"Really fun place. Live music (JustUs tonight), pool tables, and very friendly clientele. You don't have to be a regular to be welcomed. This was my first trip and every one, patrons and staff, were open and inviting. Waitstaff was attentive and friendly. Only 4 stars because the guy behind the bar was clearly having trouble finding and cashing out out check. Thankfully the waitress gave him a hand and got us on our way. Overall all a great place to have a drink and cut loose. I will be back for sure."
"It's hard to beat 2 dollar well drinks for Ladies' night on Wednesday, they also have karaoke. It does have a neighborhood bar feel to it. Everyone seems to know everyone, but they all are quite nice. The karaoke had a decent selection and sometimes do double rounds which I hadn't really seen done before. All and all, I would probably go back."

"This is a small Vietnamese karaoke lounge / restaurant. They open around 4pm and go till 2am every day. The bar is a bit cramped but they have plenty of tables to sit at. If you do sit at the bar your back is to the stage. Have not tried much to any of the food but it looks very good. Drink options are limited to mainstream beer and cocktails. If they have wine its probably the same limited options. Better to come with a group than solo but it can be done either way. The music was insanely loud when I went at night during prime time. Literally, my friends water bottle vibrated off the bar. Not sure why it needs to be so loud for such a small place but it's annoying. Will probably give this place another couple tries and see what happens."
"Always a solid place to hang out on the weekend. No drama, good music, and good people. Oh and they don't charge you an arm and a leg for drinks! Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cool. Now if you don't like people smoking around you this is NOT the place for you. But if you don't mind then this is a cool hang out."
"Funny encounter my friends and I had here recently. As we were leaving, a random girl bumped into one of my friends, and did not apologize when she was called out. Instead, her group started verbally harassing us, and the ladies in our group couldn't help but to return fire. Note that the other group consist of 2 Caucasian males, 3 middle eastern chicks, and 1 Asian chick, while our group was a good 8 guys strong (all Asians). Throwing aside the fact that they were outnumbered, I was baffled that the ladies didn't give a F they were in CHINAtown while hurling racist insults at us lol. Agogo is much cleaner than Friend's or Yes KTV, with much better equipment. Benefit of it being a brand new establishment, and I hope they keep up the cleanliness. Rooms are spacious and the system is easy to use. Song selection is relatively up to date. Prices are pretty reasonable when you go with a large group and split the costs. If you purchase enough food and drinks, then it will pay for the room (I wouldn't really consider going to a place that doesn't have this option). Bottles are around $100, and if you can't finish them all, they are nice enough to hold it for you until the next time you come by. Downside is that they charge you $19 per person to sit in the general public area, even if you buy drinks and food. And they charge you for bringing boba in, even though we would purchase 3 bottles + food every time... Can't you just let us sing and enjoy boba at the same time??#215"
"We came here on a whim after visiting a local tap house. Parking was easy but beware of your vehicle. We witnessed a truck pull out sharp and tear a bumper off a vehicle keep going. I feel bad for whoever came out at closing. Bouncers were super friendly and helped set us up a game of corn hole. The place is massive and it is very easy to find a corner away from crowds like we wanted to do. Bartenders were not the friendliest but we got our drinks and the prices were really good compared to drinking inside the loop. They had an excellent live band and we enjoyed dancing the night away. I would definitely come back if in the area!"
"I had a good time here! Came here for a friend's birthday a while ago and we had a last minute room change because some friends could not make it anymore. They were very accommodating, and because there was a smaller room available, they let us change our reservation to that room last minute. Granted, this was around 9pm at night, which I believe is probably before the rush of people come in for karaoke. However, the smaller room they led us to only actually had one microphone working, so it was kind of a bummer. But then! They said the other small room had opened up and we could take it! So they heard our concerns and were looking out for us and moved us when possible! We had a great time and will come here again for more karaoke! This is a BYOB place (they charge corking fees though), which is great because we got to buy some drinks from the supermarket in the same plaza and just bring it over :) not sure if it needs to be said either, but parking here is great. This is located in a huge and poppin plaza so lots of parking areas. Actually the parking can fill up pretty quickly, but there are garages in the corners that always have open spots. This plaza has also been pretty safe - I have seen police cars patrolling the plaza.I'd recommend coming here to try karaoke if you'd like! I think coming earlier rather than later is probably why I had a good experience because they were not too busy yet."
"I've been here a few times now, and I've always received amazing service! I love that the owners are a brother/sister duo, and they are the sweetest. They've got great music, and the Bellinis are delish. I would definitely recommend checking out this laid back bar for a fun night with friends! Also, it is LGBTQ friendly so come enjoy a drag show with true royalty!"
"Finally Bellaire has gotten around to combining drink, food, and karaoke, with an acceptable ambiance, oh yeah. I was drooling over their menu which included many rare authentic Vietnamese dishes such as goat curry, fertilized duck eggs, and quail eggs. You don't usually see these types of dishes in a restaurant. Sadly, since I had dinner already, I chose the slightly healthier chicken salad. The key ingredients of my salad are chicken and Vietnamese coriander, one of my favorite herbs. The salad is then filled out with onions, red bell pepper, chili pepper, scallions, cilantro, chives, fried onions and crushed peanuts. It comes already tossed in vinaigrette, which consists of vinegar, sugar, and pepper. Cafe Window used the freshest ingredients in perfect ratios. The food takes a long time to prepare but you can pass the time drinking, watching sports on their many TVs, listening to music or karaoke if someone puts in a request. The wait can be enjoyable and is definitely worth it. They have the basic selection of beer, and a variety of liquor if that's what you prefer. Another thing that stands out about this little Vietnamese karaoke joint is the service. They are attentive and most of the staff speak English, well. They have as many English songs as Vietnamese. However their menu is only in Vietnamese and the patrons are of course, 99.9% Vietnamese. It would probably help to come with someone who knows the language if you don't yourself."
"What is not to like about here? It's a neighborhood bar where you have a variety of people coming in and enjoying the brew and atmosphere. During crawfish season on Sunday's you can enjoy their $20 all you can eat so the next time around you'll want to bookmark this place and try it. It's a little dark in here but enough lighting to see who you might bump into, the people are friendly, the staff and owners are friendlier and the prices on the drinks are friendlinest. Parking shouldn't be a problem here even though it shares a parking lot with multiple businesses, least I've never had a problem on the Sundays I've visited. There is a little patio towards the back where you can mingle and smoke with your partners. Have a nice day!"
"Defiantly a Dive bar . Great games and jukebox , dance floor small . Could defiantly make the drinks stronger . But you get what you pay for. Local bar"
"Place is great. Awesome bartenders, good people, and fun environment. It's like walking into Cheer's, a place to go where everybody knows your name. Weekends are very fun, but the true feel of this place is during the week when there's not really anyone there. Hang out at the bar and chat with strangers and bartenders. Wouldn't give this place up for anything...if I feel like drinking a few and having fun go to place...or if I feel like weeping in sorrows during the week, everyone there makes the day a little better. Hometown hidden treasure, a definite must go...and while you're there pick up the mic and sing some karaoke regardless of anything everyone still loves it: you can let loose and chill out."

This is my second time here. My gf loves this place especially their crawfish. Its very clean and lots garlic. But too bad they already running out today. Bummer. We ordered some grilles shrimp. They are huge! And they came in 10 pieces. Its not dry and its very fresh. Shrimp salad is a very popular Vietnamese dish and i really love the ingredient they have in it. The baby lotus stem is very healthy and extremely tasty. We also tried the goat steak. Tender and juicy. Its really cheap for its price. Highly recommended for traditional Vietnamese food lover.

From what the staff told me, this club has been here for I believe they said 30+ years. The first thing I noticed that this was maybe one of the first clubs that was very clean and well-maintained. The crowd was a bit older, probably in their 50s and 60s, and everybody was very respectful. They served food, the drinks were fairly priced, and there was plenty of seating for everyone. The only thing I didn't really like is the smoking inside of the club. I'm not a big fan of indoor smoking let alone secondhand smoking.

I can only speak for the karaoke room. Rest room with extensive song selection. The ambiance is okay. The room itself is plain but if you're there to sing music, it hits all the right notes. You can also connect to YouTube and play karaoke with lyrics to sing along to if you're unable to find the song you want to sing in their song menu. Not sure how the food is but prices are steep. Actual karaoke room is not bad in pricing.I can't speak about service either.

I absolutely love this place! Every time I go the owners are so exceptionally helpful and just all-around cool.Bareback has darts ,a pool table , corn hole and other fun games to play with friends. The outside patio area is exceptional there is a fire pit and a huge viewing screen. It also has an outside bar area and bathrooms. The bathrooms are always in great clean condition!Bareback has a whole Lotta seating and also a lot of area just to hang out and have a good time with friends. In the summertime it opens up and there's a nice breeze going through. Because of the openness of beer back you're able to smoke inside and it doesn't matter because you can't even smell it at all the wind and breeze goes through and it's not a problem for anybody. In the winter time the bar has a bad ass heating system and even winter wimps like me Are comfortable.Bareback often has live music and dancing it's just an all-around bad ass place to hang out I absolutely love it!And did I mention the owner is always doing charitable events and things to help our community I love that! And his wife is hot! ;-)

This is a really neat spot for karaoking if you have a group.. the only thing I would have to complain about is the smell and odor of this place. It was very overwhelming when we first got there but died down right before we left. Really cool idea for an intimate party though!

"Not to be confused with Benji Japanese Restaurant which is owned by Benji Madden of Good Charlotte, unfortunately. Which is more like Bad Charlotte anyway if you think about it, and with hindsight. For the food, maybe 3 stars, a few items are good, most are okay or not great. Prices are about what you'd expect from Japanese bar food. However, this place is one of the better places in town to go for Karaoke. Not cheap (otherwise I'd give 5 stars) but a hell of a lot of fun and still one of the best in Westchase for Karaoke, as good as some of the better Chinatown Karaoke spots.Lifestyles of the rich and the famousThey're always complaining(about the lack of Japanese Karaoke bars)If that is such a problemWell, they've got mansionsI think we should rob themAnd then go to Genji to celebrate"
"Today was grand opening so we decide to stop by and grab some Korean food. The place was very roomy and spacious . It is sorta loud but it's to be expected because it's a karaoke place. I ordered several dishes. I was a bit disappointed with the corn cheese. It just look like they pours can corn on the hot plate and added cheese on top . The cheese wasn't even broiled on top so it kinda just came out 1 big blob when I scooped it up. There was lots of water from the canned corn on the platter too. I highly recommend they drain it completely before placing it on the hot platter. The spicy fried chicken was very flavorful and delicious. I like this the best. It wasn't really spicy more like tasty and sweet. I give it a 1 on spice level. We tried the grilled eel which was meh. There wasn't much meat of the eel and the onions, scallions and ginger took away from all the flavor of eel. Service was good, just push the button and they come to you within 30 seconds. Overall this a fun place to be, I would recommend getting a room to sing karaoke and grabbing some delicious wings."
"Everyone I bring here looooooves this place. The rooms are clean and spacious -- and best of all, they're private! That really helps bring out the people who act shy at first, but 30 minutes in (and a couple of shots of soju) you'll see them belting out their favorite jam while shaking their hips and grinding. The last time we were here, there was a group (most likely celebrating a birthday) that was invading other rooms to sing with them, and they came just as we were jamming to "New York" by Jay-Z. We returned the favor later on by barging in during the chorus for "Let It Go" from Frozen. Fun times!Speaking of soju, they have several flavors to choose from and my favorite is definitely the strawberry. The lemon was good too, and the kiwi was probably the least liked (except that it seemed to have the strongest alcohol kick of all of them). They also have several beers (both domestic and Asian) and some liquor if that's more your style. I definitely prefer Ziller's soju service over the BYOB service at the Chinatown karaoke bars, but it really depends on your preferences. All in all, whenever someone suggests we have a karaoke party, Ziller is definitely my go-to for a fun time."
"The logistics of entry/exit could use some work. If you park in the garage (there isn't anywhere else, they took away street parking in that area a while ago), you can enter through the movie theatre. Some of the doors to the elevator were locked, but I'm not sure if that was random, but we had to take the stairwell to the 1st floor of the movie theatre. We left close to closing time and were not able to exit the same way, so we had to walk outside.I was disappointed the golf was not electronic like Puttshack, so we decided not to play. We did order drinks and chilled in the bar area for a couple of hours. They have a few table games which kept us entertained. The service at the bar was super friendly and pleasant. They have an elaborate drink menu with fun cups, but we stuck to a basic paloma and margarita. The water cups are branded, which was a nice touch. The decor and the courses were beautiful and very eye-catching. There are also karaoke rooms of a decent size."
"You know there are those rare moments that you find a place that although may be lacking in some things, but they make it up for others. This is one of those places. I first discovered this place months ago simply by driving by. However after browsing online to find more information about it I decided not to give it a try because it wasn't a non smoking bar. After all, I'm not a smoker so why should I smell like one just by visiting a place. Nevertheless months later in search for a spot that does Karaoke on a Saturday night my Google results listed this place as a candidate. So I made the sacrifice to give it a visit on a Tuesday night to take one for the non smoking team. (They have Karaoke on Tuesday and Saturdays). What I discovered can be summed up in one word. Hospitality. We started off with the most popular drink in America. The Margarita. They had the frozen machine but they didn't have it running so they made one from scratch. ( It was aweful. The bartender immediately took it and made another. It too was aweful. He waited as we tried it again and didn't want to leave us drinking something that wasn't good. So he explained what he used and asked us to give him another try. We did. And the later was perfect. He explained it was due to him making a skinny rita vs the standard. For the remaining of the night he made them consistently good. Let's be clear. This place serves no food. It is a dive bar with amazing hospitality. We met the 2 owners and the manager. Both were courteous and very welcoming. Both wanted us to know that it was their intention to make sure everyone that walks in that door has fun. At 9 the Karaoke DJ began the show with a great sound system, lighting and costumes. They have a stage for you to perform on and some stage lighting as well. Quickly the list of singers started coming in from nowhere. It was a great fun night and after I left I did not have as much smokiness smell that I thought I would. This is perhaps due to the large smoke filters they have. I was told that they have been considering doing away with smoking altogether. I sincerely wish they would. To sum I would recommend this place for a good night of Karaoke. Don't expect a huge place with lots of seating cause like I said it's a dive. They clearly can use more seating. They have food vendors that come by late at night with some tasty tamales or beef jerky but there is also a Chinese restaurant next door that I think close at 10. I don't know if you can bring food in or not but I can't imagine why not since they don't serve food. It's a bar so of course they have beer. The prices are pretty decent and they seem to tend to make other mixed drinks based on your personal taste. Finally Cypress we have a good Saturday night Karaoke spot. Sing well and prosper."
"I would write down my Vinh number for you, but my Vinh's Long.As you can see this is a busy and fun restaurant located in Vietnamesetown to the west of Houston. There's so much great Vietnamese stuff out here and this is one of many that you should check out. It's locally owned and packed - largely because it's good."
"I read about this gem in The Houston Press and had to check it out. It's a cute and quaint bar frequented by regulars who have been coming here for many years. This place is so unassuming because it's located in a sketchy neighborhood. We started with an ice cold Corona served by the friendly bartender, Kara, with a K. We met a new friend named Jojo who has been coming here for years and gave us the low down about the bar. This is Houston's best kept secret. When the Astros play, they serve $2 hamburgers, we got 3, they were homemade and so delicious! We also had the Monte Cristo sandwich and it was amazing. We had so much fun visiting this bar and plan on coming back. The ambiance was lively, lots of people talking, laughing and having fun. They have pool tables and games that you can enjoy. We definitely plan on coming back!"
"How I knew nothing of this establishment is beyond me!! Me...the lover of all things karaoke ! It is nestled within the parking lot of an unassuming shopping strip. Located right next door to a crab joint, this place houses rooms filled with fun...karaoke rooms. A friend of mine decided to host a party and rented one of the rooms, but a purveyor of karaoke may feel inclined to remain in the gen ad area. The music in the main space was decent so why not. The room we were in was spacious, housed plenty of seating, and had a private karaoke stage. The drinks left no impression whatsoever but the service was ok. I cannot comment on the food, as you are able to bring in your own, which the hostess did. I will be returning, however, I will not be indulging in any mixed cocktails as they were not worth their steep price tag."
"Emptier than I would expect on a Friday night, which was good because no wait, but disappointing because this place should be packed. Delicious food on a huge menu at a decent price. The takoyaki was so hot that when I bit into it, the molten interior cooked the roof of my mouth enough the peel the skin AND I WOULD DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN BECAUSE IT WAS THAT DELICIOUS.This food was so fresh and delicious that I immediately planned ehat I would get upon returning. That menu is do enormous, you will have a hard time deciding what to get. Every dish killed. The spicy gobchan gui gui was incredible. I expected my teen daughter to be suspicious but one bit and she told me it was amazing.Houston, please show up. I loved Soju101."
"Nice clean bar located in the Montrose area, it's a chill environment to relax and grab a couple of drinks. If you don't want to be inside there's also an outside patio to hang out. They also have food if you're hungry, and considering it's bar food; it's not too shabby. They have good music to jam to & there's also karaoke night as well. The music tends to get extremely loud at night when they have a DJ so if you don't really like loud music then come during the day time where it's quiet & chill. Overall, great vibes, amazing staff & drinks are strong. Will I come back? Of course.Tip: come Wednesday for Steak night, yum yum yum."
"Got lamb, beef, and chicken kabobs! They have happy hour 4-6pm for $1 lamb kabobs and they're really good! However, they all have the same spice and taste. The abalone wasn't worth it because they are very small. There are complimentary edamame, peanuts, and sunflower seeds on the paper plates. You may order everything from your phone by scanning the QR code at the table. There's also a karaoke stage where you can sing if you want."
"BMP is a great place to hang out, especially for groups! I've done karaoke here a couple of times and have had a lot of fun. They have two karaoke rooms. I've only been in the larger one. I would estimate that it can accommodate about 10-15 people comfortably. They have an extensive song catalog which you can access via QR code. It's very easy and straightforward to use. The dining area is a moderate size and they have a nice patio out front. The staff has always been very friendly and attentive. They have reverse happy hour on Fridays after 9 pm.Drinks: Some of the cocktails that I've tried are the GQCucumber, the Red Panda, and the Sunset in Sulu. They also have mimosa and beer towers. On one visit, the server brought us a water tower which was so convenient for our large group.Food: The one dish that I've tried a few times and have consistently enjoyed is the Veggie Lumpia. The Brussels were too sweet and had way too much sauce. The Cucumber Salad is okay. It's tart and vinegar forward. It's not a salad, it's more like marinated sliced cucumbers. The Chickcharons aren't bad, but they are very greasy. Some pieces were a little too chewy for my preference. BMP shares a private lot with a few other businesses. There's a decent amount of parking and I've never had trouble getting a spot. There's also some street spots on 5th as well as Yale right in front of the shopping complex. BMP is a cool place with a cool vibe. I'm looking forward to coming back (and maybe trying an actual entrée)."
"I liked this place. I'm not a beer drinker, but they did have Lime A Rita's for me, small bottles of wine for others and beer for everyone else. You can bring in a bottle of (whiskey, rum, etc.) and they will sell you the mixers. Like another reviewer, they will charge you a dollar for an extra cup of ice. This really doesn't bother me too much. Their beer was ice cold, says my brother. They give you a koozie to use while you are at the bar. No credit cards accepted but there's an ATM in the bar. We sat at the bar and celebrated my sisters fourth 29th birthday. Immediately "Mr. G." bought us three a round. Of course he was a local and was very nice, not overly friendly, just a good old boy sitting at the end of the bar. There was a birthday party in the pool room. They had brought their own food, etc. and it looked like a fun, local, regulars type people. No creepy people here - no extremely young people, so it's not a meat market. No scummy people or loud talkers, no smelly alcoholic types either. There's a sign over the bar that says WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE. Age 35 and up, I'd say. VERY VERY clean bar, VERY clean bathroom. Domino players inside and out. Two or three pool tables. Cards. Karaoke starts at 8 PM. Beverly the owner is very friendly, not off putting at all. Other bartenders nice as well. They took the time to talk to their patrons unlike some other places, everyone treated us like they wanted us to come back. I like this place, and I will definitely be back."
"If I ever wanna run into one of my ex-boyfriends from Thornton Junior High or that one kid that smelled like syrup from elementary school (I'll spare names here), I know I'll find them at Sharky's.For the folks who grew up in the Cy-Fair area, this is the stomping grounds to graduates of LC, Cy-Springs, Katy, and maybe a bit of Cy-Falls. I'm surprised that I'm giving it three stars, but being that there aren't many places with a dance floor in that area (please don't say 'Hush,' people), when I'm on this side of town with old friends, we always go to Sharky's.Weekdays, it's your typical sports bar: happy hour, pool tables, crack machines, etc. Weekends, however, it's basically a club. Live music, a stage, live dj, a newly built catwalk for drunk chicks to climb on and let loose (emphasis on the 'loose'), bottle service...You'll find cover charge on Friday night (live music) and on Saturday (live dj); karaoke is on Thursday, Drinks are kinda pricey, considering you're not in the big city; bartenders are somewhat fast/attentive if you get to know them. BTW, you can smoke here, so don't forget the gerts!Basically, if you're in the area, next to Moe's, I always choose Sharky's."
"This place is located above the Scout Bar and is a great option for bar food, beer and cocktails. They also have pool tables, video games and a dance floor, so there is simply no way you can get bored here. We did not partake of the food, but the drinks are good.Decor reminds me of Scout Bar."
"Room, lighting and atmosphere is IMMACULATE! Service is amazing and attentive! BEST PLACE for KARAOKE!"
"I've always had a good time here with friends and colleagues after a long day of work! Remote is in Korean, so it's def helpful if you have some help or familiar with Hangul. Once you know how to navigate, you just have to explore. Food and snacks are pretty good. I appreciate having privacy of rooms and bathroom so you're not always having to open the door to go out. The last time I went, Lily helped us, and she was super cheerful :)) In the past, we had pitchers of water provided, so idk if it's complementary when there's a big group versus having to pay for water bottles when a smaller group. Lastly, someone said there's no BTS, but they actually have a large BTS selection inclusive of Korean and Japanese. They've already listed some new releases, but I'm hoping they're ready the next time my friends and I go!"
"I've only been here twice for short periods of time but I liked it! It's a lot bigger than it looks - there are several inside areas as well as an outdoor area. I've only gotten mocktails here but they're super yummy and super cheap! I hope I can come back again when I don't have to leave super fats so I can try an actual drink. My friends say they're great!"
"I love finding local spots that just have good food. One of the great things about this place is I don't have to fight traffic to go into town for Japanese good. This is a great place to just help that craving. Another great thing about this place is the variety of food they have. Outside of their sushi, they have a plethora of dishes for those who may not be the biggest sushi enthusiast but want to still join their friends. I went there for lunch and actually ordered the omurice which was quite delicious. The portion was huge and lasted me for 3 meals! I will notate that this is not the pocket egg omurice, but more of the flower/twister style for the egg. The rice was a bit stew-y which I love, but some may say it's a bit too much liquid. I also ordered the takoyaki as an appetizer which wasn't too bad. They also have bento boxes which our table ordered and that was a good deal as well since they give you a lot of protein. The service was pretty great. They were attentive and friendly. Overall they got our orders and food out in a timely manner. The atmosphere was also nice for lunch. There were people there but it didn't feel stuffy or too crowded. The noise level was appropriate as well. They also have an outside patio if it's a nice day and you want to sit outside. I also always appreciate their large parking lot, so you don't have to fight for a spot."
