"Awesome street tacos! I will absolutely be back for the insanely delicious Luvary Tacos - they have cheese melted in between the first and second tortilla, and the meat they use is so flavorful! They top them off with sautéed onion and cilantro, and all the flavors meld together so well. I only got one, and regretted my decision after the first bite! I also tried the Barbacoa and the Pastor tacos. The Pastor was good, but the barbacoa fell a little flat - it was cooked well though. The Luvary taco was $2, and the others were each a dollar, so very reasonably priced. Please note this place is CASH ONLY - so be prepared for that. Can't wait to come back and try some of the other menu items (and post pictures since I forgot to take them!)"
"Cute, quaint, cultural, delicious! A great local spot to visit on a Sunday afternoon, especially when it's hot. We ordered elote all the way around and a variety of snow cones. We'll be back to try all of the fresh fruit combos! We had elote and snow cones on our minds. Can sit outside on the deck with music, ceiling fans, and a great cross breeze."

"So I've never really the type to eat tacos from a gas station...until Buzzy's Tacos. My sister dropped in and brought breakfast over and I was drooling over the fresh warm obviously homemade tortillas, fresh eggs and bacon that filled the tacos. I stopped in a couple times and it seems that the word got out because every time I come in, there's a line! Their breakst tacos seem to be super popular and the menu is sweet and simple. They also offer barbacoa if that's your type of breakfast and also offer a lunch menu (which ends at 2pm I believe and they close up). I'm happy to have found my breakfast taco home in Pearland :)"
"Great spot. Food is amazing and very well priced. Complementary chips and salsa and the green salsa is so good. Staff are friendly and attentive. Would visit again."
"I love this place because prices are really good,, my co workers and my go lunch time with no waiting time and food is very good.. Thank people is super costumer oriented .. Never disappointment with this place recommended to everybody.. Tatico"
"Really good tacos but lemme tell ya...very sketchy area to be standing alone if you're a female... I have come here multiple of times and have been approached by random people and stared at by this one guy coming from the Lulu liquor store towards me when I was waiting for my corn elote and taco order! I thought I was gonna get robbed that day lol. I would suggest ordering and only taking out your form of payment when you step out of your car. ( they take card and cash). Don't be a victim with your fancy bags and what not. And if you have a large order wait in your car and then get it when they signal you. The tacos are about $2 a piece for the al carbon beef but super flavorful and the aroma here is on point. Corn elote is okay but the must get item is their taco and delicious green salsa!"
"Well feel bad. Started a review last time was here and apparently never finished. Anyway I was rating them 5 stars. Interesting I was ready to go with another 5 stars. The red salsa was awesome flavor and nice and hot. The fajitas Gratinadas was prepared to perfection for both the chicken and beef. The server was very pleasant and did not allow is to wait for anything. Way to go! Thanks!"
"We ordered to go some tamales and wipe.By the time we got back to the office and realized the sope which was described on their website as blue corn tortilla was not as it got described. And it's quite small for $5.50The tamales now are 1/2 of the size which was used to be and prices got increase. The food was not as good as it used to be. I don't think I would be back anymore"
"Stellar gorditas. I enjoyed the carnitas ones more than the carne asada. Can't wait to come here again"
"Heiberto was my server and he was both attentive and quick....Standard chips n salsa was handed out and my water and Soda was always filled up. Pretty tasty and yummy Milensa....but using shallow plates to give the Illusion of more portions is cheesy!!Also I only received 2 Tortillas with this order?? Usually 3/4 come with a plato.....and also had to add a side order of beans?*?(Typically comes standard in most Mex Restaurants)Tortillas were homemade and very good but c'mon 1 more wouldn't hurt on this alittle pricey meal....Background verification, I'm somewhat picky bcuz I come from a Family Mexican Restaurant and know what it takes and how to do it....."
"Decent Tex-Mex at really affordable prices. We went here with our in-laws for a quick Saturday lunch. We were surpirsed to see that there was a lot of seating available when arriving right at noon. We are from Sugar Land and have not had Casa Ole since the one in Stafford closed down several years ago. The green sauce was all that I remembered it was, I could eat a gallon of that stuff. The red sauce was a little disappointing, it tasted too much like tomato sauce and not enough peppers/onions/spices. My husband and I ordered combination plates, I think it was the Ambassador Plate. It comes with a cold plate and a hot plate. On the cold plate it had a chalupa, queso and guacamole. Everything was fresh! On the hot plate it came with cheese enchiladas, mexican rice, and refried beans. The enchiladas were ok, not how I remembered from years ago. The tortillas were a little firm for my liking, and the sauce they pour over was too tomato-y. The rice was a little over cooked, but the beans were good. The service here was really great, our waitress was friendly and helpful, returning several times to refill drinks. We got the sopapillas which were very good...they come with honey and a really tasty caramel rum sauce. Overall, we would visit again if we were in the area."
"Pretty New Mexican restaurant in the area. Location kind of stinks being right off the highway so if you don't exit properly, you'll pass it up and a pain to circle back. However, definitely worth the stop. Service was friendly and asked for our drinks right away. I ordered a margarita and the wife ordered a mango chamoy margarita, while the kids had water and lemonade. Chips and salsa were hot and fresh. Salsa had a good flavor to it and not overly spicy. For our entrees we had the chicken mole, which had a slight spice to it, the Tomball burrito, filled with chicken, beans and rice, then covered in queso and the fajita nachos. Everything tasted fresh, the portions were generous and food came out timely."

Absolutely love this place! Everything is good, but you have to remember that it is CASH ONLY. Luckily my fiancé had cash on him. We waited in line for a while as it is very popular. As soon as we got to the window to order, it went by super quick.

I like the fact that the tacos are a good size! It's usually not that busy at 10ish and the people are generally nice. They do give one sauce per taco though but that's alright with me. I'm glad I got an off day to be able to come back! My favorite is always the pastor tacos.

After this visit, I officially have broken up with Ruchi's. I used to love it but it has fallen off in the recent years. I ordered the tinga burrito and the meat was super tough and chewy. I asked to swap for chicken and that was almost equally as tough. The service was slow and not friendly.I haven't had even a mediocre Ruchi's experience in some time. The food has become flavorless and almost inedible.

5 Stars all the way. This is the best taco place in the area. Love the fact you can call in orders, show up 10 minutes later and you are in taco heaven. Fajita tacos with beans, cheese, and avocado is the way to go.

Nice spot!Service was great, food was yummmmm, and drinks were great as well!! The menu is fairly big, they have a little bit of everything. From tacos and burritos, to fajita plates and seafood dishes. Drink menu was fun! Had a ton of drinks to choose from (mainly margs or tequila based), but can mix and match anything really. Lot of flavors to choose from for the margs. My fav was guava and the hibiscus.Would definitely come back!!

This gem of a Mexican restaurant is tucked away right off of 610 on the first block of south post oak. Inside is small but still has plenty of seating. There are TVs for entertainment while you eat. All the food ordered looked and tasted delicious. Hands down Huevos Divorciados are my favorite. I would add a strip of bacon or fajita if possible next time. The tamales are definitely delicious but the masa broke up easily. They could use some crema and extra salsa. The agua frescas were very delicious and refreshing. I didn't get to try a dessert but will definitely get some next time. Everyone inside is very friendly and the food came about almost as quick as we sat down! Y'all should check this place out soon or there Burgs & Margs down the street.

"I love this place.I've been a few times now and the food is delicious. My only gripe with the food was that the Fajitas for 2 do not come with two plates of beans and rice, which I thought was the whole point of fajitas for 2. Their pupusas are some of the best restaurant pupusas you'll get. The rice ones were a bit hard and not how they should be, so I wouldn't recommend getting them.Their tamales were delicious and had a surprising amount of chicken in them.My server was attentive and helpful, I have nothing against them on that. Overall a good, cheap, and authentic eating experience."
"Dining with a large party is often a challenge, especially in these times when staffing is an issue. Given the short notice, we didn't have high expectations for Mamarita's being able to accommodate us, but they did. Not only that, the service and food were remarkable. Food: I had queso and Enchiladas De Crema. The group shared Beef, Chicken & Shrimp Fajitas. Good portion sizes and very tasty. Price: Reasonable and on par with similar restaurants. Cleanliness: Could have been a little spiffier, but not gross. Service: Outstanding given the circumstances. Hard-working, friendly, professional servers. We were pleased and impressed."
"We love Maga's. It's a neighborhood cafe with a menu so diverse, you'll find Tex-Mex and Mexican favorites (spicy chicken enchiladas, flautas, fajita salad, gorditas estilo san luis, chicken mole, chile relleno), Mediterranean options like Greek salad, kabob, hummus platter; and other homestyle favorites, like chicken fried chicken, fettuccine alfredo, grilled salmon, artichoke dip, burgers, stuffed eggplant, and a lot of other veggie options. Normally when a menu is that diverse, the food is mediocre, but we've been pleased with the many items selected there. And everything's made to order, so don't dine there in a rush. My go-tos that I can not get away from - as much as I want to try other items on the menu - are the spicy chicken enchiladas, tostadas, migas, and eggs bennie. I believe it's woman-owned - it's all women in the kitchen working really hard, and quiet honestly looking tired from being on their feet all day. We always tip way over 20-25% because the food is really inexpensive. It's also BYOB. And they got rid of the outdoor seating to - what looks like - expand their kitchen and upgrade the restrooms. It's also very kid- and family-friendly with booster chairs and kiddie foods (like chicken tendies)."
"Get your butt over here to get these $1.00 tacos with a cup of free delicious frijoles a las charra. Tortillas tasted homemade even if they weren't. One barbacoa, one pastor, one cup bean soup- $2.00. Best deal for delicious tacos I have found to date."
"This is truly a family-owned and operated cafe and bakery. Restaurant owner Trinidad is back in the kitchen/bakery; his wife is tending to the tables; and their son and daughter are working the register and greeting guests. It's a small team, but they're working hard. (Oh, and son and daughter are also continuing their education in college while also working at the family biz.). Like I said: Hard working family! Many know La Casa Bakery & Cafe for going twitter viral in 2017 (Google the heartwarming story); others know them for their homemade tortillas and barbacoa breakfast tacos. Me, my family, and our family friends now know them as "the place with the best campechanas!"Mexican campechanas are a puff pastry hailing from the Mexican state of Campeche. (Do not confuse this with Mexican seafood cocktail, also called "campechana.") So the puff pastry campechanas from La Casa are the best in Houston. They're flaky, buttery, glazed with the perfect amount of sweet. And they don't lose their crunch after a few days (if they happen to last that long in my house.) I've placed at least three separate orders to take to family gatherings, and friends and family are always requesting more. "Pick up 20. Pick up 30..." Owner Trinidad has been working in the restaurant and panaderia scene for decades, and these recipes are his own. As for the breakfast plates, you can find plates for less than $5. That's insanely affordable. My last visit, the beau and I each had our own breakfast plates, then shared an order of pancakes for dessert. :)Do add this biz to your list to try. They recently made "Yelp's Top 100 Places to Eat in Texas" for 2021. Drop in for breakfast, enjoy the Mexican decor and homey vibes, and take home some pastries.Kudos to this biz for adding a hand wash station upon entry! I appreciate this touch of added safety during pandemic dining."
"So glad we have an Ostineria Michoacan Seafood and Oyster Bar just south of The Woodlands. No more driving south of Greenspoint for my Mexican Seafood delights. This restaurant is on the southbound feeder after Nursery Rd and the big "Brake Check" sign in the next strip center. This will be the closest to being in a tropical resort way down in Mexico when you read about all the wonderful seafood delights. The menu is in English and Spanish and so are the waitstaff's language. They have cold to hot appetizers, salads, various shrimp entrees, breaded and fried entrees, quail, a variety of authentic Mexican entrees, soups, all kinds of fish and seafood, house specialties including my fav Huachinango de Marciscos. They also have lobster. Kids plates under 12 for $3.50 to $5.95. Lunch specials are available for $5.95 to $11.95 and also come with their special fried rice and yummy French fries. Beer and wine are available including Micheladas. We received a red and green sauce which were both fresh and authentic with chips while waiting for our food. I ordered the Parrillada de Marciscos which came with a whole fried catfish and the most tender, like butter, seafoods which were grilled octopus, squid, shrimp, scallops, and clams. This was served with their fried rice, French fries and toasted bread. This was an incredible meal except that the chef was a little heavy on the salt. My dining partner had the shrimp brochette, beef fajitas, a piece of fish, guacamole, rice beans and choice of tortillas. The refried beans were a bit oily but everything else was very good. My dining partner ordered a house margarita which I thought was too sweet. I personally would upgrade if possible. At 9 pm a disk jockey started playing in the back of the restaurant. They also have 2 TV's up front to watch a game. This place has only been open for a month and a half. It did take a while for our food to come out but not an excessive amount of time. I'll be back for sure!!!Yelp Review #315"
"Love this place! My top rating is usually 4 stars, but they deserve 5! Some friends found Soto and we now go at least once a month. I have never had a bad meal!I have had the Carne Asada, Steak Potosino, Combo #6, fajita salad, and more. All are great! I do t really have a favorite, it just depends on the mood. The staff is all very friendly and usually really quick and attentive replenishing your chips and salsa before you ask. The food always comes out hot and fast. Decent size restaurant but they do get busy and sometimes there is a 15-20 min wait. I started using Open Table to reserve a table if I am tight on time. The decor has that fun Mexican restaurant feel. Lots of cool decor! The parking lot fills up fast as well, so keep that in mind if you are running late."
"Thissan;d gso si ago daklj; Omg ksat the abraowcao is aod sfmazing it tastes go dookj i cants topakdls but o eay more aby more each;lk timea'the greeenk sauceeea is where its aztts. the lasy yime i had one aklyj of each yayoc it was z to good.EDIT:This is the best drunk food stand. It's located in the same lot as THE LOT, the tacos are cheap 2 bucks a taco, decent sized, and filled with meat.My fav is the barbacoa, but I have had all of the flavors, in one drunken sitting. The service is fast and they know how to put up with drunks. The green spicy sauce is where it's at.Don't try to write a review while you're drunk."
"They only take cash! But this is a legit authentic taco spot!! Great prices and people there will help you translate if you don't speak Spanish.Very friendly patrons and people! And better food!!I love their green sauce and their quesadillas!!It's a yellow truck on Jones rd. It's Pretty hard to miss! Lol"
"We came here for a late night dinner. The service was nice. The speed was quick. The food was great, and great portions. Lots of parking in the front. The only downside is to bring cash to avoid added card tax."
"Excellent is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of this hole-in- the- wall establishment! All of the waitstaff are top- notch and eager to please. We came for the karaoke, but will return for the food! I have to agree that the puffy tacos are the bomb. I ordered the cheese enchilada plate and I have to say they were the best I've ever had. My boyfriend ordered 3 different puffy tacos and was so happy with his choice. He gave me a bite $ WOW! They are fantastic!I also ordered a Diet Coke with Fireball & 2 Strawberry Margaritas. They were very inexpensive and strong as hell! I like to consider myself a lady who always finishes my drinks, but it was so strong (and our ride home was long), I opted to not finish the 2nd margarita. I was afraid of being sick the next day!All of the waitstaff was on point and we never wanted for anything. They seem to enjoy working here!Even though it's over 30 minutes away, I will definitely return on karaoke nights to quench my craving of their fabulous food!"
"This is my to the point review:Jalapeño margarita is on point! The tequila is infused with jalapeño and you can taste it! Yum!Fish tacos - the fish is very fresh and seasoned well!! Came with all the usual suspects.. tomato, lettuce, onion & cheeseQueso - meh, not the best but not the worstChips & salsa - see response for quesoAs other have mentioned, there are way too many choices on the menu and I think I need to create a spreadsheet to break it down!Overall I enjoyed it and will he back if craving fish tacos."
"Eh, this place isn't great, but it isn't awful either.....it's more like, I'll only go if we happen to be in the area and want something somewhat quick. My family and I came here for dinner since my husband was craving pozole. It turns out by the time we had arrived, they had already sold out.I ended up ordering the chicken fajitas for one to split with my kiddo and my husband ended up ordering menudo. The fajitas weren't all that great...the chicken didn't taste fresh and majority of the hot plate consisted of onions and maybe a few slices of bell peppers. They also do not provide shredded cheese with the fajitas; that and some other "extras" will cost you. The plate did come with a tiny bit of sour cream, pico, guacamole, and rice. I tried spicing it up with the salsa that came with the chips, but it did no good. My husband liked the menudo, but said it definitely wasn't the best. The chips and salsa.....ugh the salsa appeared and tasted like it was super watered down. Such a disappointment as I love salsa! The chips were rather hard, so that made me doubt their freshness. The customer service is non-existent here as our drinks fell empty and not one server came to fill them up....the watery salsa ended up disappearing somehow and yet again, no one asked if we wanted more.My daughter needed to use the restroom and like always, I went with her. While the toilet area was clean, there were paper towels over flowing out of the trash can. There is only one restroom per gender, by the way, so there's no doubt that the entire female staff had seen this mess."
"I used to come here with my family when the place was smaller. As my kids have grown and we all have moved in different directions. My dad always asks where do you want to eat. I always pick this place. Here are some pics from our last meal. Everything was tasty. This place has expanded. So clean, family owned, and vibrant decor."
"We took a chance and walked over while my car was getting an oil change. So glad we did! Service was great and so was the food. They started us with tasty chips and warm salsa, which I didn't even know was my favorite! Charro beans were some of the best I have had. My friend's three enchilada plate had great fillings and sauces that I must admit made me jealous. Ruluis our server was great, even bringing us some secret Mexican hot sauce. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu."
"This taqueria is located inside the gas station and has a great variety of tacos. We enjoyed the breakfast tacos (ham and Mexican) on corn and flour tortillas. I would have to say this place is legit because some native Spanish speakers came in behind us and they said the tacos were delicious. Check it out if you're in the area!"
"I am hesitant to try Mexican restaurants because I am very choosy about them. I was convinced to give it a try and I was very impressed. Not only was the food very good, but the staff was exceptional. This will now be my go-to stop for Mexican when I'm in Victoria."
"Variety is The Spice of LifeWhich means I'm going to give a hole-in-wall Mexican place a chance. Clearly, there is No Ambiance. A few electric fans are ductapped to the frame holding up an awning next to the food truck. Music is the tune of trucks changing gears on the overpass.Dining attire is informal, but hard hats and fluorescent vests are encouraged.Food is mediocre and priced way above the quality."
"The food was so amazing, and well seasoned, the service was over the hills and outstanding! We didn't explore a lot of the restaurant but they had a upstairs dining as well. Perfect for a 32 birthday in August the Theme was picture perfect I could only imagine if they open up in Katy area. This is the perfect spot for kids before 6pm or 7pm and grown up time after 9pm. Applause from this Fathers Day!!"
"Ray's was referred to me by chance from a person I met in another restaurant. I sat next to a lady at happy hour at a restaurant that suggested Ray's. She said that they have some of the strongest margaritas and I should visit to check them out. So the next week I decide to visit to see if what she said was true. They are located on Mason Rd south of I-10near Cimarron Pkwy. I ordered the premium margarita and it did not disappoint. I started to feel it near the end of the 1st margarita. I still ordered a second and immediately I knew I should have not. I couldn't drink it while I was there and I decided to take it to go. She was correct and if you want a strong margarita , this is the place to visit."
"Let me say we went on a Friday around 7pm. I expected the place to be hopping and it wasn't really busy except at the bar area. We ordered a couple drinks and they were ok. Not amazing but not terrible. I found the salas to lack flavor. We ordered the chili con queso. It was ok. Not bad. It was melted cheese. Then we ordered the mini tacos and they came with very bland rice and beans that were ok. The tacos were ok. Overall, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing. I expected a place called Casa Tequila to have a more extensive tequila selection."
"A nice spot with good vibes and GREAT michelada selection. The prices were good for what we ordered (Para La Cruda and the Mangolada... and 6 jello shots) the hangover was DELICIOUS, and my wife said the Mangolada was damn good. The jello shots were bomb as hell and strong to boot, I'll definitely be back for more. It's close by and good as hell, highly recommend."
