"AMAZING CAKES AND COOKIES! We have been searching all over town for cake that was not only moist, but carried both classic and unique flavors. This place is it!!! The chubby chocolate chip cookie is also worth mentioning! Highly recommend:- chubby chocolate chip cookie- chocolate cake- blueberry lemon cake- strawberry & cream cake- summer paradise cake [passion fruit]- giant wonderland chocolate cake We also were able to quickly order a whole cake for a birthday dinner that night that they were able to provide immediately. They also decorated it, which we didn't expect. It was a huge hit with all the girls! Will be returning soon to try other flavors!"
"I prefer to order online for pick up. It's located in the HEB shopping plaza with plenty of parking. This place is more of grab and go. I always get the 4-pack which you can select 4 cookies of your choice. I like that every week they have different flavors. The cookies are not your normal size cookies. The texture of the cookies are soft exactly how I like my cookies. These are more shareable size and would be good to bring to parties. I always like to see what flavors they have every week."
"Another happy visit to here, post COVID now. So many good options so it always takes me some time to decide. Also, all of them good, so forgot to take a picture and just gorged on them I did take a pic of the inside menu just Incase anything's changes. This time I had:Spring fling smoothie bowl - excellent flavor of mango with everything elseSmoke salmon Panini : Felt quite fresh and everything nicely complimented Togather. For partner we took Togo : Texas heat chocolate smoothie bowl and the Gluten free veggie sandwich"
"Good food from nice people in simple surroundings just off 59 north between Galeria and Medical Center. French fries are the best in Houston. The beef, rice and French fries plate, Lomo Saltado, I got a taste for during my last trip to Peru, is delicious and filling. Would have been better with a hearty red wine ;) but no alcohol sold here.Service is great. This is not fast food as each plate is made to order from fresh ingredients. The restaurant is clean and basic. Usually soccer on the small TVs. Family place where folks get together and enjoy home style Peru meals. They also sell lots of the tienda items you would get in Peru."
"Came in on a Saturday even to find the restaurant empty. Our server Latrice was awesome and of course the food came out fresh and hot . Service was friendly and fast and I think I may go back again when they aren't as busy."
"I came here to pick up a Caesar salad on a Tuesday night and there were not many people inside. The inside is way bigger than it looks on the outside and they had many big screen TVs around the bar. It was a couple of minutes before I saw a bartender to place my order. The $8 Caesar salad was fresh with good dressing.....| \ _ , , , - - , , _ , .../ , ` . - ' ` ' . _ \ - ; ; ; , _ ..| , a - ) ) _ . ; . ( ` - ` - ' - ' ' - - - ' ' ( _ / . _ ) - ' ( _ \ _ ) 2020"
"Como siempre......Todo muy ricoy la atemcion de primera. Ambiente super festivo. Esta vezpedi caarones al ajillo."
"Great food and service most of the time! Most of the pho dishes are good, the Vietnamese eggrolls and spring rolls are great. Refills of tea and water are slow or nonexistent. The owner and son are really friendly. It is a must eat except on Sundays from 12-3 when church lets out."
"This was a nice surprise. We went on Saturday around 3ish and were lucky enough to score a table. The place is small so space is limited. They seem to be constantly busy. When you walk in, go to the right to place order. We got the family pack and a mofongo to share. The family pack comes with 1/2 gallon of rice, 2 proteins, plantain and 4 canned sodas.Did not get a picture of everything. The 1/2 gallon of rice was huge. Our two proteins were the bbq boneless pork and the garlic chicken. The mofongo was disappointing. The rest of the food was awesome. There was plenty of food for seconds and to take leftovers home. We'll be back. Maybe not to eat there but most definitely to go."
"I love this place and try to come whenever I am in the area! They have a little of everything - bubble tea, sandwiches, pastries, desserts - so it's a great place for a snack or meal.If it's meal time, I almost always get a banh mi sandwiches (the bread is toasty and crunchy on the outside but so soft on the inside, the jimaca and veggies inside are tasty with some sort of seasoning or marinade on them, meat is also seasoned well). They are kid-friendly as well if you order them without the jalapenos (and maybe without veggies if they are super picky). Most recently, my five-year-old devoured half an adult-size sandwich on his own, and they are pretty generous-size sandwiches."

Visit Restaurant Page"We love the fajitas here, especially the lunch special which is a better value. Lunch doesn't come with guac or cheese though. I really like that their fajitas come with zucchini and yellow squash instead of your typical bell peppers. It's a good different. They also have some delicious chunky potato salad that they always give with their fajitas. Today we got the sweetheart special with appetizer, fajitas for 2 including shrimp, beef, and chicken, and cheesecake sopapillas for $50. We figured since we were going to order fajitas anyways, we might as well do this! I expected the portion size of fajitas to be a bit larger though and we had to ask for more tortillas. The sopapillas were light (very thin dough) with some cheesecake filling. It was a good combo but probably wouldn't order it again. The corn appetizer was spot on and the empanada was small but crispy and probably could have used a bit more filling, but still tasty. Overall, we left with our fajita craving satisfied!"
"Chic little lounge (literally) tucked away in Katy. Entrance is through Astor Farm to Table and with no outside signage, is a word-of-mouth, best kept secret for late night fun! Very intimate inside with comfortable couch seating and sultry decor, and amazing bar service: the gals behind the counter are friendly and knowledgeable, and will help guide your palette to the perfect hookah flavors...the strawberry mint is my favorite: cool and sweet! Try a cocktail recommended by their in house mixologist! A great place to relax and socialize: I will definitely be back!"
"I heard about this bakery from a party planner that said it was one of the best she's ever tasted. I drove over an hour to try the cupcakes and cookies and was not disappointed! The cupcakes were fresh, flavorful and fluffy moist. The cookies were so delicious and beautiffully decorated I decided to order a few dozen for my baby's birthday. I've used them for two years and people always ask who made the amazing cookies and I'm happy to recommend them!"
"KATY, TX 77449 / KOREAN / 08-31-23 / LUNCH+The customer service was pretty good, but it wasn't busy during a Thursday lunch rush hour. There were two other parties besides us.+The banchan side dishes were pretty well-prepared and definitely made in-house. They brought out boiled bok choy, pickled radish kimchi, cabbage kimchi, and sautéed fish cake.+The restaurant space is small, but tidy with nice decor.-The oxtail soup was lukewarm; usually, it comes out boiling, piping hot at most Korean establishments. The cartilage pieces were super large chunks and not boiled down, so they were tough to chew. I brought home some leftovers and cut them into little pieces for easy spoonful eating.-They don't offer the typical self-serve dish of sliced green onions like at other Korean oxtail soup restaurants. -The seafood pancake wasn't cooked fully; the batter was still raw, as if they rushed in the kitchen and didn't use proper pan/griddle heat temperatures.-No loyalty rewards program.-No weekday lunch specials.-They don't offer the marinated pork bbq ribs anymore or the spicy beef rib galbitang, which are two dishes they were popular for.-All of the dishes were very salty.-We got super sleepy right after eating our meals, so there may be some MSG thrown into the soups. What we ordered:'2 oxtail soups with cartilage $14.00 each'1 seafood pancake $18.00Total: $60 post tax and tip for a party of two"
"Short review and no photos - sorry!! Second time coming here, enjoyed it last time so back again. Also had exactly the same food - shrimp etouffee and Cajun taters - what's not to like!! Definitely coming again soon!! Love it!!!"
"Came here for lunch and was not disappointed by the food. The paella was fragrant, flavorful, and there were threads of saffron in the dish. The ingredients were fresh. The mussels, shrimps, calamari, chorizo, and chicken were perfectly cooked. The whole dish was delicious. The lamb shank was big, and super tender. The mash potato and green bean sides were good too. Baklava for dessert was the perfect ending. The phyllo pastry was crispy, thin, and flaky. The ground walnuts added extra texture, and the honey brought the dessert together. Scrumptious! The baklava was served with a small scoop of ice cream on the side. I have never eaten a baklava with ice cream so it was new to me. However, I found the ice cream to be unnecessary as the baklava was already a sweet dessert. I couldn't taste the sweetness from the ice cream after eating just one small spoon of baklava. I received great service today and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The restaurant has an olden but modern look, and there are plenty of seats for small and big groups. There is plenty of parking too. I will be back for sure."
"The taco truck next door doesn't take cards so I came to Chinese Wok hoping the food was better than the building looks. I must say, I was impressed. I got the beef and broccoli because I thought that was safe enough... The food was definitely MUCH better than the eye sore of a building. The drive thru service was fast, friendly, and cheap. And as is usually the case with Chinese food, there was far more on the plate than I could eat at one time. I now have lunch for tomorrow as well and all for the low low price of about $5. I'd definitely eat here again if I'm grabbing a quick lunch to go."
"Wow! What a difference drinking locally prepared coffee. Keith really knows what he is doing."
"I stopped by yesterday, and they have a great selection. The management is awesome and very friendly!! Most definitely my go to liquor store from now on!"
"A colleague told me about this place and I'm glad we stopped in. I've never even heard of Walkons, but let me tell you what it's really good. The customer service is great and the food is fantastic.Food: I went with the wings. Eight piece wings was great for lunch. They are called Jumbo wings and yes, they're quite large. I think next time I'll tell them extra crispy, but other than that they were simply amazing. The flavor was great. The chicken wings were big. The sauce was great. I'll definitely get Wings here again no doubt about it. Also the chicken and sausage gumbo was simply amazing. I was very happy with the dish. How can I forget, the appetizer. The Boudain balls were so damn good. The spice and the flavor from the Boudin balls was probably my favorite. The customer service was great. You had several waitresses all checking on you at all times. They have better customer service and them steakhouses I've been to. The customer service here is top notch.I'll definitely come back soon."

Hubs and I stopped in after dinner as Eat Cake had been in my bookmarks for a while now, and it was directly in our path after leaving Squable. We were actually on our way to another local dessert shop (our favorite), but decided to give into the moment and stop. The good: The staff was friendly and the chubby cookie (chocolate chip) was chunky, had a nice crunch, and was deliciously buttery. Perfect. The indifferent: The namesake. The cake. This was to be the "true tell" as whether or not Eat Cake earns repeat visits. And unfortunately, it didn't meet the mark with the Almond Raspberry cake that was suggested and we bought. First, the cake & texture: it's giving a denser angel food cake, which the hubs was fine with, but I'm not into it. The almond extract was strong in this one. Would have loved more balance. Icing: Whipped/heavy cream-esque. Meh. Give me a light buttercream or cream cheese icing with raspberry, always. Raspberry filling: too artificial tasting, with a lingering aftertaste. All in all, I'd potentially come back for the cookies as I wasn't hooked with the cake. Cheers!

What's all the hype?Had to see for myself as recommendation from 1 of my fave yelpers.Decided on the key lime and it was definitely like a keylime pie but the cookie felt a little heavy not light and crispy like some other cookie places have tried recently. Liked the cashless ordering and fresh to make atmosphere. They were busy on day we went so bit of a wait .I typically like to get in- get out and it took 30 min for 4 cookies . Probaly could have gone at a less busy time .Customer service : Good and friendly.Parking: Easy

Tried this place for the first time today. So glad we did! The food was delicious! Very fresh too.The decor was very cute inside & out. Our only complaint was where you serve your own water. The container pours VERY SLOWLY. Really should change it out with something else.

Ordered takeout lunch from here. I got the bistec a lo pobre. It is essentially a variant of the popular Columbian dish bandeja paisa but th Peruvians have an edge with seasoning and the Columbian win with that chicharonnes goodness. Also got the beef empanada. The beef in both dishes were spectacularly seasoned. I liked the empanada but was generally thrown off by the powdered sugar on top. Very unusual but it worked. The beans, fried plantain and eggs went beautifully together though I wish the beans had a bit more salt and pepper. As stated the steak was well seasoned but waaaaay overcooked. I asked for medium rare and got medium well. I suspect it's because it's cut so thin. This is the sole reason I docked 1 star. Overall really good food. Final grade: B+I'd eat there again for sure.

12/30/19Came here with my coworkers and it was super busy. We were informed that the location isn't always so busy and it was maybe due to the upcoming holidays. So there was one bartender/server and it was slammed. I ordered the grilled chicken Cesar salad and a Bloody Mary. The food was great and my drink was good. There were several entrances to the bar and grill as they had a smoking and non smoking section of their establishment. Overall, a great spot to enjoy a drink and some decent food.

"I'm a huge fan of the original Thai Stellar in Webster. I would even say it's one of my favorite Thai spots in the city. When I heard they were opening up a second location in Pearland, I was ecstatic. This particular location replaced another pretty good Thai spot in a little shopping strip close to 288. Parking has never been an issue in that lot and still isn't now. The restaurant is pretty small and can only hold maybe 2 or 3 larger parties in addition to about 6 or 7 small booths. What I did not know ahead of time is that they do reservations. I came with a large group of family on Mother's Day and they were able to put three tables together. I got lucky because the remaining tables had reservations. The staff here was fantastic from start to finish. They were knowledgeable of their menu and have great suggestions.Thai food is one of my favorite cuisines and I like everything from the curries to the noodles. Between the 12 of us at my table, we ordered almost all my usual go to dishes. We did not order any appetizers but my niece did order the Chicken Satay as her entrée. She is a picky eater, but tore up this dish. I went with the Drunken Noodles with combination meat (chicken and beef). I got the dinner portion but underestimated the size of the dish. I thought the price of the food was very reasonable considering the amount of food served. They also have lunch portions for the lighter eaters. I could've easily had 2-3 meals out of the one serving. I got the spice level at a 4 out of 5. To me it was sweat inducing, but not overwhelming. Perfection really! The noodles, meat and veggies were all cooked to perfection as well. The flavors were on point too. I would get this dish over and over again. I tried the Mussamun Curry, Red Curry, Chicken Fried Rice, and Pad Thai as well. Every single one of those dishes were amazing as well. We definitely did not have room for dessert after all that deliciousness. I didn't get my usual go to Thai Tea or Mango Sticky Rice this go round, but that just means I need to come back sooner rather than later. I will definitely be back and am so glad to this newer Pearland addition."
"Decided to try something new. Wow! These people blow shipleys out of the water!!! Their kolaches are so tasty!! And their wrapped breakfast sausage is just as good!!! Great customer service!! And clean place with a great selection of stuff!! Only bad thing is if your in the mood for an afternoon snack... their closed!! They close at 1pm!!!"
"I will give it a five star this place is in my backyard and did not know. Loved everything about it except the coffee was terrible. But food and service was excellent. Highly recommended stop on by. I usually go to the the one in League City and its nice but food is kind of bland."
"The food is excellent. Great house salad full of veggies, including artichoke hearts. Best fried calamari I've found and Marinara is wonderful. Been here quite a few times and worth coming back. Steak, pastas, calzone, manicotti, paninis, ... Be sure to visit when you're near Eagle Lake, Sealy, Columbus."
"Well I never knew in a million yelp years that I would give a bar that has smoking five stars. In fact as I write this I've changed it from 5 to 4 at least 3 times..4 times...5 times... damn... 7 times. From the outside this bar looks like a total dive "slash" biker "slash" I change my mind I'm not going in there, bar. On the inside it looks like a huge; dive / biker / I change my mind I'm not staying here, bar. BUT for some reason... you are impressed. Yes, impressed with the many (and I mean MANY) televisions everywhere. The large patio area and the stellar bar service. By stellar I mean... if the bartender has been there longer than a year... you will have well made drinks. And now get this... shhhh... Saturday nights is Karaoke night. Stage, lights, the whole 9 yards and a wonderful sound system. But wait....shhh...get this... Thursday night is... sigh.... oh yeah here it comes... it, it, it's coming... STEAK NIGHT! OMG.. I have found the lowest steak night ever. Freaking 8.99 baby! A 12 oz mouth full of pure seasoned tenderness. So good that everytime I think about it I have to lick the back of my hand I used to cut it. (Yeah... my right hand is now wet. Excuse the mental picture.) And guess what management decided to do on such a wonderful Thursday night? Guess...Guess!! $5 Patron shots. Bam! Uhhh... coming in late on Friday! So, this is a place you just have to try for yourself. No I do not like bars that allow smoking. I totally think smoking should be banned from every single bar in America. This bar does have very good vents however. I don't smell "as much" like other peoples habits when I leave. (Well, compared to others I've been too.) I advise sitting under one of the vents if you aren't into smoke and I know most people just aren't anymore. Nevertheless, they get 5 stars from me for the great Karaoke, steak night, decent wings (order extra crispy cause they are the bigger ones, a friday night all you can eat catfish (that I haven't had yet) and don't forget... an excellent Jack and Coke. Sing and Prosper!"
"I'm something of a Cabana boy, more than Taco Bell, but then anything is better than Taco Bell. So, so much better than Taco Bell, and a little friendlier as well, and similar in price, but better in terms of quality and quantity, and although this is a three-star place, at best I have to give it a 4 just because I ate here one night after a horrible experience at the nearby Taco Bell, and it wasn't bad."
"Between all the heavy hitters in the dim sum scene in H-Town, Crown Seafood is often mentioned as the local's choice for its massive banquet dining hall and old school push carts (weekend only) showcasing a solid variety of items. I don't mind coming here, but I've yet to be impressed with the food. For me, it's a 3 star spot until further notice. With high ceilings, bright lights, and the dizzying array of round tables, it's easy to see why this is a preferred option for big groups. Every day there's a decent crowd, but the waits tend to be more of a thing on the weekends. Bathrooms are not great, so approach with caution. The novelty of push cart dim sum is a bigger thing in the west than it is in a place like Hong Kong. Back in the motherland, the idea of food sitting out on cart for X amount of time has become unappealing, thus many restaurants have opted for the a la carte / check box on paper menu format instead. I think the former applies in this scenario as some of the items just feel like they've been sitting out a little too long. There are some decent items that solid in a pinch. Namely the very plump shrimp siu mai (蝦燒賣), lotus leaf glutinous rice (糯米雞), a crunchy glutinous fried pork dumpling (鹹水角), and a very hearty sweet cream bun (奶黃包). The rest has either a little too much breading (bbq pork bun), or overly thick skin (such as the shrimp dumplings), or is very plain (egg tarts).I will say their dinner service is more optimal for me, since their platters are huge and the noodles, vegetables (especially the stir fried pea shoots), and steamed fish / lobster preparation gets an A for effort. The only downside is that they're closed by 8pm practically every night. Prices aren't as high as their nearby competition, but the other places usually have better service and ambiance. Crown's service can be a flop at times when it comes to being tended to, but it's likely they're just simply understaffed. Speaking Cantonese is not necessarily a guarantee here either, but seeing as every person on the wait staff speaks something, be it Mandarin or Vietnamese or English, it's usually enough to appease the many folks coming here on the daily."
"Island Sizzle is a small stand alone building on an island. You will see what I am talking about if you visit! There is no dine in. I ordered the Ox tail and Jerk Chicken from the window from a gentleman. The food came out fast! The oxtails were $13.99 Wow! What a deal! It came with 2 pieces of oxtails, 2 plantains, cabbage and rice and beans. The oxtails were wonderful! Good flavor. Tender. What it should be! The rice and beans were cooked well. No complaints there. Cabbage was good. The Jerk chicken $12.95 (dinner) was pretty dry but still edible. If you're looking for a quick, fair priced meal that will get you full try Island sizzle!"
"I love peaky grinders! By far one of the best burgers in Houston, no exception. They use high quality, crumbly meat and I also like the bun (slightly squished in my photo but in person she was fluffy and perfect). Great toppings and really if you don't go crazy on the toppings it's very reasonably priced considering 5 guys is like $15 now. The chili cheese fries were spectacular too with a hint of spicy and were the perfect compliment to the meal, but their plain fries are delicious too. The people are friendly but they seem to make them to order so be patient as it may take 10-15 minutes to get your food but it is WORTH IT!"
"My food was hot and fresh the service was polite. They just opened a month ago. I was so excited to find one here in Katy because we did not have one in San Antonio. The restaurant was clean a bit cold but that's understandable since it hells like hell outside. The did run out of green beans because they are a hot seller. Be patient and give them time to grow."
