It's been nearly a year since my visit, but here goes this draft in my draftbox, begging me to finish! My friend brought me here for my 41st bday last August. It's a casual, but formal affair, if that makes sense. The space itself is pretty grand and you can tell a great amount of attention went into its detail. We sat in what appeared to be a sunroom, the entire restaurant was packed (but not in a mess hall sort of way). While the restaurant would not be one I'd opt for visiting (out of my price range and in the heart of Logan which isn't my cup of tea but perfect for my friend who's the king of showing off--love him to death), it was certainly worth the visit. This restaurant hit every nail on the head when it comes to an experience, a word that has lost its luster in today's greedy, corners-cut, post-covid climate. Our server made recommendations and got to know us, our runner delicately deboned our fish before our very eyes, a manager poked by, since we ordered wine a wine specialist ran down an extensive list of wines and their backstories. Just perfect. We also went for lamb chops, a beet salad and dessert specially adorned with a candle. You can tell the restaurant is operated by professionals dedicated to their craft and anyone with a restaurant (or business) could benefit paying them a visit to experience the experience of what an actual experience should look and feel like!

Food: wow, simply just wow. So flavorful but not too salty, which it isn't easy to do. enough crunchiness of the fries that keeps you wanting to take yet another bite. The froyo is easily one of the best desserts I have tried in Chicago, refreshing and creamy but not leaving you with "I ate too much" feeling. Prices are not the cheapest but food is so good it's worth it. Service: impecable. Ambience: bar at night, can easily be a good brunch spot.

Was really excited to try this place but it was such a let down. Beautiful interior and we got sat to the back side of a server station where the servers were constantly overlooking our table and it was super awkward.Started with the meatballs and really liked those, the bar was set.... Then we tried the crispy kataifi cheese pie and it was pretty dry but still tasty, ordered the spanakopita next which I typically love and it was the driest I've ever tasted. Hard to chew. No moisture whatsoever. Moved onto sharing the lamp platter-- we love lamb, but however they decided to cook it this go round was lacking greatly in flavor.Finished it off with the baklava froyo and there was something with the flavor that just wasn't doing it.Service was ok, a little slow especially when we sat down. Again it was beautiful inside and the meatballs really made us think we would love it but it just wasn't for us.

I love this spot and have been a handful of times for dinner, the food is ALWAYS spot on and the atmosphere is wonderful. I came in for brunch today and didn't feel I was met with the Andres Taverna quality I'm used to - the meat (both chicken and gyro meat) felt it had been dried out and burnt (almost as if it was from the previous day) and the brunch flavors were severely lacking. Despite this experience , I would still come back regularly for their dinner, maybe it was an off day.

Great spot to come to with a big group! I made a reservation for 8 about a week in advance and even called to see if it could be 9 instead, and they were very nice and accommodating. We did have to wait about 20-30 min once we arrived for our reservation which they turned the table over, but we were seated at this interesting triangle table which was a new experience for me. Definitely better than one long table because you could see everyone! Not as good as a circle table though. The service was wonderful. They brought out a huge box for us to see all of the fish options, it was wild! The dips and spreads we shared were presented really nicely and delicious, most with a fun unique twist. I appreciated that everyone got their own pita for dipping, which made sharing easier too. We ordered the watermelon feta salad, potatoes, and a fish dish from the specials menu that day. The salad was yummy but really just a block of watermelon with a piece of feta and avocado on top, so a little underwhelming of a presentation. The potatoes were delicious. The fish was really yummy and flavorful, but I found the bones to be quite annoying and hard to find. The espresso martini I got was also really good!Overall it was a fun place to come for a celebratory group dinner. Good food and ambiance, just not any dishes I am still thinking about, although I enjoyed it a lot. In a city where it's tough to make reservations with a week's notice (especially for a big group) this is a great option!!

Soooo good! Amazing food, great atmosphere and the staff is wonderful. I highly recommend ordering a bunch of things and sharing with the table. The spicy whipped feta is my favorite. The feta balances out the heat and the pita bread is incredible. My other favorites are the roasted calamari and the spanakopita. Can't wait to go back!

We stopped here for lunch after visiting the Logan Square Farmers Market and were happy to get a table for 5 right away. The interior is stunning and matches the vibe of the menu. Our waitress was nice and very attentive which was great. We ordered a few starters to split and then everyone ordered their own entree. The food was amazing! Their hummus spread was one of the best hummus spreads I've ever had. Everyone was very pleased with their order. I would totally come back here again! It's always nice when you stumble on a place you've never been and it turns out to be amazing!

What can I even say except that this is the type of Greek food the city of Chicago has been waiting for!! Going to Andros Taverna was a super last minute decision that was made on a busy Saturday for brunch but it was truly the best experience we could have asked for!Right off the bat, you will notice the beautiful aesthetics of this super bright, modern, and chic restaurant. There is so much gorgeous greenery, huge windows, and ample sunlight pouring in. This is a very busy place, especially on weekends so make sure you make reservations ahead of time, and it will be 10000% worth it. Let's talk food - you HAVE to try a few different mezze's to start off. We got the traditional tzatziki (AMAZING), charred eggplant (YUMMY), santorini favas (so freaking good!!!), and the best of all - spicy whipped feta. Might I say, it was the BESTTTTT spicy whipped feta I have ever tasted. It was so fluffy, so delicious, and just not enough!! We had to order more because we just could not stop eating it! What really puts the cherry on top is their fantastic wood fired pitas. They. Are. UNREAL. The flavor, the char, the delicious seasoning on top - there is not a single pita I have had that beats this one!! The main course only got better - the chicken souvlaki was tender and juicy and flavorful and crispy all at once. The spicy yogurt, fries, lettuce, and tomatoes complimented the chicken so well and made for the perfect bite every single time! We also tried georgie's gyro which represented the traditional gyro - once again, perfectly flavored and absolutely delicious. This is truly one of my favorite restaurants in the city because not only do you get delicious food, you also get the most amazing ambiance, incredible service, and the best vibes! Cannot wait to go back and try beef keftedes and short rib pasta! If you are craving amazing Greek food, this is the spot for you!

We had one of the best servers I can think of. Professional, attentive and knowledgeable. The food was pretty unforgettable. The mix of spreads is a must and don't forget the bread. The gyros plates might be a bit large but it's mostly bread that makes it look that big. Other menu items are worth trying as well. This restaurant has a great ambiance with all the plants and the ton of light it gets. It's a good spot for a family brunch.

Amazing! 10/10 would recommend to anyone :) not only is the food outstanding, the service is so warm and welcoming and ambiance/interior is gorgeous. We were a party of three and ordered the Mezze collection as an appetizer to start which was very well done- it can be easily seen that the olive oil used for every dish especially this one is of super high quality. We then ordered the Mediterranean octopus, spring lamb mix grill, and the baked whole fish which was portioned at the table! For dessert we had the chocolate halva mousse. We were all super impressed by the consistency and accuracy of the cook for all the meats we had. From the fish to the octopus to all the different cuts of lamb- the cook for all of them was superb! We will be coming back again for any nice dinner or celebration. Super happy to have found another go to restaurant in the city!
