"It's a chain eatery so I didn't expect a lot from them but I was pleasantly surprised because the cashier and manager were very helpful with us making orders of food we would love so it worked out well. The place and ambiance was as expected from a chain sandwich shop. We ordered a Newk's Q sandwich, a bowl of Loaded Potato, and a bowl of Tomato Basil The food was great."

"Most definitely a fan! This is inside H-E-B Supermarket but you pay at the South Flo stand. The pizza is made in front of you with fresh dough, a combo of mozzarella and provolone cheese and your choice of a pizza on their list or one of your choosing all for the same price. I ordered a fresh mushroom one for my partner since I had a buffet dinner prior. The mushrooms were totally fresh not old. I had a few bites and it was excellent! The crust comes one style between thin and hand tossed. No anchovies sadly. I've had slightly better pies on the East Coast that is why I gave it 4 star. You may easily rate it higher. $10 for a 16" and on Mondays it's only $8. They also have a happy hour where you can get a free beer or wine free while waiting for your 7" pizza from 5pm to 7pm M-F. They also have personal 8" pizzas for $7. The 3 women I spoke to were wonderful!Best deal in The Woodlands.Free parking in large parking lot of H-E-B Market Street."
"Came here with my family around 1pm to grab a bite to eat! It's so unassuming on the outside, and super cute and cafe like on the inside! There is parking in the front and side of the building. It's Halal! There is a huge illuminated menu on the wall and they have something for everyone! Breakfast is served until 4pm!We ordered breakfast foods: Cosmos bagel, French Toast, and an omelette! Great portions, reasonably priced, and the service was so nice! We also did gelato and a smoothie! I tried the Turkish coffee too. They have a patio and offer hookah. Definitely will return and there is another location off Almeda in the midtown area."
"Much better experience at Happy Hour vs the dining room! Several items at a lower price and you cannot beat the pizza. We also order the grilled bread and ask for a side of balsamic vinegar. Bartender is always great. She is very pleasant, makes a good drink, and is quick to help."
"Is it weird it's connected to a gas station? Sure. But I order take out from here from time to time and it's pretty good. The pizza is solid. The pizza rolls are fantastic and really good for the kids. For take out, it's a solid option."
"Hidden in the corner of the Kohl's/Target plaza in Humble, this place serves up some unique and hardy burgers. The burgers are made to order and come in two sizes half and quarter pounds. They have some ridiculously good fries as well from Cajun butter to garlic. The inside screams friendly and the servers stay behind the counter but are willing to bring you what you need."
"I always get the original. Good food, worker guy is kind of grumpy though. Let's step up the customer service, be happy to see people."
"Lovely spot to enjoy brunch and do some work-- need to try pastas (they smelled incredible at the neighboring table)The huevos rancheros were also very goodChicken and waffles are good, but the filet is a bit thin. Lovely waitstaff. The German chocolate cake is superb and thick.Cheers!"
"We were looking for a local brick oven pizza spot and came across this gem. Located near Kemah in a strip center, it did not disappoint. I have been watching my carb intake so I was not too enthused to have pizza but thankfully this spot had cauliflower crust! I ended up with a veggie cauliflower pizza and it was delicious! The hubs had a beef pizza and my little one had a kids cheese. They all thoroughly enjoyed theirs. To finish things off we had the pineapple upside down pizza and OH EM GEEE!!! It was sooo good! Aside from the food, service was good but then again we were 1 of two tables there (it was 9pm). The dining area was clean and spread out, TV's placed throughout! Football was playing on the TV's so I think this place would be great for watching sports as they also serve beer. Specials we were told about by server:Kids eat free in MondaysBOGO free medium pizzas on Wednesday'sMust try spot!"
"Fantastic pizza and calzones!!!We always get take out because it's less than 3 minutes away but they do deliver for a small fee."

This place was a total surprise to us! Didn't think it would have as big a menu as it did. Me & the hubs want to come back and explore the menu further. It's sort of like a Jason's deli but more Italian-y with pasta, pizza, and sandwiches. Great food for a great price. Super casual, service was good, and definitely worth a visit.

This restaurant is so cute. I came here for lunch and I really liked it. There's a lot to choose from, they even have smoothies, desserts, teas/coffee and HOOKAH. 5/5 for how diverse the menu is. Also, everything on the menu is pretty cheap. We got fried chicken and tacos which was delicious. I'd definitely recommend this place! 5/5

My wife and I have visited North Italia a few times and have been pleasantly surprised each time with their delicious food and top notch service. During our last visit, Cassandra was our server and her recommendations were perfect. She was mindful of our dietary restrictions and shared how some of the dishes can be adjusted accordingly! We had the STROZZAPRETI with chicken and SPICY RIGATONI VODKA with beef meatball. Both were amazing - perfect taste and like their other dishes, tasted fresh. In the past, we've enjoyed most of the foods we've tried except the WHITE TRUFFLE GARLIC BREAD - it seems overrated. Tastes OK but nothin special, so I recommend skipping that appetizer! The ambiance is perfect gor a date night or to hang out with some friends.

I love the ambiance. The a/c was cold and perfect for this hot summer in Houston. They have several TV s with the games on and at the same time music playing in the background. The food is American fare. Generally hamburgers and wings etc. One thing to note is everything is priced individually. For ex a hamburger does not come with fries etc. I love the outdoor seating area and lighting but was too hot to sit outside yet. I noticed they serve alcohol and also have breakfast available. They also have an ice cream bar for dessert. Service was prompt and friendly.Would recommend to try the Cajun butter seasoning on the fries!

"In the former Flourish bakery and cafe, there rests a new little French pastry and baked goods shop, Paulette. A delicious menu, fresh and hot coffee, the great staff are sure to make this a success. Their prices are similar to Le Madeline, but their options are so much more elegant, refined, and honest. I cannot wait to return."
"We are delighted the East End continues to attract more restaurants and with a variety in cuisine. Saturday night, I had one of my top dining experiences of the year. It was one of those meals that - as we were dining - I was planning our return, because savoring each bite in the present was not enough. I wanted to know when I could expect this magnificent meal again. And truth be told, we'll probably be weekly patrons. Our party of four started with the green pea hummus (stracciatella, evoo, toasted hazelnuts, greens, and toast) along with the gorgonzola dolce montato (whipped, black mission figs, walnut brittle, speck, rosemary honey, and ciabatta toast). In the spirit of family-style dining, the sharing of plates continued with the gnocchi (with marinara, parmigiano, basil); cacio e pepe (loved the use of rigatoni instead of spaghetti); bucatini with shrimp; paccheri (castleveltrano pesto, pistachio, mozzarella) ...And for our sole meat dish, the agnello (pan seared bone-in loin chop with romanesco, black peppercorn) had the meat eaters at the table eying every last drop of the saucey plate. Vegetarians and pescatarians: There are so many options, and they're all so delectable, best wishes on deciding what to order! (Again, family-style is the way to go, but I can see why someone wouldn't dare share a bite of their dish). For desserts, we split the panna cotta (vanilla bean, cara cara orange, lemon, mint) and the cioccolato salato (fennel cookie crumble, maraschino cherries, mascarpone cream). Two apps, four pastas, one meat dish, two desserts, and two bottles of wine came out to ~$300 with tax and tip. That's unheard of these days, especially for this level and quality of food, service, wine selection, and cozy ambiance. (Nancy Hustle and Tiny Champions, we love you, but think we found our new date night spot.). Book your reservation now. And if it's a lovely night, do dine al fresco on their patio. And keep an eye out for their wine dinners (they have one coming up on Nov 29, 2023 with two spots open, last I checked). Kudos to co-owners Co-owners chef Fernando Rios (you might be familiar with his pasta skills from Weights + Measures) and Mike Sammons (13 Celsius and How To Survive on Land and Sea) for creating this gem of an Italian trattoria on the East End. Can't wait to explore more of your menu."
"Best tasting pizza, fresh ingredients, quick and easy pickup orders, friendly staff, highly recommend!"
"Great customer service, walked in, pizza was not done yet and the gentleman asked if he could bring it out to me in my car which was very kind of him. The restaurant is a to go kind of scene, I liked the colors they had in there, it looked like they had a sort ofLego wall. We ordered two large pizza's and they were both delicious! One had all pepperoni and the other had all meat and onions yummy! My hubby and the boys loved it, we only had three slices left. Definitely plan to try them out again and try something new as well."
"I have tried delivery pizza from small places before with mixed reausts. Firehouse did a good job. First the Cesar salad was delicious. Great flavor.Next, the wings were very good. We had the mild wings. They were not really saucy but crispy with a great flavor. Big recommend.Last, the pizza was very good. Made our own combo which came out the same price as specalty, but with more toppings. Pizza was last to be eaten, and expected bottom to be soggy (as most do after sitting for a little while). The bottom was a little limp but still crispy and the crust had a little sweetness to it.My thumbs up to Firehouse."
"This a great place to meet and have adult beverages. They have a beautiful room with a large fireplace burning real wood. It was nice to be near it when the weather was cold. There is also a beautiful patio overlooking the vineyard to sit outside and enjoy the view. The bar serves wine and bubbly. They don't do cocktails but they do have a good selection of brown water to choose from. If you get hungry they do have a charcuterie and delicious Neapolitan style pizza to name a few things from the menu."
"Intro: I'm going to start things off by firing some shots. I've always said that Houston doesn't have a great pizza scene. That doesn't mean that there aren't solid spots in town, just not at the level I would expect from one of the largest cities in the US. Despite my sentiments, I love pizza and am always on the lookout for an A+ spot. I had heard good things about The Gypsy Poet so I stopped by on a Friday evening for dinner at 8:00 p.m. I found street parking on a side street close by. Service (2/5): Things didn't get off to a good start. You order at the counter and there was a line outside of the door that took roughly 30 minutes to get through. I hate waiting in line. Why are the prospects there for a long line at The Gypsy Poet? The fact that it's a popular pizza joint and that it was a Friday were certainly factors. However, there are some logistical issues too. They don't have menus for you to look at until you're at the counter. As a result, unless people in line look up the menu online before they get to the cashier, they're going to spend a couple of minutes perusing the menu when it's their turn to order. That slows things down substantially. Instead of relying on people to be proactive, if I were The Gypsy Poet, I'd hand out menus to people waiting in line, and then voila, the "traffic jam" lessens. I know having a line outside of your restaurant adds hype, but I hate artificial hype. The staff I interacted with while I was there was pleasant so the service delivers in this area.Ambiance (3.5/5): After you place your order, the experience progressively gets better and better. You select your own seat and they will bring your food to you. There's a variety of seating available including tables, couches, bar stools, and some seating on the patio. It's not a large restaurant so we ended up sitting at the one open table we could find inside. Outside of the seating arrangement, I did notice their playlist. They were playing a lot of EDM as background noise and I dug it. Food (5/5): Gypsy Poet is arguably the best pizza in Houston that I've experienced. Right up there with Luna Pizzeria. We ordered both the Margherita pizza and the Pepperoni Madness pizza. The Margherita is your classic traditional pizza with San Marzano tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, and basil. The Pepperoni Madness has both pepperoni and hot honey. Both of the pizzas were perfection. Everything: the crust, the cheese, the sauce, and the toppings worked in perfect harmony with each other. Out of the two, I would say I liked the Pepperoni Madness the best. It's one of their top sellers so go for it! We also had some tiramisu for dessert (my favorite dessert). A+ for the dessert as well. Drinks (4.5/5): A nice wine list. You can pick a bottle out while you're waiting in line which is exactly what I did. I went with a Pinot Noir, one of my favorite types of wine. They don't give you wine glasses, you're given regular glasses but it's all good. They also have a good beer selection and soft drinks if you're not feeling wine. Overall: The food is five stars hands down. With some logistical tweaks to ameliorate the dining experience, they would easily be a five-star restaurant in my book. They also have another location in The Heights. If you're looking for elite pizza in Houston, The Gypsy Poet has to be at the top of your list."
"This is your new stop between Houston and San Antonio. Trust me. Wow. Okay, first of all this place is set in a wonderful old house nestled just north of downtown Columbus. This place actually hugs you with wit and humor and class all at the same time. Fun paintings along with white table cloths and brass fixtures. Elegant. But what's a nice setting if the food isn't also great? MS delivers. We had apps and entrees from a full but not too-large a menu. Simple recognizable dishes for extremely well. We had salads, southern shrimp, braised short rib etc. All prepared and plated with an elegance and attention that matches the decor. Service was delightful attentive and kind. The owner even stopped by our table twice and spoke to us. Magnolia Society is worth the very short trek off of I-10 for food that is not a classless chain burger or prepackaged truck stop fare. This is your next go-to stop between San Antonio and Houston."
"A Slice of NYC in Texas baby!! I feel like I'm back in Queen's on Roosevelt Rd at Lucia's Pizza This is good stuff Man!! Rock n Roll Music and Decor all over the joint! Nice touch. They even gots Beer and Vino too, for you sophisticated folk's. The Pizza is Delicious and instantly transported me back to NYC and I can hear the subways and bus in the background, I swears!!Great ice cream too for a topper offer Salad plus Pizza combo was Awesome and hit the spot I felts like I was in NYC!! Just for a moment.....lol Thick accent....."
"Pizza is great. Seriously. We've ordered several times this month. Close to the house. Ready on time."
"We spent a few hours in Montrose and looking at the "vintage" shops. Was hungry, but didn't want much so we came here. A lot of complaints about customer service and being rude, but has anyone ever encountered happy people at a pizza place?? I got 2 slices of pizza. I really liked the pizza. I don't like a lot of sauce on the pizza while my husband does. Mine had the perfect amount of sauce on it without overdoing it. Husband wished it was saucier, but I liked it for a quick bite."
"Dinner tonight was great. Julia is an amazing server. Would proudly ask to sit in her section again. We were craving pizza, and HLP is close. We started with spinach and artichoke dip, which was very fresh. Not too cheesy. Pizza is great. Hand tossed. Not over sauced. Great cook, especially on the cheese - love those brown bubbles!Would definitely come back for a pizza fix!"
"Tomball location does not take reservations so we showed up early on Friday 11/11 at 5:50 pm with a party of 13. We were sat at 6:30.Our waitress was awesome handling our table. (I wish I could remember her name but I do remember she was from Croatia)The bread was freshly baked and we had plenty of it coming. We ordered 2 orders of the Sliced Italian sausage and fried mozzarella. Both were delicious. The fried mozzarella was lightly breaded and served with a warm fresh tomato sauce. It was a thicker cut but fried to perfection. The sliced Italian sausage was sautéed in a garlic, basil, white wine marinara sauce.. delicious with the bread for dipping.Everyone ordered different plates and commented on how good the food was. The only disappointment was the kid's pizza (but hey I'm ok with that)The Salmon Livornese was a seafood perfection! Sautéed with three jumbo shrimp, tomatoes, onions, black olives & capers in a light tomatoes sauce served with a side of vegetables. That sauce was everything!Restrooms are clean, staff was on point and food was appetizing."
"As one of the H-Town's most well known NY style pizzeria's, Frank's has played a pivotal role in the downtown lunch and late night night scene. The many years of serving drunk craving pizza has served them well, giving this place a fanbase amongst club goers, drunks, and late night enthusiasts (#1).The cliff note's version for folks seeking out New York pizza: If Frank's were actually located in NYC, this would likely rank on the lower end of the pizza spectrum. This is middle of the road to lesser New York pizza, but everything tastes good when drunk. It's not hard to pinpoint the differences, Frank's pizzas are of a slightly thicker end crust, the sauce to cheese ratio is way off, and the baking has a certain kind of Costco-esque broil finish to it. The conveyor oven that they use is stuff I would attribute to some of the national pizza chains, which appeals to a lot of the rest of the America. It's not bad pizza per se, but it's not in the same realm as some of the more typical pizza joints in any of the five boroughs. Also, what's up with the whole slices of tomatoes in the margherita? There is usually a good crowd here and the seating is limited to the upstairs and some counter / small table space in the front. Most patrons are going in takeout mode and order pizza by the slice. A lot of the slices are in the sub-$4+ range, which makes them a slightly pricier option (#2) right off the bat.I realize that one of the weakest links in H-Town's food scene is pizza but that likely won't stop me from coming here. I still appreciate their individual sized pizza slice boxes and the fast paced service. It's really about managing expectations, which if any, should be fairly low.____________(#1) :::raises hand::: Present.(#2) Foodflation. Our biggest foe."
"This place is super cute and the staff was very friendly. We had an order of mozzarella sticks and a pepperoni pizza. Everything tastes great. We will definitely be back."
"We'd been anxious to try this place, drawn in by the name, ever since we saw the coming soon sign and finally got the chance to check out it over the weekend. Walking in, we were quite unimpressed. It is a mediocre space consisting of three wooden seat booths, about 15 very small tables, and a huge bar that opens to the outdoor seating area. There is the option of ordering a cheese pizza with your choice of toppings or choosing from the carousels of already made pizza slices, which are huge. I chose a 16" pizza with hamburger, loaded waffle fries, a slice with a basket of waffle fries, garlic knots, and an order of the Fat Yays (to go). Short and sweet, we had to pull two of the tables in order to be able to get everything we ordered to fit, the pizza reminded me of school pizza, which might be good thing for after the club on Bourbon Street, but for sober on a Saturday, it was just wrong! The waffle fries were not very good, tasting like they were overcooked and soaked in oil - the cheese and bacon didn't really save them either. Lastly, I'll stick to getting my beignets from my favorite do-nut shop or a Cajun restaurant, because the Yays made me want to boo!The Garlic Knots with marinara sauce for dipping was the highlight for me!We came, we saw, we did. Nuff said."
"There are lots of reasons to come here, in fact, there are Schlotz of reasons to come here, but healthy food is none of them!So this is a famous deli which may be from Austin originally, but is all over the place now. A little expensive and not very good for you, but some of their stuff is actually pretty decent tasting. This location is in Spring Branch right off of Interstate 10 on the north side of the Katy freeway, and it's one of the better options for food in this particular plaza, which is well known for having a lot of chains and way too many stores."
"I was truly devastated about Zpizza leaving Houston. This was a few years back, when vegan pizza options were hard to come by. So then we started ordering from another local chain pizza . . . except the quality and the accuracy of our orders was always an issues, so that didn't feel like an adequate solution to my vegan pizza woes. Then here comes Pepperoni's and it's like, "Don't worry sis, I got you!!!" I would like to state that I used to order a vegetarian supreme pizza, without cheese, from Pepperoni's like back in 2001, from their Sugar Land location. So I was always a fan of their pizzas, even sans cheese. But upon learning that they now carry vegan cheese, and even vegan pepperoni (I think they don't always have it in stock though!), heck yes, sign me up! And yes indeed, Pepperoni's vegan pizza is indeed a very good and tasty (but basic) vegan pizza! Like even my omnivore husband is happy to chow down on it! Speaking of omnivore, my husband does also quite like the calzones and pizza rolls. The first time he ever had a Pepperoni's calzone he determined that it was one of the tastiest calzones he's ever come across. And get this, our orders have never been screwed up! Which is pretty exciting because when I have a hankering for vegan pizza and order one, the last thing I want is a pizza with real meat and dairy cheese . . . ahem!"
"So this little food truck is in a cleared field/area called Montgomery Grove. We thought it was going to be multiple food trucks out here but apparently we were wrong. Right now there is dizzy pies, and we were wrong about this too. We thought it was going to be fruit pies and we were wondering why it was so busy on a Friday night. We are here on Saturday afternoon and loving it. The wide open beautiful clearing with lots of shade and ...knock on wood ...not a lot of bugs. We both ordered individual pizzas , did not need to do that. The pizzas are big enough that we could have easily shared one, wouldn't have been any to take home but still would have been enough. It sounds like late summer than will be an actual restaurant here as well as the food truck with the pizzas. Definitely something you'll want to check out. Back to the outside seating, again, this is really a nice area, there are places for bonfires which would be fun to be a part of. Lots of tables with umbrellas, but really not needed because there are so many full trees and shade out here. Great country music is playing loudly and depending on where you sit, it's wonderful. I guess if you were right in front of the speaker it would be a bit annoying, but where we are was just perfect. The Grove is spectacular. I keep looking around expecting to see the deer come out of the Treeline. I bet it happens at night. I highly suggest checking this place out."
"I ordered one of my go-to dishes here, Lobster Ravioli. It was rich and very delicious with a soft, creamy texture containing big, succulent pieces of mini lobster. Each one of those was a little crispy, nicely moist and not too fishy or too mild. The red sauce is really tasty in this entree and my favorite part of its flavor profile. It's terrific tomato base and creaminess go a long way balancing out the seafood vibes in the dish. The ravioli are really fresh and doughy with a great lobster filling in each. Nothing is skimped, underdone or overdone. Imo, the best lobster ravioli around. Some places just smother it with white cream and it doesn't have all the aromas this one has. Great, friendly service again."
"The Flat is a dope vibe on Wednesday nights (only times I've been) with good music, people, food and drinks. If you've ever been to a basement like party in Brooklyn, this is the same vibe. Located in the Montrose neighborhood, The Flat caters to all. Every time I've been, the crowd is diverse, and that ranges across all ages, race, geographic location and gender identity. It's free to get in and there's plenty of street parking available. There's a Caribbean food truck out front and a guy who makes wings on the outdoor patio. I enjoy being out on the patio because there's plenty seating and you get to converse with other party goers and meet great people. It's also a breath of fresh air to go out in Houston and not have to deal with valet, entry fee or sections."
"I'm a huge fan of Daddyos. Keep up the great product, y'all! Not too greasy and a fair price for the loads of toppings."
