The food is always made fresh ! You get an outdoorsy atmosphere. The ladies in there are always sweet !

food is good taste just like home (mississippi).. took longer than i expected ever tho i pulled up n order most definitely going back i'll just call ahead of time next time lol

Each plate is made to order, a definite off the beaten path kind of place but the 2 pork chop dinner was served with a generous portion of okra (a slight up charge but great value) & a nice small salad to lighten the meal.The buffalo wings are excellent, also cooked to order.Plate dinners come with a choice of 2 side, a slice of bread & a drink is included.They have an oxtail special on Sunday's. I'll keep you posted when I bring an oxtail expert on my next visit.

Just an absolute treasure! Great fried catfish. Great burgers, great family!!! Some of the best desserts around town too!!!

Best kept secret in the 44. Delicious food and reasonable prices. Portions are solid as well.

This place is deep an a neighborhood in acres homes so you might think you're lost when you're going to it. The exterior doesn't look like much either as it appears to be a hodge podge of buildings and add-ons. If it's early enough, the lobby won't be open (opens at 10am). For a place that serves a lot of breakfast, I was surprised it opened up at 9am and not earlier. Their menus are posted on the wall around the ordering window and honestly, I couldn't make sense of them. I needed help. And it seems like a guarantee your food is cooked to order and is going to come in a styrofoam container unless many of you eat in the lobby. All that to say this food was delicious. I had a protein they called "big Mike" which were little tender nuggets of fried pork that was light and tasty. My grits were well salted and cooked. My hash brown reminded me of the classic one fromMcDonalds but way better, clearly hand made. None of it was greasy at all. This place gives me greasy spoon vibes in the best way.

Honestly we called in a order and they told us 15 min we got there at 6 pm why we didn't get our food until 7:18????!! It's crazy how ppl want others to support black businesses but y'all do stuff like this? Just straight up lie to our face then my boyfriend comes to the car with his food and they sitting there telling him they adding chili to the burger that took a extra 10 min. Like come on y'all don't even have a care in the world about the customer I was so fed up I told him to get the money for the burger back cause by that time I ain't even want it anymore!! I do not recommend if you care about being places on time , they definitely need to work on that. I will not be returning. N I'm still not eating this burger!!!

price is right and food is great. they also support the kids during summer by posting low price menu items very affordable and foods great. keep in mind food is made as you order it , have gas in your car so you can sit in your AC while they cook.
