Food is good Service is greatAtmosphere is good Pot Roast is very good. Home style cooking. The waitstaff is very attentive. I will be making some frequent trips to this restaurant.

Texas tradition is a country style restaurant. Simple. Friendly. Has a decent bar. I've heard about the prime rib so I had to try it. I got the larger portion of prime rib with loaded baked potatoes and fries with white gravy. I've asked for medium rare. When the prime rib came out it was over cooked. I've sent it back and got one that was cooked ALMOST to what I ordered, so I kept it. It was about a medium temperature. The prime rib was chewy, which was a huge disappointment since I've waited so long to try it. The service was stellar despite the food. I should have gotten the chicken fried steak...

They a very yummy chicken fried steak with cream gravy, mashed potatoes, and green beans!! Service is great and attentive, and the ambiance is chill and relaxed! A good go to for delicious food!

Good food. Fast service. Texas Tradition is a consistently nice place to have a meal at.

Great place to eat if you're in Katy, TX. BBQ wings and the steak salad with fresh crumbled blue cheese! Delicious ! Oh and don't forget the onion rings, fried mushrooms and fried pickles! Service was perfect, food amazing, helpings are huge, prices are reasonable, atmosphere is relaxed and place was clean. Looks like a local fav too.

This was our first time here and it was lunch on a Saturday. It was packed so I thought we were at the right spot. Welllllll the service was a little slow to be expected and I do understand that, but when ordering they didn't even ask for the level of doneness to cook my husband's burgers and it came out almost rare. He will not eat red meat. Then if you want fries you have to order separately, which the waiter did not offer, and I had to later, chase him down and ask for. I ordered the steak fingers and substituted out onion rings. The onion rings were hard and not juicy at all. I ate two of them. The steak fingers were nothing to rave about. I was eyeing other people's food choices. If I return, I might try their salad.

I've been coming for years, and tonight was a big disappointment with both the service and food. The hamburger was dry and overcooked. Ordered a cheeseburger, but they forgot the cheese. Asked for lemons for and finally got them on the third request. Saving grace was the steak fingers basket. My friend was really mad when he put a $50 down and the waitress asked if he needed change. Topped it off when they charged us for the cheeseburger that was missing the cheese. Oh, and while the kettle chips were tasty, $4 was a bit steep for the small handful of chips.

Great prices for the portion size! My chicken fried steak and hush puppies were delicious and the service was amazing!! Perfect comfort food. Everybody was very friendly and helpful as well!

The atmosphere is wonderful. Staff was friendly and food was great! We got the fried pickles and I wasn't totally thrilled with the batter. But they were still good. The burgers were phenomenal though.
