Recently moved into the Logan Square area and finally had time to give this place a shot. As someone that grew up in Mediterranean food and eating a lot of this style of cuisine, I was VERY disappointed. I ordered the combo plate and was not impressed. The beef kebab was VERY overcooked and dry, along with having almost zero flavor. The Kafta was so overcooked that I could have used it as a baseball bat. It was burned, dry and while it has some flavor, you had to also deal with the burnt taste from them cooking it for too long lol and not rotating it properly. The rice was okay and average for a place like this. Up next... the pita, if you can call it that. Might as well have been a frisbee. It was put on the grill, but it was not close to warm, was VEDY dense and I could hardly rip it with my hands it was so tough. Now... let's talk service. Placing the order was easy. But getting the food... that took WAY too long. Nearly 20 mins to get our food. I was sitting there watching doordash and Uber eats orders go out all night and it was starting to get frustrating. To the point I almost asked for a refund to go somewhere else. In the future, I might have to look for a better option for this style of food. I know there is one near by that seems to have better quality and reviews. Let's hope! If desperately needing food in the future, I might go here again. But not with my first, second, third or any top five choices.

Pretty good. Easy and convenient place to go. The chicken shawarma wrap was very flavorful. The wrap is deterring on the dry side, but this can be easily fixed with some extra sauce. The falafel appetizer is a robbery of your money. You're better off just ordering falafel by the piece (0.50 cents each). With the appetizer you get 6 pieces of falafel, on a small bed of lettuce, and a piece of pita bread sliced in two. There is a seating area, but it feels more of a take out or delivery place.

The food, service, and ambiance were awesome! Ordered a Mediterranean Salad, Falafel Sandwich, and Lentil soup...delicious! The sandwich was stuffed w falafel. The salad was extremely fresh too. Delicious!! They prepared my order to the T. They even gave me a couple of pita breads, complimentary. This location is awesome, except the parking may be an issue. Will be back many times!!

I randomly found this place as I was browsing and looking for something to pick up and eat. I have been wanting salmon kabobs but not a lot of Mediterranean spots have it. I expected to get the salmon kabob plate but when I saw a wrap on the menu I thought, why not? I'm glad I got the salmon wrap. The amount was perfect overall since it was kind of late when I was picking up food. Definitely not stingy with the amount of salmon either which is great! It might have could used a little more seasoning but overall it was good. Now that I know about this spot I will have to come back and try the other items on the menu as well.

3.5 stars rounded upWe wanted to order from here a while ago, but the website put us off. It seems in what was likely a rush to create the site, they overlooked some really important details like putting their actual phone number and address on the website. Had it not been for GrubHub, we probably wouldn't have given it a chance. Note: they don't deliver through GrubHub, just get orders so live tracking isn't accurate. We placed our order and delivery was forecasted to be an hour out. Curiously, I got a text within 10 minutes that it was out for delivery. We assumed that was in error and waited the hour. A bit past the hour mark, I called. It seems our order got overlooked. The owner was very apologetic offering to make it and refund our money. We opted for the order, but a refund wasn't necessary. It arrived about 20 minutes later which was very quick. We ordered a falafel wrap, chicken shawarma wrap and feta fries. Overall, we've had better, but it was decent. Everything was good, but there's a lot of competition in Chicago and I feel like there are a few places we prefer. They don't list sauces as an option, but we requested and were provided hit sauce. It's a pretty good option in the area and I'm glad something that seems to have staying power moved into the old L'Patron space.

Happy to see another Mediterranean spot open up near Logan - affordable and quick for carry out. Food was pretty good (chicken was tender , the salad was a bit lacking). Everything could have used a bit more flavor , but I'll absolutely be back to try again

Ordered online... said they were open and took the order. Got there and they were closed. I assume it was for the holiday. Didn't know they celebrated Memorial Day. Would have called first BUT... they don't have a number listed.

I was craving some kabobs and saw this place. The service was nice but the food was not so great. I will not return to this place again.

After seeing the 4 and 5 star reviews, I was very excited to try Souk.I ordered Fatoush salad, Meat (skewer) combo plate, and some Falafel. All the meat in the combo plate was really dry. The Dill Rice was like it was instant rice. The pita bread was disappointing. I had hoped at least the pita might be something from a Mediterranean bakery like Sanabel, but it was more like some kind of generic "pita bread" you might find at a supermarket. Not puffy, kind of browned in a toaster, dense and doughy. Just sad.The fatoush salad was chunky, lots of ugly brownish green lettuce, and flavorless. Nothing like a fatoush I've had at other places. Not lemony, not flavorful, just blah. The falafel, at least, was crispy and not greasy. But it was dry. The kefta, chicken, and beef were all DRY DRY DRY. For $19, they should be ashamed to give 4 square inch sized cubes of each meat, on top of that sad rice, and the tasteless salad. The sauces were flavorless, as well, except for some kind of garlic mayo, that I wasn't sure what to use on. I have to believe that they were maybe having a bad day, and I will give them a second try, but this order was totally uninspired. Really a big disappointment. With Mediterranean food, I expect my palate to be dancing. This stuff put my palate both to sleep and into pain.
