Good god, the aash reshteh soup here. I can't find it many places so I was thrilled Noon O Kabob had it, provided hearty portion sizes, and didn't skimp on all the goodness in there: greens, noodles, beans, magic. Cool table area with the white and blue features and artwork. Soup and falafel came out within five minutes of ordering, with pita bread, early on a weekday afternoon. This is the PLACE We wanted the family style meal with substitutions and they were very accommodating to us. This was an amazing family style meal with huge portions - cannot get a feel for how huge these platters are, each 14 inches. We came with 4 people and barely ate half! Come hungry is all I can say

Excellent. Highwood needed a fresh place like this. Highwood is chock full of the standard Italian and Mexican faire. Great restaurants don't last long in Highwood, I sure hope this one does. Noon o Kabob doesn't have a liquor license and they have been trying to get one for quite some time now. Get with it highwood. Noon o Kabab should move to Lake Forest or like Winnetka or something.

The falafel was really good. It's really big and filling. It had a good flavor as well. I also really liked the hummus. We ordered to go. It was a little slow, but the cashier was nice. There are seats while you're waiting on to go orders. It looked like there was a separate dining area, but I didn't go into it.

Came here for lunch on a rainy day and the place had such a peaceful ambiance! The floors are painted a serene turquoise. When you sit by the window watching it rain outside while you have your lunch, it brings peace into my heart!Besides that, service was friendly. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Water and utensils are self service. Food is provided with generous portions at a affordable price!We got the Lunch Special Chicken, Steak, Falafel and a Lamb Koubideh plate. Both came with seasoned rice, pickled veggies, a roasted half tomato, sauce, cheese, creamy hummus, & a half a pita! So much food! The meats were super tender and flavorful. All the food items went really went well together. We will definitely be back.

This was my first time to Noon O Kabob, and I was very happy with my choice to try it out! Everything we ate was wonderful. The best part of the meal hands down was the protein. Every single type of protein we tried (both lamb and beef koubideh, Lamb Kabab, Chenjah, and Joujeh) were DELICIOUS. They were so hot, fresh, cooked perfectly (juicy), tender, and extremely flavorful. The dill rice was delicious. The veggies on the side and piece of feta cheese were a nice compliment. The mashed eggplant appetizer was probably the least successful of the dishes, only because it was not what I am used to. I come from an Arabic household, so I tend to have very high standards for food like this. I was very impressed.Really the only disappointment of the meal was the pita bread. When the rest of the food is so authentic, fresh, and delicious, I am expecting the bread to live up to the same standard. Unfortunately, the bread they serve at Noon O Kabob is the lowest quality store bought pita bread that Arab people don't even prefer to buy from the Arab stores. I understand if they do not have the capacity to make their own fresh bread, but I know that they could buy better quality and better tasting pita from Arab grocers or other Arab bakeries in the area.

Amazing food at a great value! The lunch special is around $14 plus tax - and for all of that you get a big platter with chicken and sirloin with falafel, rice, tomato, vegetables, and pita! I can't believe that for this price you can get food of this caliber and quality in this economy. The chicken was incredibly tender, almost melted in your mouth. The sirloin also had a great texture and seasoning to it. Falafel was full of flavor and crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. I wish I lived closer because if so I would come all the time! Also the ambience is extremely beautiful, comfortable, and inviting!

I was super excited to try noon-o-kabob when I heard they opened in the suburbs! I've already been there 3x and have loved the food each and everytime! The service is top notch! You order when you walk in and they will bring you the food once it's ready. Someone is constantly walking around to refill drinks or sauces. The portions are shareable. The decor is nice. Can't wait to come back again!
