Why don't people like this place?I've only had good experiences dining in and in the drive thru. Eating there in person, what I liked was that the clientele was diverse. Like everyone was there. Rich uppity people with kids. Poor folks on a break. I don't get to see that kinda mix of people in my daily life, so it was nice to see while dining in.The place was clean and they staff kept up with the pace. Drive thru gets crazy busy by noon, but they seemed to move the line really fast and efficiently. As for the food. If you know, you know. I like the spicy chicken, the tenders, the chicken sandwich which has seriously been improved since they first attempted a knock off chick fil a sandwich. The mashed potatoes. The biscuits. Like who doesn't like popeyes?You know who doesn't like popeyes?Vegans and people who hate spice.For a Popeyes, this is a nice place. If you like Popeyes. Come here.If you hate spices and meat, well you probably would never have gone here to begin with.

Mrs and I have been eating fried chickens from Popeyes for over 40 years. We had tried other fast food fried chicken shacks in Houston and other parts of the USA, Popeyes is second best in our opinion. The chicken pieces at this location were big and fried perfectly. The biscuit was moist, soft, buttery, and melt in your mouth. The Cajun fries were forgettable. We should had gone with red beans and rice instead. The chicken sandwich was really good, the best in the fast food world. Counter service was friendly and quick. Prices were reasonable. We received a sheet of coupons with our meal, definitely will use.

In some ways it becomes something of a race war because this is Louisiana Soul Food Cajun Style and uses real hot sauce and real flavours, and Chick-fil-A is just literally spiceless and flavourless. It's also more expensive and more obnoxious politically.But this particular location does have a few things missing and some of the service and especially some of the chicken, is not up to scratch.

For what it is, their sandwich is much overhyped and not very good.. definitely prefer chick fil a spicy sandwich over this.. the sandwich is just bread, sauce, chicken, sauce, and bread.Unsurprisingly for any Popyes location, the customer service is pretty awful. Have you ever seen someone put 2 bottom buns on a sandwich? Do the people working there have the IQ of a brick or a doorknob??

my sons first time having fried chicken and Jacob helped get him a few pieces and he is now so excited to eat Popeye... No more nugget meals!great service and now have a forever customer thanks to Jacob working the counter

This location used to be good, but has gone way down in service and quality recently. The menu says that all combos come with a biscuit, but I was then informed that my sandwich combo doesn't come with a biscuit. When I asked why not, they just told me that "the menu is now incorrect". I was a bit confused why they left on incorrect menu on the screen? Also, I didn't receive a straw for my drink.Hoping my next experience will be better...

Food was terrible. It must have need sitting under their heat lamp for most of the day, all dry at best. Stale biscuits. I'm assuming since I was ordering through drive-thru they knew I wouldn't check to see what they put in my order. No pride what so ever. I will never go back to this location EVER.

Tried to order 6 pc wings for $5.99. . Rudest lady ever at the window with an accent. Guess she was trying to say those were for the ghost pepper wings but we couldn't understand her. She was hollering. Learn how to talk to people or get another job!

January 8, 2024~ 10:35 I made the order from just a few minutes away via the app.Ordered 6 piece sweet and spicy wings and a spicy chicken sandwich meal with Cajun fries and a small sweet tea.Got to the drive through in just a couple of minutes to where I'm notified that they are out of wings. I ask how do I get my money back. I was told that since I ordered on the app, I would have to call them to get a refund. I get to the window and ask the guy if they can sub in something for the wings of similar value instead of me going through the hassle of working through the app to get my money back. Without asking what I would like, they just gave me second sandwich with more Cajun fries. I ask him why he didn't ask me what I would have liked for a substitute for the wings. He said this is all we can offer with that value. This is all a lie. The wings were $5.99. A second sandwich + fries (basically a combo) was $8.59. Mind you, we are trying to sub for a wing value of $5.99 but subbed in a higher value sandwich but what if I didn't want another sandwich? What if this was for someone else. Frustrated I leave knowing the person at the window likely quit school in the 6th grade giving his blank look when I tried to reason with him and the math associated with his reasoning. I digress...I get just out of the drive, grab a fry from the bag to discover, yep, you guessed it, ice freakin' cold. Checked the fries in the other bag, just as cold. Knowing a man has to pick his battles, I elected to accept my losses here and simply give my review in hopes to save the next poor soul who may happen to wander to this Popeyes in the evening hoping that by some miracle, this chicken place would actually have CHICKEN! Negative stars not possible so here is my 1 star review. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this and go to Whataburger around the corner to sate that evening appetite.

went to Popeyes today at lunch, the person at the register was a little bit I don't know how to describe her! Now, I didn't know that you had to pay for dipping sauce a customer asked for for his chicken sandwhich, maybe if you want extra, then they might charge a fee. Also, I didnt know you didn't get a biscuit with the ghost pepper wing combo. I thought the biscuit came with all combos!. I didn't particuliarly like her attitutde! food was ok,NOTHING TO RUN BACK TOO!
