"This is not the same James Coney Island of years past. First if all most the menu is considerably more varied. Yes you can still get those small steamed bun coneys. Yes they're still delicious with a little chilly and onion and cheese. However now you have a choice of hamburgers, cheese steaks, brats and a nice dairy dessert menu of milkshakes and ice cream etc. however the best part of the restaurant might be not the menu and certainly would not appreciate it if you go through the drive-through. It is inside where it looks like a classic 1950s style diner large, roomy and comfortable. It is a place where you may linger a while even after the meal. Unfortunately I was somewhat disappointed in all things not coneys. The brats was a bit salty and had almost a metallic taste. True I'm not a great fan of sauerkraut but the brats lack that snap and juiciness that you come to expect from a nicely grilled sausage. The cheesesteak was quite acceptable. Not to be confused from the Philadelphia version but still nice meaty choice. However be forewarned it is small but it is also cheap so get two if you think you really going to have it as a meal."
"This new restaurant evolved from their food truck and is nice and clean inside. It's menu is basically from the food truck and offers burgers and sandwiches with Pepsi products to drink. Good Eatz is a counter service restaurant with parking in front. I've had the brisket grilled cheese sandwich for $10. If you order a side dish and drink they make it a combo and offer a $.70 discount from the price of those two items and I chose the fried potato wedges. This sandwich is served on Texas Toast with American cheese and brisket on the inside. The potato wedges were big, thick and hot. Taste wise everything was ok and I gave it a 3 score.Another visit was to try their classic burger for $8.50 and that time I went with Zapps potato chips for the combo side. The burger had a 6 oz. beef patty and altogether made a good meal that I gave a 3 to also."

"Very good hotdogs. Service is quick and it's fast food so ambiance is as you'd expect. Place is clean and sanitary."
"Munches Good Eats, named after their late father "MUNCH" is family owned and operated by a brother sister duo from Chicago (Tracy & Kevin). Very nice and friendly. I have been to the truck a few times since they have opened and the food is really good. A must try are the Chicken Tips. If you like bbq rib tips than you will like these. Especially if you are from the northern states or midwest. My other favorites are the fish and Jerk tacos and Jerk Rolls, but beware not to bite them when you first get them you will burn your mouth they're hot and fresh from the fryer.Make sure to try all the sauces mild sauce a Chicago staple, Jerk sauce hot or mild, bbq sauce. They even have banana pudding made the young chef Caylee."
"This was a really good burger. I had a cheeseburger with bacon and jalapeño. Made to order. All toppings, bread and meat were really fresh. I didn't have to wait long I visited on a Friday probably after the lunch rush. They are not open on the weekends. It seems like it's the same staff so that's understandable. Breaks are needed for greatness. They have outdoor seating only with umbrellas. You can order from a pick up window or by calling it in. I guess this is beneficial if it's particularly busy. It was not when I went. It's a burger that definitely needs to be tried."
"Amongst the world of hot dogs, it is hard to find a really good hot dog in the Houston area. Craving a hot dog, I turned to Yelp and searched the entire Houston area. Sloppy Dogg popped up as a place that I had not visited before.I ordered a few hot dogs and some fries. I cared more about sampling than finishing everything. The BBQ dog was my favorite!! It had a Sunday afternoon BBQ taste to it that was very unique. Much of the flavor was derived from the sausage and the bbq sauce. The chili dog was good, but was not even close to being my favorite. The trailer itself is located in an easy to reach parking lot. The staff is friendly, but they definitely have their favorites. The delivered the food and checked on another party that was seated there. For me, they rang my pager to come pick up the food myself even though I was the very next table over - and no one else was in line."
"Headed back home from Corpus Christi and looking for a quick lunch and a restaurant we haven't tried. Searched trusty Yelp for a recommendation and this place in old Edna popped up. Sounded good so we made the loop around to find it and I am really glad we did. The restaurant is very unassuming as a converted old filling station (almost expected to meet someone named Goober here..) it was a blessing that there were no fan belts or hoses on the walls or tires laying around just an adapted front drive through and demure entrance door. The inside is very basic small town tables and chairs with an old menu block letter sign and plastic wrapped specials list on the counter. Divey! I loved it. A nice lady took our order (two cheese burger baskets with fries) and the food came out pretty quickly. I was surprised how large and beautiful the burgers were presented. Large home style buns with a fat patty of excellent quality, lettuce, tomato and onion all fresh. The burgers were wrapped in paper like days gone by and the first bite sent me back to the days of my youth when people went out of their way in crafting good burgers. They have the taste of early Americana busting of juicy flavor. They really need to be wrapped in paper as they are just that juicy! The crinkle fries were cooked perfectly crunchy without being dry. The catchup was brought out from a cooler cold..(love the health and safety mindset) and alas my burger was gone before I realized I hadn't taken a picture! Sorry about that! I set my empty basket down and pulled more tip money out of my wallet to add to my previous tip when we paid at the counter. This was the best burger I've had really in decades. Not dripping in avocado-mango-salsa or blackened or covered in bacon or whatever, just an honest old school home run of a basic cheese burger. Love it ... or face the fact that everyone with any sense will know you don't know what a burger is supposed to taste like!!! Burger lady.. I will be back!! Next time to sample the awesome chili you told me about too!"
"Best Tacos In Houston ! I went for dinner yesterday for the first time & let me just say this place did not disappoint it was so so so good!Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious!! I found my new taco spot !! I have been seeing it on TikTok when it was just a taco truck and they now expanded to a restaurant, very spacious and clean. The owners were so nice and friendly ,they checked in on us to make sure everything was to our liking !! And it most definitely was !! 10/10 would recommend and they also have party platters for your next party or event."
"OK, I am in love with their burgers. Conveniently located off of the Katy Freeway, this store is located next to Goode Co Seafood. The lot is HUGE so no problem parking. Clean, clean store. Order at the counter & they call your name when your order is ready. Their burgers (sans the potato stix) are seasoned to perfection & topped with their Pincho sauce (ask for an extra side of it for your fries) & veggies. The bread is super fresh & goes well with the protein. Their fries are crispy & better than any other place in the area.Staff are accomodating, nice & efficient. Oh lord help me, I'm gonna get fat."
"One of our favorite stops in the road! Bathrooms are clean and food is yummy!!Burgers are HUGE! I get the junior size and leave completely satisfied. My family loves the bacon cheeseburgers! I have tried the veggie burger and they are delightful if you are cutting back! A large fry feeds 4-6 people!! They're never ending! The Cajun fries are interesting!! They are a spicy sweet flavoring. It does take a few minutes to get your food because it's fresh!! Enjoy!"
"While driving by recently on a Sunday evening (11111 N Houston Rosslyn Rd), I noticed the Crush City Treats sign. Curiosity made me come back. I was surprised to find out that this small business had been open since July 4th. The menu of Crust City Treats has more than just ice cream, but I was only there for the ice cream. One thing that I noticed was that in comparison to some of the ice cream franchises in the area, the prices are lower, however Crust City Treats does not have as many ice cream flavors to choose from. Despite this, I am looking forward to returning for a banana split. Rewards program available with a punch card."
"This was amazing to come to! As a Huge Sonic myself I really wanted to come to this location while it was located here in Texas. I really liked the Cafe's interior and how it displayed Sonic to its best! The service was pretty decent the cashier took my order and got it right and I also had bought a Sonic Cafe Shirt which had managed to get me to, To spin a wheel that had gotten me a free cookie. The food was amazing I had gotten the Sonic's Classic Chili Dog and it was delicious, The Sonic Adventure Fries (Chili Cheese Fries) which were once again delicious, Golden rings (Onion Rings) which were hot & delicious and the Piko Piko Tenders (Chicken Tenders & Fries) which were sadly cold and not hot But in all everything was still delicious at best! If you're ever in Katy Texas and a Huge Sonic Fan then please come and try this cafe before it's gone. Also hopefully in the future I hope that Nintendo can do the same thing like this But with Mario though."

I have a fond love for the underdog spot. Especially one that disappeared years ago in this city! There are a few places to get the glizzy in town, but to have this one come back with a vengeance is great! First off: location. Placing this by a oil change place, Whataburger and a Walmart???? Nice! You have no choice but to see it! Second.....I really could have used those coupons that was in the bag before I ordered. (Sigh) The haul: Number One Combo (Two hot dogs, fries and drink) with a Chicago Dog, Chili Cheese both beef, medium fry and medium Watermelon Lemonade. The chili is Trell the star in my opinion. Right spice and no bitter taste to it. The Chicago Dpg was seasoned and topped with veggies that were amazing! The chili dog was a handful of goodness too good to pass up'. The fries is my only hang up. Good, but almost a dead ringer for McDonalds. Overall, I would visit again. It may become like one of those go to once in a while places.

If you're driving by, and you notice this place -- you should stop in for a meal. This place has been there longer than any other place in the vicinity. That along should tell you how great it is!Burger and fry combo stacks up against any other I've had (in Houston or elsewhere).Do yourself a favor and try it out!

When i tell you this is the BEST hot dog my mouth had the pleasure of tasting! First off, the customer service is top tier! Amazing ! Secondly, i was able to customize my dogs and i just went for it with the toppings! It was sooo good i was ready to come back to another one immediately. If you haven't tried sloppy dogg, make your way to humble and try one! Did i forgot to mention the dessert dog! Taste like something you will only find at a fair!

Delicious! Driving thru on a rainy Sunday and came across the best cheeseburger! A great little place with friendly service! I got a single and my husband a double with grilled jalapeños and bacon. They were bigger than we anticipated because of the price. Toasted bun with all the fixings and many additional options. For less than $25, we got the burger combos with fries and tea. Clean, and family friendly home cooked food (burgers, dogs, chicken and gizzards) that was better than anything I've had in a long while. I definitely recommend!

First of all, customer service is elite! The owners are the nicest people, been a while that we met them and they still remembered us, just what you want from a neighborhood spot. The tacos were BOMB! Trompo was very tender and flavorful. Tortillas were soft and fresh. Great flavors without toda la grasa at the bottom of the plate!

"Idk about hotdogs and fries as a breakfast special (as is currently advertised in the window) but this was the lightest, most delicately crisp spanakopita I've ever had. The lady who rang me up was also quite friendly."
"A great Sunday afternoon for family, football, and a great Burger. The parking was decent considering it was located near a busy area of Cypress, TX. The inside was clean; however, I noticed that one of the boxes of peanuts was expired according to the date displayed. But I managed to find a fresh batch of peanuts available. The staff was friendly, courteous, and the food was great!!! Just a heads up....the pricing is a little on the expensive side, but the quality of the food was spot on. The Bacon Cheeseburger was my choice and it was cooked perfectly. My goodness 100% beef and the Cajun styled fries were freshly cooked and not over seasoned. If you are traveling on the outskirts of Houston and looking for a great burger this is the spot. Enjoy!!!"
"These folks are in the parking lot of a thriving community that's gotten a little gentrification here and there and in a prime location for a lot of the community that don't want to wait forever like you'd do at kiosko or at the flea market. These people work quick and if they say "it's gone be 5 minutes" it's gonna take that long that's how fast they work. Now I wouldn't recommend their beef jerky since it has a bland taste, but their roasted corn in a cup is awesome. You can taste the sweetness and the roast flavor. The owner is a sweet guy and will recommend stuff to you, and if you're in the area stop by and grab either the corn or tostilote or if you want a quick little Mexican hot dog fix this is the place. The tostilote are flavored tostito chips with their corn, sour cream, cilantro, nacho cheese, valentina drizzle, and queso fresco it was UFFFFF PERFECTO! 10/10 would recommend"
"Only tried once. We both tried a different hot dog, both were scarfed down. Looking forward to getting it again and trying another one."
"Probably the closest thing I have eaten in Texas to a Philly Cheesteak. Growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia this was a treat. Wish they had Cooper Sharp as a cheese option; that would make it legit! I appreciated the Amoroso Roll - nice touch. However, my personal preference is a roll with a hard crust on the outside. Overall, well seasoned and great tasting cheesesteak. I will definitely go back. Worth noting..... I read some reviews of people complaining about the price. That is normal for a place that uses sliced ribeye. Worth paying a little more for quality."
"I was craving a cheesesteak and found this food truck! First off the owner is really cool and is from Philadelphia, I'm also from Philadelphia so when it comes to cheesesteaks my expectations were definitely high! Needless to say I'm leaving a review with 5 stars because he did not disappoint and will definitely frequent this spot more often because he sales more than just cheesesteaks and even has Italian water ice like they do from Philly!"
"Delicious little food truck. Tacos and sauces were fresh and really tasty! There's also ample parking."
"This was my first time trying out this location and it was amazing ! The drive thru staff was very pleasant and friendly. The service was quick and when the food arrived it was fresh and hot! The only concern I had was the order before me possibly ordered the Cajun seasoning because some of it got my my burger bun and made it spicy. I don't mind a little spice!"
"Yes so worth the U-turn . On a Sunday morning ready to drive back up north . This is marked on my road trips for sure . The corn tortillas are so fresh as homemade. And the taco meat was so tender and juicy every bite was worth the great calories "" 100 legit place . Thank you , I highly recommend this nice stop ., it has patio seating with a shelter from the sun . And enough fans for this summer heat ."
"I always pass them up coming from work on a daily but never stopped . Last night was a late night and pass it up and made a quick uturn . Let's give them a shot !! If your looking for something way different from the usual taco trucks this is the spot to go , good hotdogs and burgers !!! Mexican style hot dogs to the T be prepare to wait about 10-15 minutes a little over if it's a full parking lot I'm sure ."
"I'm from Dallas and whenever I go to Houston I get this when I'm leaving. This location is clean and they're so polite. I got the foot long chilli dog and the baked tots and got a sweet tea. The tea is really good, the chilli dog is one of the best I've had and I just love their baked tots. Definitely will go back next time like always."
"If you're in the 77379 and are wanting a hot dog at a good price point - stop by Wacked Out Weiner! The place is a family-run shop and they have multi-dog meals. The toppings are unlimited which means if you want brisket, slaw, and other options added to your dog - it's the same price as if you just added mustard. The place is small and relatively quiet. The staff is very friendly and they are more than happy to make suggestions and walk you through the options to dress your dog.I would defiantly return again!"
"Very good hot dog. Great take on a Chicago dog, but missed the poppyseed bun. As a first timer I recommend looking at place settings on front of you. Order sheets are there for you to fill out. Not sure I liked this..but it worked and we still made it on time for trivia at B52."
"consistent cheeseburger and fries. the flavor is delicious. short wait times for ordering and for food. attentive staff."
"Just a tad bit south of Pearland is the Burger Barn. It's been around for awhile, before the small town of Manvel started to grow. I am always on the hunt for a good burger, so my son and I came to check it out. The name is fitting because it really does look like a big red barn. The day we came, I think they had some plumbing issues so it almost smelled like a barn too! I won't hold it against them because s@#! happens. The staff was oh so friendly and hospitable and had plenty of great recommendations.Food wise, this place has a little bit of everything. They got appetizers, burgers, wings, Mexican and American plates, hot dogs, and baked potatoes. Unless you are extremely picky, you should be able to find something you like here. We started off with an order of Fried Pickles to start. I am not a huge pickle guy in general, but here they tasted pretty good. Per usual, I went with something basic since it was my first time here and I really wanted to see what one of their regular cheeseburgers tasted like. They do offer a nice variety of burgers though. The burger was a half pound and freshly ground. You can always tell when a burger patty was frozen, but this was not that. They seasoned it well and it held up nicely with the soft bun. The toppings of lettuce, tomato and onions were fresh and crisp as well. They got choices as far as sides go, but I went with regular fries. I couldn't tell you if they were hand cut or frozen, but they were good. Pearland has some pretty good burger spots and I would put this spot on that list as well. I will definitely be back!"
"Good solid food. Friendly people. Been here since 1938. Huge menu for such a small place. Watch your prices though, seems like some are priced well while others seem extraordinarily high."
"I have been going here for yrs. definitely good food and consistent. Staff-good also. Bacon burger, fries and coke- $18.30. Seems about $4 too expensive but it will not stop me from eating there. Thanks you..."
"Kinda like a divey burger joint but well worth the trip. The bbq brisket burger is loaded with melt in your mouth brisket on a burger. I will definitely order this again. The onion rings are home made with just the right amount of home made breading. If you're in need of a delicious burger and onion rings, this is your go to. Definitely recommend this place. If I'm in the area, I will return"
