In some ways it becomes something of a race war because this is Louisiana Soul Food Cajun Style and uses real hot sauce and real flavours, and Chick-fil-A is just literally spiceless and flavourless. It's also more expensive and more obnoxious politically.But this particular location does have a few things missing and some of the service and especially some of the chicken, is not up to scratch."

"My son and I stopped in here after a day of shopping at the outlets nearby. We wanted something quick but also new to us. We don't have any Zaxby's on our side of town, so we decided to try it out. The place was empty and kind of dirty. The floors were dirty and there were not many clean tables to choose from. The staff was friendly. We both decided on the boneless wings and tenders combo. You can't really go wrong with that right? It ended up being a solid meal, nothing mind blowing by any means. We also got an order of white cheddar cheese curds to share. These tasted pretty strange and we couldn't really put our finger on what cheese flavor we were tasting. Overall, our tummies were full, but there was nothing that would make us seek out another Zaxby's in the future."

This order of marinated meat sitting over some good ol' sticks of potatoes is sure to stick to one's ribs! And for the chicken wing enthusiasts who prefer their bird on the saucy and spicy side, the Spicy Galbi Wings were just that: saucy and spicy! Not only did I enjoy every bite, I returned to the place the same day to savor the flavor! "So I came to Houston for 24 hours, I was on Almeda getting my hair braided. I needed something to eat before I headed back to Dallas. I had a hard time deciding on the chicken wings or fish. I thought the fish would be easy to eat while I drive so I ordered the fish and fries. Can I just tell you I was a little hesitant about having my fish dipped in a hot sauce, but this had to be the best DAMN catfish I have ever had. Point blank in my life, I had to pull over so I could look at this fish to figure out why was it so good. I also got the strawberry lemonade should've grabbed two. Let's just say it took me longer than I anticipated getting back to Dallas because of me pulling over to really concentrate on the fish. Hands-down can't wait to get back to the H make sure you stop by the food truck on Almeda."

"This truck was 1 of the 3 that were outside of our building today. I had already tried one of the trucks previously, so I wanted to try something new. After taking a look at the menu, I saw this was sort of a Cajun/creole styled menu. I was surprised this business was on FB and Twitter, but not Yelp as of yet. The menu ranged from chicken tenders to wings to boudin balls. The boudin had me sold. They also offered a crawfish boudin ball. I opted in for the six wing combo, flavored with their specialty sauce as well as an all lemon pepper flavor. I told them I didn't want any fries but wanted to pay the difference for a boudin ball, but they didn't allow that. Gave me one extra wing instead of the two the lady who took my order said they would, but oh well we weren't going to eat that much anyway. My friend got the chicken tender special, tangy Asian or something of that nature. Flavor: the wings were excessively salty. & I am someone who usually complains of lack of seasoning. These were just so much! I couldn't really savor the flavor. I patted them down and was able to eat that way. They were pretty good! But my mouth was watering for the boudin ball, so I was disappointed. The boudin was just so flavorless! Now, this could be because my taste buds were ruined from the excessive salt on the wings, but I love boudin and was so disappointed I couldn't taste any of the flavor. As to my friend's food, when they gave us our food they told us they didn't have any tangy Asian so they put a cup of ranch in. Would have been good to be asked how they could accommodate the change in our order. None the less, we had already waited long enough for our food and it was cold so I just advised to let it be.The ladies operating the truck were very courteous and friendly. Kept a warm smile on their faces. Should this truck return, I do plan on giving it another go. I will update if my experience is any different! For now, all stars are given to friendliness. Due to excessive salt in one area, no flavor in another, & lack of offering customer accommodation, I have taken away two stars."

Honestly, I don't frequent often but the fried chicken and biscuits are quite good. They rolled out 2 new chicken sandwiches years back and people were accosted, assaulted, addicted, excited, and even m*rdered over that sandwich. I refuse to eat that sandwich based on that alone but truly those sandwiches are still selling out like hot cakes!I have a love hate relationship with meat and eat very little so sides are my jam!I love the hot, crispy, and well-seasoned French fries from Popeyes! "I've seen this truck at the local gas station for at least a couple of years, since I moved to the Medical Center area, and I've been curious. The cost of food has made me a bit leary, because I've paid tens of dollars for food from food trucks that don't equal the quality of the food. I was extra cautious when I saw the images of chicken tenders being used on the sandwich, instead of a chicken breast. Last week, I just threw caution to the wind and my kiddo and I went all in....and...it...was...worth it!Prices still make my head spin, especaily when I saw that there was an option for one or two tenders on a bun. Well, the size of the tenders were like a scene from The Flintstones (Google it, Gen Xers!) where when you ask for ribs you get dinosaur sized ribs. Theses tenders were huge...and the taste was just as huge! Very flavorable, indeed! Can't leave out the fries, which were seasoned to perfection! The guy in the windows seemed to be all business (I guess that heat will make you have a straight face) and the wait wasn't long at all. My kiddo was impressed! I'm actrually craving Bad Chx, right now!"

I haven't been to Timmy Chan in years so when I passed by this night I decided to see if the food was still good from back in the day. Customer service is lack luster. It's the food that gets the 5 stars. I ordered the wings and rice w/ gravy. Wings were fresh and steaming hot. When I made it home my food was still hot. My food was good. Don't sleep on the OG Timmy Chan. This hit the spot on a late hungry night."

What I also like about this business is that he does give back to the people. After the late night business he does go out and feed the homeless, as they were out the helping and feeding people that was effected from Harvey. Good people go out and support him. Must. We got curly fries and a whole chicken. Portion size is very fair and the chicken is sauced very well and overall very solid KFC. Although it's classified as level four I think It should be level five. The Nashville hot was also pretty good. Asian zing was also very flavorful and so was the Caribbean jerk. I've also tried their level five spice wings which are considered the hottest. They have desert heat and Carolina reaper. They do have specials on Tuesday nights where bone in wings are buy one get one and on Thursday nights the special is for boneless wings, buy one get gone.Last but not least, you should join the reward program to earn enough points to redeem for food later"
