Rosy P. "We got take-out from here when I was craving some seafood. I wanted to try their fried fish and shrimp and we got some wings too. All the food was delicious!! The salt and pepper wings were flavored so well. The fried fish and shrimp were very well seasoned and fried in corn meal - just how I like them. They brought our order out to the car when it was ready. From the outside it looks small and easily overlooked within the shopping center but the food is very good. They've also had a promo in conjunction with Red Circle Ice Cream which is a couple doors down from them so you might want to check if they're still doing that. It's the perfect combo - good seafood from All Seasons and dessert from Red Circle!"

Janee' T. "So glad we came here to eat! So good in fact we are taking our leftovers 6hrs back home to OKC. This place is located next to a gas station. There is a small area to dine in for about 15 ppl or so. It s cute decor. We were greeted enthusiastically when we walked through the door. The gentleman was polite as well as the cashier when we asked questions about how to order. There are items that are ready on the hot line. There are things that are cooked to order. You better have your butt in line by 6:53 so you can be sure to get your cooked to order in before 7pm! We made it by the skin of our teeth, by time we made it to the counter it was 7:01 but the gentleman said since we were in line by 7 we could still order. We all had to know what we wanted so he could quickly call it back to the cook before they shut the kitchen down. It must be pretty serious cuz a guy behind us was getting loud with the staff about them not letting him order cook to order all week for walking in at 7pm! I was like uh oh . I got Cajun fried chicken with Mac and cheese and yams. Mom got fried catfish and shrimp with greens. The meals came with cornbread. The chicken was fried hard like it should be and was crispy and delicious . I ordered 2 of these and requested all flats. The honored the request a best they could, so one plate was all flats, and the other was 2 flats and 3 drums , no big deal! The yams...bussin, the macaroni and cheese...bussin. The cornbread was soft and sweet. The shrimp was good! I didn't taste the greens or fried catfish;that was mom's order. I also ordered a jerk lamb chop al la cart. Since we got the right before they stopped with cook to order the grill was already off so I was refunded my $11 for that. We were given complementary dessert just because. We opted for peach cobbler and cheesecake. That cobbler was so freaking good! It had lots of crust like it like it, and it was just the right amount of sweet! The cheesecake was covered with strawberry topping. It was good. The cheesecake can stand alone with out the topping. Again the service and food was amazing. Definitely recommend."

Patty C. "Simply delish! I suggested this place as a dining option after seeing all the positive reviews. My dining partner is a fan of Cajun food, so we ventured here on a busy Saturday. First things first, we were the only two patrons that were not of the dominant ethnicity represented here. It doesn't usually bother me, but I definitely felt like the whole restaurant stared at us the second we walked in. If you're sensitive to this type of thing, get your food to go. For the appetizer, we ordered the bam bam shrimp, and for my entree I ordered The Big Easy which consisted of smothered unspecified fish, etoufee, and corn choux. My dining partner ordered the Blackened Redfish Pontchartrain but substituted the rice out for fries for $7, which I thought was a bit hefty. The bam bam shrimp was fine, but the smothered fish in The Big Easy was remarkable! That sauce was so flavorful and amazing! The corn choux was pretty tasty even though the corn was on the dry and overcooked side. I ordered a Long Island ice tea but couldn't finish it, as I was pretty drunk after consuming half of it.Overall great place and worth a return visit."

Jando S. "The Vietnamese-Cajun scene that Houston has become known for is alive and well here at Tasty Cajun. Their name is merely a reflection of their success in producing some of the city's best crawfish. I don't want to suggest they're the best per se, but based on what I've sampled, I'd be hard pressed not to include them in the conversation.Since they're located in the southeast end of the city next to the all-but-dead mall of Almeda (#1), there isn't a lot of people traffic here. In fact, there isn't ever that many people here that I've seen and given how good they've been, genuinely makes me a tad nervous. They've only been in operation for just over a year as I understand it, but certainly have a lot to offer. The name of the game is the crawfish. All batches I've ever received have been fresh, plump, and abundant all the time. I think compared to the heavy hitters in the crawdaddy game, the prices are decent and the flavors (signature garlic butter, house cajun) are excellent. The spice is also no joke. For folks looking to get a huge batch can do so by ordering on their website, complete with a quote and custom fixings such as potatoes, corn, and other boil worthy items.Of course, the fried catfish, tilapia, and shrimp + oyster platters are worth considering as well. With their popular seafood boils, which also include crab, shrimp, and obviously crawfish, are subject to availability. Don't be surprised to find that some items aren't even available. One area that gets slept on is their actual Vietnamese offerings. They serve a really excellent bowl of bun rieu, and have a myriad of Viet broken rice options (com tam) that should be ordered when seafood isn't in the picture. I personally think their bun mam and their com tam dac biet merits a huge thumbs up.This gem of a place may not win the popular vote anytime soon, but with friendly staff, decent prices, and an excellent array of quality food, I think they deserve all the attention they can get. For now, they can have my 5 stars and my money, as I'll be coming back again and again._____________(#1) Perhaps one of the most depressing places to shop in HTown: https://www.yelp.com/biz/almeda-mall-houston-4"

I was so sad because I had been looking forward to trying the food. I spoke with Pat and he sincerely apologized and asked me to come back the next day and he would take care of me. The next day was New Years Eve and luckily for me I got off at 3pm. I was so looking forward to trying the Shrimp Po Boy, I couldn't wait. This place deserves all the praises that it's getting. The customer service that Pat provides is superb! My Shrimp Po Boy was definitely all that. It reminded me of when I go to Cajuns in New Orleans. I get upset because my shrimp is falling out of my sandwich. That's a good thing though. I didn't think that I would like the Seafood Boudain Balls but Pat proved me wrong. They were quite tasty. He opens at 3pm which is kinda late, but I'm willing to take a late lunch for that! I work in the area so I will be going there for that good, authentic food. I plan on trying the fish too!"

This is a small mom and pops type of establishment that could easily be missed when driving by due to the location and signage. We kind of had to search for it even though we mapped it out. It's located in the same center as the Valero and the Pizza Hut, directly across from the Stripes gas station. For starters, we had the boudin and the dumplings. Both items were pretty darn good and looked way better than pictured. We also tried the hush puppies, fish tacos, fried platter combo with the fried oysters, fried shrimp, and stuffed crab. All of the items were phenomenal. Their breading was light, crispy and well seasoned. One of my friends said that the tartar sauce was like crack. I thought it was just okay. Portions were huge and way more than we expected. We had quite a bit of leftovers to take home. Can't wait to return!"

Arceli L. "It's a really, really good thing that I ordered more than crawfish, because if I was judging this place by the crawfish alone, I'm not sure if I'd give them a second chance.I understand that it's near the end of the season, so the crawfish are going to be a little on the smaller end. No judgment there except that I noticed there were two huge crawfish at the top of the bag, almost like they're added to trick you into thinking that there are other large ones scattered throughout the boil. There aren't.The worst offense with the crawfish was that they were DRY and tasted like they were old, reheated leftovers. I've gotten crawfish from 6 other places this season, and never once from any other place did I see gills that were brown and dry. If these had been crawfish at a buffet, I would have left them. The green mussels, on the other hand, were some of the best I've had. I requested their house special combo flavor with extra juice and no spice (spice haters, be warned that the dry cajun seasoning does have moderate spice in it). The boil liquid was so good that I wanted to drink it, and my husband was joking about me taking shots of it from the mussel shells. If you like mussels, these are not to be missed. There are a lot of them in the 1 lb increments that they're sold in, and the price is fair for how much meat they have.I also ordered the cajun pasta for my husband. It had a really great combination of flavors, and came with a cup of etouffe that was on par with other excellent ones I've tried in the past.Overall, I would absolutely go back for the mussels and other boil items, and to try other things on the menu. I just don't think I'll order their crawfish again."
