Hartz Chicken Buffet

Food is always made to order hot and fresh services Fast service never get anything bad the ambience is inside of your . I would go here if you want fish, gizzard, liver or anything that's delicious.

I picked up a fish meal and added on a couple of chicken tenders. Rolls were hard as a rock. Chicken tenders and fries tasted old. Fish was extremely over cooked. I ended up throwing all of it out. Extremely disappointing. I won't ever visit this location again.

Went back after a few years to see if the place has changed for the better. NOPE. Got the five piece drive thru special. The chicken was absolutely FLAVORLESS! No seasoning at all. Like they just dunked it in flour and then the grease. The last piece was like it was saved over from the day before. Later, oh man did I regret that chicken. Nothing to see( or taste) here folks. Do your taste buds( and stomach's ) a favor and move along.

There should be no such thing as a fried chicken buffet joint, yet here it is and here I am reviewing it. Fried chicken you will someday be the end of me!Anyway, I just moved into the neighbourhood, and since my knees buckle whenever I pass near a fried chicken joint (how stereotypical is that?), I just had to check this place out. I mean I've eaten at Hartz's before, but it's been a good 10 years. It's been long enough, in fact, that I'd forgotten it was a buffet.The place was deserted in the middle of a weekday. I guess folks don't come here for lunch often. So I skipped the buffet because...why would I want to eat that much fried chicken and warmed over sides? Got the 2-piece dinner with fries instead--my go-to at fried chicken joints. I guess they cook to order so it took about 5-10 minutes for the food to be ready.The verdict: The chicken was greasy and didn't have much flavor. The fries were ok and the hot roll was a bit hard and chewy. Oh well, Popeye's is right across the street so I'm good on neighbourhood chicken joints.

This chicken is my daughter's favorite. We live nearby so a quick weeknight dinner is what she loves when we allow her to grab something quick. Drive thru times are longer than usual. It's rare you won't have to wait. Best part about it though--chicken is always fresh as heck!! The bread rolls are DIVINE!! It gives me a pleasant reminder of school cafeteria rolls when I was younger . The fried okra is also a family favorite. Their chicken tenders are also really good.

This place..... if I were homeless and someone offered me a FREE meal I wouldn't accept a plate from here!!! This place should be closed!! The workers are very rude and VERY unprofessional. But I'm here to discuss the food. Well for starters the food line was poor presentation, the mash potatoes had been there so long they were orange looking, the bread pudding, mac & cheese, and green beans were ICE cold and the chicken was fried hard. So I decided to try the gizzards, they had no taste, kind of like if you were to eat a clean handkerchief LOL sorry best I could come up with. On top of the food being poor it was leaking water all on the left side of the building and it had a weird mold smell.Would I go back.... YEAH..... when frogs bark!!!

The chicken here has been consistently good for years now* The okra is My favorite side and the rolls are like heaven when not over baked hot out the oven..The buffet is a great concept and offers a variety of items like mac and cheese, green beans, fruit, chicken pieces, tenders, fried fish and more but the only problem is at this location (I've only eaten the buffet at this location) the owner or whoever the lady is that manages this location waits until the pans are bottom dry before changing it out out You'll have to ask for chicken when it runs out which is ok bc it will be fresh but why is She policing the buffet so hard You'll see but it's worth the maybe $10 meal or less with a drink and the kids buffet is like $6They also have a spicy version but it needs improvement it's overcooked or battered wrong causing it to be dark and dryFish is sometimes good but the shrimp are best of the sea I wouldn't eat it as the fish is almost suspect Chicken and tenders are good when hot and fresh as well as the livers but I'll take some wings and okra and be happy Make sure You get an extra roll*

This place recently resumed the buffet. At $15.99 per person it is about the same price as several Chinese buffets that have better selections. Fried chicken was old and overcooked. Had to peal off the breading just to eat it. The roasted chicken was swimming in a pool of fat. The sides were bland and tasteless. The only good thing on the buffet were the yeast rolls. We had to ask for butter and knives.In addition you were only permitted two trips to the buffet. Although I cannot imagine why anyone would go back more than twice. There are two good Chinese buffets and at least five chicken restaurants within three miles of this place we will not return.

We ate food from this place and all got food poisoning. My husband ended up in emergency room. Place seems very unclean. Need to call health department to shut down this place for good.

I wish I can give it a 0 because the chicken is flavorless asf and the fries are terrible as well it's like frozen foods never coming here AGAIN
