"My husband had been wanting to try this place forever, and this Sunday we finally were able to stop by for lunch. He loves gumbo more than anything so we started with that to share, which was excellent! I got the Red Fish as my meal, and he got fried shrimp. The Red Fish was delicious and large enough to take home half as the left overs. His fried shrimp were legit the best I have ever had. The batter was perfect and the seasoning was on point (I also stole some of his giant onion rings and hush puppies which were awesome). We will definitely be back to try more items. The customer service was amazing as there was one gentleman who basically took your order, ran your food out, and also waited/checked on you to make sure you had everything you needed. Overall, I was very impressed with this restaurant's quality and friendly service."
"The house sauce was good! We tried a lot of their food so here is the rating on each one:Gumbo = 4 Turkey necks = 3 (too salty)King crab = 5 (biggest one I've had) Scallops = 5 Shrimp skewer = 3 (only 4 shrimp a little overcooked)Crawfish tails = tasty sauce and great sauceThey played good music and it wasn't too loud. The service good too! I'll be coming back ^_^"

Visit Restaurant Page"From Katy to Stafford to try out a newer spot. We were trying to figure out where to go but everyone opened at 4 that we were interested in going to and we needed a early lunch. Then we came across B Yvonnes in Stafford. It's located in a shopping strip and had plenty parking at this time. The have a inside area and patio. We were greeted by Tae. It was her 2nd day, but you couldn't tell. She was awesome. Chef Ron himself took our order and thoroughly explained the food options. He even gave samples of the Kool aid of the day which was awesome. So we had the catfish opelesues with shrimp...the catfish and shrimp basket..and these amazing eggrolls with turkey, Mac, and greens on the inside. All of the food was great, but the customer service took it over the top! Oh almost forgot about the peach cobbler...it was on point....ALL THE CRUST. So if in the area.. give them a try!!!"
"Wanted to try something new since i was in the area. Decided to go with the catfish etouffe and boudin balls. Both items were good but I'm pretty sure you can find something similar in a area closer to you. Overall was decent. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area."
"Walk-ins are welcome. It cost $25. The band started performing at 8 pm so it wasn't worth coming at 7 pm as we did. There wasn't a bartender until probably 2 hours later. Otherwise you pick what's there and tell the guy how to make it. They didn't have a drink menu either.FOOD:It took forever for food to come out. Some folks got their plate before us when they came 30-40 minutes after we ordered. For instance, there was a lady who ordered and received her plate 5 minutes before we did but she arrived 15 minutes ago. Wtf?!!! So it appears that they have no order in which they bring out food. There also seemed to be only 1 waiter handling everyone, which was about 16 people.I ordered Bourbon St Blackened Salmon, which was $35. It came with crawfish and shrimp in a sauce on top, which the menu didn't say so. There were some bits that were a little bit too salty. But at least it wasn't dry at all due to the sauce. Very good flavor overall. For sides, I got mac and cheese and cajun green beans. Enjoyed the mac and cheese but the green beans wasn't what I expected. It had a sweet rather than savory taste. I was expecting it to be 'fresh' green beans and not canned. They gave us bottled water in the beginning but there was no mention of if it's included in the cover charge.Ratings:Bourbon St Blackened Salmon = 4/5Mac and cheese = 5/5Cajun green beans = 2/5 Overall, the band was decent. 2 guitarists, a keyboardist, a drummer, and 2 vocalists. The female vocalist had a very good voice. They wanted the crowd to participate but no one really did. They sang some familiar songs. Half the crowd left after they took a break. One thing to note is they charge a 18% gratuity, which was not mentioned on the menu or told to us beforehand."
"How many different ways can I eat boudin...? Today, 3! HUGE boudin egg rolls, Boudin Burger with crawfish potato salad, and their newest item not even on the menu yet... Stuffed Boudin Wings all washed down with brown sugar lemonade and finished with some homemade bread pudding. We even got gumbo to-go for dinner. Y'all... run here fast! Owner was super nice and said they are opening a BBQ Smokehouse next door. Can't wait!"
"Very nice inside . Plenty of screens to catch any games on . They have fried Boudin balls. I order so much food for 50 bucks . I ordered lo mein noodles, hot wings, fried fish. Egg roll. Table had so much food on it for only $50 not bad at all. Definitely be going back there . Very nice staff . They have sinks outside the restroom for faster access . They also sell crab boil, almost any kind of boils."
"I love Juicy Crawfish. My order usually consist of 2lbs of lemon pepper mild with three potatoes and two eggs. Recently I've been adding Beignets to my order. I also noticed gumbo on the menu . The more I order from Juicy, I try new entrees but I become a regular with crawfish every Sunday . The customer service is always pleasant. Even on crawfish off season, it's still good and Juicy. During their off season, I do remind them to allow my crawfish to soak in the seasoning. I've experienced one bad batch and immediately called them with my concern. I remembered it was not crawfish season. In other words, the crawfish was frozen . The manager empathized and gave me a new batch and it was still Juicy"
"Best Cajun fried rice you'll find in the area. Rice is so flavorful the shrimp are huge packed with spice. Only downside would be the crowd of men in-front of the liquor store next door can be very unwelcoming. I suggest calling in your order will be back though."
"Will do a better review. Really good size menu. Very casual. Haven't been in years."
"The service was great and the food was delicious. Came here with family the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. We all got an assortment of food, and everyone loved it. We shared the deviled eggs appetizer, and I split the chargrilled oysters with my cousin."

When it comes to fried seafood and gumbo, Louisiana Fish House is our favorite spot in Tomball! They do things just right, and their service is fantastic. Highly recommend!

My son has been begging for crabs so after reading some reviews I decided to dine here. My family of 5 arrived at 7pm on a Friday night and were seated immediately. There is music playing but not overly loud. Our waiter was very attentive and answered all of our questions about the menu. We started off with ordering the grilled oysters and calamari for appetizers. The oysters were delicious!! I didn't try the fried calamari but everyone said it was good. For entrees we got the shrimp po boy, whole catfish, Texan platter, and famous feast. The catfish had a strange taste, it definitely wasn't as good as the catfish I've had at other establishments. The shrimp po boy did not disappoint. The famous feast consisted of boiled shrimp, mussels, sausage, corn, potato, and snow crab. The sauce was a bit too salty for my liking but overall everything was pretty good.

I've been wanting to come here for some time after following via IG for a while. I'm so glad I decided to come out. Located in a strip mall, there is ample parking. So if parking gives you anxiety/worries, be relieved. The spot is a cozy intimate space. Dimly lit tables create a nice ambiance. Feels like the BlueNote in NY. Just not as tight! The sign says "Live Music, Great Food. They ain't lying either. Them Jerk Lamb Chops were so tasty. Cleared my plate I was blessed to partake in musical delight from RedLoc Music (Check them out!) Customer service was top tier, immaculate! Everyone that I cameIn contact with was so very helpful and attentive. I didn't get many pictures/video, too busy watching the show! I really enjoyed myself. Oh and did I mention, they are Black owned Thank you Empire State Jazz Cafe for setting off the birthday festivities!

The food is absolutely delicious! customer service is a little bit all over the place but 100% worth the price and worth the time. The restaurant itself is pretty clean. Every time someone leaves they are right away cleaning up the area. We come from time to time when we are in the mood for some tasty seafood or fried rice.

Visit Restaurant Page"Even though the crawfish is really pricy here and never any deals the food here is really good. I frequented this location due to the close proximity to my house. However, i would definitely find cheaper places for crawfish if there were some on this side of town. I tried a few other things in the menu and they were good as well."
"So good!!! We typically get the boiled seafood feast which is around $100 but we'll worth it for 2-3 people. This time around our lobster was half undercooked but everything else was good. The stuffed pork chop was enjoyed by numerous family members and the premium sampler appetizer is hands down a must order because is has a little bit of everything. We had a very large party for a graduation and there was only one waitress tending to half of the restaurant so wait time was a bit slow but overall not too bad."
"Flew into Houston late, and I was looking for seafood in Pearland. My family recommended this restaurant. The menu looked petty good. I saw fried shrimp and crawfish on the menu. I could not pass them up. I walked into the restaurant. The restaurant was clean, and the space was moderately portioned. There was a small line, but it moved OK. The staff was friendly. They took my order. I ended up ordering the fried combo with dirty rice and crawfish, and etoufee since they did not have fried crawfish. The shrimp and dirty rice were great. I like the pieces of pork in the rice. The rice was seasoned good with a hint of spice. The Etoufee was good. I would have liked it better with more reasoning. I will definitely keep this place on the list whenever I am in town."
"A colleague told me about this place and I'm glad we stopped in. I've never even heard of Walkons, but let me tell you what it's really good. The customer service is great and the food is fantastic.Food: I went with the wings. Eight piece wings was great for lunch. They are called Jumbo wings and yes, they're quite large. I think next time I'll tell them extra crispy, but other than that they were simply amazing. The flavor was great. The chicken wings were big. The sauce was great. I'll definitely get Wings here again no doubt about it. Also the chicken and sausage gumbo was simply amazing. I was very happy with the dish. How can I forget, the appetizer. The Boudain balls were so damn good. The spice and the flavor from the Boudin balls was probably my favorite. The customer service was great. You had several waitresses all checking on you at all times. They have better customer service and them steakhouses I've been to. The customer service here is top notch.I'll definitely come back soon."
"Saw a sign on the highway so I looked this up on Yelp. After seeing the good reviews, we decided to come here for lunch. The restaurant is a short drive from the highway. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Plus they have ducks that the kids can feed for 50 cents. Near the duck area there are settings to swing on.The menu has a good amount of variety for both fish lovers and fish haters. We started off with an order of hush puppies. They were very good with a little bit of heat. The kid and I liked them, hubs not so much. He prefers them to be sweet. For lunch I got a salad with blackened tuna on top. You could also get it with chicken or mahi. It was a good salad with a big piece of tuna. The tuna was great! The only thing I would do different is put it in a big bowl. The plate it was served on was too small which made it difficult to eat without losing some of the food off the plate.Hubs got the fish and chips which I tasted and it was very good. The kid got chicken fingers which looked really good. This is a good place to stop for food. I'd definitely recommend it and would eat here again."
"A Houston institution! I've been eating at Capt Benny's literally my entire life. The food is always fresh. The service is always superb. I particularly enjoy this location because the staff is always so warm and welcoming. By far my favorite dive seafood spot in Houston! Give them a try."
"I just moved to town and was looking for a good catfish place and I have found it. I haven't had anything but the fried catfish and each time we go its fried to perfection. They are closed from 3-5pm which I found out the hard way after driving across town. But the food was good. it tried to call in my order a few times but no one ever picks up the phone."
"Great service today from Lin! Some confusion on my guest's order which was taken care of perfectly. Checked on us regularly. Great catfish as always."
"While I can appreciate the upgraded ambiance from a storefront with display cases and nothing displayed, to a more comfortable and intimate dining experience, the quality of the all you can eat shrimp was not what was expected for the price. In general, the consensus at my table was that the boiled shrimp had a funny taste/aftertaste. My shrimp weren't cleaned (deveined), yet those that I was dining with had deveined shrimp. Why wouldn't all of them be deveined bc who really wants to eat shrimp poop? But honestly I likely could've overlooked the poop shoot but couldn't get past the taste. The only way I can describe the taste is "dirty" or "fishy". The first round of shrimp took about 25 min to come out. No bid deal. An extended wait time is expected for an all you can eat shrimp joint on a Friday night. But when the shrimp came out, it wasn't hot as one might expect for a meal to be after waiting 25 min to be served. Tepid might be appropriate to describe it. My friend's shrimp was terribly overcooked and hard as the plate it was served on. While the server was nice, I had to repeat a simple order of "all you can eat shrimp, spicy" several times. The garlic butter sauce that the shrimp is drenched in was not at all pleasing to the palate. Whatever recipe changes were made from the previous ownership to now, please change it back. After returning my order of boiled shrimp, I decided to order fried shrimp. A simple fried shrimp basket with fries that should've taken no more than 15 min, took an additional 30 min. But when it finally did come out, it was piping hot as expected. By this time though, the rest of the table had already finished their food. The manager was kind enough to comp the boiled shrimp, which I greatly appreciate. Although I frequented this location before the whole remodel, this is my first visit after the remodel (& I'm assuming new ownership/management) and I'm unlikely to dine there again. The best part of this dining experience was the DJ. The jams were a big vibe, and boosted this review from 1 to 2 stars, but outside of that, would not recommend."
"I've tried this place a few times since visiting Humble. The crawfish a tiny but full of flavor. The shrimp are a nice size & good. I love spice & ordered both spicy they were right on point. I peeled the potatoes & doused them with the spicy sauce. Everyone enjoyed the corn as well. A couple of people tried the sausage & loved them. They also give you sauce on the side which my grandson enjoys mixing & spicing it up for us."
"This is a good truck called Betty Jeans Cajun Cuisine located at Katy-Hockley Cut Off at Erma Rose Winery. This food truck has amazing food at the best prices! I ordered the 4 pc chicken wings -$8 and upgraded the fries to Mardi Gras fries which consisted of an Alfredo sauce sausage, chicken, and shrimp for an additional $4. Total for two orders came out ti $25 tax included. It was the best $25 spent! Food had soo much flavor and was soo fulfilling for the price! I had went earlier that day to another food truck for lunch, spent double the price and was under impressed. The wait was long as there were 10 orders in front of me but it was worth the wait. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely return!"
"My friend really wanted to come here after seeing it on Instagram so we drove the 35 mins from Central Houston. The parking lot was a bit off putting when we pulled in and the security guard standing at the door didn't make me feel any better. Either way, we got in, sat down and ordered our food. The ambiance was typical of a crab spot. We got a sack #2 ($51.95), added a king crab ($55) to bag to share and an egg ($1.50 per egg). I thought the prices were very outrageous and certainly not worth it. Only good part of the experience was our waiter Kay and the fact that the drinks were cheap ($6-$9)."
"If you have not had lunch at Babin's, it's definitely worth a look.My wife had the $12 blackened chicken and loved it. I had the crawfish half and half, which was offered as a special with red snapper bites instead of fried crawfish tails. The crawfish étouffée was delicious, and the fried snapper bites were excellent. Add a side of dirty rice, and this was a very enjoyable meal.Landry's has a rewards club called "Landry's Select". We signed up for it a week prior at Saltgrass. Basically, we paid $25 to get setup, then received $50 in credits to use right away. So we cashed-in one of the rewards with our meal. If you like the Landry's restaurants, ask your server to get setup. All in all, for lunch we spent about $15 per person for a quality meal (drinks brought it closer to $20 per person). Not bad at all!"
"So this review is based on take out experience. The food was tasty and well prepared and above all what I ordered was what was in the bag when I arrived back at the house which is a plus. Would I return to this restaurant, yes!Seemed a little pricey but it's a pandemic and supply shortages."
"The crawfish and shrimp were both good sizes with great flavor. We also had corn and potatoes. The guy checking us out recommended adding some mushrooms, which were the only disappointing part of the meal. The mushrooms were too hot to be enjoyable. The level of spice on everything else was great, but I'll definitely skip the mushrooms next time."
"Rian's Seafood Grill is a tucked away gem in Rice Military. I came in here with a group on Saturday afternoon, ready to get down on some Louisiana and Gulf coast style seafood. I knew I was going to like this place as soon as I entered. Smooth music blasting and people enjoying themselves over a drink or incredible smelling food. For starters, we ordered a spicy boudin link and the spinach and crab dip. The spicy boudin link was on another level! That's the best boudin I've had on this side of the Sabine River. I almost ordered one more but I already had so much more food coming. They also brought out complimentary crackers to eat with the boudin. The spinach and crab dip was tasty and the chips that came with it were crispy and crunchy, lightly salted and perfect for scooping up the dip. Thicker than a snicker so they didn't break while dipping. Next up was a shrimp po boy with a side of seasoned fries. I enjoyed this take on the po boy. Fully dressed to impress, the shrimp' mayo, lettuce, pickles and tomato hit the spot, sitting in between two pieces of French bread that were crispy on the outside and soft as a pillow on the inside. The fettuccine pasta with chicken was delicious. Creamy and seasoned well, it was hard to stop eating. The shrimp and grits were a winner! Huge Gulf shrimp in cheese grits that were so creamy, I thought I was in a dream. I could eat this for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a bar in the restaurant where the drinks were flowing and the people were glowing. The waitstaff was impeccable, stopping by several times to check on my party. The co owner stopped by several times as well and we discussed the food and the restaurant. Rian's was an exciting dining experience in a comfortable, lively setting. I'll definitely come back soon to support this business and the great people working here. You should too."
"What a great find as we headed to the beach for our anniversary. The food was amazing, the service so friendly, and on the way to Surfside! The redfish was simply delightful and full of flavor. Perfect cream sauce w crawfish and it comes w my favorite, dirty rice! The shrimp and grits had some of the best shrimp I've ever had!Thought they might do something for our anniversary, but probably t the type of spot."
"This is my second time eating here. The closing times are a bit early and we got there 20 minutes before close. The waitress seemed to also be the manager and she let us sit if we would order quickly. I tried their Salmon Alfredo. It was a rich sauce and Salmon seasoned well. Everyone else enjoyed their food as well. My friend said the crawfish was spicy."
"Great Crawfish! We got some in April and it was still top tier! I really enjoyed the food and the place seems nice and quint even for a food trailer. I would highly recommend going here for good meal. The service was also great even when we ordered our crawfish to go."
"Decided to visit here for date night. Neither of us had dined here before, just saw the restaurant when delivering for ubereats. Overall the experience was great. Our waiter was very nice and informative. The food was definitely good, especially the crawfish! I ordered one pound of crawfish medium spice, seasoned with the "House Special" (it's a mixture of garlic butter and Cajun seasoning), very good and juicy! I also ordered the seafood platter with crawfish tails with fried rice. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I thought the crawfish tails were over fried, but the combination of food was good. The mystery sauce they offer, definitely taste like a mystery... it has a very light, seasoned taste and I love the fact that it's a good addition to your food, however does not weigh the food down, just the perfect finishing touch! I definitely plan to visit again!"
"This was a cool spot. They have plenty parking. The vibe is cool with good music. The lemon pepper wings were on point. The fries were cool. The boil was good but a little spicy. The Hennessey sidecar was not up to par..it had alcohol but no flavor. This is a nice chill spot and close to home"
"Fifty bucks for lunch (2 people) and completely worth every cent. Crawfish boil special +8 shrimp and Nanna Pudding dessert. Everything was awesome! My lips were on fire -in a good way... but bathing them in bananna pudding led to a quick recovery. Rustic for sure ... but I'm cool with that. Too bad we're just driving through! But I did take the tiny spice container with me for a diy at home. Thumbs up."
