I have been absent from making reviews, however my experience here was so underwhelming that it brought me back just so that save one person from having to suffer. Let's talk drinks first. I came with a group of 11 to celebrate a birthday. We were seated once 7 of us arrived. Once seated we were left for a little over 20 minutes before our drink orders were taken and then it took 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive. While we waited we had to ask for bread. We were a large table and they only brought us one basket of bread. So we had to wait about ten minutes before anyone came back to the table to ask for another basket. When we got the second basket they gave us TWO rolls in the basket. It was like it was too much to give us the bread. The drinks were underwhelming. The food. I had the sea bass. It was buttery and well cooked but the miso ruined it. Every thing I ate besides the bread was salty. We were seated at 7:40 and couldn't leave. Yes I said could not leave until 11 pm. The waiter who took our drink orders left and NEVER returned until we begged for the bill. They had the music club level and flickered with the lights for the first two hours of our stay. If you don't mind horrible service and mediocre food and drinks and like paying 100 dollars minimum a person then this is the spot for you. 1 star. I do not recommend.

Food is amazing!! Vibes are on a 1000000. This is a perfect date spot/bday spot. Caught a late flight in and had reservations at 11:30pm they accommodate every need which most places don't. The hookah is perfection (€40) valet is offered (cost 40). The menu is nice it's fine dining so expect to $$ that. R&b/hip hop was played on the night we were here. It's a Saturday evening. Apparently this restaurant previously known as gatsby prime seafood is under new ownership....but as good as gatsby was it's still the Same if not better.

Came here on a Saturday night for dinner. I was surprised the valet was $20, as there was no sign noting the price, and it was not this high when the place was gatsby seafood. The ambiance is very similar to before, and there are silver balloons and additions to the ladies room which were nice touches. The staff was friendly and helpful. We got the tuna poke and sautéed shrimp appetizers, as the portions were quite large. Their house bread is fluffy and buttery - highly recommend asking for it. I tried the hurricane drink, and it was a lot larger than anticipated.

Upon arriving it took 35 minutes to valet, I had reservations 1hr 40 minutes to sit down, the manager gave us the devil eggs and calamari for our inconvenience which we didn't feel was worth it. Our server was amazing, she made sure every was accommodated even with the terrible food service. It took almost two hours for us to receive out entrees hence this is why there's no picture of my food, the Caesar salad was literally swimming in salad dressing, the fish was okay after I squeezed the lemon juice on it and added salt and pepper with the "truffle butter" (it wasn't truffle butter just better because truffles have a distinctive small).0/10 go at your own risk

This place is huge! They have indoor and outdoor seating. This is a upscale restaurant that also serves hookah. They have live music and a love dj as well. The music was RNB forward which I loved. The service was great and so was the food. Now parking is $20 for valet but you can find street parking if you want to avoid that. I went for brunch and did enjoy myself and so did my friends. One thing to mention is there is no spilt checks. It's only one tab so be prepared to pay all bills on one tab

Would you pay $400 for this dinner? I'm curious about others experience @ocean.12.htx cause maybe they had an off day Parking is atrocious so I suggest getting dropped off or being prepared to pay $40 to valet.I wanted to love the interior so badly but in all honesty I felt like I was eating in a nicely decorated banquet hall it did not give me the "sophisticated, cosmopolitan" experience I expected due to a clash of design choice. The bar was a mood though & I found myself wishing we sat there instead. On to the food...The flavors were great. I highly recommend: Rockefeller & Anaya's Style oysters ($15/4) Ocean salad ($21) Sea bass ($46) topped w/ 2 Shrimp ($12) Lobster Mac ($32) The menu is overwhelming & our waiter didn't make it any better. His delivery felt overly rehearsed & forced which made the ordering process a DRAG! Kudos to him on upselling because it was clear that was his main goal lolWe ordered 4 cocktails which came to $84 It was obvious the focus was on their overpriced specialty cocktails & not the classics because I had to send back a Paloma as I had no idea what it was. So they sent me a ranch water that tasted like straight liquor Salad came out after the oysters which is crazy because it's salad? We sent back the Red Snapper - it was overcooked so we got another sea bass cause it was good af. We asked to share the salad & got charged for 2 instead of one & when we pointed it out the manager argued with us that it was removed when it wasn't My rating 3/5 anything below a 4 and above $400 can never take my money again

Starting from the beginning, we had heard that this new establishment had taken over the location of the former Gatsby Steakhouse. It was unfortunate to learn that Gatsby had closed down.Upon arrival, the valet requested payment before entering the restaurant, which struck us as a bit unusual. However, the steep fee of $40 caught us off guard.Inside, there was no hostess to greet us. The restaurant was mostly empty, with a few large groups scattered around. After waiting for about 5-10 minutes, a man finally approached us and inquired about our reservation before seating us.We placed our drink order, including bottled water, but our server never returned. While we waited, I perused Yelp and was alarmed by the reviews I found.Glancing up, I noticed a few staff members chatting by the bar, with a lone cocktail that I assumed was ours sitting untouched. The bartender seemed preoccupied and not attending to our order. As Boo grew restless, I shared the concerning reviews with him, and he began looking for alternative dining options that were still open. After what felt like an eternity, we decided to settle our bill and depart. Our server was nowhere to be found, so we approached the bartender to pay for our water. After some confusion, she assured us it would be taken care of, and we left after confirming multiple times.I must mention that the decor was stunning, with beautiful velvet blue furniture and exquisite chandeliers. However, the ambiance was overshadowed by blaring sports on large TV screens and deafening music that made it hard to converse with Boo.On a Friday night from 10:00 to 10:30, the place was eerily empty. Despite the evident investment in decor, the combination of loud music, high prices, and poor service does not bode well for this establishment's longevity.
