Amazing food! The chicken was cooked to perfection and the owner was incredibly nice. He made sure we had a good experience! I would highly recommend to anyone in the mood for authentic quality Middle eastern food.

Second time! Two days in a row I visited the restaurant, and that's how much the food attracts my stomachThe lady and her husband were happily to see me again! I tried the lentil soup with the lamb kebab meal, the boss was so friendly and gave me two felafel for tasting.

This place is definitely a hidden gem. The food was outstanding. The owners are friendly and welcome. Looks like a family owned business. We got the chicken shawarma wrap and chicken tawook dinner plate.The chicken was so juicy and flavorful. The chicken tawook especially was well cooked and seasoned. Very good comfort food.

Tried this place over dinner on a Thursday night. The owners were polite and warm. We ordered one veggie platter and Lamb Patter with one extra skewer. The veggie platter was delicious. I specially liked the salads and the falafel wasn't dry at all. However, my husband didn't like the lamb platter much as the the meat was just ok.There is plenty of parking as it's located in a plaza. The ambiance was decent. I would recommend this place and try it out for yourself!

Service here is good. Owners are very welcoming. The place is small though.The food tasted good but the kabob was undercooked and there were items in my mix plate that hit the spot and some that wasn't my favorite. I have mix feelings about this restaurant. Overall, I recommend you try it!

Shawarmati is located where The Grill Effect used to be. There's a sticker on the door that states zabihah halal. The interior is fast-food style. It's relatively small, so not a ton of seating, but there are tables outside as well.The gentleman running the place was very friendly. I went just a few days after opening, so the menu was limited for the time being. They only had beef shawarma sandwich, chicken shawarma sandwich, and chicken tawook. I got the beef shawarma meal, which included the sandwich, fries, and a drink. Pricing was fair enough.The sandwich was pretty good. However, since the pieces were cut small and they used tortilla bread, it was a floppy mess. The meat kept falling out. If they insist on using tortilla bread, they should only cut the sandwich in half so there are two big pieces. Or if they want to do the small-cut style, they should use the thin pita that crisps up properly. In any case, the meat was tender and flavorful. The garlic sauce was legit. The fries were nice and crispy, although I would have liked some seasoning on them. I also like that they included some pickled vegetables.For now I'd say 3.5 stars, but the place has potential. Looking forward to the full menu being launched so I can try a couple of other items in the future.

We really enjoyed the food here, specifically the chicken shawarma. The portions are really big and they added extra sauces when I asked to try a couple for no charge.

The owner of the establishment was so nice and walked us through the menu when we told him it was our first visit to the restaurant! We ended up ordering a chicken shawarma wrap and the chicken was very well cooked and paired nicely with the garlic sauce, tahini, and fries. I really enjoyed the food portions as well and thought the prices were fair! There was plenty of seating the restaurant itself is well kept. I will definitely be back soon!!

First time ordering here and got a chicken bowl. 10/10 delicious! No picture because I ate it too fast. I read the reviews before ordering here and the actual food exceeded expectations! Very flavorful. The restaurant looked clean and the owners were very friendly. I'm planning on coming back to try out their other menu items such as the tawook meal and veggie platter.

Ordered 1/2 grilled chicken which takes 30 mins to prepare (which I knew b4 hand & called in for pick up) instead of fries I requested if I could have rice instead. Owner graciously said yes. Let me tell you the portion was more than I expected & chicken & rice were not only filling but VERY good. It came with a side of hummus, pita & pickled veggies. All for less than $20. Needless to say it was my first time eating there & have plenty of food left over!If you haven't tried Shawarmati I hope this review encourages you to give them a try!!!
