The Cajun House

I went cajun house they don't have a very big menu it's pretty obvious that this restaurant is influenced by New Orleans a little tex mex in there as well it wasn't busy at all when I came here so I'm gonna get straight to the point I ordered Cajun fries enough for a party of 2 it has ketchup mayo cilantro onion and comes with your choice of chicken, or crawfish or sausage. Its that perfect ratio of seasoned fries and drenched with ketchup mayo and cilantro I went with sausage it had this delightful snap and has a nice after taste of sausage towards the end not too spicy enough to dance around in your mouth I'm still feeling it after writing this review service was ok it didn't take long to order and get the food they gave me water on the house gotta go also free Wi-Fi from chase not gonna lie the table I was sitting at was a bit sticky I'm gonna rate a 4.7

This place is so good I'm mad I didn't try the beignets! I've been looking for some good crawfish in Houston and finally found the place to return! The size of the crawfish is incredible as well. I couldn't believe how big they were. Felt and tasted like I was eating Louisiana crawfish. I will be back and can't wait to try other menu items

My husband went there it was nasty no flavor or anything don't know why he went there but I was at work he came out me and I was like you bought food ? Lol but we had way better seafood and crawfish , sorry Bellair got better food

I was excited to fall in love with this place as the reviews looked so good and it's close to my job, but it was pretty underwhelming. Crawfish was cooked ok, but so many tiny ones and the flavor all sat at the bottom of the bowl. This I didn't realize til I was near the bottom so the top was disappointing. The bottom half gave me hope it could be better but not sure I'll give it a second try cause I have other faves. Server gave me one pound and told me it was 3 Got it sorted but tbh I think he was just new. No star deduction for that. What kind of made my stomach turn was how sticky everything felt. Not like spilled soda, more like residue build up and not sanitizing properly. The restaurant already lacks any ambience that would enhance your eating experience, then add eating foods that require using your bare hands and it just started to feel gross fast. I know gloves are an option but even a gloved hand potentially touching the sticky surfaces would be off putting. Smoothies were also just ok. My son admitted, long after leaving, that he wasn't drinking it cause it tasted like perfume. Anyway, the counter service was very nice and well informed with recommendations. I heard others ordering po-boys, so if I can lose this ick association I might give that a try one day.

Meh is my response. I can only speak to their crawfish, & I ordered 3 lbs via ubereats. Overall I wouldn't recommend or order from them again Pros: flavor was good, neatly packaged to avoid spills. Cons: their crawfish was advertised as live/fresh (not frozen) but it was obviously frozen, as the texture of the meat tougher. Not as good as it would be fresh, especially since it's the beginning of the season and you can go elsewhere for fresh for the same price

Decided to visit here for date night. Neither of us had dined here before, just saw the restaurant when delivering for ubereats. Overall the experience was great. Our waiter was very nice and informative. The food was definitely good, especially the crawfish! I ordered one pound of crawfish medium spice, seasoned with the "House Special" (it's a mixture of garlic butter and Cajun seasoning), very good and juicy! I also ordered the seafood platter with crawfish tails with fried rice. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I thought the crawfish tails were over fried, but the combination of food was good. The mystery sauce they offer, definitely taste like a mystery... it has a very light, seasoned taste and I love the fact that it's a good addition to your food, however does not weigh the food down, just the perfect finishing touch! I definitely plan to visit again!

It's really good even the fired shrimp!! But the craw fish is not the seasoned but really good with the butter they have

This is my second time ordering from Uber Eats. The black mussels were very good! The fish was cooked very nicely. However, this time I feel like the fish lacked seasoning even though it looked like it had plenty. I also asked for coleslaw this time instead of bread and was given bread.

Food tasted like it was cooked in water very disgusting I do not recommend? Got crawfish & was terrible DO NOT order

Was very excited to try this place. Came on a Tuesday at 12 pm. the doors were locked and the restaurant was closed. Wont be coming back again as I went 1 hr out of my way just to not even be able to try it.
