Kata Robata

TLDR: Great spot for dates, catchups and good sushi among other meals. Food? Delicious! 4/5Service? Speedy! 4.7/5Ambiance? Loud, but fun and trendy! 4/5

Kata Robata made me fall in love with sushi. Before I dined, I didn't really like sushi but kata's fresh, high quality, and delicious sushi changed that real quick. All the waiters are knowledgeable with their suggestions. All of their sushi is so so so good. My favorites outside of the sushi are the katsu sando (super rich and filling) and the ramen. Can't sing enough praise about Kata!Plenty of parking in the plaza!

Great fresh high quality sushi! Arrival: we did not have reservation for lunch. We said we would sit at the sushi bar and we were able to be seated right away. I don't mind watching sushi masters make their creations. It is like lunch and a show! Food: ordered lunch bento box of black cod. The black cod was buttery and then soy sauce miso glaze was delicious compliment to enhance the delicate cod. The teriyaki chicken was tender and very flavorful. The fried silken tofu was gentle and crunchy, and perfect side. The sushi roll was well prepared too. I truly enjoyed my bento box. We also ordered the sushi lunch plate and wow that was delicious and flavorful too.

Jacob did an amazing job. He made sure we were taken care of and made tasty recommendations. He was very patient with us and made sure we were satisfied. All the foods were made with love and perfection. Every single thing here hit the spot and I can't wait to come back. Thank you!!

A solid sushi place but not particularly outstanding to me personally Parking: There's a lot of parking because they're in a shopping center but it's frequent full. There's handicap parking too Seating:It's a pretty big place and there's plenty of seating - booths and tables. As far as ambiance though, there's nothing that particularly stands out to me Sushi:Their indivual nigiri are fine, but not overly noteworthy. Each time I come here I expect it to be a bit better but it's not bad. The seaweed salad is unique but not what I expected when I ordered it . I wouldn't opt for it again but it was interesting. The wagyu skewers were my favorite part which is unfortunate because I was really craving sushi when I came here ! Service:Their service is fine as well. The staff were polite and attentive.

The service is consistently excellent every single time I'm here, the waiters and waitresses are super helpful and usually make suggestions that we love! The nigiri is always the freshest fish with no aftertaste or silver skin, and the apps (although a little pricier than they need to be) are always good. The wagyu beef Sando was incredible and I've been thinking about it for a solid week! The salmon crudo dish is the best dish I've had in a long time! I hope it never leaves the menu!

Cannot recommend enough, 10/10. Service is fantastic, wait time for food is very good, and good ambiance.Have gone multiple times and have never had any complaints. I'd recommend the Sushi Platter, Miso Lobster Mac n Cheese, Lobster and crab meat ramen.Did Omakase experience for myself randomly because I was bored, looking at around $175-200 per person. Wouldn't recommend it, would recommend other more affordable places around town for similar experience.

This place is always consistent and always delicious. It never fails. Lunch seems to be the best deal with the bento boxes and other specials. Happy hour is also a great time to go. We had the chocolate bread pudding for dessert but we immediately tore into it so I don't have a picture. One of my favorite places!

This place is among the Mt Rushmore of the best Houston restaurants in my honest opinion. From everything with the high class service, the quality of the food, and then ambiance, it's something that's hard to top.One of my favorite bites I've ever had the pleasure of biting is the beef sando. Fantastic recommend that enough.Had the chef's omakase for 6 pieces and did not disappoint. Always a surprise in what they'll bring out
