The customer service is great, the food is great, the views are great.Food: the first time I stopped here was for brunch and we absolutely loved our meal. The second time I stopped here I got the gumbo and let me tell you what the gumbo from here is top-notch. I got to give it to them because they are doing something very special with their gumbo on the menu. It said it was award-winning and I assume that was some sort of market now I have to believe they won some sort of award because that's a very great gumbo. I would come back for that dish. I can't wait to try more things off their menu. The customer service is great as well. Everyone that works here is very friendly and they do a great job and getting your food out at a timely manner. We once loved their brunch menu on Sundays but since moving to Fulshear we shifted our Sunday Brunch elsewhere. I'm upping my rating here. On my last visit I was upset with slow service but have since calmed my mind and realize that business like WoB are doing the best they can to staff and stay open during a pandemic. The staff that they have at WoB is great and super kind. They love pets and that makes visiting with ours so much nicer. I mentioned beer but WoB also offers a variety of mixed drinks. Eddie C. "I was searching for a more upscale bar with better beers than the normal swill that some of the more divey places in La Porte have and found this place and it definitely has the better brews but the prices are sky high.Fantastic selection, you can see on Untappd how the selection changes but in the end, 3 beers, one of them a 10 oz came up to $22. No bueno. The atmosphere was very nice. Upscale, the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, music was ever changing and looks like they have a killer set up as a small live music venue, but I don't think I can swing the prices. I just have to get used to drinking Karbach at a honky tonk down the road because I will be broke. Solid 4 stars on appearance and staff, 2.5 on prices."

The family and I were trying to find a happy hour spot close by and we decided to try them. I must admit I was apprehensive, but I went because it's in the neighborhood. We sat down at a high-bar table and looked at the menu. I can tell write off they've improved it. I've always remembered they had good cocktails which were well-made and fresh mix ingredients. The wait staff was very accommodating and the head chef (sorry, I forgot her name, but she's very nice short dark hair) came to our table and personally gave us a preview of the updated menu and the restaurant itself. We didn't know they had music on Saturday and game night on Wednesday which is a nice for family, GNO or couples date night. We ordered the salmon sliders, which was so delicious. I couldn't believe how moist and juicy they were. Also ordered the beef sliders, which were also good, and the chicken Garlic Parmesan wings. I ordered the lemon drop, which was so good and made with fresh lemons and ingredients. The other cocktails we had were also well-made. I'm excited to come back and try more items off the menu. So give this place a try if you haven't in a while. You'll be impressed with their updated menu selection."

I was happy to see they have a vegetarian burger called Tesla. I have no idea why but for $15 I wish it came with a one day use of an actual Tesla. The burger is delicious and my friend enjoyed hers. The burger does not come with fries. It originally comes with vegan bread but I switched to whole wheat. While delicious, $15 is a bit much for a vegetarian burger with no accompaniments. And it's the perfect COVID gathering or date spot as all tables are outdoors and properly spaced out. It's a very chill and cute atmosphere with the gardens on the side and trees. Feels like an outdoor party in someone's backyard. Menus are also accessible via QR code and hand sanitizer is provided. They had a more extensive drink menu than I expected for a microbrewery, so even if you don't drink or like beer you have options, which is very nice.We visited during Oktoberfest weekend and the food was surprisingly very good! Farrah A. "Love my neighborhood Eight Row Flint. It's not nearly as beautiful as the previous bar (RIP Nightshift), but it's grown on us, and it's now our go-to spot for a quick dinner or happy hour. Chips and queso are a must; the campechana, chicken pozole, and the salsa macha wings also deserve a nod. I can't speak on any of the red meat, but the beau is a fan of their burger (and the fries all McDonald's-esque) and the Thursday steak night. Most of the menu items have meat, cheese, or is fried (I wish they kept the quail eggs on the revamped menu). For drinks, Eight Row Flint is best known for the their whiskey and bourbon selection, along with their frozen bevs - the frozen marg, the rum-based "pain killer," and frozen G&T. Try all three with their frozen flight.Happy hour is Mon-Fri2-6pm with discounts on select food and bevs. They do have a rooftop patio, but unfortch there's nothing too spectacular about it due to the nature of the layout. It's not very big, no grand views, not much space for plants to make it a lil' oasis. But who knows - time will only tell if it's expanded (if possible) or if they add any sort of additional outside seating."

The lot has tight spaces and not much of it. DO NOT park across the street. They have people watching it and will tow right away. It happened to my friend on this last trip. There's plenty of signage warning, but let this be your warning as well. Customer service was ok. They have quite an impressive selections of spirits as well as good beer on tap. On my last visit, I ordered an old fashioned and it was just not the best I've had. I prefer my old fashioned with the singular block cubes to avoid a watered down drink. They do have a food truck in the back slinging out some tasty bar bites. Overall, this is a solid spot. Not my first choice, but still one I find myself back at from time to time."

Tri D. "I really don't like giving two stars on a review but this spot did it for me. This is my 3rd time here & it's all been a pretty disappointing experience. We got here around 9pm & it wasn't busy which is a good thing. The inside was more lively with a crowd that I'll describe as college drunks, but I'm not tripping since we sat outside where it was more chilled & relaxing. The first two times I was here I ordered their rainbow sherbet & old fashioned. The sherbet was solid but the old fashioned was overwhelming with syrup which took away the bourbon taste. My 3rd time here I got their Jack & Coke & some Cajun dry rub wings. My Jack and Coke was a joke, it was watered down & had about 90 percent coke & a pinch of Jack. If you can't make a simple Jack & coke then you shouldn't be a bartender. Even I can make that with my eyes closed. My wings tasted terrible. For 1. They gave me the wrong order since I was given garlic Parmesan instead of Cajun dry rub. But at this point I was already annoyed with this place so I ate what was in front of me. The wings was undercooked & had a gummy texture. Whoever cooked it didn't even attempt to seasoned it. Even the skin was bland. My friend had some chicken tenders and I wished I could've just ordered that because it actually had flavor, his fries was good as well. If you want good wings go to cedar creek. It's actually cooked through, fried hard & flavorful. Overall, it was a below par experience. Some of the bartenders are nice and some are not & they just want your money & get you on your way. Will I come back? Nah I'm good."

Tiffany J. "TL;DR: Food 3/5, Service 4/5, Atmosphere 5/5I've been to Tom's twice. The first was for a Yelp event which was so much fun. The second was this past Saturday to watch the Texan's playoff game.Tom's is located in the Greenstreet Complex in the space formerly occupied by Andalucia. If you can't find street parking, you can park in the Greenstreet garage. It's $5 on weekends and after 4 pm on weekdays. They have a good amount of indoor seating as well as a nice patio out front. My friends arrived 1.5 hours before the game and managed to grab the last table indoors. They do have heaters on the patio if you're not able to get a seat inside. If you want to sit inside for a popular game, then plan accordingly. The biggest positive is the atmosphere. It's a sports lover's dream. The staff did a great job of amping up the energy. Dan (the GM) was the emcee throughout the game. They had giveaways for free swag and drinks and also handed out free shots. Service was pretty good. Our server Trey was attentive and was good about periodically checking on us. On the other hand, the quality of the food and drinks are inconsistent. Some items were good while other items left a lot to be desired. I understand it's bar food, but if it's supposed to be upscale, then some of the food and drinks could use some improvement.Drinks: Espresso Martini - Disappointing. It had a weird tart after taste that I didn't enjoy and it didn't come with espresso beans.Gin and Juice - I've had this before and it was sweeter than I remembered it being. I didn't love it this time around.Game Changer (Free shot) - It tasted like cough syrup. I don't know what was in it and the server that brought it to us didn't seem to know either. I'm glad it was free.Food:Chicken Nachos - These were good and flavorful, but I wish they would have been served hot. The temp was lukewarm. Fried Pickles - Basic, but good. The batter had a nice texture and I liked the ranch dressing.Fish Tacos - Bleh. The fish tasted like boxed fried fish that you can find at any grocery store. The shape of the fish filet didn't really fit into the mini tortilla so it was just awkward to eat. I suspect this is the same fish that they use for the fish and chips. The chipotle aioli that came with it was okay. Apparently there was some sort of cilantro crema on the tacos, but I couldn't taste it. I recall seeing a minimal amount of cilantro on it, but it wasn't enough to enhance the flavor. It also came with chips and queso. The queso was alright, but I liked it better than the chipotle aioli. They have so many screens and the main screen at the bar is massive! You can also check on their website to see what games/matches/fights they're going to be showing for the week. Although some of the food didn't really stand out, the atmosphere certainly makes up for it. If you're a sports fanatic who loves to watch games at a bar, then you will have a great time at Tom's Watch."

We enjoyed a few drinks outside before heading inside when our whole party arrived. Customer service was amazing from start to finish. Shannon took great care of us and gave great suggestions as well since I'm always indecisive. They have a pretty nice amount of beers on draft which are also neatly categorized. I knew I was in for a heavy meal so I went with a cold sour beer to cut through the richness of the food. My friends got a variety of mixed drinks and they loved them. We had the bar set low thinking beer is their thing, but they proved us wrong. I came in thinking I wanted a German meal, but scanned the room and saw a lot of people eating a burger or sandwich of some sort. My focus turned to that side of the menu and Shannon suggested the Big Shawn Sausage Burger. It was a cheeseburger cooked to order with a link of sausage on it. I went with the jalapeño cheddarwurst. This burger was fantastic! One of the better ones I've had in awhile. The burger was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. I thought the addition of sausage was odd at first, but after that first bite, I was hooked. It added another depth of flavor. I got sidewinder fries to go with it. These fries were also crazy good. She made us a gin cocktail that she created and is not on the menu. She doesn't have a name for it, but she was adamant that we would like it and she was right! I really enjoyed it! It had a citrus profile. For my second drink, I had the El Pepino. I subbed vodka in place of the tequila and it was quite good. As I browsed the menu, I realized that they no longer have the beer battered asparagus on the menu. That appetizer was so yummy, but I appreciate the fact that they update the menu. I spotted deviled eggs and immediately ordered them. Unfortunately, these fell a little flat for me. They weren't bad, but they didn't wow me. For my entrée, I ordered the beef short rib.
