"I love finding local spots that just have good food. One of the great things about this place is I don't have to fight traffic to go into town for Japanese good. This is a great place to just help that craving. Another great thing about this place is the variety of food they have. Outside of their sushi, they have a plethora of dishes for those who may not be the biggest sushi enthusiast but want to still join their friends. I went there for lunch and actually ordered the omurice which was quite delicious. The portion was huge and lasted me for 3 meals! I will notate that this is not the pocket egg omurice, but more of the flower/twister style for the egg. The rice was a bit stew-y which I love, but some may say it's a bit too much liquid. I also ordered the takoyaki as an appetizer which wasn't too bad. They also have bento boxes which our table ordered and that was a good deal as well since they give you a lot of protein. The service was pretty great. They were attentive and friendly. Overall they got our orders and food out in a timely manner. The atmosphere was also nice for lunch. There were people there but it didn't feel stuffy or too crowded. The noise level was appropriate as well. They also have an outside patio if it's a nice day and you want to sit outside. I also always appreciate their large parking lot, so you don't have to fight for a spot."
"BMP is a great place to hang out, especially for groups! I've done karaoke here a couple of times and have had a lot of fun. They have two karaoke rooms. I've only been in the larger one. I would estimate that it can accommodate about 10-15 people comfortably. They have an extensive song catalog which you can access via QR code. It's very easy and straightforward to use. The dining area is a moderate size and they have a nice patio out front. The staff has always been very friendly and attentive. They have reverse happy hour on Fridays after 9 pm.Drinks: Some of the cocktails that I've tried are the GQCucumber, the Red Panda, and the Sunset in Sulu. They also have mimosa and beer towers. On one visit, the server brought us a water tower which was so convenient for our large group.Food: The one dish that I've tried a few times and have consistently enjoyed is the Veggie Lumpia. The Brussels were too sweet and had way too much sauce. The Cucumber Salad is okay. It's tart and vinegar forward. It's not a salad, it's more like marinated sliced cucumbers. The Chickcharons aren't bad, but they are very greasy. Some pieces were a little too chewy for my preference. BMP shares a private lot with a few other businesses. There's a decent amount of parking and I've never had trouble getting a spot. There's also some street spots on 5th as well as Yale right in front of the shopping complex. BMP is a cool place with a cool vibe. I'm looking forward to coming back (and maybe trying an actual entrée)."

"Emptier than I would expect on a Friday night, which was good because no wait, but disappointing because this place should be packed. Delicious food on a huge menu at a decent price. The takoyaki was so hot that when I bit into it, the molten interior cooked the roof of my mouth enough the peel the skin AND I WOULD DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN BECAUSE IT WAS THAT DELICIOUS.This food was so fresh and delicious that I immediately planned ehat I would get upon returning. That menu is do enormous, you will have a hard time deciding what to get. Every dish killed. The spicy gobchan gui gui was incredible. I expected my teen daughter to be suspicious but one bit and she told me it was amazing.Houston, please show up. I loved Soju101."
"A couple of friends and I decided to meet for a few drinks/ apps on a Saturday afternoon of Memorial Day Weekend. Seating is covered/ indoors but the bar is open air so you really get the feel of being at a patio bar. The bartenders and servers were all very friendly and happy to make suggestions. When there, our group ordered a few Yuengling Beers, the Mimosa Carafe and some fried pickles. I loved that the mimosa carafe was actually served as a bottle of Prosecco on ice with a large cup of juice (your choice of juice) so you could pick your own juice/ champagne ratio. Also- it was on their Saturday specials menu so the price ($15) just couldn't be beat! The only thing I didn't love was the fried pickles. The pickles were served as thinly sliced pickle spears instead of chips so when you bit in, you ended up with the whole pickle and then a lot of breading left over. They tasted good but it wasn't great for execution. Overall, we had a good time here and would definitely visit again"
"I can't hang with the Gen Zer's. Lol. This karaoke spot has a Tues night reverse happy hour. Came after a birthday dinner to check it out. It was around 10pm and it was only a handful of people in there. There was a DJ playing so we got a drink and jammed for a little bit. Majority of the tables had reserved on them so it confused me a bit at first. Ya girl old. I was only going to stay out until 11 on a "work night". When we were getting ready to leave the DJ started making announcements that karaoke was about to start. A lot more people were there at that time. But I'm like y'all "about" to get started at 11!!? Don't y'all work tomorrow? Lol. The crowd seemed very young like 20s, maybe early 30s. Y'all got the energy, not me. I noticed the pieces of papers on the tables to select a song and hand it to the DJ to get in que. To my dismay they had a stipulation that you had to buy two drinks in order to even sign up for karaoke.I had ordered a side car which I don't think was on their happy hour special. It was $15 and it was just okay. It had way to much ice and not enough liquor. I was done after that and didn't want to order anything else."
"I'm not sure if the ownership changed with the name change but I had an excellent experience when I visited. The banchan and food were so good that my group kept asking for refills and ordered doubles of some entrees. The jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles) were my favorite! I always get nervous about saucy items being too salty but the jajang sauce was perfect. The food was accompanied by lots of drinks with my favorite being the made-in-house soju. Everyone at the table was raving about the soju and I practically begged the owner to consider bottling and selling. I legitimately would buy cases of this stuff if possible."

I usually order the spicy salmon without togarashi. It's a normal amount of spice without it. The cali roll and salmon/avocado rolls are good, too. I also think the spicy edamame is too spicy. It's hard to keep eating them after a few. Miso soup is, of course, good along with gyoza. Gyoza comes with spicy mayo. I have ordered handrolls from here and didnt liek them bc it was covered with salmon on top so there wasn't a good mix of rice and meat in each bite and it was a little gross eating that much raw salmon in each bite (they weren't cut up well). And the seaweed paper was soggy/wet so it didn't break up easily with each bite. I almost forgot the best thing.. the shrimp chips! Service is okay. They're not perfectly on top of things. I once put in an order online. We got there when it said it would be ready, and they said they didn't see the order but had it. So I had to wait in the parking lot for the food and I was hungry with a headache...

Let me try and get specific, ha.I came here for a bday party for 15 + on a Saturday night. We were in the karaoke room. But I also spent a little time at the bar as well. It was actually a pretty tight fit for our group. I wonder if they have larger rooms?Anyway, it was my first time Karoking, at an actual restaurant, and not a karoke designated spot or club. I have some thoughts about the layout, but I will focus on my experience.Service - Kevin was our server and host for the night. He came with good energy and a positive attitude. We were a rowdy bunch. He did his level best to keep our 4 to 5 different billing groups straight. There are no individual bills in the party room. Food - they had HRW 23 menu available, but I got too distracted with the singing to figure out what to order. So I ordered small. Lumpia Shangia was good, but portions were not ideal. I had a couple of bites of the chickcharon that wasn't bad.Drinks - I got the BMP Rita to start it was fair. Next, I got the Sunset in Sulu, and it was also not bad. Last, I got Thai shots for the bday boy and friends. It was just enough sweet to balance the liquor. I enjoyed it. Then the bosses of the place #Blessed us with a bottle of Champagne, so sweet! Cheers to us!Karaoke Room- had a large collection of songs, including explicit lyrics/language. Easy process to sign up for songs and keep the party engaged, with QR code and playlist online. The room felt too tight, but maybe our group size was over capacity? They placed 2 large tables and a plastic overlay to connect the 2 tables to make 1 long table. With chairs with zero space in between them surrounding the tables. Parking - they have a lot, not super big, but enough. Thanks for being so good to us that night, BMP!

This place has a fun vibe and our service was pretty good but the food was really not good. Food gets a 2/5. I ordered the following:101 wings: meat was dry, exterior was soggy, and the wings had no flavor whatsoever even though they were doused in what appeared to be some gochujang sauce.Army stew: this was so bland and just spicy. It didn't have the sourness that army stew should have so I feel like they used little kimchi and mainly used gochugaru and jalapeños. There was also tiny piece of spam and sausage. It was just so meh.Chapaghetti: this was honestly the best dish but it was just instant ramen noodles with the sauce that comes with it and some meat added in.

Local Houston sports bar known for their burgers. This location specifically is strategically located in the very lively part of white oak.Our group specifically came to catch the game - this place is perfect for that. There's TV's everywhere and the place is deceptively huge. They have daily specials, happy hour and reverse happy hour too.We ordered wings, nachos, and appetizer sampler. All we're very good. We've had the burgers in the past and those are very good as well. Our server was friendly, but she was hard to find at times maybe because it was a weekday with the Astros playing and she was the only one covering multiple tables but she did check on us every time she walked by - not necessarily a bad experience. Overall, if you're looking for a place to catch a game that also has great bar food definitely consider coming here.

Pretty decent establishment. Rated 4/5 only because of service. Maybe I'm just not fully aware of the ordering goes, however decent pricing for Wednesday's. My first time here I loved it back in July. This is my second time here and tonight was a complete 180. Unfortunately, my steak was cooked medium well when I ordered medium rare. However, imma still tear up my tomahawk. The rice side item was bland... I think their best side item was their mashed potatoes from way back. But it's okay. The vibes are always fun here and entertaining.

Good vibes and even better food! The soju crafts are bomb and there are so many flavors to choose from! I love the yogurt and lychee.Every dish here is delicious. The seafood pancake is super crispy and flavorful. The wings are perfectly sauced and delicious. And the spicy rice cakes are some of the best I've tried! The service is attentive and helpful. I visited during the soft opening and they've worked out some of the kinks on my second visit. The karaoke room is great for a large group! Come check out this new hot spot in K Town!

"Barbi likes to spend most of her nights the SCREW WAYBut I know one other thing that we love to DO WAYThere are other late night food spots, but here's the TRUE WAYGet yourself to Dun Huang, and eat a meal at NUWAY!I brought my gf here when her period was DUE WAYI looked down at her skirt, and I noticed a red HUE WAYI shoulda told her but I didn't, so she never KNEW WAYShe left bloodstains on the seat, but we both loved NUWAY!It's so good, it'll catch on faster than the FLU WAYIt tasted so yummy that my nether regions GREW WAYI found it so sexy, I dropped to my knees and BLEW BAEThat's TMI but IDC, just come and try NUWAY!If you wanna be a Playmate, this can be your HUGH WAYMy Generation might prefer the WHO WAYIf they were Shakespeare they'd be Taming Of The SHREW WAYHurry up and get your *ss directly to NEWAYThey started in the 00s, and since then they really GREW WAYOne meal's not enough in fact you should order TWO WAYTastes so good it makes me wanna eat from Barbie's SHOE WAYThere's no better Chinese food in Houston than at NEWAYDip your wings in it and you'll do it the BLEU WAYDon't swallow the food directly, first make sure you CHEW WAYIf I lived off the land, I'd do it the SIOUX WAYBut when I live off Chinese food, I do it the NEWAY!WHAT!One of the best late night restaurants in all of Houston. This is basically East Wall Restaurant but with the added bonus of being open very late. Unfortunately, unlike East Wall, they do not serve tap water, and they also have smaller portions, and it's also extremely cold in here throughout all the chilly months in Houston, of which there are a lot more than advertised. The temperature and water issue and portion size could be enough to lower the star rating but I won't - the food is too good, service is great, and the hours are perfect for us.But those factors are a shame because if these were not the case then we would eat here all the time, and one of the servers here is a true and great friend of ours and we love her. We talk pets with her all the time.We are a little sad that we can't come back here more because of those aphro mentioned problems - I mean aforementioned but whatever, google voice. So the food here is spectacular especially the flat noodles w chicken extra spicy, and the snow pea leaves extra spicy.Of course it's also a very imaginative karaoke place which is a great place to come and sing, which has rooms named after different parts of Houston and its suburbs. No money so I have to ScroungeLike me ever since I was YoungeAnd for Chinese FoodI don't mean to be rudeBut get your fat ass to Neway LoungeI basically have the same feelings for Neway that I feel for East Wall. One of Chinatown's best, with wonderful meals, perfect service, and one of our fave restaurants in Houston. We've been coming to Neway and East Wall for a year. Some of the best Chinese dishes, like Snow Pea Leaves with extra spice, and wonderful flat noodles w chicken, delicious and perfect. Their chili chicken is also good.NeWay is open later, with the same lovely servers and amazing dishes, a little bit more expensive, smaller portions, bottled water only. So we prefer EW.The employees here get 10/5 if that's possible. They're top notch, some of the nicest in Chinatown. I had a bad experience a long time ago (maybe different workers) but the current batch are wonderful.Easily scores 5, but I wish veggie portions were bigger, because they taste better than local rival in the same plaza FuFu, and for 50-70% as much food it's not filling, and harder for me to be a true regular patron. Also, milk tea, whom is one of the best cats in the world - a Siamese we found outside here as a baby, which led us to be regulars here. We love Milky so much! And of course, I recommend going to East Wall too, so here's a rap for East Wall:Ordered 20 dishes and damn it was quite the FEAST WALLI lift then I eat here, so they call me BEAST WALLEating here can be religious, so they call it PRIEST WALLMake so many funny raps about it, it's DECEASED WALLThey don't own the building, that's why it is LEASED WALLSince I stopped eating here nightly, my weight has DECREASED WALLBarbi doesn't douche enough, so they call her YEAST WALLHer taste's more explosive than conflict in the MIDEAST WALLFlavour controversial like OJ getting RELEASED WALLThought my D could not get bigger, but here it INCREASED WALLSo skip the peen enlargement pills, instead come to EAST WALLAlmost enjoy this as much as Donald being IMPEACHED WALLVoted for the Dems who handed racist Reps DEFEATS WALLHope that in 2 and 4 years the pattern then REPEATS WALLBarbi likes to pose here with her prissy shoes and FEETS WALLSometimes if she wears a crop top she shows off her TEATS WALLIf you want to taste the food that Barbi loves, try EAST WALLNot to be confused with how funny I am (Deceased Wall), my shirts (Creased Wall), or if you don't wash down south (Yeast Wall)."
"Place is great. Awesome bartenders, good people, and fun environment. It's like walking into Cheer's, a place to go where everybody knows your name. Weekends are very fun, but the true feel of this place is during the week when there's not really anyone there. Hang out at the bar and chat with strangers and bartenders. Wouldn't give this place up for anything...if I feel like drinking a few and having fun go to place...or if I feel like weeping in sorrows during the week, everyone there makes the day a little better. Hometown hidden treasure, a definite must go...and while you're there pick up the mic and sing some karaoke regardless of anything everyone still loves it: you can let loose and chill out."
"Finally Bellaire has gotten around to combining drink, food, and karaoke, with an acceptable ambiance, oh yeah. I was drooling over their menu which included many rare authentic Vietnamese dishes such as goat curry, fertilized duck eggs, and quail eggs. You don't usually see these types of dishes in a restaurant. Sadly, since I had dinner already, I chose the slightly healthier chicken salad. The key ingredients of my salad are chicken and Vietnamese coriander, one of my favorite herbs. The salad is then filled out with onions, red bell pepper, chili pepper, scallions, cilantro, chives, fried onions and crushed peanuts. It comes already tossed in vinaigrette, which consists of vinegar, sugar, and pepper. Cafe Window used the freshest ingredients in perfect ratios. The food takes a long time to prepare but you can pass the time drinking, watching sports on their many TVs, listening to music or karaoke if someone puts in a request. The wait can be enjoyable and is definitely worth it. They have the basic selection of beer, and a variety of liquor if that's what you prefer. Another thing that stands out about this little Vietnamese karaoke joint is the service. They are attentive and most of the staff speak English, well. They have as many English songs as Vietnamese. However their menu is only in Vietnamese and the patrons are of course, 99.9% Vietnamese. It would probably help to come with someone who knows the language if you don't yourself."
"I love it here. We start with the crispy egg rolls, so yummy! A must take your family/friends from out of town place! I had the Silom mojito and it was perfect!"
"Their wings are crispy and well seasoned. I personally didn't go too crazy over the jollof rice but my date keeps taking about the wings. Yall gotta get the wings"
"I would write down my Vinh number for you, but my Vinh's Long.As you can see this is a busy and fun restaurant located in Vietnamesetown to the west of Houston. There's so much great Vietnamese stuff out here and this is one of many that you should check out. It's locally owned and packed - largely because it's good."
