Pita BBQ

Was a little apprehensive about the price of the Chicken Shawarma Plate ($15.50) but gave it a try anyway. It was totally worth it! The portion of chicken and rice is quite generous (enough for my husband and I to share for lunch) and both were delicious. The plate also came with a salad and pita that were good too. I wanted to try the spicy version but was worried it might be too much for me to handle, so the woman who took the order suggested getting the hot sauce on the side. Glad we did, because it's very spicy and just a little bit went a long way. The plate also came with a delicious garlic sauce, probably for the salad, but we thought it tasted great mixed in with the chicken and rice with just a tiny bit of hot sauce.Wish this place was closer to home!

We found this place while searching for a lunch spot after visiting a local forest preserve. The interior is a mishmash of cultures. The floor was super sticky; gross. Service was friendly and pricing was fair.The menu is somewhat limited; for example, they don't have kufta kabob. We ordered samurai wings (which is rung up separately), and a mixed shawarma bowl.My wife enjoyed the wings. Unlike wings at some places, these weren't drenched in sugar sauce. The shawarma bowl had a nice mix of meat, rice, and veggies, but it was lacking in flavor. It just needed more seasoning to make it a delicious meal.

This food is insanely good! I've passed by this place many times but we finally decided to try it and we were very impressed! We placed an order over the phone and the person on the phone was very nice. We ordered the chicken shawarma plate, the combination feast, and the falafel wrap. The food was ready in 15 min on a Sunday night. I highly recommend ordering extra garlic sauce (I was scraping it out of the small cup it came in!!!). Everything was good and I will definitely be going back regularly now!!! 11/10 so good.

Customer service sucks, waiting at the counter for a while before someone took my order. Food is good even though they didn't put any falafel in the combination plate.

Big fan of Pita BBQ. My wife and I drive by a Pita restaurant to get to this one. The falafel wrap made spicy is the real deal. Small menu, big flavor.

I got a steak and chicken wrap. Yes it was messy, but man did it have so much flavor. It came with some kind of garlic white sauce I think? And that too was very good, I added it onto bites of the wrap. Little pricey I thought $10 and some change. But for a once in awhile quick grab bite to eat this wrap was pretty good!

I've been here a few times for lunch. Great place to go if you are craving Middle Eastern food. Chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, falafel, and chili chicken are all great. Their house made hot sauce and garlic sauce pair well with the food. Good customer experience, everyone was nice and friendly. Definitely will be coming back

This place is the best the food is amazing and the owner is so kinda and passionate about his business! It was so affordable you get such a big portion that's flavorful with every bite!

Worst Mediterranean food I've ever eaten. I ordered a chicken shawarma plate and received a combination plate with salty food. Even the chicken shawarma was bland. Never coming back here again.
