"I came here for lunch and it is a lovely place for a quiet meal during the week! Our server was very attentive and polite. The lunch specials are reasonably priced. I got the enchilada special which comes with one enchilada (I got the traditional chocolate mole sauce with chicken)and refried beans and rice. The mole sauce had a great flavor and the rice and beans were delicious. I liked how the portions were just right and didn't leave me feeling stuffed! We also asked for chips and salsa. The chips were well seasoned and the salsa was nice and fresh. Definitely an authentic Mexican meal. I highly recommend trying this place!"

I should have asked if they can sub out one of the carbs for some veggies but I ate a salad on the side. I ate my ceviche and some cheese bread while I waited for my steak to be ready. The ceviche was very fresh and tasty. I like that it comes with plantain chips. My friend offered me one of her beef empanadas to try. I enjoyed the crispy edges and flavor of the beef. It came with a good dipping sauce too. I ordered my steak medium. It was seasoned and cooked at the right temperature."
"I am all about the locally owned hidden gems and this is one of those old school roadhouse joints that you need praise them, Joe Camel. An unassuming single story aged strip mall next to the dialysis centre (get out your Juul and bear with me) walking into this local hot spot dotting the highway is like walking back into time when life was simpler, waitresses were receptive to being called darling and/or sweetheart, and a lunch beer was $4 a pop. Wait. One of those things seems amiss in 2k19.Roadside diners along the lines of places that Dean Winchester would visit for non-pie dishes always include fried things, and fried things that are delicious. It is not always a perfect circle; sometimes being a venn diagram between the two. However, HS&S makes their casual dining fare the perfect circle where fried foods came to town just to be delicious in the service of the big man downstairs, or upstairs, as suits your preferences - we don't judge here. Which is what brought me here. A recommendation for the finest fried seafood in six counties. And I was already in my windproof Harley jacket on a rainy cold day for other reasons so I didn't need to throw on less conspicuous outerwear to dine at a place like this so it was all aces from start to finish. They have lunch specials which include two sides - freedom fries as your standard one spot option, and your second spot option a choice between a house salad (limited dressings available) or coleslaw. Yo homey, do the salad so much. Even with the limited dressing choices it is far superior to the coleslaw. In fact, the coleslaw is the one and only thing you could ding this joint points on at all ... besides the byzantine mess they created with the condiment squeezy tubes on the fried food orders, which still is giving me the vapours about those devilish shenanigans and requires its own attention in a separate paragraph.Roadside diners have few rules throughout the legerdemain of Americana, where food that was good and hot rewarded a hard workin' man.1. Bikers are welcome, even in a cut with colours;2. If in a fist fight you get blood on someone else's food you need to buy them a new basket AND say you are sorry because that hot zima soup got the best of you; and 3. Condiments come in coloured squeezy tubes so even if #u #is #illiterate you know what is what based on sight alone rather than those multisyllabic queer French things fancier places stamp onto their tubes with a labelmaker. This is a standard American thing about how the colours go: Ketchup is in the red tube, hence the red. Mustard is in the yellow tube, hence the heckin' but still mellow yellow. And mayo is in white because of stereotypes. You know what I am talking about, white bread and all of that. This joint instead likes to fuck with you real nice though and you won't see it coming unless you read Uncle Daniel's yelp review right here. Ketchup is in the red squeezy tube, real nice to lure you into thinking they follow the normal rules of the road that have applied to #merica since Grande Papito Ben Franklin. Just after you get real cozy with that they get you with the one-two punch of tartar sauce in the white tube and cocktail sauce in the yellow. Exsqueeze me, baking soda? No hon. This aggression will not stand, these colours do not run.Motion to put mustard in the gat dang yellow tube so you can put mustard on your fries. Sure, I would look real out of place if I expected poutine fries here and ordered in French real arrogant like. But mustard? This is mustard country, population Yoü and I. People around here squirt mustard all over their wieners at 4 July cookouts in their backyards and similar patriotic events out in public like mattress sales. But instead these fries right here have cocktail sauce all over them, from a yellow tube, rather than mustard as the good lord below expected because that is how things have worked for hundreds of years among civilized peoples just trying to eat their freedom fries in peace.Condiment disaster aside, the fried food is delicious and the waitresses (for some reason we had three working our table for a few daydrinking beers and a lot of fried food?) were great. Except at the very end the third came by to collect our condiment squeeze tubes to pass them on to the next table and she was too busy she didn't look like she had time for "the talk" about colour coding mustard to yellow, and how everything else are filthy lies for others and their freedom fries. I guess this place needs more squeezy tubes since tables have to share; and get the right colours for what you are putting in them!Fried foods are unbelievable right here. But bring home-mustard (or work-mustard if that is where you are stashing the good stuff) if you want mustard on your freedom fries cuz they ain't got none, and cocktail sauce will not do on those bad boys. It is mustard and fries, not cocktail sauce and fries according to the bible."
"We came here for a nice dinner for work and got to sit in a private dining area with closed doors! The ambiance of the restaurant upon entering was beautiful, light and bustling with staff and customers! Greeted promptly by the hostess and whisked away to our private dining. Entering into the private area there was quite beautiful decor and familesque style of dining around a large table! The staff were absolutely phenomenal throughly all the courses of the meal. The great thing I enjoyed most is that there was a preset menu that was printed and placed in in front of us. But they would still allow you to order from the full menu if you'd like. We were served white and red wine, and had a full four course meal with appetizers, calamari and flat bread (both amazing!). Second course was a house salad or Caesar, I got the Caesar and it was delicious! For the third course I got a steak with a spicy hollandaise sauce and asparagus and IT WAS AMAZING! Just enough heat and the asparagus cooked to perfection. Sides were served family style which was perfect so you could try a bit of everything. Lastly, fourth course finished off with Nutella cheesecake with an Oreo crust which I wish would've been my first course! So so good! This place was truly a great first experience and I look forward to coming back for more!"
"We've been here 5-6 times. Each time it's gotten better. Friendly service, delicious food. Lunch hibachi specials start at $7.99, 7 days a week Was told by waitress today that in December lunch special prices will be available all day/night. Great time to try it. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is they do a few things at lunch to save $, like no bowls for fried rice and had to ask for ginger sauce."
"My Mum and Dad took me here for my birthday and it was so sweet of them to take me here. My sweet Mum always takes her kids to the best places for our birthday and she just gives my Dad the credit too, lol. My birthday runs around and as usual I plan nothing nor say nothing. On top of that I moved into a new home and I was so blessed that I expected nothing else. I was so pleased my parents brought me here because I bookmarked all the great places in Houston, or so I thought. When we pulled up here I was so curious to what it was about and how she found this restaurant before me. It was such a sweet experience! The only gripe was it was a little cold but that goes on the back burner once you started to enjoy the company and ambiance and none of us drink ( I don't anymore) but I'm sure the tables who were imbibing were getting a little warm. The ambiance was lovely. I really enjoyed the live music playing. The servers were long tome employees and did everything right. Not to mention the manager goes around and checks on the tables. We were a little worse for the wear as we were moving and we didn't have time to dress to the nines but we got treated well. We started the meal with calamari which was good. I asked for limes with my water and Sprite (I put limes in everything I drink so I'm probably) and I asked for a lot and I squeezed one on the calamari and it made it so good with that pop of tart lime. So much better than lemon, try it. I would come back for the calamari. So delicioso. This is kind of an Italian forward steakhouse. I have resorted to picking on my company's food as I don't eat much due to surgery so my Mum ordered the lasagna- I think it was an oxtail lasagna or some sort of special lasagna. My Dad ordered the chicken parmesan with linguini and tomato sauce. I ordered creamed spinach and opted to share my parents meals. The lasagna was delicious and was a perfect portion. It was very rich and enough to eat the meal at the table. The chicken parmesan was a huge portion and seasoned and salty in a good way. It was fried well and not greasy at all. The creamed spinach was the best creamed spinach I have ever had. We all raved about it and when I woke up the next day it was gone, lol. The chicken parm was just as delicious the next day. For dessert my Dad ordered the zeppoles- Italian doughnuts with powdered sugar. I initially told him to get something else because I've never liked them but when I tried one that night it was so good! I definitely did not need the scrumptious sauces it came with. I got a cheesecake compliment of the restaurant for my birthday. It was a thick piece that was okay but I can make out when desserts are stored with main foods instead of a bakery refrigerator so that was a tad off buy it was good. Live music on Friday. I tried to get my parents to dance but we were so exhausted we just are and left. Our waiter Corbin was funny so that was a good thing. Great service!"
"I've ordered takeout a few times. I always place an order online and do curbside pick up. I've only dined in once, years ago for a Yelp event. The food is good, but it's definitely not as good as it would be if dining in. I've ordered steak to go twice. I have done the 6 oz. and 9 oz. Flo's Filet. 1st time: I should have ordered it medium like it suggested on the website but I went with medium well. The website warned that the steak will continue to cook, but I live nearby so I figured it wouldn't cook that much longer. My steak was closer to well done when I got home. It still tasted good, but it wasn't as tender as it could have been.2nd time: I ordered the filet medium, and it was basically well done by the time I got home. It was flavorful and surprisingly pretty tender considering it was overcooked (I had no difficulty cutting it with a plastic knife). I've also had the Chicken Fried Chicken. It's massive! It's good, but extremely salty, especially with the cream gravy. The young man that brought out my meal asked me to double check the order to make sure it was correct because I had asked for no dressing with the salad and no bread. I appreciated that. There's nothing worse than ordering take out and then getting home to discover that something is missing or that the order is completely wrong.Sides: I've had the mashed potatoes a couple of times as well as the fried okra (I love it, even though it's usually too salty). On my most recent visit, I ordered the Brussels Sprouts (which costs extra). The Brussels were good but they had a little too much oil. They had a sweetness to them which I enjoyed. The side salad is good and the bread is good, but they give you a mini loaf of bread so I don't always add it to my order. Bottom line: If ordering steak to go, order it 1-2 temp levels below your preference so that it won't be overdone by the time you get home. If you like your steak rare, then dine in at the restaurant and don't bother ordering it to go."
"A good little restaurant. We love that they have a make your own salad with homemade dressings. A good mix of food items. Everything is fresh and hot. The server is very nice and helpful."
"I always get the boiled shrimp and crawfish (xtra spicy for both ) and they always come out amazing ! i wished more people came here , the outside may seem a little run down but the food is incredible !"
"Jesus Christie himself would have loved this place. It's not really the salt of the earth, more like the salt of the sea. But not the Salton Sea, because that's both Val Kilmer, and creepy.I'm not a huge fan of American style seafood, but if you want a decently priced, popular, cute, and centrally located old fashioned seafood place to eat at, you'll love this place. We liked the service, the food was good (nothing was amazing, nothing was awful), and lots of cute people come to eat here. It's not cheap, but it's not as expensive as most Galleria and fancy area seafood places. We'll definitely be back for a second visit."
"Ordered the chopped steak with a salad for $12.99 as a lunch special. The staff seemed not very friendly or happy to be at work. The salad bar was pushed against a wall making it hard to reach items at the back. The salad bar had a good variety and I like that they had pineapple as an option.Cool rustic cowboy decor inside.Metal utensils, ceramic plates and paper napkins.Chopped steak had brown gravy and grilled onions and mushrooms on too and was quite good. Portion size was good.I would come back again"

Hidden Gem! Authentic, Amazing, Mexican food. The Uli's tacos are an absolute party in your mouth of flavors that blend beautifully. The guacamole is freshly made, creamy, and garnished with queso fresco, radish slices, and pomegranate seeds. Yum! The ELOTES DE LA CALLE was too tasty to have just one piece per person. Per the menu it is 4 mini street style corn on the cobb with epazote, lime aioli, queso, and chile de Arbol powderWe also had the SHRIMP AGUACHILE VERDE, Sweet, tender shrimp, pickled red onion, cucumber, and avocado in a serrano habanero lime sauce. Having just returned from the Yucatán peninsula I can attest to the authenticity and the freshest I've had anywhere in the greater Houston area.

Come hungry and don't go nuts at the delicious salad bar.If you want all you can eat meat order the "full experience " which means access to the salad bar trying all the different meats you want. It's around $61. It includes mashed potatoes, fried yucca, and some round cheesy bread. The salad bar has different kinds of prepared salads, some veggies, cheeses, fish ceviche, slices of smoked salmon, quinoa, and couscous. It's all quite tempting but if you get too much you won't have time to try various meats. The "gauchos " come by after you flip your card to green. It can sometimes feel like a frenzy. They ask how you like it cooked and cut based on your choice. From what I remember they had various sirloins, filet mignon wrapped in bacon, ribs, a grilled pineapple covered in honey, lamb, shrimp, and the best part was the picahna. There's a few desserts that are charged separately. E tried a dessert cocktail which was more than enough after all that good.

Best fried catfish in all of Houston & surrounding areas. I've eaten here many times & the quality I'd always consistent. Fish is super crispy on the outside & perfect amount of moisture on the inside. Seasoned just rite (never over salty like most places). This isn't a fancy place. It's just a little country hole in the wall with AMAZING FRIED FISH!!. I drive 45 mins from Katy just to get fish here.

What can I say, I love me some Johnathan's. I usually visit the Memorial location, but they are closed Sunday evenings. This location is conveniently located near the freeway and a little more of a drive for me, but it's worth it.Usually I order seafood at this establishment, but on this occasion I ordered the Hill Country which is fried chicken with a single fried shrimp. The portion was generous and tasty, a southern comfort kind of dish that soothes the soul. The Sriracha cream sauce works very well with it. The Greek salad was delicious, as their croutons are amazing and buttery, as well as home made. I ordered the same signature cocktail twice, and they came out very different from each other. Hrm. Other than that, the meal was awesome. Do order some sides or a salad to accompany your main, because it's not usually included.Reservations are recommended.

Typically I'm not one to participate in any restaurant week, mainly due to my aversion created by my time living in NYC (#1). The spell was broken for this year's Houston Restaurant Week, which ironically featured a New York institution turned international chain in The Palm Restaurant. Habitually, I'm rarely a single-visit reviewer (#2), chain seeker, or downtown diner, but I bend the rules in the name of quality dining companionship. The ambiance is in line with so many Palm locations: intimate lighting, fine dining sophistication, spacious interior, and a slew of caricature decor to immortalize famous people throughout the the establishment. I was particularly tickled by the Houston homage art showcasing Houston Astro players, a nod to oil and gas industries, and local characters. My choices for HRW 2023 was a Palm Caesar salad, along with an 8oz rare filet mignon with garlic mash, finished with a key lime pie for dessert. At $70, it was still a premium meal but a good one at that. While the salad wasn't particularly memorable, my filet mignon was excellent. It was rare but not bloody and the meat quality was exceptional. The sear was just right, the additional 2 oz portion ($15 add on) was good portion wise, and the tenderness of the meat was superb. The mash was a proper personal sized portion, which was tasty with a nice finish. I added my roasted garlic into the mash for additional flavor and it was an indulgent approach to an otherwise average side. My key lime pie was as creamy as it was tart, making for a very good final act for a solid dinner lineup. I saw the zeppoles looking like donut holes and I found the $5 extra for the Junior's cheesecake extremely amusing. (#3)A special shout out to their surf-n-turf special, which was designed for two people that includes a whole lobster split in two and coupled with a 4oz filet, with a choice of an appetizer and dessert. While I didn't try the dish, I was pretty impressed with the amount of lobster meat they had and I appreciate the staff for going extra hard in getting the chunks out.Overall, I appreciated the attentive service (thanks Ramon!), clean bathrooms, and quality eats. Parking is valet with the option of garages across the street. Street parking is also available, which I thankfully scored a spot that didn't charge after 6pm.I'd come back in a heartbeat. It won't take a restaurant week promotion to get my participation next time.__________(#1) NYRW is a gamble. And oftentimes, a losing proposition of mediocre execution for overpriced food. Most locals would rather just pay for the regular experience than get a condensed version of it.(#2) Seeing as I've dined at a number of their sister locations, I felt this was merited.(#3) If it was Eileen's, Veniero's, or Cascon, it'd be a different story.

I ordered a NY Strip medium rare with seasoned rice and brussel sprouts for takeout. It was a great meal overall. The steak was tasty, nicely seasoned, beefy, juicy and tender enough. It also had deep heat flavor from the grill, which was a good thing too. The inner redness was spot on for medium rare. The brussel sprouts were tasty, had a good texture, but a bit too greasy. I drenched some of the grease and I could then really taste the earthiness of the sprouts in that sweet sauce they're cooked in. The seasoned rice was ok, but satisfying as a carb side with my meat n veggie. The service from the togo area was very efficient and friendly on this visit.
Visit Restaurant Page"Came here on a Saturday night for dinner. I was surprised the valet was $20, as there was no sign noting the price, and it was not this high when the place was gatsby seafood. The ambiance is very similar to before, and there are silver balloons and additions to the ladies room which were nice touches. The staff was friendly and helpful. We got the tuna poke and sautéed shrimp appetizers, as the portions were quite large. Their house bread is fluffy and buttery - highly recommend asking for it. I tried the hurricane drink, and it was a lot larger than anticipated."
"One of the top ten pasta/Italian joints since I moved from Chicago to Houston. The restaurant is a little awkward, but it was off hours for lunch so maybe that was the cause. Stood at host table for ten minutes, bartender there at the moment and finally started walking around to see if there was a front entrance. Ran into a server and said I would like a seat. It was very awkward. Then I saw her explaining to the bartender why she sat me. Once seated our server was attentive and super entertaining, dry humor was great. Both dishes were glorious!Do not reference their website for their menu, it is not updated."
"Willie G's Seafood served a delicious lunch on a beautiful day in Galveston. After spending the morning at Featherfest, I joined my mother in law for a late lunch. It's been years since I last ate here, so I wanted to enjoy a couples dishes. I had the Shrimp and Crab salad with balsamic vinaigrette. The shrimp were large and the dressing was lightly drizzled, which is what I prefer. If you like more dressing, you may want to ask for extra on the side. The shrimp were also dipped in a delicious sauce. I also had the Lobster Bisque. The Lobster Bisque was light and complimented the salad very well. My mother in law has the Crawfish Etouffee. It was a large portion, so she was able to take home leftovers. The service was prompt and friendly. As always, the restaurant was very clean and had great views of the pier."
"While downtown for the Michigan game festive we stopped here. It's directly in front of the George R brown convention center. After touring the event I wanted a drink so we sat outside on the patio. There was a bartender stand outside. My husband ordered me vodka and cranberry which came in a to go cup. We didn't eat any food but a server came by to check on us."
"Service and food still top notch. We always bring our out of town friends here for brunch. Our only complaint is each time we come we consistently have an issue using one particular credit card of ours. Managers have tried to get to the bottom of the issue, but it remains a mystery despite the card being fine on our side. Keep an eye out on their specials and drink concoctions. They are always worthwhile."
"This place is amazing. Food was so flavorful. It was crowded and they were short staffed but it was worth the wait. We had the best time and I'll definitely be back. Best in town!"
"Best steaks and seafood in the surrounding counties! The Cajun ribeye is my favorite but they also serve items like gizzards, cfs, hamburger steak, turkey fries (testicles), and much more. You will wait up to an hour for food, but it is deff worth the wait! YOU ARE WARNED! I don't want to see any reviews added later complaining about waiting. Full bar is for legion members only but waitresses can bring drinks out to you."
"Traveling between Houston and San Antonio stopped in to check this place out. Can say it was a solid decision.smallish place attached to a gas station, however restaurant was clean and nicely kept.It was lunch when we stopped and most of the tables were full and the drive through had a few cars waiting. however the service was fast and friendly. The menu has man many options Asian, Creole, Southern Fried, Steak Burgers, and more. Enough options to keep most people happy.I had Crab Rangoons for a starter. There was 5 for $6 not a bad price for the quality and size. They came nicely fried in a wrapper that was not a regular wonton wrapper. This one was a little more flaky and less chewy that normal Chinese takeout. the filling was generous and had a good taste. The sauce seemed to be your standard sweet chili dipping sauce out of a bottle. However this a very big step up from the normal bright red "sweet and sour" sauce you get with them at most places. If you are a fan of Crab puffs give theses a try.For my main dish I went with the Lunch Fried Fish and shrimp. It came with a side salad and another side item I chose fries. The fries were ok not bad. The side salad was about what you would expect some iceberg with a few cherry tomatoes and croutons. The fish fillet was a large piece of fish that was nicely fried. It was a thick cut with a flaky moist inside and flavorful crispy outside. The best this was the batter did not fall off the fish. The shrimp were ok. good size and had an interesting batter. I could not be sure what the batter was somewhere between and Cajun flour and panko. They were yellowish, so I think there could have been some turmeric in the batter. A good cocktail and tartar sauce was provided with the meal.I would highly recommend checking this place out. I also noticed they have a drive though and take call in orders if you are on a time crunch. I now for sure on my next trip down I10 I will be stopping in."
"Angus Grill offers an exceptional churrascaria experience without the price tag or oppulence that one may come to expect from other similar high-end restaurants in the same area of town.I have been here a number of times over the years, and have honestly never been dissapointed with the food, service or atmosphere. The food is just as good as Fogo or Chama, in my opinion. The service and atmosphere are just as comparable, exept I will say it is more laid back. I really cannot find much to complain about. One of the things that stands out to me here is the garlic beef. Every American churrascaria basically serves the same cuts and types of grilled meats, one of them being garlic beef. It is actually my favorite in the genre, and this place serves the best tasting to me (it is extra garlicy!). The other big bonus is the price. At most other places, you can expect to pay nearly $100 a person for dinner. Here it comes out to around $58 a person after tax - not a bad deal!I would highly recommend Angus Grill to anyone looking for a good Brazillian steakhouse experience on this side of town."
"So glad we stopped in for lunch this past weekend! Our green chili queso cheese fries were tasty, and would have been even more so had they drained the green chili pork before placing it on top of the fries - the watery stuff added unnecessary liquid to a dish that would have been better without it.Our party ordered four different burgers. Everyone enjoyed theirs. I loved my jalapeño and cream cheese burger. At my server's suggestion, I ordered the jalapeños grilled. You should, too! The thick slice of cream cheese melted down and the whole flavor thing just worked. No wonder Texas Monthly magazine named it one of the "Top 50 Burgers in the State".The shaded back patio was perfect for outdoor dining. Staff were welcoming and friendly but a bit inattentive; we had to ask them to clear our used appetizer and salad dishes."
"You can't get a view like this at any of the other Churrasco's locations. I've always loved their food. We went for dinner and asked to sit outside, which was my favorite part of being there. Our server was Chris R. and he was absolutely fabulous. He gave great recommendations and was on top of everything. Ordered a mojito. The kids ordered popcorn chicken and slider meals. My husband had the sea bass platter which sits on a bed of pineapple risotto and mango sauce. I had the Pollo Encamisado which is plantain crusted chicken on mashed refried beans, topped with melted cheese and tomatos. I would've given the place 5 stars except for these reasons- the lemonade my kids ordered were almost $6 each (that's pretty steep) and the chicken I ordered used to come with plantains and they swapped these for fries. For the prices they charge, fries is not what I would expect with my meal. That being said, I take the blame for not realizing the menu had been changed. I hope they consider changing it back to the way it used to be. I can get fries pretty much anywhere else and I specifically came here for South American cuisine. Thankfully, the view and service really made this a more pleasant experience."
"If you don't judge it by the exterior, you'll be making a good choice. We went on a Friday evening around 5:30, so were probably beating the dinner rush. My husband ordered a rib-eye cooked medium rare with baked potato and salad. I ordered the fried seafood platter with shrimp, catfish, and stuffed crab. My husband is a steak connoisseur and he said it was the best steak he's had in Huntsville. It was cooked exactly as ordered, perfectly seasoned with just S&P, and had the right amount of grill flavor with just enough "bloody" juice to run his grilled Texas toast through it to sop up all the flavor on the plate. Potato was the run-of-the-mill baked potato. Salad was just iceberg lettuce with tomato and a nice creamy ranch. My platter was all fried seafood with jumbo shrimp coated in a seasoned Louisiana-type batter, fish was clean tasting, crab was of the frozen variety. Fries were a little old but the okra was really nice and crispy. Service was superb. She greeted us when we walked in and made sure we never had a need. Other customers were friendly and even discussed other dishes they prepare that are just as tasty. Will definitely return."
"Celebrating a Friday with my husband at King Ranch Texas Kitchen on Post Oak. This restaurant has a cowboy down home Texas vibe. They have lots of tables and booths. They have a bar area and they also have covered outdoor seating. We went in for a late lunch which was perfect as the restaurant was not as crowded. We started off with a starter of "Brad's Crab Stack" which is Fresh Jumbo Lump Crab Salad, Avocado, Cilantro & Scallion Citrus Salad, Sriracha Aioli this was served with tortilla chips. This looked and tasted delicious!!We then had a house chopped salad. Followed by our main entrees which were the prime rib with sweet potato for husband and the fried shrimp with fries for me. All the food was delicious and cooked well. The service here was great. Lots of free parking available. And yes this is a Landry family restaurant. Go, enjoy and bring your appetite."
"I've been here several times. The 14oz Ribeye was cooked to perfection. Loaded baked potatoe,, the BBQ triple plate ( Turkey, Brisket and Sausage) all was amazing. Each time I come in one of the owners or managers comes by to check on how the food was. They have a Salad Bar that is self serve. Great place to come by yourself or bring the whole clan."
"Our visits to Perry's have waned over the years but we started the new year with some take out and we decided to go back and have a dining experience...we should have gotten takeout instead. Service was super duper slow so much that the manager offered us an appetizer to compensate (it took an hour just for the appetizers to come out) so by the time our main course came out we were eating dinner very late. Food was good however service from our waiter was lackluster. Ugh a lot of money for such an average experience. I still love their lobster bisque and the wedge salad is my favorite but I will be weighing my options of whether I will sit in the dining room the next time I visit."
"The price point for food here was awesome and definitely made us feel like portions were on point for the cost we paid. The again, were from California, so everywhere we go is a bit cheaper when it comes to expenses. The food was delicious and flavorful, presentation can be a bit nicer but I do believe this is a chain restaurant, so they're about quick service and turning tables. We had a table of 8 adults and 2 kids which can be a bit much and chaotic as our waiter had to take several orders in which there was a mistake made - my sister-in-law's meal was completely overlooked and never came out while everyone's meal came out. Other than that, our server corrected the mistake as soon as possible and there were no complaints thereafter. I would recommend getting on the wait-list as soon as possible as this place seems to get packed once doors open. Also, there are a lot of restaurants in this plaza, so parking can be a bit of a nightmare."
"I've passed by here a bunch so decided to try it for happy hour. We were pleasantly surprised to learn they extended their happy hour to 6:30. I had the Roka fashion and asked for no ice and a lemon wedge and it was perfect. My friend got lychee martinis and enjoyed them. We tried a few things on the happy hour menu and the assorted sashimi tacos and dumplings were awesome. The hamachi Serrano roll was good as well. The burger is a STEAL at $9 for the mini burger and fries. We very easily spent $100 but definitely worth the price for 4-5 items (food/drink) per person. Service was great though the marketer manager awkwardly stopped by and told us how to book the private room lol. Parking: complimentary valet right in front. If you pull further down it's a diffenrt valet for the apartments and they will act very confused."
