"Excellence at its best! People who know me know that I loves me some seafood. Boiled Crawfish is my first love, Shrimp, and then Chargrilled Oysters. Since I visited Neyows in New Orleans some years ago, I'm hooked. I used to frequently go to the Rouxpour Sugarland location, and I loved it until I just got tired of all of their food and drink inconsistencies amongst other changes over the years. I divorced them in April of 2023. Enough about that location. Memorial City is the location that I patronize now! I usually order the same items, which are the dozen Oyster's Bienville, a cup of Seafood Gumbo, and the delectable Crabcake. I have yet to be disappointed about the food or the service that I receive there. I would like to shout out two of their servers- Sebastian C and Allen V. Their service was empathetic, and they definitely went the extra mile to satisfy our appetites."

Pickup was quick, and food was ready in the timeframe quoted on the phone. The food was delicious. Flavors did not disappoint. Personally I would have like a bit more meat in the Bibimbap, but it doesn't take away from the fact that it was an enjoyable meal. Inside there are a few seated area, and it was clean. It's not located in the best area of town, and you can tell they've had some security concerns since there was a police officer camped out inside - never a good sign. The food itself was pretty good. I got the cajun boiled shrimp, and the cajun fries. They asked how I wanted the shrimp - mild, hot, extra hot, etc - and I chose hot. The 'hot' was very hot, and I don't want to know how spicy the extra hot would have been. It had a good flavor, but it was almost too hot to be enjoyable. The cajun fries were excellent though, and I really enjoyed them. I wish all fries were seasoned like those.Overall, I would come back since the food was good, but I'd get my food to go next time, or delivered to me."

Given the short notice, we didn't have high expectations for Mamarita's being able to accommodate us, but they did. Not only that, the service and food were remarkable. Food: I had queso and Enchiladas De Crema. The group shared Beef, Chicken & Shrimp Fajitas. Good portion sizes and very tasty. Price: Reasonable and on par with similar restaurants. Was it the most amazing poke bowl I've ever had? No, but it hit the spot with what I was looking for.I also added Gyoza to my order and thought those were very good, as was the mango boba tea, which seemed to be made from real mango, rather than just artificial flavoring. Also, I'll add that the person working here could not have been more friendly and welcoming!The biggest gripe for us was that the plastic spork was really not great for poke consumption. It was just a bit too flimsy to really get much substance when diving in to a jam packed bowl of goodness. This would easily be solved with an upgrade to the plastic cutlery, so not a big problem to overcome.Next time: sushi burritos will be had."

I search for new places to eat for lunch and Kay's pop up so I had to go try, its a family run business in a small plaza near old humble off of business fm1960.this is a good spot if you want to get a good sandwich for lunch, I had to try their best seller which is the Philly cheese steak sandwich and it was bomb lots of flavor good amount of cheese and steak ratio on a toasted hero bread would definitely get this sandwich again, also i ordered the grilled cheese and grilled chicken sandwich both were excellent choices as well. the grilled cheese is what you expect it to be cheesy, buttery, and crunchy and it was simple but really good, and the grilled chicken sandwich was awesome as well.they have since up dated the place and the family that runs it are very nice and friendly kind people and they give you great service, I would definitely come back for lunch if I'm in the area. () The potato was good and the chopped brisket was just ok. Not much flavor to it. I ordered a coleslaw and it was not to my liking but my husband said it was different but good. My husband's side choice was fried okra. He said the okra was tasty and not greasy. He would order it again. Now let's talk about the desserts!(I can't believe I forgot to take a photo of them.) I ordered a peach cobbler and a key lime pie. I really liked the cobbler but the show stopper was the key lime pie. O M G--it was the best key lime pie I have EVER had anywhere!!!! My husband agrees! I would try the bbq again, and I will definitely be back for the desserts! ...I wonder if they sell a whole key lime pie? I would love one for Thanksgiving."

"5 out 5 stars! Rocio's bakery was very quick to respond, very professional and the cakes are high quality. I was looking for a small birthday cake for my son's 1st birthday . I was on a budget but wanted something more than a boring store bought cake but less than those super fancy cakes. Rocio was super helpful in trying to work with what the end vision was of the cake. Super happy with how it turned out. The cake was moist and the Bluey theme was excellent. Character cut outs was a nice touch and even my son's name in letters was unique and so professional looking.I'll definitely be back. Try Rocio's bakery out for your next occasion. "I really enjoy this newish casual bar. With great happy hour and daily specials, great bar food, plus a roomy outdoor patio, this place makes a great stop for the evening.I've been here a couple times now for weekday happy hour and chilling with friends. This place doesn't really get crowded then, which is fine by me. They do offer a limited menu serving up some classic bar food including burgers, wings, nachos, etc. My last visit was on a Wednesday, when they were offering a daily special of six wings for six dollars. I chose the buffalo lemon pepper flavor, and man were they tasty and good sized! I also loved that they offered guava cider on tap, which is not something you find often. The patio is my favorite feature though. There's a covered space with barstools and mostly not covered space available. At night, the glow of string lights illuminate the patio space in a nice pinkish hue. Another feature I love is the TouchTunes jukebox, which one can easily use digitally by downloading the app.Definitely will be returning! They advertise having a dj on the weekend."

There was no cell service, so our hot spot wasn't working on our iPad. When you have a toddler, an iPad is a necessity to enjoy a peaceful meal. And unfortunately, there was an incredibly impatient and irritable diner that was loudly voicing his displeasure with our child's whining. This resulted in us abruptly leaving before we even ordered our meals.Fast forward to visit #2: we went without the kiddo and had the complete opposite experience.Both of us were eyeing the chicken parmesan and we came very close to just ordering two of them. But while I was scrolling through photos, I came across one that looked incredibly appealing. It was not captioned, so I showed a photo to the waiter and asked what it was. He wasn't sure, but called someone else over, who said that it was called "Veal Messina". It wasn't on the menu but it was something they could make. While I had no idea what to expect, I took the risk and went for that.I'm so glad I did because it was amazing. The only downside is that it was incredibly heavy and creamy, so I couldn't finish my plate (a shockingly rare occurrence for me), but the flavor was amazing. It was almost like eating pasta with syrup, it was so rich. The wife's chicken parm was also great, as was everything else: the bread, the salad, the service and everything about the experience. I'm so glad we came back here and we will definitely return in the future... without a child!"

"Could you ask more of a bar and grill... I guess, but it doesn't exist. Firstly, I'm not a big sports guy but if you are, you're gonna love this place. Without even rotating my neck, I can see six games playing. I was ecstatic when I saw the menu, it's not overly done. It basically has all time favorites but everything is beautiful from a burger to a ribeye, as well as specialties. Prices are reasonable, especially for the quality of food served. I met the owner while I was here and he seems like an amazing dude. A true restauranteur, and it shows. Service was impeccable. As far as I'm concerned, there's no competition in the area, not even close."

"Not to be confused with Cafe Narwal which is owned by, obviously, a Narwhal, not a human.It's definitely a lovely little cafe with delicious Middle Eastern food and Mediterranean food, but the problem for me personally is that you can always smell hookah in and around this place. And that's a shame for me personally because I would come here just for the food, but I can't stand any kind of smoke, and any place in Texas - especially Houston and Dallas - serving Middle Eastern food is most likely going to have that smell permeating the air. It would get 5 stars if not for that."

"I'm not usually a fan of yogurt drinks, so you know that means if I think a yogurt drink deserves 5 stars, it must be AMAZING (and it is).We stopped by this shop after grocery shopping at Jusgo (it's one of the many restaurants inside the Jusgo supermarket, directly faces the cash registers). I was initially skeptical, but I'm so glad we gave it a shot! Their classic is the Yomie Purple Rice Yogurt, and if you love purple rice drinks, you will looooove this drink. The yogurt flavor isn't too strong, which is my usual complaint. I've also tried and would highly recommend the mango pomelo sago yogurt or the pink fleshy peach fruit yogurt. I get both with less sugar. There are a few benches and tables if you want to drink at the shop, but we usually just get it to go since we're on the way home with that week's groceries."

The honey butter they come with is delectable. The mozz sticks are standard, I would go for a different appetizer next time! The shrimp tacos were REALLY good I was highly impressed with the blackened style & creamy sauce they came with. I opted for their delicious rice and veggies and it was awesome. "We were here around 4pm for a bite to eat and a drink before going to the horse races. We were warmly greeted and Carrie, the bartender, was very attentive and made suggestions. They have an AMI jukebox, which is getting harder and harder to find. I asked for an amended sampler appetizer platter and they accomodated my weirdness. The mini corndogs, eggrolls, fried pickles, and mozzarella bites were good. The mozzarella bites had more cheese in them than any fried cheese thing I've encountered in a while. They have Yuengling, which is a bonus for us. We were staying at the Fairfield Inn very close, which made it very convenient. If we go to Sam Houston Park again, we would return. one note... Yelp showed it really close to our hotel at first, but on my phone and my mom's phone, when we clicked for directions, it took both of our phones to different locations much farther away... it really is very close, same side of the freeway as the hotel across the street, but you have to go do a U turn."

I would definitely eat this one there in the food truck park, as it can get soggy quick. Another sandwich, the Bocados Chicken (hold the bacon) was a blend of their Venezuelan rum sauce and house made sauce on lettuce and tomatoes and a grilled chicken. Yohhhm! Don't forget, crispy thin fries accommodate these packed sandwiches. I was not able to try their specialty churros, but would absolutely love to next time. I'm a churroholic!
