"From Katy to Stafford to try out a newer spot. We were trying to figure out where to go but everyone opened at 4 that we were interested in going to and we needed a early lunch. Then we came across B Yvonnes in Stafford. It's located in a shopping strip and had plenty parking at this time. The have a inside area and patio. We were greeted by Tae. It was her 2nd day, but you couldn't tell. She was awesome. Chef Ron himself took our order and thoroughly explained the food options. He even gave samples of the Kool aid of the day which was awesome. So we had the catfish opelesues with shrimp...the catfish and shrimp basket..and these amazing eggrolls with turkey, Mac, and greens on the inside. All of the food was great, but the customer service took it over the top! Oh almost forgot about the peach cobbler...it was on point....ALL THE CRUST. So if in the area.. give them a try!!!"

"Had brunch here. Service was really good considering they were packed on a sunday with a 25-30 wait time on food. Everybody loves brunch. They weren't totally packed but pretty busy. The drinks were good. I had a laloma (a blood orange paloma) and a regular paloma, both were tasty. They did have flavored mimosas and flights which I didn't try. But it's offered. My friend had the expression martini and said that was also good. My friend had the chicken sandwich and said that was pretty good. I had the brisket plate and the beignets. Both were very good. I like how they have various menu items to try. I'll definitely go back to try more."

"After having kids, this review definitely gets a boost. Growing up cheddars was very affordable american food. I would go here on dates in high school and out with friends. Everyone could get full and not break the bank.Now as an adult with kids, this is a place where you can bring the family and the kids can find something they can eat while you can eat on solid food for a very reasonable price. Our favorite by far is the appetizer of the croissants. I believe each person gets one, we usually get an order for the table in addition since it's so damn addicting.As far as entrees, the kids usually will eat the chicken tenders and shrimp combo. The adults will either get the steak and ribs or ribs and shrimp combos.This is a massive amount of food, each combo comes with two sides. The ribs are always plentiful and enough to take home for lunch the next day. On our last visit the waiter was on point! He brought us everything quickly and was super pleasant."

"Micheaux's is special. A truly delightful soul food experience. The entire staff is always nice and friendly. I've had meals to go and dine in.My favorite dishes:Fried catfish is hands down some of the best I've ever had. It's always fried golden brown, well seasoned with their signature batter and they don't skimp on the portion size.Jalapeno cornbread is definitely extra delicious. I think they use red jalapenos in it which gives it a signature taste. It's always baked just right.Fried shrimp is delicious. They are always colossal in size and have excellent flavor. The only feedback I would suggest is finding a way to make the batter adhere to the shrimp better. Whenever I bite into one, the batter always separates from it. But it still gets eaten. Lol.The fried chicken is succulent, juicy, crunchy and crispy. I would really love to know their frying technique because I can't get fried chicken like that at home. Unique and delicious flavor.Blackened salmon is 10/10. Unbelievably flavorful all while holding in the juices to keep it moist. Excellent choice of seasonings and spices. Highly recommend.I've had other items such as the candied yams, mac n cheese, and greens which are also good. They also have a good selection of desserts!All in all, from the customer service, the delicious soul food and the fair pricing, this is a family owned business that is sure to please just about everyone who visits."

"Saucy Nosh, I was very skeptical. I have yet to be disappointed at the Houston Grub Park. So I decided to try the place. This is Texas brisket always goes good with mac and cheese. Now think of it, a egg roll with brisket with mac & cheese deliciousness. When I ordered online I was pleasantly surprised, there it was a "Piggy & A Pillow Combo" 2 fried ribs, an egg roll and fries. The ribs were perfect, and egg roll was on point. I had never eaten fried ribs before, they were so good. I will be going back. She even offers curbside service. I wish I could give this food truck more than 5 stars."

"Was told Taste + Kitchen Bar was very good from locals. It was absolutely a good time for sure! The hostess sat us down, downstairs with very good music and a nice bar. It was very private and intimate with a nice ambiance. The food and drinks were good! For my drink I ordered the popular patron watermelon margarita that was very tasty and I don't even like watermelon like that. For my food I ordered the smothered chicken with greens, yams, and rice. The food was def bomb with the perfect seasoning. I tried some of my friends Mac & Cheese and that was good too! I recommend to get this entree it fills you up most of the day. Our server was very sweet and amicable! She was very welcoming and continued to check if we needed anything. However, I did not quite care for the photos that they take since I'm sure they knew we weren't from there. They charge you for the photos and don't let you take it on your phone. They put it in a frame and Eve thing cute idea, but not everyone will be willing to pay. It is what it is though! Despite that situation, it was a wonderful time with great food and ambiance. The line looked short, but it moved slowly, so it took around 35-40 minutes to get our food. You order/receive the food at the counter, then you seat yourself. There's plenty of seating inside and outside. My bf and I got the 1 lb beef rib, 0.5 lb brisket, 0.5 lb pulled pork, 1 sausage, and 3 single sides (Mac and cheese, potato salad, and coleslaw). This was wayyy more than enough for 2 people! We also got a slice of bread, which they didn't charge for. I have to say the beef rib and the mac and cheese blew my mind!!! These were my faves from the meal. The beef rib was incredibly tender, fatty, and juicy. The mac and cheese was perfectly smooth, gooey, and cheesy. The pulled pork was tender and juicy. We asked for moist brisket, so we got some very tender/fatty pieces. Some of the leaner brisket pieces were drier, but some were tender. The sausage was solid. Overall, I thought this place was worth the wait!"

"I came to lunch here with a friend recently. It was almost exactly in between both of our offices.We arrived a little after it opened and ordered a good spread to share. As far as meats got the brisket and sausage initially. Because they had just opened the ribs were not ready yet. Half way through the meal I went back up to the counter to order them as they were now ready. The brisket was dry, the sausage was mediocre (like store bought), the ribs was the best part. They came wet, I usually prefer a dry rub.As far as the sides we got the mac and cheese, potatoes, and brussel sprouts. The potatoes and Brussels sprouts were my fav the mac and cheese was meh."

"Ok, the main point of writing this review is to state that Sammy Jo is a boss. I stayed for about an hour on a Friday, and she single handedly worked the entire bar like a champ! Seriously, an underrated skill because this bar was bustling! Happy hour seems to be a hotspot for this place.This was my first time in, and I was surprised to learn that they offer tequila flights, and whiskey flight, but do not offer beer flights! This is surprising because this is certainly a beer joint. On the plus side they have a great selection of local brews (although not all on the menu were available), and the bartenders do a fantastic job at helping you make a selection. Also their shots menu is really unique...peanut butter pixie stick what?! Apart from the drink, I'll agree with a few of the reviews below- the food takes quite awhile, BUT if you have a minute, I recommend the pretzel & beer cheese *chefs kiss*. I'm sure it's meant to feed two or three, shared amongst friends, but this was the perfect size for a gluttonous me (love me some beer cheese)! While I personally cannot say I'm in love with the "come and take it" staff uniforms, all and all, I would recommend this place for a nice happy hour brew with the mindset that the food is a bonus."

Before we left she came to the table with a dessert w Congrats written on the rim. She wasn't just an excellent server, she was a kind server who went above & beyond. I always take photos of our food but we had been so busy all morning/day/evening & had just driven in to Katy. So, I snapped some half eaten photos ‍ Everything we ordered was freshly cooked. It was all hot & delicious. We ordered the chicken pot pie, fried fish, Mommas breakfast, chicken tenders & a trio of appetizers. The mozzarella bites serving was tiny but they were really good. The dill pickle ranch that came w the fried pickles was so flavorful. It was so good that I want the recipe! My nieces best friend was in love with the Pot Pie. The chicken is chicken fried & then put inside the Pot Pie. She gave me a bite & you guys... it was scrumptious. This is a home cooked, mama's cookin' type of country restaurant. If you are opposed to country cooking... Get a salad. I have had a lot of salads in my life. When I come here I want their biscuits & slow cooked pot roast. (My mom had just made me pot roast for my bday on the 7th so I didn't order it but that's my favorite dinner here) I have never ordered anything here that wasn't good. When we go on family road trips across the US we look for Cracker Barrel's. Btw, the young man at the host stand was friendly also. All of the other staff was great. This was a wonderful dinner! Tia even saw me taking photos by the tree w my best friend since 4th grade (she lives in Katy & drove over to see us) and she offered to take photos for us. Total sweetheart. My sis is going to strangle me for posting the photo of her w Tia bc it is a BAD angle bc I was right next to my sis but I couldn't post without sharing a pic of Tia. If she is working, request her. We started off with a starter of "Brad's Crab Stack" which is Fresh Jumbo Lump Crab Salad, Avocado, Cilantro & Scallion Citrus Salad, Sriracha Aioli this was served with tortilla chips. This looked and tasted delicious!!We then had a house chopped salad. Followed by our main entrees which were the prime rib with sweet potato for husband and the fried shrimp with fries for me. All the food was delicious and cooked well. The service here was great. Lots of free parking available. And yes this is a Landry family restaurant. Go, enjoy and bring your appetite."
