Shore Club Chicago

I very much enjoyed this place! It's perfect for summer when you would like to relax by the beach and lake. Service was very good, personal was friendly and helpful, so you can just sit back and rest with a front row lake view i didn't expect food to be anything special but it was very good and tasty! I loved everything we ordered. Mediterranean salad with salmon was such a refreshing treat , shore club sandwich was huge and delicious! I enjoyed shaken espresso from their special coffee drinks. I recommend this place to all my friends as a great relaxing summer spot

Not So Greats:There's no A/C so if you come during the middle of the summer be prepared to be a little warm. There are fans but nothing too powerful so we asked to be seated where it was a little cooler and the bar area was perfect for that. While the jumbo shrimp cocktail was good, for $19 and to only get 4 shrimp is a little insane to me but it came with the most adorable mini Tabasco sauce bottles and we were otherwise in a good, celebratory mood so whatevs.The Greats: The bartender/server Ana (?) was really great and attentive with pretty good speed of service.The frozen mango Margarita WITH the tajin?! Kudos to whoever thought to add that - I loved my cocktail but, again, the price point was a little high imo.Those damn Crispy Lobster Tacos were everything I never knew I needed. From the tropical slaw to the very generous amount of lobster meat in each taco??!?!!! I'm coming back for those alone.

The staff was super nice! My friends and I were on the beach most of the day. Every time we ran out of water they were fast to get us a new one. The drinks were great as well!The steak tacos however, were not the greatest and arguably not worth what I paid for. They were under seasoned, over cooked and just not great. We had a small tzatziki platter with veggies, bread and pita chips. It had a nice extra pop of lemon which was super refreshing. A friend got the lobster mac & cheese, I would give that 4 stars because it was rich and creamy!Overall, it's a nice spot to eat outdoors when the weather is beautiful.

Loved the vibes here. Such a cute spot I can't believe I never noticed it! They have a couple patio areas. One with mostly tables and the other with huge lounge chairs and bean bag Toss. The service was good. You have to have a reservation and show ID. The food was good too! My friend truly enjoyed her meal. I had mini tacos, which were a good size, but it just didn't feel like restaurant food. Still taste good but like my little cousin whipped up some tacos. In there defense I was trying to eat light that day. Maybe if I ordered a regular meal it would've been better. The drinks were delicious. We got the margarita flight. I loved being able to try different flavors and they were pretty strong. Since there were 3 I drank two while waiting and saved one for the meal. Will definitely be back

You'll pay a bit more since they give you a nice view of the lake. The place is located a few minutes walking distance from the Castaways Boat. The service was pretty good as the waiter got our food and drink orders right away. I got the frozen mango margarita and it was extremely strong! I also ordered the steak tacos trio and the meat was pretty dry. The ambiance is a club scene so be prepared for loud music. They do offer large and small tables indoor and outdoor so any group can join. For two people we paid about $70 including the auto gratuity.

While visiting had the chance to stop here as it was well recommended online. Our waiter was nice, as we ordered the flight of margaritas which was ok but for the price I expected better tasting. We enjoyed the mango but disliked the pina colada as neither my friend or I like that flavor. It would have been great if we could have changed it for another flavor. I did enjoy my salmon salad and my friend enjoyed her lobster tacos.

Great convenient spot to have a meal right by the beach. Their location is great! I tried their shrimp tacos, and I can say it had a good amount of seasoning in it. I like it seasoned at a moderate amount so maybe it depends on how others like it. The sauce and lime helped add a little tang to the seasoning. Service wise I'd say was on the slower pace given the place was not crowded that evening and I waited quite a bit and asked one of the bus employees to grab the server for me.They have both indoor and outdoor seating, I opted to sit inside as it was a little cool that evening. Lots of seating available so it wasn't an issue, seating me was the quickest part.Because the location is so convenient I'm willing to come back and try the place again with a group.

Came here for an 11 am weekday lunch/brunch? Not sure if this is the same menu that they use for dinner, available at 11 am, but it was fine. (Pro tip: make a reservation in advance)Definitely a trendy spot to visit. Beautiful decor and design, as well as the location on the beach, plus frozen bevvy flights - the girlies will flock here.Speaking of, while I was there, Shore Club was also hosting an influencer event (spotted a few of the LIB girls!). I think the event planners could've done a little more work to move the IV drip station out of the direct line of sight of guests of the regular dining guests because PINCH was on full display when you immediately walked into the restaurant. Really, not appetizing to see people connected to IVs and getting needles injected while you eat. Food was good. I had the Mikanos board, which was exactly like the description said: pita, chicken, and halloumi. They could've done better to add a little tomato or cucumber to balance the meal. Meanwhile, my friend got the Turkey club sandwich which was about 7" tall and there was no possible way to eat that in a graceful or handheld way, and it didn't come with a side. I think Shore Club should refine their menu a little bit and clearly differentiate between lunch and dinner (they also had sweet brunch items listed on the same menu, so it was just a cluster of everything they serve at all times during the week, but you can only get brunch on weekends so it was a tease).

We rode our bikes here and that was really cool... I had never been anywhere in this part of Chicago. We sat outside and had a great view of the shore! Our waiter was good, very sweet- young & a newbie but told us that and is excited to learn the business! The hummus was delicious, fresh & very healthy! The Mykonos platter- which the other 2 ordered was my favorite, it was very delicious. My Elote salad wasn't bad, but was really big & just not what I wanted... I regretted not getting the Mykonos platter. But- all in all, the food was fresh, nice & tasty. Great atmosphere & views!

The food, drinks, service, and ambiance far beyond exceeded our expectations. we would come back any time! thank you to Alanih for a great afternoon!
