Se7en

This is my second time coming to Se7en. The first time I came, I was thoroughly pleased with the experience and forgot to leave a review. So, its only right I leave a review for my second visit.Kathya was our server (for the second time which was cool). Her service is timely and impeccable. I am currently expecting, and she brought out a complimentary dessert (the bread pudding) with CONGRATULATIONS written on the plate, which was very thoughtful. She even put a blue candle in the dessert, as I am having a boy. That was a very nice surprise. We ordered lemonade which was good, and this time I ordered a mocktail which came with a neat presentation . I believe a few of their drinks come with a show, which is cool. The food in general is very lite weight, yet tasty. We ordered the kabobs, pollo dumplings, lamb chops, greek and Caesar salad, and bread pudding for dessert. The restaurant is clean, music is not too loud or unfitting...honestly just a nice place overall. I think my only true complaints is the women's bathroom... it doesnt really match the restaurant... but it was clean. And, I noticed its $10.00 per lemonade. That's...interesting. But anyway, besides that this is a place you can come for date night, girls night...its a cool place. And i believe they have hookah but perhaps only after a certain time and maybe only on the weekends. When I came the first time it was very early, which is why Im unsure.

Went Sunday for brunch in cinco de mayo and it was pretty empty. The restaurant has a really nice aesthetic. It seems like they have the ability to do bottle service. I am unsure what it looks like at dinner time but I'm sure it's probably more packed. We started off with the shrimp empanadas, which to me I don't feel like the shrimp was cleaned well because it still tasted like the ocean. my fiancé got the chicken and waffles which she loved. I got the chipotle chicken omelette, which I think was decent. You do have to pay to park and they do not validate parking.

Beautiful restaurant with a cool vibe. Our service was excellent. I can't remember the servers name but he was very attentive to my husband and I. I ordered the Chef's 3 course which is available Monday-Thursday. My appetizer was the Greek salad and the flavors of the heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, bell peppers and feta cheese blended very well with the balsamic vinaigrette. My second course was the Ribeye and it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I substituted my potato purée for truffle mashed potatoes and they were good. I can't wait to visit again to try the other dishes. Make sure to stop in for Social Hour the drinks are $10.

This was my first experience at Se7en, and it was pretty good. I appreciate Se7en having a lot of open seating for a last-minute reservation. Se7en is a beautiful restaurant in the best part of town in my opinion. Se7en has a lot of seating inside and outside. The outdoor seating is basically a rooftop with beautiful decor. Se7en has 7 specialty cocktails that are inspired by the 7 deadly sins. I had the Greed cocktail which was basically a Paloma. It was pretty good and refreshing. I have to give it a 7/10. For food, we started with the chargrilled oysters, which were okay but they didn't seem chargrilled. Nonetheless, they were seasoned very well. I would rate them a 7/10 as well. As an entree, I had the Waygu burger and it was delicious! I had the wagyu cooked medium well, but next time I would order it medium or medium rare. It also comes with a fried egg, but I should've ordered it with an over-easy. The burger came with fries but I substituted them for truffle fries which were also delicious. In total, I would rate my entree an 8/10. For dessert, I had the espresso martini which I give a 7/10, and had the bread pudding. The bread pudding seemed kind of burnt on top but nice in the middle. So I would rate it a 7/10. In all, Se7en is a fun place with a great ambiance. The food is pretty good, but nothing I would rave about. It's a great place for a date night or a group night out.

On the second floor, this beautiful restaurant is dark and sexy. They offer indoor and terrace seating. Hookah and cigar fun happens on the terrace, too.The drinks are beautifully presented. I enjoyed the Lust while my friend had a Smoky Old Fashioned. The lamb lollipops.... listen, 5/5. The hummus..5/5. I loved the dragonfruit added to the beet salad. For entrees, we had sea bass and salmon. The rice under the salmon wasn't quite hitting but the fish were 5/5.Ali delivered superb service to our table.

Se7en is a whole vibe! It's on the 2nd floor and what person doesn't feel fancy having to take an elevator to this place. We had a later reservation because the restaurant had a networking event so we really didn't get sat/served until an hour past. The bar was pretty crowded so we had to wait about 10 mins before someone was able to get to us. We ordered some raspberry lemon drops with tequila instead of vodka and they were worth the wait. Once we were finally sat - they ended up moving our table section bc of how busy they still were from the networking event - the server was very patient with us while we figured out what we wanted. I ordered the miso salad and the peppered tuna tataki - it was good, light and refreshing. I definitely want to try more of their menu when we're not there at 11pm at night.

So...I was excited to try this place.I went with a group of goodies so we were ready!Upon entry the host was a pure delight! He said I looked incredible and told me he wanted to take a photo shoot of me. You think I said no? Lol! So he charismatically went to my table and told them to hold on because he was going to take pictures of me lol. He proceeds to actually take professional looking pictures from my phone outside. He was all about angles and creating the moment. I was so so blown away. The pictures were so good I used them as my social media profile pictures! Then I learned that he actually is a photographer as well. Figures! He's excellent at his craft.Unfortunately, unlike the host...the food is not great. It's the standard food that you can find anywhere. I am happy that the owner came to our table and introduced himself and even.. after some convincing... allowed us to have an appetizer on the house! It was the spring rolls. They were pretty basic spring rolls, to be honest.So, for me.. the food won't bring me here again but a different outfit and a different unit... call me entertained! I will certainly be back for the views alone!

Food is all right, the staff is friendly and nice and interesting entertainment. Good to visit once but not worth a second visit

We had Alexandria as our waitress and she was cool and had good energy. We let her know we were dining for our anniversary and she took good care of us. I took a star away because we booked because we wanted a little entertainment and we were informed that they no longer had performers. Either way the inside was nice and the tables weren't too close together so we still had a nice view of the bar and the vibe of the restaurant. We had a shot of 1942 and they served it in a cute mini glass, and it was chilled perfectly. We both had a cocktail and they both tasted good and had a nice punch. We tried the empanadas. They tasted pretty good but we thought they came with 4 but we were served 3. My husband kept playfully making jokes about the missing empanada and Alexandria magically gave us 1 more. The steak was cooked to our desired temperature and tasted standard. The asparagus was good as well. We were given baklava for our anniversary and it was delicious. Overall we had a great time and we will probably make our way back to try something else and sit at the bar.

One star for our awesome server & one star for the ambiance. My friend made reservations here for a birthday dinner on a Thursday night. They have their own parking garage and valet which is convenient and super cute patio deck area. Great vibes there even though it was empty, (I think they just opened.)Inside, the booths are situated well and it has SO much potential but the vibes were NOT in the room with us. We came here for the supposed belly dancers and band. Apparently they're under new management so no dancers, no show, & no band due to "inclement weather." Mmk.We spent over $200 on MID food. VERY MID / borderline unsatisfactory. The prime beef kebabs were dry, the oysters were bland, the lamb chops were just okay and the shrimp empanadas were very underwhelming. I've had better empanadas at a neighborhood taco truck. We really came here for an experience and we got one, a very underwhelming, dim lit, nothing to tell your friends about, experience. We actually LEFT & grabbed food at ANOTHER houston hotspot. Not a fan & not worth it.
