"This was the pregame to a Yelp event, and it is clean, quiet and has a pretty bang and happy hour. The bartender was friendly and cool, and my rice draft was a delicious $6 dollars with happy hour discount. I will return and bring money for more yacht rock radio."
"Bad attitude manager very disrespectful steals money from employees please I recommend not to go there again especially if ur a girl working there was my error please everyone get away from that horrible place also the prices are way up go to Spec's much better there literally the prices are 3 times high"
"When Barbi wants some intimate attention, I liquor. I pretty much earned my degree in such practices, I guess you could say I may as well have gone to University to learn how to Liquor. So we needed a bottle of wine and they were very helpful here, very helpful indeed. It was cheap and it was delicious and it went down well, just like Barbi always says I do, as you know from the first paragraph. They seem to be a new place and sometimes their friends are helping out working here, the kind of friends that don't really work here, but the experience is still good, service is still friendly, and the shop is still nice. All in all, they're a great addition to the neighbourhood for sure."
"Beautiful space for the best selection of bourbons, whiskeys, and scotches in town! New hours are Wednesday - Saturday from 4:30pm - close."
"I come here on occasion to buy lottery tickets for our office pool in the high hopes of getting lucky. Small but adequate little shop. Very nice staff."
"I walked in expecting less and walked out lucky I stopped in. The staff were friendly and most of all they know tequila. None of the Don Julio or Parton white people tequila. I tested them and I got schooled on other tequila I yet to know about. I was there for 30 minutes talking to of the staff and I never had a conversation with a liquor sells clerk anywhere like the one I had here. He taught me how to know the difference of tequila bottled in America and Mexico. And it's those little details that matters in customer service."
"First time visiting this establishment and got to say it was an exceptional service. I wasn't expecting a wide range of variety. They even had the new grey goos and cognac that I was looking for. Definitely check it out if you are in the area."
"I've been to this store a couple of times out of convenience. It's between I45 and my house. So, stopping in for something to fill in the bar that was running low, this store worked out for me.It's in the Kroger shopping plaza on the north side of FM 1960. It is small. They will not have the selection of Spec's. So don't expect to find something obscure. But, it will suffice for basic needs."
"Went in for the first time. Looking for my favorite spirit. I hey had it but not I the size I like. Talked with the owner he said he would order it for me I tried another tx vodka. And it was awesome. I called back and said don't bother with my old favorite. Great first impression. Give them a try"
"Price point way to high on common liquor. Wine it doesn't matter and someone that buys the occasional Hennessey they don't care. The money at a smaller price point to the majority of customers is your common well liquors and they charge very high here. They may be making money but losing profit where the volume is. Drive an extra 6 minutes to specs...not worth the high margin."
"We stopped in M&R for a quick purchase. I then received a call from my husband to pick up a high ball glass if they had any. Well, they did have one that was perfect. When the gentleman behind the counter saw we only had one glass and there were two of us there, he went on a hunt for an additional glass. Since he couldn't find a price on the original one selected, he kindly gave us both glasses free. He was such a nice guy, and the store had good selections. Personal attention sure makes you want to shop here often!"

First time coming by this place last week on the night before Thanksgiving and I really liked it. The place itself is pretty small, but still lots of space to sit. A few tables, plus the bar seating area. Bartenders were great, friendly, and fast. We were trying their fancier menu, so I got a painkiller, my friend got a Paloma. Both were great, very strong. The atmosphere was chill, they had cute xmas decor up. Overall nice place to go and have a drink . Support spring branch local bars !

Man don't even waste your time at this place. Called this place to ask some questions about what they have in stock and someone just told me no and hung up on me. Plenty of liquor stores nearby no need to have an attitude. Good luck when that new liquor store opens up down the street next to the gas station..

This is a decent little mom and pop liquor store in the Spring Branch area. Don't let the "bargain" name fool you-- they're actually a bit more pricey than Spec's or Goody Goody, but when you don't want to drive a few miles when you're already in a specific neighborhood, they're the perfect place to stock up.The layout of the store is simple, pretty much what you'd expect. Beer coolers in the back had a good selection, and they even had pre-mixed frozen beverages in some of the coolers. It looked like Chivas Regal had set up a tasting booth or something that was shutting down right as we came in. The only real bargain I noticed was a $1 beer bin, which had a mix of Smirnoff Ice, Coors Light, Guinness Black Lager, and Modelo Especial. I'm guessing that some six packs or cases were broken and they just threw the singles in there to get rid of them. I can't really complain, though. Aside from the Coors Light, those were a pretty good bargain price.

"The owner is very friendly and wears masks. Here to get some wine.would recommend this place for local wine."
"Really good liquor store, always has perfectly placed cups of ice in the freezer, and the only store within distance that carries that "thot" wine. If u don't know, u don't need to know. We don't need it sold out."
"Such an amazing place. They listen to requests and such a great neighborhood liquor store."
"I love this place. Drive through super easy friendly employees. A treasure of alcohol for the seeking, alcohol needy college students. I LOVE YOU BEVERAGE BARN. #texaspride"
"This strip center has seen better days, and I've always assumed the worst about this place. Glad I gave it a chance. It's a great neighborhood liquor store with perfect selection. Super clean, super friendly and we ended up walking out with a bunch of cool stuff we hadn't even realized we wanted. Definitely would revisit!"
"Prices are fair, good variety for a neighborhood store. Clean place with friendly service"
"This liquor store has an extensive selection of wine but their small bottles of liquor are overpriced for the quantity it has."
"They got all you need to party!! They even have a delivery service wow. So sit back, relax and drink!!"
"After dinner with a few business associates we were looking to have a few cocktails but with no place close to our hotel and with no bar at the hotel we decided to pull into this little liquor store and pick up a few things and get plowed at the hotel so none of us would be driving (always drink responsible). We ended up getting a few pints of Tito's, Jack Daniels, Wild Turkey American Honey, a Mountain Dew, a Six Pack of Samuel Adams, and a few cans of RedBull. This little store was rocking out with the music cranked up and the friendly small framed owner swaying with the beat and singing the broken lyrics in tongues while checking us out. As he continue to punch on the register I noticed in the small chest type cooler in front of the counter there were a number of red solo cups filled ice lined up on the small shelf next to several open bottles of cheap booze. I asked him if these ready to pour cups were for sell and he simply stated 38 cents, of course this was something we hadn't considered so we grabbed a few and we were set. While pulling out of the parking lot and waiting to turn at the light we noticed a few savory looking citizens working the corner with their hands out and sitting on the concrete median a few feet away were a few cups that looked vaguely familiar to the ones we just purchased. Just another reason to love this country and the ingeniousness of the West Loop Liquor Store owner to accommodate all his customers."
"Came here on a busy Friday evening and the customer service was superb! The manager was very friendly and personable with his customers which I loved. This place offers competitive prices. You want to spend your money where you are appreciated, so come here if you are nearby!"
"Love this little bar tucked away in Krogers. And the guy behind the counter, Dave, is just one of the thing that makes this place so great. They have great beers and wine too!"
"Lack craft brews and imports. Not a great volume of beer either. Great if you want hard liquor though."
"This place is amazing. Huge selection of bottles and fine alcohol. Owner is extremely nice and knowable about wine and wine accessories. The vibe is also very positive. Can't recommend this place enough."
"I always enjoy coming to this liquor store. The owners never falls short of asking how I am doing and taking the time to make sure I get everything I need. I would recommend this store to anyone that wants to a great experience shopping for alcohol."
"I have bought liquor from Baker's for the over 20 years. The business changed hands about 2 or 3 years ago and the service and selection is just as good as the first time I went there. They have everything I need and much more. Great service and great friendly people. Shop local and small business."
"Picked up Jack Daniels Single Barrel for under MSRP. The owner and staff are super friendly. I would definitely come back again."
"From outside it looks a lil small but walk inside and you have isle and isles if liquor, well stocked might I add. Whatever it is they prolly have it, if not it seems they can get it for you. They can hold their own here! Family-owned and so helpful they can be, honest nice people. Prices are reasonably low and cheaper than the other big name liquor store surprisingly. If your in the area, definitely give them a shot for all your liquor needs. Quick in and out!"
"Everything Montrose Cheese and Wine does is quality--one of my favorite go-to wine bars (retail wine shops) in Houston. The wine, service, food, and weekly events are a must. I'm also a wine club member, and their Scooby membership is an excellent way to try good wines out of your comfort zone."
"This is the best liquor store! The people are great, they have good sales & they're well stocked."
"So, you're in a hurry, need to get to a party, and you're running late. What should you do? Why, stop in here!Great selection of smaller bottles as well as larger sizes. It's great if you're in a hurry to grab something without having to wait in line or walk around in a big liquor store. I'm usually the only one in there, so I can shop at my leisure. It's pretty small and is attached to a gas station which is shares a lot with. You'll find your essentials along with mixers.Oh, and you can pump your gas while you make your selection. :)I'm pretty sure it is the same owner or relative of the owner of the gas station."
"I have been going here for years. They know literally all their customers. Always friendly and the prices are great!"
"They had everything we were looking for, to supply a rehearsal dinner. The owner was so nice and friendly- very accommodating. I would definitely come here over Spec's if I'm ever in the area again."
"Highly recommend it is a very unique store not your typical in a good way. Very selective items which is good if you're looking for high quality drinks, price is extremely reasonable customer service, 10/10 and they have try before you buy which I love"
