"Very cute brunch and dessert spot. The crème brûlée bites were my favorite. They are about two bites which are perfect if you're wanting to sample a few things. I also tried the key lime pie. Not too sweet but the perfect level of sugar to where you don't feel like you're immediately getting a cavity.Also had brunch. I tried the French toast and breakfast sandwich. The French toast was simple but okay. The sandwich was a little messy. I wasn't a fan of the bacon, almost as if It wasn't freshly cooked . I would've preferred a different bun as well. The hamburger bun was out of place for breakfast."

"Grab some friends, desserts, and coffee! This has been great place to hang out at on Friday evenings. They have great coffee shop like ambiance and stellar customer service! My friends and I each order a pie or two and we'll just do a rotational tasting and pass it down until we're all pie-d out or we devoured it all. That's really the best way to sample all the variety of flavors. I do love that each time we come, they have several new flavors, it keeps it fresh. This place is really our favorite pie place in all of Houston and we'll have friends meeting us here from all over the city. The price is about $7 for a generous slice. We came on a Friday right before HH ends and the sampler was a great choice everything was tasty especially the shrimp.Drinks were hit or miss - lychee martini was too sweet for him and I tried something sour which was fine. The mule -not HH -which is the top mixed drink on the menu was underwhelming.The crispy flounder was a winner so flaky and ask for the sauce on the side which is so helpful. The pieces are already cut for you so you have crunchy filets to share.The basil shrimp entree was fresh and oddly did not have anything besides shrimp - so that was unexpected.Waiter was helpful.Overall a nice experience if you are craving Thai food in the Galleria area."

"The first time I visited, I walked right out because they only have generic desserts/flavors. I ended up giving Dessert Gallery a chance because I needed a lemon cake for my coworker's birthday. My team consists of 5 individuals, so I was hoping to order a 6 inch luscious lemon cake, but that flavor is only available in the 9 inch size.I arrived to pick up my cake order and was told that they could not find my order even after showing them the email confirmation. At this point I'm mildly panicking because this is obviously part of the big birthday celebration. The other cashier jumped in and was able to successfully look up the order. The original cashier started bagging up the cake, so I asked her to if I could look at the cake to confirm my order and that there was the requested text on the cake. She gave me a dirty look and said "what writing - there's no writing on the cake." Thankfully, the same other cashier from earlier said he was packing up the white chocolate circle with the requested text. Will probably never come back here - too many good bakeries with better offerings and less attitude."

"I'm in love with Bingsu after being introduced to it last year from a friend. Whenever I go to a new location, I love searching to hopefully find a place. I was in luck during my visit to Houston. Snowy Dessert Bar did not disappoint. The Bingsu was amazing. This dessert is like no other. It's hard to explain but just know your taste buds will be super happy with the light refreshing snowy milk topped with fruit or other decadent treats. I truly wish I had this in my city because I would definitely be there often."

"Found this place on yelp while looking for a place to order a gender reveal cake from. They have an online form you can fill so I was able to fill everything out and request what I wanted in about 2 minutes without even having to pick up the phone!! (MAJOR PLUS FOR ME).After they received my inquiry, Red Dessert Dive replied quickly, making sure I got what everything I wanted in the cake. I had never been there before but when I went to pick up the cake, the place was tiny and cute and smelled SOOOO GOOD! They had so many sweets it was hard to resist getting one of everything LOL. In addition, the staff here was super friendly and my cake was ready right when they said it would be ready. The cake was beautiful and most importantly it was DELICIOUS. My friend had requested a marble cake with cream cheese frosting and they delivered just that in the most delicious way. Thank you for helping me make this day so special for these newly weds and new parents to be!"

"Why 5 stars? Because I couldn't have been more satisfied with this ice cream. --- --- ---The dessert options at POST were aplenty, and I honestly thought I would end up getting boba or maybe even some banana pudding from another vendor. But the table we sat at had a perfect view of the Flower & Cream menu, which was staring me in the face the entire time I was eating lunch. Eventually, I gave in to the hypnotic chants I was hearing in my head and surrendered to the ice cream.The decider for me was the fact that they had a cookie butter flavor. I like cookie butter 100% of the time. Cookie butter is never bad. Flavors like chocolate or salted caramel can have a lot of variance. Cookie butter is just always the same, delightful treat. I couldn't decide on what other flavor I wanted to try, because I could have gone without about ten of them. I didn't want to be embarrassing and ask to sample half of the case, so I just went with toffee coffee cake. Blind. It ended up being pretty enjoyable. And like always, the cookie butter was its typical, heavenly self.Cheers to Flower & Cream -- I wish you were not an hour away from my house!"

"Every once in awhile, my sweet tooth kicks in and one of my favorite comfort sweet treats is a good ole donut. Voodoo is my late night option when the cravings hit. Bonus is that they are open 24 hours. When Voodoo decided to come to Houston, they started at this location. Now there are two other locations as well. The lot is small here, but they do have a drive thru. I always go in so I can see all the creations in person. Customer service is hit or miss depending on when you come in. This is an in and out kinda place in my opinion so it's whatever. As far as variety, this place has the craziest donut creations. You can get a voodoo doll donut, a maple blazer blunt or even a cock n' balls. Not sure what that taste likes. You also have vegan options here as well. I don't like anything overly sweet with lots of jellies or creams so I always stick to my favorite apple fritter or a buttermilk bar. Don't sleep on them old fashioned donuts either. All these go great with a good cup or coffee or a cold glass of milk.I don't come here often, but it is one of my go to places when the sweet tooth kicks in late at night. I will be back."

I ordered a chocolate decadence cake and it was $50, but seemed smaller than what it used to be. It was a two-layer cake, but I could've sworn it used to be 3 layers back in the day. The cake was a big hit this weekend though! I didn't have a chance to try their food this time around, but there are still a lot of items from the original owners that I saw on the menu."

"BEST BARBECUE TO DATE. Since moving to Houston, I've been on the hunt for some of the best BBQ I could find here since we seemed to be lacking some when we lived in Florida. We each got the Two Meat Plate which mine consisted of pork belly, moist brisket, Mac n cheese and backed beans with brisket. The moist brisket was about 50% fat which is exactly what I wanted. It melted in your mouth it was so juicy. The pork belly did the exact same. I loved the crust on the pork belly. The Mac n cheese was especially creamy. The only thing I didn't care for were the beans, but that's all of the BBQ places. They definitely do their beans differently here in Texas versus the south (less sweet more savory) and there's nothing wrong with them, it's just a preference. Robert got the moist brisket with pork ribs and the same sides. We loved the pork ribs too as they fell off the bone. Honorable mention to the staff. They were really wonderful and answered any and all questions I had about the food and sides."

"The service was great! You order at the counter when you walk in and then get a number, they have indoor and outdoor seating. They gave us a free cookie because it was our first visit. We just went in to try a little something. Had the cheese and bacon fries. It comes with cheese sauce but I had them replace it with melted cheddar instead because I don't like cheese sauce on fries, makes them soggy. They were shoe string fries, little on the greasy side, and they had real bacon. I will come again and try a loaded potato."

I've had meals to go and dine in.My favorite dishes:Fried catfish is hands down some of the best I've ever had. It's always fried golden brown, well seasoned with their signature batter and they don't skimp on the portion size.Jalapeno cornbread is definitely extra delicious. I think they use red jalapenos in it which gives it a signature taste. It's always baked just right.Fried shrimp is delicious. They are always colossal in size and have excellent flavor. The only feedback I would suggest is finding a way to make the batter adhere to the shrimp better. Whenever I bite into one, the batter always separates from it. But it still gets eaten. Lol.The fried chicken is succulent, juicy, crunchy and crispy. I would really love to know their frying technique because I can't get fried chicken like that at home. Unique and delicious flavor.Blackened salmon is 10/10. Unbelievably flavorful all while holding in the juices to keep it moist. Excellent choice of seasonings and spices. Highly recommend.I've had other items such as the candied yams, mac n cheese, and greens which are also good. They also have a good selection of desserts!All in all, from the customer service, the delicious soul food and the fair pricing, this is a family owned business that is sure to please just about everyone who visits."

You can't set up a reservation before 6 pm, but they were able to get our party of 7 seated fairly quickly. The staff was friendly and checked on us often. Our food arrived pretty quickly, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their choices. I didn't get a chance to try dessert, but I plan on returning to this location as there were plenty of items on the menu I want to try."

If you know what I mean.The first thing that I noticed when I walked into Kamalan Bakery were the egg tarts sitting behind the front counter. I knew right then that those are what I needed to satiate my sweet tooth. Did not take a really detailed look at their other baked goods because I was in a rush.Egg Tarts looked yummy, and they did not disappoint. 4 stars!Portugal Custard Tarts were even better. Cowgirl: This was the most unique dish we had, it has a smoky flavor to it and is also crispy Green Goddess: the ponzu sauce is delicious! Thai Hippie and Unami Maki were also tasty but didn't have as much of a unique spin to them. Tuna Tower - comes with fake meat tuna on a bed of rice that you have to mix to eat. The sauce it comes with is delicious!Overall we would definitely return."

"Italian food lovers, this place is the absolute best. The owners are from Naples and the chef is from Sicily. The dishes have more of a Naples flair. Everything is delicious. My only negative is I live in League City and it's 45 minutes from my house!! But, on occasion, we make it a point to drive from the coast over to the west side of Houston to the corner of Memorial and Kirkwood to sample more of the deliciousness from their menu. We don't need to have our arms twisted very hard to make this trek. The portion sizes here are more in line with Italian sized portions. Most of them are not large enough to split. But, the good thing about that is each person can order something different and then you can taste each other's food. Not a bad way to go in my opinion. Plus, you then have room for dessert. Bottom line - This is the best Italian food I've had outside of Italy. No joke. Regardless of where you are in Houston, this one is worth the drive. As I always say, bon appétit, y'all. But, in this case, I guess I should say buon appitito, y'all."

"03.19.2024 - Made it to PopFancy in Houston Texas - what a cute place - tried their Lychee Cherry Blossom Breath of Love - so refreshing and delicious. The drink brings you to a place to imagine walking under cherry blossoms in the spring time. The drink is so pretty and elegant. It was very refreshing and crisp. Walking into Popfancy was also an experience. The decor was all in Anime and I recall that week we went in was a Demon Slayer theme. I take it that they change themes on a regular basis. I recall on the phone that they get pretty packed on the weekends that you will need to reserve. It depends on the demand and popularity of the time. Their handcrafted sodas are very impressive. In all honesty, the shopping strip has other drinks to try like Boba next door. I didn't want to try boba drinks since I know I can get that anywhere. But handcrafted sodas is different. I wanted to leave Houston saying that I tried something new. No regrets. This was an experience."

The cupcakes here are exceptionally good.I have had a German chocolate and a few others. These are a great alternative for clients friends families birthdays etc. Everything is pretty fresh and taste really good. Since Eddie like my pic that reminded me about them. I kind of forgot about them unfortunately. I'm not sure why. May because the parking in vintage is kind of tough.Well anyway I went back today and I got the German chocolate Cupcake and it was simply amazing. I would like to go back and try the Oreo and the Italian cream cupcake.I like to support local businesses so if you're in the area do yourself a favor and treat yourself don't cheat yourself."

"I had a recent mind blowing encounter with some custard in West Texas and have been craving something similar since. After lunch nearby for Father's Day with the fam, we decided to come here for some dessert. This is a locally owned business located in a strip center in West Pearland. Since we had a larger party with us, we called ahead to make sure they had indoor seating. Majority of the restaurant is work space with small area for customers. The seating consisted of a few benches inside. There was some outside benches a little further down from the Rollie's, but I'm not sure if it's shared with them or not. We were the only people inside when it was our turn to order. There were two employees working that looked less than enthused to be there. Any questions we had were directed to the menu. Customer service goes a long way in my book, and it was lacking that day. We ordered a variety of different things and they all came out staggered which was to be expected. I ordered the hot fudge brownie sundae for myself with chocolate custard. It looked promising at first glance. I went in on the brownie first and it was on the dry side and way to crumbly, but tasted fine. The custard at first was nice and smooth as expected, but then I would get random bites of ice. It kind of threw off the velvety consistency that I love with custard. I also noticed the absence of chopped peanuts that was listed as a topping. I was half way in already so I let it slide. No other complaints on the other items ordered. Overall, my sweet tooth was satisfied, but between the service and not getting my full order, I'm not sure I would rush back anytime soon. I'm guessing it was just an off day and they have alot more to offer."

When you first arrive, you order at the counter. The nước mam is served by the pitcher when food is served to you. Make sure to add chili paste in your nước mắm if you want spicy, but be mindful their chili paste is spicier than average! But sooooo good!!!We chose to sit outside since it was a really nice day. The outside patio reminded us of a cute French bakery, with a good amount of sun and covering. The only thing is I wish they put a no smoking sign. There were some gentlemen smoking near us while we were enjoying our meal, and it was kinda blowing towards us. I ordered the combination plate that had shrimp, ground pork, and bbq pork. I really enjoyed the bbq pork. It was slightly sweet but also savory. I also really liked their nem chua (sour beef sausage). The portion may look deceiving, but it filled me up pretty good. We also got the mini beignets pillows, served with honey. They were super fluffy on the inside, which I really loved! The medium portion was quite big for 3 people, so I ended up taking the rest home. Definitely would be back to try other dishes and desserts!"
