I thought I'd go by and try this place out. I ordered the smothered pork steak, yams, and green beans. I was outside waiting for my food and the lady came out to tell me that they did not make yams. I picked red beans and rice. I got my food and went home. I started to eat my food and the Pork steak could have been cooked a little longer and it was kinda tough. The green beans needed more seasoning. They tasted very plain. The Red beans were definitely not to my liking.They were watery and tasteless.

This small diner featured excellent food. The food was also very cheap and reasonable. My favorite dishes are: fish and fries; chicken wings and waffles; oxtails and BarBQ trifecta! Unbelievable taste and customer service.

I was leaning between a 1 to 2 star but I settle for a 1 star, maybe 1.5I order swai fish sandwich, Italian Sausage Dog/w Fries, BBQ Trifecta/w Dirty Rice and Mac & Cheese, Two Fried Chicken, and Boudin Links/w Crackers First off for the stuff I order they all have picture so I was expecting it to look close to that.However, Italian Sausage nothing like the picture and it didn't taste good and was overcook. Also they put ketchup and mustard on for you which IMO bad, they should have say they put that or atleast put it on the side for us to put our self. I had to scrape it off since I don't like both on sausage. 0/10The BBQ Trifecta look really satisfying in the picture but of course it was terrible.....By the picture I was hoping for 3 ribs but only got 2 and a super nasty chicken piece ewwwwww.The only thing good about it was the rib and dirty rice. 5/10The two fried chicken was just too oily and no favor and look like fry from super old oil. 0/10I had really high hope for the Boudin Links, but it came crashing down. Like before nothing like the picture. It was really big and burn that it look not edible. Inside look better but it taste like nothing, no favor. 0/10The swai fish sandwich look good but like the sausage they put the mustard for you so I end just throwing it away since I can't even scrape it off. 0/10Overall, it was a terrible experience. I won't be recommending this to friend or family maybe just the ribs but it they don't even sell just ribs. Also the most disturbing thing about all this was the packing of it. They was in brown bag, so the whole bag was soggy with oil stained.

Service was fast, menu was highly appealing. Food was delicious, nothing more to say. Will definitely be ordering again in the future to support this business.

I was the last to order so they gave me old meat. Then when they were called they say oh nobody else complains. Well i am. That meat tasted like an old wet building in downtown Houston with drug addicts living there. My daughter will eat anything but not this mess. We threw away then a whole week went by. They lying. I see bad reviews on thi place right on yelp. People on this side town dint know how to cook but the Asian people. Jesus take the wheel on these oh no cooking people! Im from louisiana boudain dont taste like they smoked it. Lol.

My second order wasn't all that long after my first, but I did order a chicken tenders and waffles, which appears to no longer be on their menu (at least from Eat24 from where I order). Everything else I ordered was great (boudin!!!!, pork sandwich) but I would advise that the chef vent the to-go box that houses the chicken and waffles if they put those back on the menu, so that way the tenders and waffles won't go soggy. Limp tenders and limp waffles definitely put a damper on the experience, so I had to take off a star, but I trust them to improve. Still rooting for this business! (or maybe I'm just a sucker for their boudin!)

I love the catering from these guys. Superior food and service, and a lot of kindness. Truly food for the soul. Highly recommend!! LOVE the fried chicken!!

Please do not eat here. It is not worth it. I ordered several things off of their menu today, just to give it a chance. I ignored the other bad reviews, because I thought it was only their personal opinion. I was wrong. Almost all of the food lacks flavor, for a soul food restaurant, they use absolutely no seasoning. One of my food arrives, it was cold. The breading was falling off of the fried fish, the macaroni and cheese and green beans were flavorless. Even the waffles with my chicken and waffles, were soggy. It might be cheap, but please save yourself the money.

I originally gave a 3 but the more I ate the more I was just unsettled. Found this place on UberEATS.I orders 4 different meals. They did have a issue with their menu on UberEATS and the pricing. The have a 2 piece with 1 side and 1 roll for $2.99I ordered that for both of our kids then come to find out it's supposed to be $2.99 for two piece chicken and a roll. Instead of the lady honoring what was listed she charged extras for the side and blamed UberEATS. Then they forgot to give us the roll for one of the meals. LolThe food was ok. It wasn't the greatest but it wasn't the worse. Also the 3 piece meal is all dark meat. It didn't say on the menu but I was assuming it was a mixed of white and dark

So I was on my uber eats app and saw this restaurant. We decided to just go up there cause it wasn't that far. When we got there, not gonna lie we was like this is a hole in the wall I hope it's good cause we just passed up like 10 food spots on the way. Well we got there and ordered. Their menu is pretty simple cause they focus more on catering. I got the fried chicken, broccoli and sweet potato fries. My sister got the bbq plate with Mac and cheese and beans. The food was BOMB!!! Everything was seasoned so well and Cooked right (broccoli wasn't soggy, fries were crispy). We were really happy. And they were so inexpensive. Everything was under $20. And we were full and took food home. Definitely will be back!!!!
