Wow.. So very disappointing. Should've stayed closed today. Wilted old salad. And the baby queso you served for the same price. The salmon rock hard. Ordered fried green tomatoes and you gave us like 5 small ones for 5 people. Sides were served in those baby sauce containers. We come here all the time so we noticed. Called ahead yesterday and was encouraged to make a reservation. I asked for a specific server only to have her training someone for the whole restaurant. Just say that. They didn't even ask if we had a reservation on arrival. SMH I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. Don't do training on Mother's Day. Focus! And start serving a fresh salad for once!

EAT HERE! What an incredible place to have dinner despite our large group of 22 people! Considering the small town Texas restaurant stop, our group unanimously agreed that this was a solid place to grab dinner, is family friendly, incredible service and great food for all taste types! Food ordered ranged from burgers, sandwiches, chicken tenders, fish and vegetarian meals and not a single one disappointed! In addition, the service was great and they had quite the impressive acoustic guitar player/singer working her magic on a Thursday evening. Our group thoroughly enjoyed their time and would make a pit stop at this local Texas restaurant anytime.We did call 24 hours in advance to advise of our large group and they were highly accommodating.

Roadhouse Paige is a great place to stop for something to eat. A very nice place with great food and service. It's just off 290 and definitely worth stopping. It's a family oriented place, I'll be back.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. My family and I recommended we come here with some of our friends. I call beforehand and ask if it's okay if we sit outside because we brought a pup. The lady said "yes that's fine". We get there, they seat us outside. 30 minutes passed and nobody came to take our drink order. We ask several servers passing if we could get our server to come outside. We had four kids with us and it was hot! Another 15 mins pass. I walk in and ask the host if we are in an area that doesn't get served. And she said "you are I don't think your server has seen your table" I told her that's a lie. There's huge windows across the whole outdoor section. I could see our table from every corner of the restaurant inside. Anyway, I ask for the manager. She pointed him out at the bar. I stand at the bar, right in front of him, and he basically ignores me. So I finally speak up and say "hey we've been here for 45 minutes almost and a server hasn't even taken our drink order. Can you please send them outside? We have four kids and it's very hot". He looks all flustered and surprised and said he will send "him" out. There's one male server and he was standing right next to the manager. So now he obviously knows we are outside, if he didn't already. I go back to our table and wait another 5 mins. We see our server look right at us from inside the restaurant and walk away. Not one time did any server or manager passing ask us what we wanted to drink. The host should have said there's a wait if the server is too busy. The server should have come out and asked us if we wanted drinks and then mention he's very busy and he might be slower getting to us. Any acknowledgment would have been nice from any employee in the building! Very sad we definitely won't be returning. We used to come here when it was ran by Mike. Lovely manager. Lovely service. Now it's trash. Don't waste your time!

Consistently good burgers and fries. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Seating inside and out are relaxed and welcoming. Ample room for kids to run around and a hefty beer selection. I'm a fan of the Destruction slider- has it all and just the right size. Keep it up, folks.

On a trip to austin we were famished and decided to take a detour and try this place out. This restaurant is well hidden amongst trees and the parking lot is quite rocky but inside the place is very quaint and homey. They really outdid themselves decorating for Christmas. The staff was also very sweet and caring. I ordered the Jalapeno Cream Cheese Burger and let me tell you I was surprised as to how good it was. I was taken aback with the addition of cream cheese, however it complements the burger itself. I can see how this burger is one of the famous must try's. Their fries weren't that special and I wish that they were crispy but overall I'd say that this was a great place and I would go again!

So glad we stopped in for lunch this past weekend!Our green chili queso cheese fries were tasty, and would have been even more so had they drained the green chili pork before placing it on top of the fries - the watery stuff added unnecessary liquid to a dish that would have been better without it.Our party ordered four different burgers. Everyone enjoyed theirs. I loved my jalapeño and cream cheese burger. At my server's suggestion, I ordered the jalapeños grilled. You should, too! The thick slice of cream cheese melted down and the whole flavor thing just worked. No wonder Texas Monthly magazine named it one of the "Top 50 Burgers in the State".The shaded back patio was perfect for outdoor dining. Staff were welcoming and friendly but a bit inattentive; we had to ask them to clear our used appetizer and salad dishes.

WONDERFUL PLACE TO GO!!! Very nice ambiance and excellent customer service. They had billiard tables and lovely lighting. Enjoyable background music. Food didn't take forever to come out. The Jalapeño Cream Cheese Burger lives up to its name. Absolutely delicious. Chicken fried steak had amazing breading, nice crunch, not soggy like most places. The onion rings...don't get me started. Best onion rings I've had in a long time. Something about the breading is *chef's kiss* The milkshake though...FREAKING DELICIOUS. If you love chocolate shakes...this is the place to go!

We drive thru Paige often to head to the coast or Huston but truly didn't know this place existed since it's off the beaten path. I happened to be hungry and looking for something and poof it popped up. So here we go down the back road to this hidden spotWe got there early in the day so it wasn't to crowded. We ordered a couple apps to try and of course since it was voted best I had to try the cream cheese jalapeño burger. The atmosphere was like an ice house bar feel, staff was friendly. It seemed like they have a high turnover since almost everyone was wearing an I'm in training shirt. So when our drinks sat empty and we weren't checked on it was no surprise. The mushroom appetizer and the poutine fry's were both very good and fresh. My burger was pretty damn tasty and the buns they use are amazing! Our only real complaint was our onion rings and truffle fry's were ice cold. My wife's chicken sandwich was seasoned great and was very juicy. We will give them another shot and hope for a lil bit better experience.

My heart hurts to write this review. I have told so many people about this location. It had been a hidden little piece of heaven to stop at on the long drive from West Texas to Houston.I was so looking forward to the meal today. The waitress that took our food order could not have been any nicer. That is the only positive I am leaving with today. Much smaller portions are now served on paper plate and paper bowls. The quality of the food seems to have dropped! Even the welcoming and friendly atmosphere that I have LOVED has disappeared!
