"Much better experience at Happy Hour vs the dining room! Several items at a lower price and you cannot beat the pizza. We also order the grilled bread and ask for a side of balsamic vinegar. Bartender is always great. She is very pleasant, makes a good drink, and is quick to help."

"Whenever we come here to visit our daughter and son-in-law, we make it a point to come here. We alway have a great experience with both food and service. This last time we sat in the bar area and had great service. On this visit, I had the Shrimp Mushroom & Truffle Risotto, which was excellent! We had a couple of bottles of wine off of their Wednesday special menu, which was pretty extensive. And YES! Get the garlic bread!"
"Consistently great!! This is my go to Italian. I haven't found a better place yet. So we'll keep going."
"This is a hidden gem and I'm glad we found it! Recently opened in the Woodlands, this Italain restaurant has the most delicious food at an amazing price point! The food tastes like restaurants that charge twice as much! The garlic knots, lasagna, chicken Alfredo, and the Alex special were all amazing! The service is top notch too - we received amazing seevice and the manager, Burim, was helpful when we encountered and issue. The ambiance is relaxed and semi-formal - perfect for a family dinner or a date night. I can't wait to go back to this restaurant again!"
"We are delighted the East End continues to attract more restaurants and with a variety in cuisine. Saturday night, I had one of my top dining experiences of the year. It was one of those meals that - as we were dining - I was planning our return, because savoring each bite in the present was not enough. I wanted to know when I could expect this magnificent meal again. And truth be told, we'll probably be weekly patrons. Our party of four started with the green pea hummus (stracciatella, evoo, toasted hazelnuts, greens, and toast) along with the gorgonzola dolce montato (whipped, black mission figs, walnut brittle, speck, rosemary honey, and ciabatta toast). In the spirit of family-style dining, the sharing of plates continued with the gnocchi (with marinara, parmigiano, basil); cacio e pepe (loved the use of rigatoni instead of spaghetti); bucatini with shrimp; paccheri (castleveltrano pesto, pistachio, mozzarella) ...And for our sole meat dish, the agnello (pan seared bone-in loin chop with romanesco, black peppercorn) had the meat eaters at the table eying every last drop of the saucey plate. Vegetarians and pescatarians: There are so many options, and they're all so delectable, best wishes on deciding what to order! (Again, family-style is the way to go, but I can see why someone wouldn't dare share a bite of their dish). For desserts, we split the panna cotta (vanilla bean, cara cara orange, lemon, mint) and the cioccolato salato (fennel cookie crumble, maraschino cherries, mascarpone cream). Two apps, four pastas, one meat dish, two desserts, and two bottles of wine came out to ~$300 with tax and tip. That's unheard of these days, especially for this level and quality of food, service, wine selection, and cozy ambiance. (Nancy Hustle and Tiny Champions, we love you, but think we found our new date night spot.). Book your reservation now. And if it's a lovely night, do dine al fresco on their patio. And keep an eye out for their wine dinners (they have one coming up on Nov 29, 2023 with two spots open, last I checked). Kudos to co-owners Co-owners chef Fernando Rios (you might be familiar with his pasta skills from Weights + Measures) and Mike Sammons (13 Celsius and How To Survive on Land and Sea) for creating this gem of an Italian trattoria on the East End. Can't wait to explore more of your menu."
"We ate here last week, it was my second time & it looks like they've remodeled since the pandemic. The service was excellent, the young ladies were prompt & friendly. The food was great! Very tasty and Italian!"
"A Slice of NYC in Texas baby!! I feel like I'm back in Queen's on Roosevelt Rd at Lucia's Pizza This is good stuff Man!! Rock n Roll Music and Decor all over the joint! Nice touch. They even gots Beer and Vino too, for you sophisticated folk's. The Pizza is Delicious and instantly transported me back to NYC and I can hear the subways and bus in the background, I swears!!Great ice cream too for a topper offer Salad plus Pizza combo was Awesome and hit the spot I felts like I was in NYC!! Just for a moment.....lol Thick accent....."
"Pizza is great. Seriously. We've ordered several times this month. Close to the house. Ready on time."
"We spent a few hours in Montrose and looking at the "vintage" shops. Was hungry, but didn't want much so we came here. A lot of complaints about customer service and being rude, but has anyone ever encountered happy people at a pizza place?? I got 2 slices of pizza. I really liked the pizza. I don't like a lot of sauce on the pizza while my husband does. Mine had the perfect amount of sauce on it without overdoing it. Husband wished it was saucier, but I liked it for a quick bite."
"Dinner tonight was great. Julia is an amazing server. Would proudly ask to sit in her section again. We were craving pizza, and HLP is close. We started with spinach and artichoke dip, which was very fresh. Not too cheesy. Pizza is great. Hand tossed. Not over sauced. Great cook, especially on the cheese - love those brown bubbles!Would definitely come back for a pizza fix!"

My wife and I have visited North Italia a few times and have been pleasantly surprised each time with their delicious food and top notch service. During our last visit, Cassandra was our server and her recommendations were perfect. She was mindful of our dietary restrictions and shared how some of the dishes can be adjusted accordingly! We had the STROZZAPRETI with chicken and SPICY RIGATONI VODKA with beef meatball. Both were amazing - perfect taste and like their other dishes, tasted fresh. In the past, we've enjoyed most of the foods we've tried except the WHITE TRUFFLE GARLIC BREAD - it seems overrated. Tastes OK but nothin special, so I recommend skipping that appetizer! The ambiance is perfect gor a date night or to hang out with some friends.

The BREAD!!!!! Hard to believe that garlic bread could have such an impact, but it did. Delicious, garlicky, goodness! The waitstaff is wonderful, the food spectacular. Overall a great experience. Wish it was a little quieter.

Truly some of the most authentically delicious Italian food I've had since being in Italy! The owner was so warm and welcoming. He spent time chatting with us about his background and you could tell he put a lot of love into his space and food. Dining space is small but cozy but we had no wait time.

We had a really nice, cozy Wednesday night dinner here - certainly a hidden gem that deserves more hype and visibility! We were one of a few tables eating in the restaurant that night, although I understand it gets very busy on weekends. Sort of not-obvious to find, but look for the small blue neon sign n the back of the strip center of colorful buildings. Tons of parking, hooray! For food, they recommend you go family-style and order a few starters, couple of pastas, and a main protein to share. We opted for the sweet potato, crochettes, and fritter starters - my favorite was probably the crochettes, but all were really delicious. For pastas we did the fettucine and cacio e pepe - both were so good, but would say you gotta order the cacio e pepe; it was so rich and dreamy. For protein we ordered the gallina cornish hen, and it was also delicious - perfectly cooked to be tender and on a lovely bed of cauliflower mash. To end the night on a sweet note we shared the cioccolato salato - highly recommend! Pair all of that with the house red and you have a winner of a dinner, all for an affordable price IMO.

"Tomball location does not take reservations so we showed up early on Friday 11/11 at 5:50 pm with a party of 13. We were sat at 6:30.Our waitress was awesome handling our table. (I wish I could remember her name but I do remember she was from Croatia)The bread was freshly baked and we had plenty of it coming. We ordered 2 orders of the Sliced Italian sausage and fried mozzarella. Both were delicious. The fried mozzarella was lightly breaded and served with a warm fresh tomato sauce. It was a thicker cut but fried to perfection. The sliced Italian sausage was sautéed in a garlic, basil, white wine marinara sauce.. delicious with the bread for dipping.Everyone ordered different plates and commented on how good the food was. The only disappointment was the kid's pizza (but hey I'm ok with that)The Salmon Livornese was a seafood perfection! Sautéed with three jumbo shrimp, tomatoes, onions, black olives & capers in a light tomatoes sauce served with a side of vegetables. That sauce was everything!Restrooms are clean, staff was on point and food was appetizing."
"Extremely friendly wait staff, great pizzas and entrees. The rolls are free and delicious. This restaurant is a small town locally owned jewel."
"This place is super cute and the staff was very friendly. We had an order of mozzarella sticks and a pepperoni pizza. Everything tastes great. We will definitely be back."
"I ordered one of my go-to dishes here, Lobster Ravioli. It was rich and very delicious with a soft, creamy texture containing big, succulent pieces of mini lobster. Each one of those was a little crispy, nicely moist and not too fishy or too mild. The red sauce is really tasty in this entree and my favorite part of its flavor profile. It's terrific tomato base and creaminess go a long way balancing out the seafood vibes in the dish. The ravioli are really fresh and doughy with a great lobster filling in each. Nothing is skimped, underdone or overdone. Imo, the best lobster ravioli around. Some places just smother it with white cream and it doesn't have all the aromas this one has. Great, friendly service again."
"A favorite for us. Wednesday is half priced wine bottles! Wow! The pizza is good. We like crispy crust and they make it that way when we request it. There is plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. DOGS allowed on the patio!"
"I went here for the first time tonight with a bud I known since high school that told me about it n even paid for us both. We both loved our meals. I ordered the Lasagna and it was very delicious, fresh in all ways, juicy and proportioned well in pasta, sauce, cheese and meat. The cheese was rich. The meat was savory. The red sauce was slightly tart n sweet. The pasta was tender n soft. This lasagna was also huge as it was very satisfying n flavorful. Our server was super attentive, friendly, kind and efficient. He couldn't have been better n more awesome. This place is pretty far from where I live, but I want to also order their Bolognese on my next visit here."
"Again, and again: Roma Pizza does it right!Talk about nostalgia for New York, NYC.This is a hidden in League City, Texas.Come experience pizza how it's supposed to be made!"
"Came for my usual for lunch. House Caesar, a cup of chicken soup and calamari. House Caesar: it was good. I forgot to ask for Ez dressing but the regular way was delightful. Not heavily covered in dressing. Chicken soup: my ultimate favorite and has yet to let me down. If it's one thing they do right, it's the chicken soup. AmazingCalamari: crispness is still good. Love the seasoning. I asked the server if they can make it less salty and he said he could ask. Still a tiny bit too salty but way better than last visit. My throat isn't on fire from the salt burning this time. I feel the marinara has a pinch too much salt. They're both good when eaten separately but when you combine, then it's too much. Not sure if they fixed the flour or did it when I asked the server to make a little less salty. For sure better. Service was quick and easy. Not too busy in here. He checked on me throughout my experience. Refilled my water as needed. The interior was clean and nice. Not too loud not too quiet. Classy yet casual feel. Music volume was good. Tables were set and clean. Overall good experience."
"I had dinner here last week while in the neighborhood for a meeting. The interior is small and cozy with a small bar area along with the dining area. I asked for the spaghetti with mushrooms meal for $11.95. First to come out was a bread basket filled with two large rolls that were nice and puffy fresh. It was followed by a side salad with my ranch dressing and I enjoyed it. Very shortly after it's arrival my entree arrived. I don't like it when the meal isn't properly spaced and I have to look at my entree while trying to hurry and finish my salad. The spaghetti, marinara sauce and mushrooms was large enough in size and tasted good but the sauce was too watery and it created a pool on the plate that was unattractive. My table service during the meal was very good. While the overall meal was decent I can't give a score higher than a 3 due to the watery sauce and inadequate pacing of the meal delivery."
"Too busy chatting I forgot to take pics. Food was excellent!! We ordered chicken Espetada, sheesh kabob, and adnan kabob. All the meats were very juicy and flavorful. Check this place out so we can keep this hidden gem busy. Will be back to try more dishes."
"Pizza joints are among the toughest restaurants to recommend, because everyone seems to have different expectations. So, if you're the national chain type, you might as well move on and order from your app using this week's digital coupon. If you prefer to patronize mom & pop joints, please read on. Cafe Stefano's offers up an expanded menu of pizza, pasta dishes and appetizers. I ordered two pizzas and a pasta dish (along with an extra side of garlic bread) as a carry out order. The gentleman who took my order was very polite and the order was 100 percent accurate. And everything was hot and ready-to-go upon arrival. Kudos! After a 30 minute drive home, both pizzas remained intact and the single slice I immediately robbed from the box was delicious. I also stole a bite of the Fettuccine Alfredo, though I'm not a fan of the dish, and the pasta was wonderfully al dente. -- Warming up pizza slices the following day produced a pretty good lunch of extremely thin crisp-chewy crust. (If you like cold pizza, I'm sure it's good. Just prepare to use both hands and bring a lot of napkins to the table.) This place bills itself as New York style pizza, and it is -- thin floppy crust and decent-sized foldable slices. The sauce is tangy and the toppings are legit. And yes, these folks understand "extra sauce" when I order it. The single bite of pasta also made quite the impression. Cafe Stefano's is hardly along my regular route, since I live a couple towns over. But it would definitely be on my list of go-to mom & pop pizza joints if I lived closer. As it goes, I'll just have to plan more of my business in this area so that I can stop by for lunch or dinner. ;-)"
"Some of the best pizza ever! I'm really glad my husband and I got into a fight and he ordered this to make peace lol. They don't skimp on the cheese when you ask for extra. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and the delivery was fast."
"Here's a little gem a short ways from 146.Mario's is a large, bright, clean restaurant with lots of parking. It's not a typical pizza joint, more like a restaurant that has several Italian options. We came during lunch time, when they have a AYCE buffet for $13. All-You-Can-Eat typically loses money on me, and my teenage daughter has started to really develop an appetite, poor guys. My damage was 6 slices, so was the girl's, and the Hunny could barely finish #3 so she gave me her fourth, that makes 7 for me. And that includes the bowl of rabbit food. The pizza is pretty good. Mario's special has a lot on it: pepperoni, sausage, olives, and jalapenos, great flavor. The slices are quite small, and the crust is pretty wimpy on the bottom. But the taste is good. They also sell ham & pineapple, apologies to those who believe that pineapple does not belong on pizza.Overall, a pleasant outing, whether for a night out or to fill yourself on the way to the Kemah Boardwalk. The girl says that all they need now is to put Mario into red overalls and add Luigi next to him - but Princess Peach is in another castle!"
"Twice is two weeks...I ordered a Protein packed delicious salad with fruit. So healthy, loaded with Balsamic Vingrette. Hubs had Chicken Alfredo and his daughter and little bit the same. We were so sad to hear Cesar's twin brother had passed away, but the restaurant had a love sign board made in memory of his brother and customer's signed it. I am so thankful we went that weekend. This place has delicious food and music and is great for date nights, groups and business meetings and birthdays. Best Fried cheese sticks ever!!!!!"
"The food at Nona's is simply delicious! We tried the make your own way pasta with meatball and chicken Parmesan for entrees and both were perfect. The bruschetta bread along with the free bread they bring out is delicious. Their lunch specials are definitely a good deal for the price. I can't wait to try this place again. Service was just right too, along with the ambiance! Perfect for a business lunch or a date night."
"Our group of 4 had- Shrimp Alfredo with MinestroneChicken Parmigiana and saladShrimp LivorneseRavioli Vodka sauceAll were delicious. Service was very attentive."
"I'm not real big on Italian food but that's what they wanted so that's what we had. Food: the food was quite good actually. The appetizers were really good. We had calamari. Also the pizza was quite good as well. Full of flavor and fresh! Made to perfection. We really enjoyed the calzone as well. Didn't have enough room for desserts but I will try them if I ever come back. If you are a huge fan of Italian food I suggest you give it a try. Also the prices are very fair! Great lunch specials and great pricing overall. The customer service was great as well. Very attentive. They did take forever to bring the check. I will probably eat here again."
"Gina's has become my new go to pizza place. I like the crust thickness and the topping ratio and toppings are fresh. They are fast. Recommended!"
"Over the past month I have visited Antonio's twice for lunch. It is in a stand alone building with its own parking lot with a BIG sign out front. You can't miss it. This Italian eatery is an old time Houston institution that is famous for its frisbee like dough throwing exhibitions that are done for the benefit of diners. Since I didn't observe that either time for lunch I'm assuming they only do that at dinner time. Oh well...The lunch menu offers several options at reduced prices over the dinner menu. I believe the serving sizes are the same. My first visit was for pasta with meat sauce for $11. The meal came with bread and after a short wait delivered to the table. It was a good tasting meal with both flavor, quantity and value. On the dinner menu this same meal is $5 more.My second visit was for a pizza at lunch and I went with my usual order of beef, mushrooms and onions. For a 10" pie the lunch cost was $12.75 and at dinner it would have been $18.50. I guess the frisbee throwing show during dinner time is worth it?? Anyway that pizza was very good taste wise with plenty of toppings on the pizza. I would order it again but only at that price. Both visits were with prompt and professional table service."
"We only picked up kids fettuccine Alfredo to go for my daughter. She did enjoy it. Nice friendly service."
