"Came here recently with my husband and sister-in-law per her suggestion, and it was absolutely delightful. I will 100% be back here! When walking in, the place is pretty small; however, the decor is cute and there are some tables outside which make the restaurant seem a bit larger because the outside doors were kept open so the waitress could easily move in and out. There are hanging string lights on the ceiling, creating to a calm atmosphere, and the walls have cute arches and paintings. At the far end of the dining room, there is a register and counter where customers can pick up their take-out orders, and behind the counter is the kitchen. As we walked in, we were told to sit anywhere. Most tables were admittedly dirty with a ton of food and crumbs all over, but admittedly, only one woman was waitressing all night, and she was also the one handling tables, cleaning, and take-out orders. She was a great waitress and was attentive to our table even though she was alone. My sister-in-law comes here often, and she believes the woman we had is an owner along with her husband who is a cook in the kitchen. I'm unsure if anyone else works with them, but she said she sees them both every time she stops here. We ordered the regular order of hummus ($8.99) and it came with delicious bread. We also asked for some cut veggies on the side, and she happily did so and gave us fresh-cut cucumbers and carrots. The hummus was delicious and homemade. It was so creamy and delicious. For my meal, I ordered a chicken kebab plate with 1 skewer ($14.99). Let me tell you, this was the BEST CHICKEN I have ever had. It was charred and fresh off the grill. I have never had such moist chicken that was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was wonderful. The plate also came with a side of delicious rice and a fresh house salad. Both my husband and sister-in-law loved their food, as well. Since my sister-in-law has been here before, she ordered the chicken kebab pita sandwich ($9.99) she normally ordered. My husband ordered the same thing as me, but he got two skewers instead of one ($19.99). If you aren't a fan of chicken, or you don't want a plate or a pita, they have tons of other options to choose from. I truly believe anyone can find something they'd enjoy on the menu. They also offer beef kebabs, plates of pasta, fish plates, salads, soups, and more. Overall, this place is amazing and the owners are doing a wonderful job with their menu and cooking. On the other hand, I think they would benefit from having a busboy cleaning the tables. I will definitely be back here again, and I can't wait to try the other menu options!"
"Whoa whoa WHOA. Are you kidding me?? Never reviewed Zaytune??? Get outta here. I haven't been to Zaytune much in the last five years because I don't work in the neighborhood any longer and the one that opened in Lincoln Square didn't last a year. It's kind of fast-casual in its approach; there are several tables but you order at the register and pick up your food when it's called out; you also pick up your own silverware and bus your table. This review is clearly long overdue. Zaytune is one of my favorite Mediterranean places; the food is so darn good. I get the chicken breast plate and it's always so delicious. Their lentil soup is pretty good as well. The herbed fries are amazing and I am so glad my friend ordered them because I totally forgot. They come with a kalamata olive sauce that is a great accompaniment to them. There are a couple downsides. The prices are really high. Other mediterranean places I go to are often less expensive but have larger portion sizes--I usually have leftovers but not at Zaytune. The other problem--out of their control, of course--is parking. People like to complain about parking on the north side but every time I've gone to Zaytune I have struggled to find a parking space. We almost skipped it and went to Antique Taco instead but just happened to get lucky and find not only one but two spaces by our second or third spin around the block. You can order to go if you'd like to avoid the parking problem."

The term "shish kebab" comes from the Turkish words "i" (skewer) and "kebap" (grilled meat), referring to the method of cooking meat on skewers over an open flame or grill. To make chicken shish kebab, boneless chicken breast or thigh meat is cut into cubes and marinated in a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, yogurt, and a blend of spices such as paprika, cumin, and oregano. The marinated chicken pieces are then threaded onto skewers along with vegetables like bell peppers, onions, and cherry tomatoes to add color and flavor.Chicken shish kebabs are known for their tender, juicy meat, and the flavorful combination of spices and herbs used in the marinade.

"Came here for lunch on a rainy day and the place had such a peaceful ambiance! The floors are painted a serene turquoise. When you sit by the window watching it rain outside while you have your lunch, it brings peace into my heart!Besides that, service was friendly. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Water and utensils are self service. Food is provided with generous portions at a affordable price! We got the Lunch Special Chicken, Steak, Falafel and a Lamb Koubideh plate. Both came with seasoned rice, pickled veggies, a roasted half tomato, sauce, cheese, creamy hummus, & a half a pita! So much food! The meats were super tender and flavorful. All the food items went really went well together. We will definitely be back."
"I haven't gotten to try Medi yet, but was excited to see the old Hush place be renovated into yet another Mediterranean restaurant in Chicago. To be honest, I'm not sure how well this restaurant will do compared to Lyra or Aba, but considering it's in a totally different area there is some potential! Service was great and decor was nice and club-esque with some classiness to it. There was supposed to be a live performance after our dinner (Friday around 7pm), but we didn't want to wait long for it. I got the tough love cocktail to start; however, this wasn't what I imagined - it was much more on the sweeter side with little spice. We started with the hummus, and this was delicious with the warm pita. DI loved the crispy chickpeas that garnished the dish. My friend and I also shared the fattoush, which was a nice refreshing salad, and the steak frites. The steak frites was super small, but it was deliciously cooked and the Lebanese potatoes were so tasty. The price was expected for an upscale city restaurant. I would recommend trying this spot out for a cute night out, to see the live performance maybe, or a for a swanky date night!"
"A good friend of mine recommended this place for good persian food. Welp... I should have listened to her sooner. This is a hidden gem in the city I believe it recently moved from a nearby location. We arrived about 15 minutes before the lunch specials were up and so we promptly ordered so that we could try a variety of different things. To start you do have to order at the counter however they will let you sit down and then come up in order so that was nice. Additionally they do not sell beer and wine in the restaurant, however you can bring your own and there is a small corkage fee ($6 bottle of wine & $1 for each beer). So BYOB. We weren't prepared for this so we had to go across the street to the local liquor store which had plenty of cold options to purchase. Onto the food my dish was the Chicken thigh Kabob and the Beef Koubideh Kabob. The beef koubideh kabob was a skewers of juicy, charbroiled, seasoned ground sirloin, served with grilled tomato. Everything was so flavorful. In addition to the meats my plate featured a cranberry rice (upcharge) cucumber salad, hummus and soft pita bread. My husband grabbed the chicken breast kabob with grilled veggies instead of rice. The food was plentiful and we were able to take some left overs home. We went here on my birthday and so it was a vibe but I really wish I would have some dessert as it looks really. All in all very nice lunch. I would definitely come back to try some more of the different entries and also I realize they have some dishes that are normally are hard to find: Baba Ghannouj, Dolmeh, Persian Salad and Falafel. I also peeped that they had this black persian tea that everyone was buying and I wish I would have purchased some of the raw tea leaves to go which they did have for sale. You have not been I would definitely say come try this fresh family friendly restaurant."
"Really good in the neighborhood. The menu is just the right amount of choices and the offerings seem authentic. Very clean and well appointed. Plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy your meal. Some of the better Mediterranean and gyros I've had in Lakeview. Full of flavor with homemade tiziki and pita bread. great choices on side dishes like the fried potatoes are excellent and non greasy. Surprisingly good price points and an all around an excellent choice for lunch or dinner on Broadway in Lakeview."
"Another great restaurant in the Wicker Park area. I loved the authentic Greek food and how the dishes are small enough to try several different ones. I generally find Greek food to be quite bland but I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors of the dishes we got. We got the beets, lamb and rice stuffed cabbage, sesame pastry, and the wild boar. The beets were a bit underwhelming, as they weren't anything special. But everything else was very unique and extremely tasty. My favorites were the lamb and rice stuffed cabbage and the wild boar. The wild boar was soft and tender and paired wonderfully with what I can only imagine was handmade pasta. Would definitely come again and try more dishes!"
"Tried this place over dinner on a Thursday night. The owners were polite and warm. We ordered one veggie platter and Lamb Patter with one extra skewer. The veggie platter was delicious. I specially liked the salads and the falafel wasn't dry at all. However, my husband didn't like the lamb platter much as the the meat was just ok.There is plenty of parking as it's located in a plaza. The ambiance was decent. I would recommend this place and try it out for yourself!"
"Wow, I've driven by here many times but never went in. My loss cause the food is fresh, delicious and reasonably priced for the portion size and quality. Local family run establishment exudes the hard work and pride of ownership. Easy street parking."
"I visited Shawarma Garden and I was totally impressed. I was visiting from New Jersey, which has its own excellent shawarma, and I came in with no expectations. I ordered the Gyro sandwich, the Fattoush salad, and a falafel platter to share. Everything was amazing! The dressing on my salad was particularly fantastic. The staff was friendly and even delivered our food to our table and they remembered exactly what each of us ordered. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!"

Good food and good service. My three pictures I included are of the Beef Shish Kebab, jalapeño poppers, and the side salad served to begin the meal. Besides the beef, which was excellent, the plate has the rice (saffron probably?) which was very tasty and the parsley and onion salad with some seasoning on it. Not sure what it was but it was very good. Two sauces came with the meal, a very hot red sauce and a garlic white sauce. Used that white sauce on some of the meat but it also pairs very nicely with the pita bread that comes with the meal. The poppers were also quite good (and there were several more; we ate a bunch before I thought to take a picture). Not overly hot but just right. There was enough food to fill you up and it was reasonably priced. They do have a credit card surcharge of 3% so you may want to pay cash if you have it with you. The restaurant is clean and neat, and nothing fancy, but the food and an attentive cashiers/order taker/server/everything person made the meal go great. I don't live too near here and found it almost by accident since it just happened to be near where I was. I would make the trip to come back.

This was my first time to Noon O Kabob, and I was very happy with my choice to try it out! Everything we ate was wonderful. The best part of the meal hands down was the protein. Every single type of protein we tried (both lamb and beef koubideh, Lamb Kabab, Chenjah, and Joujeh) were DELICIOUS. They were so hot, fresh, cooked perfectly (juicy), tender, and extremely flavorful. The dill rice was delicious. The veggies on the side and piece of feta cheese were a nice compliment. The mashed eggplant appetizer was probably the least successful of the dishes, only because it was not what I am used to. I come from an Arabic household, so I tend to have very high standards for food like this. I was very impressed.Really the only disappointment of the meal was the pita bread. When the rest of the food is so authentic, fresh, and delicious, I am expecting the bread to live up to the same standard. Unfortunately, the bread they serve at Noon O Kabob is the lowest quality store bought pita bread that Arab people don't even prefer to buy from the Arab stores. I understand if they do not have the capacity to make their own fresh bread, but I know that they could buy better quality and better tasting pita from Arab grocers or other Arab bakeries in the area.

Mya is one of the SEXIEST restaurants I have visited in Chicago. Recently opened this past October, this NEW, modern Mediterranean restaurant in Rivernorth is definitely an experience, with their FIRE DANCERS, speciality cocktails and BEAUTIFUL decor!Eats I tried:Baba Ghanoush Potato BorakGrilled Octous BBQed Half Chicken Biryani Ora King SalmonRicotta Fritter Drinks I tried:Smoke Show - made with Mezcal!Apple of my Eye - includes Basil Hayden & Apple SyrupI can't even pick a dish that was my favorite because everything was so full of flavor! I'm such a fan of Mediterranean food and the flavor composition of these dishes were just awesome. The presentation of the dishes as well were top-notch! The skin on the salmon was cooked so crispy, and the meat was so soft; it melted in your mouth! The potato borak was excellent -fried dough full of seasoned mashed potatoes! I LOVED THE DRINKS! They were very well made and creative and they have quite a few specialty cocktails to try! You also didn't have to worry about missing out on entertainment, because the fire dancer came out about every 30 minutes or so; she also switched up and danced with scarves! Definitely a Mediterranean experience!Perfect for a date night or girls night out - make a reservation and experience Mya yourself!

When you first go in they ask if you want to eat in or take out. We went for dine in. So we got sat down in the dining room. When your ready to order you go to the front to place the order and pay. .I ordered the lamb kebab and filet mignon kebab with dill basmati rice. Also got the tomatoes lentil vegetarian soup. And some turkish coffee. .The kebab plate is big and the portion is alot. Easily split between 2 people. I loved the meat, it is so flavorful, temperature hot. The rice was fluffy and moist. Paired with my tomatoes lentil soup is perfect pairing. .I had a good dinner with my friends. I'm so grateful to have a friend to show me their favorite neighborhood eats. I am glad I got to try something authentic. .Turkish coffee is served in a little ladle copper shot . The turkish coffee is small but strong and flavorful. .Overall I really like the food. The service is great and on it. They have great service on checking up. Hope this review helps. Thanks for reading. Have a yelptastic day. Follow me for more.

The restaurant is small, but cozy. We had a falafel sandwich wrap, and a gyro. Both were very good. The Taziki sauce on the euro was outstanding. Also had some fries which had a great little spice chick, and a nice dipping sauce that comes with. The service was excellent too. They gave us plenty of options to customize our wraps. We will definitely be back.

I've found my new favorite Greek Restaurant in Chicago. The decor and atmosphere at Taxim definitely reflect the cuisine and the outdoor roof patio is gorgeous. The menu is a bit intimidating at first (it was all greek to me!) but the servers were all patient and knowledgeable. The food feels very authentic and not catered towards "typical American" audiences which is very rare. I truly felt transported while dining here.

"Grateful to be here on the Orthodox Easter with 2 of my close friends to celebrate my 2nd chance in life after the stroke ordeal! We started off with calamari and saganaki. Both was fried to perfection and delicious! For the main dish, I choose chicken kabob. It came with 2 skewers of white meat, tomato, onions, tzatziki sauce and 1 pita bread. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned. There were enough tomato and onions to me to make small sandwiches using the pita. My friend opted for the roasted lamb from their Easter Special menu. She said it was very good. Her husband's chicken and pork skewers entree was equally good! They have a large parking lot with ample spaces for their customers. Large group for parties can be accommodated. The entire staff was pleasant and helpful.I've already made plans to take my family to the establishment soon!"
"I met a friend here for a weeknight dinner. We needed a place between the areas we live and, because she was leaving from dinner for a drive of a few hours, we also wanted something relatively quick. She suggested Zad and I eagerly agreed. It was quiet there at 6:30 on a weeknight. We arrived at the same time as another party of two and offered to let them order ahead of us. They were a little slow but that gave us plenty of time to browse the menu and make decisions. Zad operates as fast casual - you order at the counter and then pick up your food when it's ready (or, in our case, a staff member brought it out to us). The food is prepared quickly, or at least it was during our visit, and is made fresh to order.I had the falafel entree, which came with two sides. I chose baba ghanoush and rice. The falafel was seasoned well and fried to a crisp while still being tender inside. The baba ghanoush was delightfully smoky and garlicky. My entree came with two fresh, warm pita, perfect for dipping in the eggplant. We also shared hummus, which has now ruined all other hummus for me for at least a month. The restaurant was clean and quiet. In addition to the party who ordered ahead of us, there was one other table with a family. It was an easy place to catch up over delicious food and enjoy our visit."
"I visited this Turkish restaurant for the first time with a friend, and the experience was delightful! Initially, walking into the market area can be a bit confusing, but if you continue to the back of the store, you'll find the entrance to the restaurant. The interior feels like stepping into Jasmine's castle from the Disney movie, adding a touch of magic to the ambiance. For our appetizer, we ordered the Hummus with Pastirma, which was delicious. I chose the Chicken Shish Kebab for my main course, and it was incredibly flavorful. To drink, I opted for the mixed fruit juice, which was both refreshing and tasty.I appreciate Turkish cuisine because it is light and refreshing, rather than too heavy. This restaurant truly captures that essence."
"I was Intrigued by the Mediterranean look of the food but the taste knocked me off my high horse from thinking I knew what it was. WOW! I had the steak and chicken bowl and let me tell you, it was fresh and amazing in taste. It consisted of not only red onions diced up but of chicken and steak. I wouldn't think that combination would work but it does. Tomatoes were friesh and I believe it had some sort of fluffed up rice. Very good in texture but very good in look also. The guy who served me my plate was meticulous in how he made it and for being a fast paced area, he took his time in how it was presented. When I asked him why he did it this way seeing as this is a fast paced mall, he simply said: If you like the presentation, the taste will bring you back since we eat with our eyes first. Wow, that was the right answer. He made sure I had not only my cutlery (plastic set of course) but that I had any condiment that would enhance the flavor. How thoughtful of him to think outside of the box for someone who is new to this restaurant/kiosk at the end of the mall. I was happy as well as content with the food and I have already gone back 4 times. Never disappointed. Try them out and you will see."
"One of the better Greek street food places downtown, and it's a great place to get cheap eats while visiting Northwestern Hospital. They don't stray far from traditional gyros sandwiches, rice, and basic Greek-style desserts. The place is clean (you'd expect that, being in a hospital food court), and the employees are always nice."
"Came here for an 11 am weekday lunch/brunch? Not sure if this is the same menu that they use for dinner, available at 11 am, but it was fine. (Pro tip: make a reservation in advance)Definitely a trendy spot to visit. Beautiful decor and design, as well as the location on the beach, plus frozen bevvy flights - the girlies will flock here.Speaking of, while I was there, Shore Club was also hosting an influencer event (spotted a few of the LIB girls!). I think the event planners could've done a little more work to move the IV drip station out of the direct line of sight of guests of the regular dining guests because PINCH was on full display when you immediately walked into the restaurant. Really, not appetizing to see people connected to IVs and getting needles injected while you eat. Food was good. I had the Mikanos board, which was exactly like the description said: pita, chicken, and halloumi. They could've done better to add a little tomato or cucumber to balance the meal. Meanwhile, my friend got the Turkey club sandwich which was about 7" tall and there was no possible way to eat that in a graceful or handheld way, and it didn't come with a side. I think Shore Club should refine their menu a little bit and clearly differentiate between lunch and dinner (they also had sweet brunch items listed on the same menu, so it was just a cluster of everything they serve at all times during the week, but you can only get brunch on weekends so it was a tease)."
"This was our first trip to Mizrahi Grill since it moved across the street inside Mizrahi Market. This is a kosher Mediterranean restaurant, casual, no hormones, using fresh ingredients and spices. So it takes a little longer and costs more than fast food. You order at the counter and they bring out your food. I had a pub purger piled high with grilled onions, lettuce and tomato. The fries can be inside the burger or on the side. The burger was tasty and juicy. The fries were thick and square cut and perfectly crisp outside and tender inside. My friend enjoyed the falafel pita with fries inside (although very messy).Fairly quick, good and fresh tasting food. Would come back for baba ghannouj, a burger, or to try other dishes. Not fancy."
"Best hot chicken sando in Chicago! We tried both of them at Revival Food Hall before heading to The Nederlander for a fun musical, and they hit the spot. Both of the glazes, the honey butter and harissa, were amazing. The watermelon sugar drink was the perfect accompaniment. If you like crinkle cut fries, you'll love theirs. I know where to go next time I'm craving hot chicken!"
"Food was great. The place looks awesome. The server was great. Over all A+. We order the seafood mix, shawarma mix plates. Will definitely be back."
"It's been nearly a year since my visit, but here goes this draft in my draftbox, begging me to finish! My friend brought me here for my 41st bday last August. It's a casual, but formal affair, if that makes sense. The space itself is pretty grand and you can tell a great amount of attention went into its detail. We sat in what appeared to be a sunroom, the entire restaurant was packed (but not in a mess hall sort of way). While the restaurant would not be one I'd opt for visiting (out of my price range and in the heart of Logan which isn't my cup of tea but perfect for my friend who's the king of showing off--love him to death), it was certainly worth the visit. This restaurant hit every nail on the head when it comes to an experience, a word that has lost its luster in today's greedy, corners-cut, post-covid climate. Our server made recommendations and got to know us, our runner delicately deboned our fish before our very eyes, a manager poked by, since we ordered wine a wine specialist ran down an extensive list of wines and their backstories. Just perfect. We also went for lamb chops, a beet salad and dessert specially adorned with a candle. You can tell the restaurant is operated by professionals dedicated to their craft and anyone with a restaurant (or business) could benefit paying them a visit to experience the experience of what an actual experience should look and feel like!"
"Been here twice. The parking can be a tight squeeze but it's worth it! Ami has quickly become a neighborhood favorite. They offer both a lovely outdoor patio and a few indoor seats. The owner and employees are very friendly, welcome you warmly and check up on you while you are dining. This is Jerusalem street food, so if you are not familiar with, check the online menu because it is not the usual pita joint. We love it!"
"We stopped in for a quick lunch. Service was friendly. Falafel was warm and fresh. Great hummus, Great chicken. Friendly service. Lunch specials. Comfy benched seating. This is a home run for a healthy fresh tasty reasonably priced lunch."
"Can't speak for the in-person dining experience and interior here, as my first F&G experience was a delivery order, but the food from this place is excellent!I ordered the beef shawarma wrap and the sandwich was packed full with well seasoned meat and toppings. I loved the pickles they use. I also tried their falafel appetizer and lentil soup - both were equally delicious. Don't sleep on the garlic sauce - I'll be sure to order extra next time it's that good! To top it off, we had the baklava for desert which was flaky and sweet. Wish it had a little more nuts within but that is my only minor criticism. Can't wait to try other things on the menu very soon!"
"Pita Inn, possibly the best mediterranean restaurant in Chicago suburbs. If this isn't on your usual palate, I highly recommend you experience it at least once in your life time. Ordering the pita and hummus is a MUST. The pita is served warm/mildly toasted and goes great with their variety of hummus choices. I normally stick with the regular hummus and you cannot go wrong with this. Their beef and chicken shawarma are full and flavor and incredibly fresh. We ordered the spicy chicken entree for the first time which had a powerful kick. The entrees come with rice which is VERY filling. Sandwich's are also incredible but don't come with rice unless requested. Also tried falafel for the first time EVER and was pleasantly surprised. This is a meatless option and tastes amazing. Crispy fried outside with warm filling, truly delicious. Overall, I love Pita Inn. Can you tell? We've been coming here for decades and their consistency and quality has stayed the same."
"Fantastic new Turkish restaurant! The food is great, with many delicious vegan options as well as plenty for those who prefer meat, chicken, or fish. We had the vegetarian combination appetizer, and the falafel, hummus, and eggplant dip were among the best I've ever had. My family had the Mediterranean chicken and the salmon, and I had the vegetarian delight. The chef is super nice, and he brought us extra veggies too. Both desserts were devoured as well! Amazing food and fantastic friendly service. We'll definitely be back!"
"I placed a small take-out order last night -- the scallop appetizer (not on the menu) with extra scallops, polenta, and haricots verts, as well as the house salad. The service was wonderful and very personable/friendly, and the food was even better than I expected -- it was cooked perfectly and packaged so that it kept well until I arrived home. The mustard vinaigrette on the salad was really great! The scallops were a nice size and well seasoned but not overly so. I will definitely be returning!"
"Was a little apprehensive about the price of the Chicken Shawarma Plate ($15.50) but gave it a try anyway. It was totally worth it! The portion of chicken and rice is quite generous (enough for my husband and I to share for lunch) and both were delicious. The plate also came with a salad and pita that were good too. I wanted to try the spicy version but was worried it might be too much for me to handle, so the woman who took the order suggested getting the hot sauce on the side. Glad we did, because it's very spicy and just a little bit went a long way. The plate also came with a delicious garlic sauce, probably for the salad, but we thought it tasted great mixed in with the chicken and rice with just a tiny bit of hot sauce.Wish this place was closer to home!"
"I tried Shish Kabob & Grill and it was pretty good.I tried the Falafel Wrap with a side of French Fries - they were pretty tasty. I wish they had pita bread sandwiches too though. Employees are friendly and they have a small dining area in the restaurant. It's a bit expensive compared to comparable restaurants in the area like Pita Pita/Pita Inn but it's still a decent spot to get some Mediterranean food from."
"First time here, went fat! Ordered the Italian beef with cheese n sweet peppers and gyros plate with fries. Ate half of the Italian beef, delicious! Attacked half of the gyros plate, delicious!!! Fries with ketchup n black pepper, yum!A lot of pickup orders happening. Would be re-visiting again!!!"
"3.5 stars rounded upWe wanted to order from here a while ago, but the website put us off. It seems in what was likely a rush to create the site, they overlooked some really important details like putting their actual phone number and address on the website. Had it not been for GrubHub, we probably wouldn't have given it a chance. Note: they don't deliver through GrubHub, just get orders so live tracking isn't accurate. We placed our order and delivery was forecasted to be an hour out. Curiously, I got a text within 10 minutes that it was out for delivery. We assumed that was in error and waited the hour. A bit past the hour mark, I called. It seems our order got overlooked. The owner was very apologetic offering to make it and refund our money. We opted for the order, but a refund wasn't necessary. It arrived about 20 minutes later which was very quick. We ordered a falafel wrap, chicken shawarma wrap and feta fries. Overall, we've had better, but it was decent. Everything was good, but there's a lot of competition in Chicago and I feel like there are a few places we prefer. They don't list sauces as an option, but we requested and were provided hit sauce. It's a pretty good option in the area and I'm glad something that seems to have staying power moved into the old L'Patron space."
"Ahh! This used to be Plates Grill, remember that? I had a Lentil Soup. The place is small, low key and intimate. It's still a Soft Opening for a couple weeks until the Grand Opening. PS. They don't have alcohol yet. So, it's BYOB."
"Those who know and love of Zizi's, know what an outstanding, solid, reliable, delicious meal and dining experience one has there. Now with a liquor license, you can get a reasonably priced beverage to accompany your meal. The Lebanese wines are tasty and affordable. I've been a regular there for years and it never disappoints. Charming positive energy staff, including Zizi, . Neighborhood Gem!"
