Our visits to Perry's have waned over the years but we started the new year with some take out and we decided to go back and have a dining experience...we should have gotten takeout instead. Service was super duper slow so much that the manager offered us an appetizer to compensate (it took an hour just for the appetizers to come out) so by the time our main course came out we were eating dinner very late. Food was good however service from our waiter was lackluster. Ugh a lot of money for such an average experience. I still love their lobster bisque and the wedge salad is my favorite but I will be weighing my options of whether I will sit in the dining room the next time I visit.

My wife & I visited Perry's in The Woodlands over the weekend for our 22nd wedding anniversary. I don't feel like we made a mistake, but I do not think that Perry's is going to jump to the top of my list for places I want to visit againFor starters, it was a Friday night, but it was loud inside. I was hoping for something a little more intimate, but we, at our table for 2, had to lean in pretty hard to hear each other. No complaints about the waitstaff or either steak or the shrimp on my entrée, but the lobster tail did not taste super fresh and was very small. We were excited for the brussels sprouts, but they were very salty. The salt was so dominant we could detect no other flavors. Speaking of salty, the Rocky Road bread pudding was just weird IMO. First of all, it was topped with a giant super sweet marshmallow that looks like it was made in house. We ended up taking it off because it was too much. On the bottom, there was some sort of "caramel sauce" that was, again, very salty. In between the very sweet marshmallow & the salty caramel sauce, the bread pudding was very bland & dry.Last thing I'll mention this review is that both cocktails we got were very weak. Felt like they were skimping on the stuff you want in a cocktail. All in all, I feel like we overpaid by $50-$70 for what we experienced -- loud, salty, weak drinks.

Came for the world famous pork chop, left with a stuffed belly. Great food, service and ambiance. Hubby and I came for the Second Chance Valentine dinner. Tried their turtle gumbo, which had actual Louisiana turtle in it, and it was really delicious. But the highlight was the World Famous Pork Chop. It's massive, not just in size, but also in flavor. It was a little on the sweet side for me, but it was good. Not chewy or overcooked. Parking is convenient. They get packed, so recommend making reservations.

I love Perry's Steakhouse & Grille for one thing --- their famous Pork chop! It's possibly the best pork chop I've ever had. It's sweet-savory seasoning blend is perfect, and the hearty portions leave you satisfied. The pork chop is beautifully carved table side into different cuts (the eyelash, loin, and ribs). I enjoyed tasting the different flavor profiles of each unique cut. The best times to try the Pork Chop are during their specials. -Friday Lunch 10:30 AM - 5 PM for $19 lunch cut -Sunday $49 3 course supper (soup/salad, pork chop, dessert trio)I'm not a fan of their steaks, but the appetizers, side dishes, and desserts I have tried have all been great. The ambiance of the restaurant is very classy and beautiful, as you would expect from a steakhouse. The service has always been top-notch. Never experienced an issue. This is definitely a restaurant you can take someone you want to impress, but make sure to try their special pork cup at least once!

Not sure why I haven't reviewed Perry's sooner?? Have been going to this location since it's soft opening forever ago.......live 5 minutes away. I felt compelled to write now due to a recent experience of a mess up and quick resolution, which transcends the food. I'll start with the end.....Got home after dinner with my wife, one of many impromptu dinners at Perry's The Woodlands. The next day I realized my receipt was dramatically wrong. It appeared that I had been charged $290 for an item, that was supposed to be $99 from the seasonal specials menu. I called and asked for a manager about a billing dispute, was promptly connected with the GM Ashley who was able to quickly look up my ticket through date and name on the reservation. She could not explain the error, but was shocked at the huge billing discrepancy. She expressed a sincere apology and recalculated what the bill should have been and even asked if she wanted her to adjust the gratuity amount to reflect the lower total........ I said no on lowering the tip, we've enjoyed very good service on more than one occasion with Michael. To me it's a testament to how organizations respond to adversity and resolving customer problems is a truer measure of " outstanding customer service." It should be easier to get things right upfront, but when things go wrong, do you respond quickly to resolve or run, hide, deny, evade. We've been frequenting the Perry's Woodlands since it opened for dine in and takeout. Outstanding consistent food and service. It's also our go to place for celebrations with my 90 tear old in-laws that never go out anymore unless we take them. Perry's accommodates with a roomy quiet table for walkers and canes! Perennial favorite dishes: Pork Chop, Cedar Plank Fish, various salads, my Old Fashioned, wine selection, NY Strip blackened with Cajun seasoning.I'm picky about 5 stars, but consistency has earned it!We have been going to the

Always an amazing fine dining experience at Perry's. Love the ambiance. The service is always on point. Great selection of wines and steak. We enjoyed the Perry's filet which was wrapped in bacon and topped with crab meat. The crème brule was the best I've ever had. Pro tip. Go on a Friday for their pork chop lunch special. It will blow your mind. Highly recommend.

Perry's in The Woodlands is one of my favorite places to dine with friends and family. The food, service and ambience are consistently outstanding. The pork chop is delicious and smoked with apple wood. It's also more than one person can eat in one sitting so you can count on having enough for another meal the next day. Perry's also offers weekly specials for takeout.

An old friend who's lived in the area for a while took me to Perry's for a celebratory lunch. The ambiance is relaxing and the lunchtime noise-level is low enough to allow diners to hear each other's conversation. We were seated without a wait, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal.I'd spent several hours in the gym that morning and was hungry enough to eat a bear (Maybe not a Grizzly, but certainly Yogi Bear ;-) After looking over the menu and being coached by both my friend and our server, I decided to opt for the Perry's Pork Chop Friday Lunch Special. Tip: Orders for the Friday Pork Chop Special must be placed between 10:30am and 5pm on a FridayWhen it arrived, that Ginourmously delicious pork chop did justice to my appetite, and then some! It's a lunch-cut portion of Perry's Famous Pork Chop served on a hot cast-iron plate with whipped potatoes, homemade applesauce and bread. It was all so good that Yogi didn't know what hit him - my lunch vanished in just a bit more than the blink of an eye! ;-)I somehow found room to share a dessert with my friend, and then we both departed - completely stuffed and content. I look forward to returning for dinner sometime soon.

We had an amazing meal tonight with the best server, Sarah W. She picked our sides and they did NOT disappoint. If you have not tried the corn brûlée, oh my you are missing out. It was so delicious. I can't wait to go back and get it again.
