you stop in. Last we got a nice dessert from Nari which was absolutely amazing. We got the fried bananas, with ice cream, sticky rice and mango. It was all exceptional and made the order. We will definitely be back here soon.Nari is a great manager you can tell she really cares about her clients and the food that her and the cooks are presenting every single day. I'm chilling right now the bad reviews are not a representation of this restaurant. Do yourself a favor and give them a try."

Yay!Upon arrival, it was not busy at all!! There was only one other couple there with us. We were greeted by the sweetest server who has just started the job! She was so kind and I immediately knew that this was going to be my new favorite place!! I enjoyed my Pad Kee Mao and my husband decided to have chicken and broccoli. Both dishes were great! Brett N. "Why 5 stars? Because the green curry and coconut sticky rice were exactly what I hoped for. --- --- ---My wife and I were in a deep rut as we were both struggling to decide where we wanted to eat. We talked about approximately 18 different places, but we ultimately landed on wanting to just pick something up nearby, and she was craving Thai food. Our favorite Thai spot is closed on Sunday's, so we opted to try out Patra's. I'm really glad we did, because they had some of the best green curry I've found in the area. I love green curry, but wasn't necessarily craving it during the midst of day 4,000 in a row with temperatures over 100 degrees. However, I'm so glad we went this route because I loved it. Did I get too excited to eat and forget to take a picture of it? Yes. Did I start eating eat too quickly before it cooled down, resulting in a burned tongue? Yes. But it was worth it. Now I'll just have to go back again for a proper photo!Mango sticky rice was not on the menu, but we saw photos of it, so we asked if it was available, and after a brief hold, it was confirmed. They had it, and it was glorious. Recently when I've had mango sticky rice, I've been disappointed, but this rendition was great and it was a very large portion, too. Another item available not on the menu: Thai Tea. I was a fan of Patra's version, but my wife who normally loves it, was not. Take that for what it's worth. On the same note of my wife and I disagreeing, she loved her Pad Thai, while I thought it was just okay. Maybe I suffered from going from green curry to her dish and my taste buds were compromised, but I thought it was a bit overwhelming in terms of sweetness. It almost tasted like it had honey all over it. Still, this was not my dish, and I loved everything else, so 5-stars it is!"

Our server was super sweet and sat us right away, drinks came out right after. Service was overall quick! The ambiance was peaceful and very private as we were the only ones for the first half of our meal. We got the egg rolls, FIRE! 9.5/10! They came piping hot with a yummy sweet chili dipping sauce. I got a Thai tea and my husband got a Perrier. I really liked the Thai tea, definitely a 9.5/10! I got the Tom Yum shrimp, I loved it! 9.5/10, one of my favorite ones out of the 20+ restaurants I've tried over the years! My husband got the pineapple fried rice, he gave it a 8/10, he said it was good! I also got the mango sticky rice to go and it was divine! 10/10, I'll be back just for that!"

Brett N. "Why 5 stars? Because I've finally found the ideal green curry. --- --- ---When I lived in Tampa, I used to visit a place that had the best green curry I've ever had. It unfortunately closed many years ago and I've never been able to find another place where the green curry lived up to good ol'e Thai Thani (RIP). I'm so happy to say that I think Thai Wok In is the first time I have finally put an end to the search.I am far from an expert on being able to describe why the other curries were not as good as this curry. I simply slurp and react. And I reacted quite happily to this one. The only minor knock I have is that when we ordered online, we selected "no spice". I debated choosing "mild" because I don't like spicy food but I didn't want to take away from the flavor either. Well, I can definitely say that no spice still has a decent kick to it and that's what I'll be ordering again in the future. I'm a wuss when it comes to heat and my wife takes it to the extreme, so we're pretty spice adverse. Other than that, we really enjoyed the fried rice that my wife ordered as a side. Her main entree, Pad Thai, was a bit on the bland side, but still enjoyable. We finished with sticky rice and mango and it was a nice way to end the meal.We will definitely be back again since this isn't too far from us and we really enjoyed our first visit, despite the food being to-go."

Brittany B. "A hop skip and a jump from the Woodlands Mall, it's easy to relax into this peacefully decorated spot. It's more than the relaxing soundtrack, and quiet patrons, it's moreso the spaciousness, inviting service, stress free parking (bonus of a suburban restaurant), and the prospect of authentic cuisine in the area that's not categorized as "American" or "Modern American" (ie every popular Woodlands restaurant). On our visit, I was unfortunately distracted from my zen bubble as soon as our food arrived. Although the food was presented beautifully, myself and my guest immediately noticed the tables (ours included) sat too far away from the booth seats for comfort. I get it- usually this is a minor thing, but the distance was pretty drastic, so much so that it made eating a chore. I'm not sure if this is every diners experience (being that I'm 4'11" with the arm span of someone my stature), but is imagine it effects a majority of diners, and while I love a good workout, it's not exactly my idea of a relaxing meal.Other than that, the meal was fine, the curry was comforting, but I'm still in search of a Thai Food joint that will knock my socks off. All is forgiven with amazing food! As always, I plan to give them another try in the future. I'll select a different dish and maybe a table instead of a booth. :)"

We were both so hungry that we ate them before I had a thought to take a picture. The service is solid, with the food coming out pretty quickly. In fact the little side salad and egg roll hit the table before we even ordered! The one special hit the spot. Plenty of food, all hot and fresh. I asked for medium heat, which was a bit more than I needed but it was still good. I'm a little bit of a wuss when it comes to Thai spices. I also wasn't a big fan of the hot tea. I'm generally not a hot tea person especially without sweetener, but since my friend ordered it and it came in a little pot with two cups I had to give it a try. My major complaint is the parking. All the spots seemed a little narrow and even rolling up at 11:30 there were almost no spots available.
