"This is a new restaurant and so worth coming here. We tried the fried dumplings as an appetizer and they were delicious. Hubby had chili beef and I had tangerine beef. Hubby's was a tad spicy. Mine was also spicy but the tangerine sauce was sweet and countered the spice. So so so good. Both dishes had enough that we took some home. There were not a lot of customers inside (too bad cuz I like to look at the other dishes) but lots of take outs. Our server, Chen, was professional and friendly and attentive (but not overly). The music was not blasting so we ate in relative peace. I love this place. We will definitely be back."
"I love it here. We start with the crispy egg rolls, so yummy! A must take your family/friends from out of town place! I had the Silom mojito and it was perfect!"

Visit Restaurant Page"I was drawn to this restaurant right away from the photos of the to go boxes. I am completely blown away by how fancy these were (a little suitcase for my beef noodle soup?!?!...and not only a suitcase, but little compartments for each little side dish that came with it). This creative packaging hits the spot for a graphic designer eye. I love how they had very unique side dishes that came with some of the dishes. Each was a very small amount, but loved that they included things like seaweed salad, which was a huge plus for me.The food itself was good, but I am sure that the presentation elevated the meal for me. That being said, I'm still giving this restaurant 4 stars. The menu is HUGE (pretty much all diff genres of different asian food), and I only tried a handful of items, so I'm still intrigued enough to come back to try more. Oh also, they are still not open for Dine In. And also a bit understaffed. Hope they get more staff or open up for dine in soon! Some items I tried:- Beef noodle soup: Loved the presentation. It included HUGE pieces of meat. The noodle texture was PERFECT, a good amount of chew. Reminded me of handmade noodles. But the soup was slightly too salty for me. Let's say, I had no desire to drink the soup after eating the contents.- Popcorn chicken: my kids loved this, as always. But after taking this home, (I wish I could have tried this RIGHT after it was cooked) , the outside was still crispy, but the inside was just so tough. Not sure if I had an accurate view of this since I ate it at room temperature (pretty much cold). I have high expectations for my popcorn chicken though. Wish the meat was more tender/soft even after cooling off a bit.- Japanese Chicken Curry: This tasted as I thought it was. Similar to the one we make at home with the curry blocks. Was decent (a hint too spicy for my kids), but nothing too special.- Popcorn Chicken over Minced Pork Rice: Thought we were getting taiwanese braised mince pork AND popcorn chicken over rice. But it pretty much just looked like popcorn chicken over rice. Didn't see anything related to minced pork in there. A little confused and not sure if our order was wrong, but in the end, it still tasted pretty good. This was slightly different from the appetizer popcorn chicken because it has some extra little things in it (possibly some pickled veggies or something) to go with our rice and give it a little kick. I surprisingly enjoyed this dish even though I did not think I'd want to eat popcorn chicken with rice. Thanks for a fun to-go box meal. I'll be back to try more things on the menu next time!"
"5 stars for vibes and service - love the livelihood here! Unlike most Vietnamese restaurants this definitely brings a bar/nightlife scenery with lots of big TVs. Parking is available on both sides of the restaurant. There is both indoor and outdoor seating (heat lamps available on patio), and good for both larger groups and kids/families. A very well-rounded restaurant I must say!Remember this is "bar food" so don't expect the entrees to blow you away. Food was decently priced but I thought they were just okay. Some of the meat in the vermicelli bowl was hard to eat and the dumplings and spring rolls were not much more than what I can make myself at home. Something notable were QUART sizes available for Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee - I'll be ordering these for takeout one day. The dessert was the main seller for me so save room if you can - Vietnamese coffee tiramisu cake was everything I wanted and more!"
"Decided to watch the NBA Finals game here with my family and it kind of felt like my childhood.First I tried their roti and curry dip. I liked it. The roti was warm and the curry dip was flavorful. It was also $2 taco night. They were out of chicken, no problem, so I went for a pork taco and a beef taco. The pork taco was nice and savory, and the beef taco tasted very similar to a BBQ beef I used to eat growing up. The "taco shell" was the roti. I also wanted their Sous Vide Pork Belly Banh Mi since it sounded like an interesting variation of the famous Vietnamese sandwich. They were out of the pork belly (bummer) so I opted for the Bap Bowl with the pork bulgogi. In my opinion, it was too much rice and not enough meat although it was tasty. I didn't really think it was worth the price tag either. For drinks, I had the Kadito. It's similar to a mojito, was a tad sweet for me, however it was a refreshing cocktail.I love supporting local Filipino businesses, but this spot isn't necessarily my favorite. I probably would only return for $2 taco night."
"Loved this place! all the food delicious! 100% recommended! The only negative thing I see is that on the weekends its a little bit pricey than on the weekdays! so I recomend you to go on a weekday to save money and its better cause its specially not crowded at all like on the weekends, but overall pretty amazing!"
"I recently got a chance to sample their cuisine at a board meeting. It was to go but still tasted delicious. I got the shrimp and pasta. Everything was perfect. The shrimp were jumbo and the sauce that came with the pasta was rich and creamy.I have to come back for actual dine in and try some of their other entrees!"
"Authentic Vietnamese restaurant with a clean and cool interior decor. The waitress offered super fast service and the food was delicious. My lemon grass beef bun was grilled and flavorful. My dining partner had the spring rolls and traditional beef pho, both were so good! We had other friends who also joined us later and order the mignon beef, grilled chicken with shrimp rice plate, won ton noodle soup, and the stir fry noodles. None of the dishes disappoint. A huge selection of drinks including milk tea and juice. Since they are not a Chinese restaurant, I opt for the Vietnamese fresh lemon lime juice which was perfect for catching my vitamin Cs on a cold rainy day in Houston!"
"This place is always consistent and always delicious. It never fails. Lunch seems to be the best deal with the bento boxes and other specials. Happy hour is also a great time to go. We had the chocolate bread pudding for dessert but we immediately tore into it so I don't have a picture. One of my favorite places!"
"The Museum District is one of the few areas of Houston that doesn't have a significant Vietnamese presence, which is what makes Miss Saigon Cafe stand out as one of the only pho options. The vibe is homey and small with lovely service to boot, but unfortunately that's where the appeal ends. The food was a big bust for my group and I.I can't stress it enough: I love the family that runs this place. The grandma is incredibly friendly and extremely kind to us. We loved the complimentary sour yogurt and gesture with the grapes. The rest of the wait staff was fairly attentive, despite being extremely slow with everything from food to getting the check to even filling the our waters. Still, good service is one of the most critical elements of a business and thus, 3 stars. The vibe can be described as quaint but comfy. The seating arrangements are small enough for a casual date night in the neighborhood, but good enough for mini groups to feast as well. The mural on the wall is an interesting decor choice and I haven't seen a large crowd here apart from lunchgoers in the area. That's where the buck stops sadly. My pho dac biet was a disappointment with broth as dark as coffee and meat that was tough from being overcooked. I appreciated the fresh herb condiments but they didn't save the bowl. Pho ga was also a disaster with the same dark broth and chunks of chicken breast. Bun thit nuong was not much better. The pork was very underwhelming and the noodles were sparse. I think the cha gio were marginally better but I'm not even sure they're made in house. Banh xeo was easily the most disappointing since it was semi-soggy and the stuffing was also minimal. We didn't even apply the fish sauce and it was already falling apart.I realize that there's an audience for everyone, but I'm clearly not the target demo in this scenario. I may come back but not for a very long time."

Tried the food via GrubHub and it was excellent!! I ordered the wontons in red chile oil, the orange chicken (which came with rice) and the stir fry string beans (which also came with rice). The food arrived super hot and tasted fresh and delicious. I look forward to eating in house!!

Everything I've had from here has been SO flavorful and fresh! Their to go packaging is on another level lolWe tried their soups - all were so good and still steaming hot when we got home! Their popcorn chicken is really good and the portions are very generous. I would like to eventually dine in - but it seems it's still all take out from the last time we went. Their menu is extensive - so many different options to choose from. There is something for everyoneWill def be coming back

We've lived within a mile of Hughie's but have never gone until today when we went with a couple of friends. On the outside, they have ample parking on 20th street and a nice outdoors patio with a few tables. The menu is simple with both traditional Vietnamese fare along with some American classics such as burgers, chicken fried steak, and tendies. We opted for the grilled pork steamed rice plate with brown rice and the grilled pork vermicelli noodle bowl. The pork is well marinated and flavorful and portions are good as well! The rice plate was my preferred out of the two; the pickled veggies + meat + rice + fish sauce was a solid combo that is also balanced. Service is good and the manager was very friendly as well.Would definitely recommend coming here with groups and trying out their other dishes as well.

Tried the raw and chargrilled oysters. Both were TINY!!!! flavor of the chargrilled was below avg. The raw oysters did not look too fresh so I only ate half. They did allow you to order happy hour and take to go though so that was nice. Final grade: CProbably won't be back for a while

good asian buffet in baytown, there are very few to find in or near baytown, found this one, and was very happy to see that they had a good variety of food, as i dined in there i saw how freshly cook the food was, as the staff were constantly making sure the food was plentiful and not running empty. they make fresh sushi here as well, with a person at the sushi area making sushi to order at your request.

Outstanding salmon pasta. A must get. It's a huge plate with decent amount of salmon! Crawfish was okay size. Big ones on top and they get smaller as you go down the bag (at least when I went). Sauces are excellent and the right amount of spice. Fries reminds me of McDonald's but not McDonald's.Ambiance is laid back, modern, chill, and overall clean restaurant. Gloves and bibs are provided upon request. The only suggestion I would suggest is to provide disposable wipes in lemon scents after dining in.Decent amount of parking but be careful where you drive/park. There's a lot of glass so watch out for your tires!
Visit Restaurant Page"Came in here with 30 minutes left before they closed and they still let us site with the caveat that the kitchen would close in about 5-10 minutes. We got our order in quickly and the staff was very nice even though we were there for another 15 minutes after closing to finish up. In terms of ambiance the restaurant was clean and bright but without much decor. What it did have was what we were craving - tofu soup! What we enjoyed:Mushroom tofu soupSeafood tofu with beefSeafood tofu Galbi (as part of a combo)fried chicken (so crisp and tasty but also came with fries which we weren't expecting)Banchan was good and the dishes also came with rich in the metal pots so you get that nice super crisp crunchy rice at the bottom and edgesMedium spicy was good and not too spicy, but you can vary the spice level of the soup to your preference."
"Came across this place while we were visiting Houston. Service was awesome and food was great. Portions a large and since we ordered take out they packed it in this cute little bag. We recommended the place to my sister since she's local. Btw, they serve delicious bobas. Definitely a must try."
"Decided to visit here for date night. Neither of us had dined here before, just saw the restaurant when delivering for ubereats. Overall the experience was great. Our waiter was very nice and informative. The food was definitely good, especially the crawfish! I ordered one pound of crawfish medium spice, seasoned with the "House Special" (it's a mixture of garlic butter and Cajun seasoning), very good and juicy! I also ordered the seafood platter with crawfish tails with fried rice. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I thought the crawfish tails were over fried, but the combination of food was good. The mystery sauce they offer, definitely taste like a mystery... it has a very light, seasoned taste and I love the fact that it's a good addition to your food, however does not weigh the food down, just the perfect finishing touch! I definitely plan to visit again!"
"We have visited The Blue Fish - Houston many many times and at all their previous locations. It has definitely been my favorite sushi restaurant since I was a kid. Most recently we dined on:- Crab/Ahi tuna tower (ask for the Wonton crisps)- Salmon and Tuna tartare on crispy rice cakes - Mega lobster roll - 121 Roll- Volcano roll If you are in the area, have the time to sample some of their delicious sushi... I recommend you give them a try."
"Food:5/5Ambiance:5/5Service:5/5After having this place on my yelp radar for a minute, due to it's awesome reviews. I'm so glad I finally got to try it.You'll see in my photos that I ordered the fusion fried rice - Honey Sriracha chicken, and I also had a small fusion fries. I could've ordered just the honey Sriracha chicken and had two meals or more myself due to the amount they provided in that meal alone. But having seen the fusion fries in prior photos, I just had to indulge. All the food was excellent and it had my taste buds Poppin :). I would say that this place is definitely somewhere to go for a "cheat meal" as the majority of their menu is quite savory and saucy. But speaking of their menu, there are so many options that it can be overwhelming to any newbie. However, the beauty of that is that you can find so many things to suit your fancy here.I've definitely added this place to my list to bring friends when they are in town and looking for a great meal with this style of food.Being that it was my first time, I asked one of the employees for recommendations, and she was more than happy to give me some of her favorite choices , additionally, when cashing out, the gentleman at the register was very kind and helpful.I really look forward to going back and highly recommend this place to other people. It's great for families, a casual friend date, or just a nice and chill ambience for a casual couples dinner."
"Best in town? No, not really BUT solid little spot on the go for when the cravings kick in.I basically ordered the most classic Americanized Chinese dinner special with orange chicken. I mean come on, who can resist the fried egg roll, fried crab Rangoon's and that battered and fried chicken in sweet orange sauce? Not to mention the carbs from the fried rice, or in my case the Lo Mein substitution lol. The man at the counter was really nice and patient while I made up my indecisive mind. The portions are good enough for 2 people (just add an extra egg roll). And I was in and out in less than 15 minutes with piping hot freshly made food.Small family owned restaurant with consistent flavors and a quaint atmosphere make this my pass by go to joint. Sorry no pics on the food... I was halfway done scarfing my food in a hangry spill when I realized it!"
"KATY, TX 77449 / GUANGXI, SOUTH CHINA CUISINE / 08-24-23 / TAKEOUT DINNER+The rice noodle portions are great; very filling.+It's awesome that a South China regional cuisine has established itself in the Katy Asian Town & Marketplace shopping district. I know there is another location in the Bellaire area, and I hope they continue to grow/expand their businesses.+The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean, with a nice layout.+The takeout packaging was well-prepared.-The bone broth was a little too salty for our liking. Other than the high sodium content, the soups were very flavorful and full of umami.-The chicken wings appetizer left a lot to be desired. The quality of the wings used was terrible, and there was too much fat and breading. Skip this appetizer. Maybe get the Taiwanese popcorn chicken instead?-Some random menu items; i.e., tater tots. Would love to see some more traditional Southern Chinese dishes on the menu, even in the appetizers section.-The website could use some improvement, including some better descriptions of the menu offerings, if they would like to expand their customer demographics. What we ordered:'1 A6. Fried Chicken Wings $6.99'1 D1. Losifen Rice Noodle with Vegetables $12.85'1 E1. Bone Broth Rice Noodle with Char Siu $10.85'1 E4. Bone Broth Rice Noodle with Beef Brisket $12.85Total: $47.14 post tax plus tipOverall, the restaurant's concept is great and the food was pretty good. "On the second floor, this beautiful restaurant is dark and sexy. They offer indoor and terrace seating. Hookah and cigar fun happens on the terrace, too.The drinks are beautifully presented. I enjoyed the Lust while my friend had a Smoky Old Fashioned. The lamb lollipops.... listen, 5/5. The hummus..5/5. I loved the dragonfruit added to the beet salad. For entrees, we had sea bass and salmon. The rice under the salmon wasn't quite hitting but the fish were 5/5.Ali delivered superb service to our table."
"Whaaa!!! I'm in tears. I am so happy that Coco's Cafe 可可餐飮 in Sugarland - the one-and-only Taiwanese restaurant still here after CoVid restaurant lockdown of 2020 and chaotic year of restrictions in 2021.My sister requested a special trip because she remembered the tastes when she visited 6 years ago. That was when I hosted Taste of Taiwan UYE and discovered Coco's Cafe has what we crave for. They removed stinky tofu from the menu due to a complaint from a group of customers walked out years ago.We chatted with the owner Mr. Wang. He said they stayed open during CoVid, simply because they didn't have anything else to do. That's a lot of restaurant owners said. It's either stay at home do nothing or come to work because of their passion in feeding hungry customers. They had trouble finding employees, just like any restaurants out there. So, your patience is required. From where I can tell, Mr. Wang will continue serving delicious Taiwanese food until the lease ends. You better hurry up before it's too late."
"Remembered, my first experience here not being very good (about two years ago), due to their being an overzealous waiter who talked our ears off about everthing from sneakers to hats and that the Korena Fried Chicken was overcooked. I always feel like some places deserve a second chance, so since I work close to this location I decided to give it a redo.Took a trip during a late lunch break, after the noon rush, and found the place pretty empty. Interestingly enough, it still took someone over f ive minutes to even acknowledge that I was even there, even though there was a lady behind the bar - just steps from me. Someone finally came and took my order of the chicken strips, fries, and a drink. While waiting, I noticed that some of the tables weren't clean. I'm sure that the lunch rush was just ending, but no one was really attending to the tables during my time there. My food came out, after a little wait, and the presentation was OK, but the fry order looked a bit light and I had to ask for ketchup, even thought there was a little place for it on the fench fry holder. I was then given half a container of ketchup (see images). The taste of the spicy sauce was nice, but after a single bite of each chicken strip the batter fell right off of the strip. I don't recall ever seeing that before. I don't know what to do after this visit. I guess we'll see."
"I was avoiding this place because of the name. I don't eat Sushi, but this restaurant popped up in a search for Chinese food, so I checked out the menu. I ordered to go, but arriving here, the place appeared to be very nice. I can bring the wife here, she eats Sushi. Why three stars, it just needed a little extra attention to detail to the food. I ordered Egg Rolls, Egg Drop Soup, and Orange chicken. The egg rolls, average, maybe average plus. Nothing noteworthy. I do not know if they were bought from a supplier or made at the store. Well made egg rolls made by the restaurant are obvious. The egg drop soup was very good. The amount in the to go container was very nice. However, I like crunchy noodles with my soup and the amount of noodles was to small. They were also stale. The orange chicken was a 'signature' dish. I thought orange chicken was supposed to be spicy by default. It was not. The serving size could also have been larger. It was generally good, but after I ate my meal, I felt less than satisfied. I do not want to be harsh on this place, it was generally good and better than the last two places I tried."
"I've bookmarked this place for awhile now and finallyyyyy had the chance to try it. Definitely what bao bun dreams are made of. Let me get "the ugly" out of the way first. The reason why it didn't get 5 stars is because the employee assisting us was lacking enthusiasm and energy. It's fine, not all of us love what we do buttttttttt it didn't make me excited to order my food. In addition, the avocado chips recommendation was blah. I love avocados, but literally, it's just fried avocados. No real wow factor or stand-out seasoning on them. The good: Bulgogi Bao and Crab Daddy Bao. The Pork Belly Bao is okay. Mediocre. Perhaps the pork belly could have benefited from a touch more seasoning, to my taste buds at least. Overall, I enjoyed all the baos. The steamed bao bun itself is airy and not too dense. Interior is kept tidy and has large communal tables. I like the larger than life black board that serves as their ordering menu. I'll have to come back and try the other baos!"
"Came on a Weds night because I know this place has been hot and trending. To avoid the rush and wait, come on a weekday. I came for their march 1 year anniversary special. It was a great deal and I had to take advantage of it. Upon entering the establishment I was seated right away. The whole staff is attentive and engaging throughout the whole experience. I'd have to say, their customer service is top notch and I felt like I was treated like a family member there. Shout-out to Marc and Mama An, they know how to deliver exceptional service and gave me such a great experience. The food is high quality and lots of it is made inhouse, from the kimchi to the soju. Do not skip out on the soju! Its so delicious, but a little dangerous...it's pretty strong. I never had soju that was made in-house before so that was awesome. All the meats were delicious and the king crab was oh so good. Definitely recommend. I also like the fact their ventilation system it allows me to go home not smelling like bbq! Overall this Korean bbq is the best in town. I am critical when it comes to food and service that translates to customer experience. All of that goes hand in hands and Mapojeong gave me their 100%."
"This has become our new favorite go to spot for some Asian food. We really like their Spicy Teriyaki chicken, it's packed with flavored the chicken is cooked to perfection sweet and spicy. The beef udon was a little underwhelming. It was packed it with more udon noodles with a thin top layer for beef, which was disappointing. Beef was flavorful however, I just wish there was MORE of it. The special fried rice is your combination rice of beef and chicken mixed nothing different from your usual fried rice that you get from there. I would say overall Spicy Teriyaki is our fav!"
"We enjoyed the Blind Goat. I have been a huge fan of Chef Christine and frequented Xin Chao when she was partnered with them. This restaurant did not disappoint. We had the Jungle chicken salad, fried rice, garlic noodles, eggrolls, and the rubbish apple pie. The Jungle salad and the garlic noodles were by far my favorite things. The salad was so fresh and the crunchy sesame rice cracker bowl was the perfect vehicle for the fresh and bright salad."
"This place has been a long time coming for us to try and we are so glad we finally got around to trying it. I'm more sad that we waited so long. It was absolutely amazing. Every dish we ordered was 10/10. I'll start and say that it is first come first serve basis. You seat yourself and then you have to go to the bar to order food and drink. It was busy when we got there, but for good reason! We ordered drinks which were delicious and refreshing. Perfect in this Texas heat. Then we ordered (nearly) everything on the menu. There were 4 of us and we all wanted to try a variety of things. Firstly, the brisket was my absolute favorite dish of the night overall. It was tender, meaty, falling apart, and so fatty! It was flavored so well and I could not stop eating it. The crispy potatoes are absolutely a must as well to pair with any of the meat choices. The butchers cut was equally delicious with an Asian inspired chimichurri sauce and there was a bit of heat which paired well with the coconut scented rice. The vibe was relaxed and fun and the food and drinks were just perfect. Definitely want to come back and try their ribs and ramen!"
"A fave local Viet restaurant in the area. It's located in a spacious plaza where Thang Hung grocery store is. Their service is pretty quick and friendly. Some of my favorite items to get is the fried rice with shaken beef, mi quang, dry hu tieu, and bun thịt nướng. Their pho is also pretty solid. Great portion and with good prices. I always enjoy getting to-go here for lunch. A great spot to get your Viet food craving. Would highly recommend if you're in the area."
"I think that this is my definition of Nirvana. Love the food, the beer selection generally is off the charts, and great service. Every time I am in town... at least one visit for spring rolls, bahn mi, wings, vermicelli,... I could go on but you just need to go check it out for yourself."
"Disappointed in the food. It did taste fresh. Would not come back for anything sushi. The sunomono salad was a huge disappointment as well."
"Located in the food court at Understory in downtown Houston, my friend and I decided to eat here since we had passed it on the way to and away from the restroom (lol) and my god, the smell was hard to pass on. I never usually eat Filipino food but always knew they made food with great flavors. My friend and I settled on the mini kamayan, and like everyone else said, it definitely feeds 3-4 people instead of the 2 people stated on their menu. What a great value! The rice had a buttery/garlicky taste that was oh so good. The different meats within the kamayan all had their own flavors and textures. I was extremely impressed that I liked all of them. My favorite would probably be the grounded patties. The kamayan also comes with a sweet and sour sauce and gravy that compliments the meats. Shoutout to the workers there that night who really took care of me and my friend! They were the sweetest and had great energy."
