Zaytune Mediterranean Grill

I ordered the grilled lamp wrap, fries, and hummus all of it was delicious. highly recommend.

Whoa whoa WHOA. Are you kidding me?? Never reviewed Zaytune??? Get outta here. I haven't been to Zaytune much in the last five years because I don't work in the neighborhood any longer and the one that opened in Lincoln Square didn't last a year. It's kind of fast-casual in its approach; there are several tables but you order at the register and pick up your food when it's called out; you also pick up your own silverware and bus your table.This review is clearly long overdue. Zaytune is one of my favorite Mediterranean places; the food is so darn good. I get the chicken breast plate and it's always so delicious. Their lentil soup is pretty good as well. The herbed fries are amazing and I am so glad my friend ordered them because I totally forgot. They come with a kalamata olive sauce that is a great accompaniment to them.There are a couple downsides. The prices are really high. Other mediterranean places I go to are often less expensive but have larger portion sizes--I usually have leftovers but not at Zaytune. The other problem--out of their control, of course--is parking. People like to complain about parking on the north side but every time I've gone to Zaytune I have struggled to find a parking space. We almost skipped it and went to Antique Taco instead but just happened to get lucky and find not only one but two spaces by our second or third spin around the block. You can order to go if you'd like to avoid the parking problem.

Really good food and service. I've been here twice. The food is fresh. Also, they have vegetarian options.

This place has taken a nose dive. It used to be pretty good but now it's filthy, messy and slow. The meat is grossly over seasoned which probably means it's horrible quality. I felt so gross eating here I will never go back. The staff is also rude. To top it off they'll take your money and then tell you it's a 15 minute wait for a shawarma wrap when there's nobody there.

Poor service to say the least. I don't understand who they hire here. 10-15 minutes for a shawarma when it's empty then 5 minutes in an employee sits down across and starts eating his own. Would suggest a turnover in staff immediately, slow as I've ever seen anyone in the service industry, unfriendly and uninterested. Food itself, just about okay and overpriced. Given the amount of negative reviews on the business, the staff and how it's run I wouldn't expect anything to ever change. Owner doesn't seem to care and maybe is just waiting for it to die.

I love this place! The food is always delicious and service is always great! I love the fries with either the platter or the wrap. You can't go wrong with anything you order here.

Consistently great food. Not fancy, but very tasty. Successfully executed our special requests. Plenty of space to eat although we did takeout.

Great spot ! The salad bowls and shrawma wraps are really good picks. The herb fries are good and they give a generous amount. Service is direct they've always been solid.

Good food overall, used to come here very often. However came back for the first time in a while and was disappointed that they no longer serve the lamb wrap. Also, they could give a bigger serving of the sauce with the wrap, or at least have a bottle of it on the table.All in all, good steak wrap, quality is what I remember.Would come back
