"My husband had been wanting to try this place forever, and this Sunday we finally were able to stop by for lunch. He loves gumbo more than anything so we started with that to share, which was excellent! I got the Red Fish as my meal, and he got fried shrimp. The Red Fish was delicious and large enough to take home half as the left overs. His fried shrimp were legit the best I have ever had. The batter was perfect and the seasoning was on point (I also stole some of his giant onion rings and hush puppies which were awesome). We will definitely be back to try more items. The customer service was amazing as there was one gentleman who basically took your order, ran your food out, and also waited/checked on you to make sure you had everything you needed. Overall, I was very impressed with this restaurant's quality and friendly service."

"From Katy to Stafford to try out a newer spot. We were trying to figure out where to go but everyone opened at 4 that we were interested in going to and we needed a early lunch. Then we came across B Yvonnes in Stafford. It's located in a shopping strip and had plenty parking at this time. The have a inside area and patio. We were greeted by Tae. It was her 2nd day, but you couldn't tell. She was awesome. Chef Ron himself took our order and thoroughly explained the food options. He even gave samples of the Kool aid of the day which was awesome. So we had the catfish opelesues with shrimp...the catfish and shrimp basket..and these amazing eggrolls with turkey, Mac, and greens on the inside. All of the food was great, but the customer service took it over the top! Oh almost forgot about the peach cobbler...it was on point....ALL THE CRUST. So if in the area.. give them a try!!!"

"Walk-ins are welcome. It cost $25. The band started performing at 8 pm so it wasn't worth coming at 7 pm as we did. There wasn't a bartender until probably 2 hours later. Otherwise you pick what's there and tell the guy how to make it. They didn't have a drink menu either.FOOD:It took forever for food to come out. Some folks got their plate before us when they came 30-40 minutes after we ordered. For instance, there was a lady who ordered and received her plate 5 minutes before we did but she arrived 15 minutes ago. Wtf?!!! So it appears that they have no order in which they bring out food. There also seemed to be only 1 waiter handling everyone, which was about 16 people.I ordered Bourbon St Blackened Salmon, which was $35. It came with crawfish and shrimp in a sauce on top, which the menu didn't say so. There were some bits that were a little bit too salty. But at least it wasn't dry at all due to the sauce. Very good flavor overall. For sides, I got mac and cheese and cajun green beans. Enjoyed the mac and cheese but the green beans wasn't what I expected. It had a sweet rather than savory taste. I was expecting it to be 'fresh' green beans and not canned.They gave us bottled water in the beginning but there was no mention of if it's included in the cover charge.Ratings:Bourbon St Blackened Salmon = 4/5Mac and cheese = 5/5Cajun green beans = 2/5 Overall, the band was decent. 2 guitarists, a keyboardist, a drummer, and 2 vocalists. The female vocalist had a very good voice. They wanted the crowd to participate but no one really did. They sang some familiar songs. Half the crowd left after they took a break. One thing to note is they charge a 18% gratuity, which was not mentioned on the menu or told to us beforehand."

"I love Juicy Crawfish. My order usually consist of 2lbs of lemon pepper mild with three potatoes and two eggs. Recently I've been adding Beignets to my order. I also noticed gumbo on the menu . The more I order from Juicy, I try new entrees but I become a regular with crawfish every Sunday . The customer service is always pleasant. Even on crawfish off season, it's still good and Juicy. During their off season, I do remind them to allow my crawfish to soak in the seasoning. I've experienced one bad batch and immediately called them with my concern. I remembered it was not crawfish season. In other words, the crawfish was frozen . The manager empathized and gave me a new batch and it was still Juicy"

"Flew into Houston late, and I was looking for seafood in Pearland. My family recommended this restaurant. The menu looked petty good. I saw fried shrimp and crawfish on the menu. I could not pass them up. I walked into the restaurant. The restaurant was clean, and the space was moderately portioned. There was a small line, but it moved OK. The staff was friendly. They took my order. I ended up ordering the fried combo with dirty rice and crawfish, and etoufee since they did not have fried crawfish. The shrimp and dirty rice were great. I like the pieces of pork in the rice. The rice was seasoned good with a hint of spice. The Etoufee was good. I would have liked it better with more reasoning. I will definitely keep this place on the list whenever I am in town."

"A colleague told me about this place and I'm glad we stopped in. I've never even heard of Walkons, but let me tell you what it's really good. The customer service is great and the food is fantastic.Food: I went with the wings. Eight piece wings was great for lunch. They are called Jumbo wings and yes, they're quite large. I think next time I'll tell them extra crispy, but other than that they were simply amazing. The flavor was great. The chicken wings were big. The sauce was great. I'll definitely get Wings here again no doubt about it. Also the chicken and sausage gumbo was simply amazing. I was very happy with the dish. How can I forget, the appetizer. The Boudain balls were so damn good. The spice and the flavor from the Boudin balls was probably my favorite.The customer service was great. You had several waitresses all checking on you at all times. They have better customer service and them steakhouses I've been to. "Saw a sign on the highway so I looked this up on Yelp. After seeing the good reviews, we decided to come here for lunch. The restaurant is a short drive from the highway. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Plus they have ducks that the kids can feed for 50 cents. Near the duck area there are settings to swing on.The menu has a good amount of variety for both fish lovers and fish haters. We started off with an order of hush puppies. They were very good with a little bit of heat. The kid and I liked them, hubs not so much. He prefers them to be sweet. For lunch I got a salad with blackened tuna on top. You could also get it with chicken or mahi. It was a good salad with a big piece of tuna. The tuna was great! The only thing I would do different is put it in a big bowl. The plate it was served on was too small which made it difficult to eat without losing some of the food off the plate.Hubs got the fish and chips which I tasted and it was very good. The kid got chicken fingers which looked really good. This is a good place to stop for food. I'd definitely recommend it and would eat here again."

"While I can appreciate the upgraded ambiance from a storefront with display cases and nothing displayed, to a more comfortable and intimate dining experience, the quality of the all you can eat shrimp was not what was expected for the price. In general, the consensus at my table was that the boiled shrimp had a funny taste/aftertaste. My shrimp weren't cleaned (deveined), yet those that I was dining with had deveined shrimp. Why wouldn't all of them be deveined bc who really wants to eat shrimp poop? But honestly I likely could've overlooked the poop shoot but couldn't get past the taste. The only way I can describe the taste is "dirty" or "fishy". The first round of shrimp took about 25 min to come out. No bid deal. An extended wait time is expected for an all you can eat shrimp joint on a Friday night. But when the shrimp came out, it wasn't hot as one might expect for a meal to be after waiting 25 min to be served. Tepid might be appropriate to describe it. My friend's shrimp was terribly overcooked and hard as the plate it was served on. While the server was nice, I had to repeat a simple order of "all you can eat shrimp, spicy" several times. The garlic butter sauce that the shrimp is drenched in was not at all pleasing to the palate. Whatever recipe changes were made from the previous ownership to now, please change it back.After returning my order of boiled shrimp, I decided to order fried shrimp. A simple fried shrimp basket with fries that should've taken no more than 15 min, took an additional 30 min. But when it finally did come out, it was piping hot as expected. By this time though, the rest of the table had already finished their food. The manager was kind enough to comp the boiled shrimp, which I greatly appreciate. Although I frequented this location before the whole remodel, this is my first visit after the remodel (& I'm assuming new ownership/management) and I'm unlikely to dine there again. The best part of this dining experience was the DJ. The jams were a big vibe, and boosted this review from 1 to 2 stars, but outside of that, would not recommend."

Total for two orders came out ti $25 tax included. It was the best $25 spent! Food had soo much flavor and was soo fulfilling for the price! The ambiance was typical of a crab spot. We got a sack #2 ($51.95), added a king crab ($55) to bag to share and an egg ($1.50 per egg). I thought the prices were very outrageous and certainly not worth it. Only good part of the experience was our waiter Kay and the fact that the drinks were cheap ($6-$9)."

The crawfish étouffée was delicious, and the fried snapper bites were excellent. Add a side of dirty rice, and this was a very enjoyable meal.Landry's has a rewards club called "Landry's Select". We signed up for it a week prior at Saltgrass. Basically, we paid $25 to get setup, then received $50 in credits to use right away. So we cashed-in one of the rewards with our meal. If you like the Landry's restaurants, ask your server to get setup.All in all, for lunch we spent about $15 per person for a quality meal (drinks brought it closer to $20 per person). Not bad at all!"

"Rian's Seafood Grill is a tucked away gem in Rice Military. I came in here with a group on Saturday afternoon, ready to get down on some Louisiana and Gulf coast style seafood. I knew I was going to like this place as soon as I entered. Smooth music blasting and people enjoying themselves over a drink or incredible smelling food. For starters, we ordered a spicy boudin link and the spinach and crab dip. The spicy boudin link was on another level! That's the best boudin I've had on this side of the Sabine River. I almost ordered one more but I already had so much more food coming. They also brought out complimentary crackers to eat with the boudin. The spinach and crab dip was tasty and the chips that came with it were crispy and crunchy, lightly salted and perfect for scooping up the dip. Thicker than a snicker so they didn't break while dipping. Next up was a shrimp po boy with a side of seasoned fries. I enjoyed this take on the po boy. Fully dressed to impress, the shrimp' mayo, lettuce, pickles and tomato hit the spot, sitting in between two pieces of French bread that were crispy on the outside and soft as a pillow on the inside.The fettuccine pasta with chicken was delicious. Creamy and seasoned well, it was hard to stop eating.The shrimp and grits were a winner! Huge Gulf shrimp in cheese grits that were so creamy, I thought I was in a dream. I could eat this for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a bar in the restaurant where the drinks were flowing and the people were glowing. The waitstaff was impeccable, stopping by several times to check on my party. The co owner stopped by several times as well and we discussed the food and the restaurant. Rian's was an exciting dining experience in a comfortable, lively setting. I'll definitely come back soon to support this business and the great people working here. You should too."

I ordered one pound of crawfish medium spice, seasoned with the "House Special" (it's a mixture of garlic butter and Cajun seasoning), very good and juicy! I also ordered the seafood platter with crawfish tails with fried rice. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I thought the crawfish tails were over fried, but the combination of food was good. The mystery sauce they offer, definitely taste like a mystery... it has a very light, seasoned taste and I love the fact that it's a good addition to your food, however does not weigh the food down, just the perfect finishing touch!
