After having a drink at a neighboring place and not loving it, we decided to pop over to Bungalow Heights for dinner and another drink. When we arrived, we looked at the drink options and settled on beer and wine. While there, I also tried the frozen aperol spritz which was unique and something to try if you like aperol spritz drinks. As per the usual, its a upscale casual atmosphere and a pleasant place to hang out. As the restaurant was so empty, we decided to just sit at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and happy to make suggestions on food items. We decided to order the chicken quesadilla and the hot crispy chicken sandwich. Both of us enjoyed the meals and thought they were well made but weren't WOW'd with the item/ wouldn't likely order them again. The quesadilla was served with pico, sour cream and black beans which was nice as well. All in all, we'll be back but would likely try other dishes next time.

Checked out Bungalow for the second time last night and the verdict is in, I like this place ! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Nice decor. Southernly charmed patios. Refreshing a/c. Good looking people, cute dogs. Not too busy on a Saturday night, but not at all dead and boring. Great r&b, hip hop popish music from the '00s & '10s that reminded me of great times I've had in my college and yesteryears. They have food. I had a few bites of a friend's fried chicken. It was tender and well seasoned. Another friend had wings and complained that they weren't thoroughly cooked and were very bland. They did look bland and not very appealing.Service was good, fair. A nice place to relax and enjoy time with friends.Parking is free and EZ if you arrive at a reasonable time which is a major htown bonus. Great place!

Bungalow heights was very cute on the outside. Parking was plentiful. Walked in, notice a social fraternizing for retirement party. I notices that dogs were welcome on the patio was awesome to see. Sat down at a high top table, and we had a young lady serve us. She was very nice and recommended some items on the menu. She mentioned their burger was good, tacos. I ordered the street tacos on the menu. When they came out, there was virtually nothing inside. The filling of the taco was as you see it, empty. I wasn't happy with the portion size, so once I told the young lady, she immediately had them remade with the correction portion size. As a reviewer, you have one time to impress me. Unfortunately, I was not impressed nor was the tacos even a complete buzz on the menu. Overall, dining experience was good, but the food was a heck no. Shame on them for charging for imbalanced portions. Imagine if I didn't have the courage to speak up.

My coworkers and I went today for lunch thinking the area wouldn't been too busy. It wasn't at lunch times. Three other tables that we could see sat in an otherwise empty restaurant. Big open air great. However, this quickly turned into a fairly long lunch with the service we received. The Exec chef was the saving grace in making sure that we got the drinks along with food. He took our orders along with followed up with drink orders. I hope the waitress was truly just having an off day. Otherwise I hope they turn counter service even on week days. The use of slow dough bread was great. The street corn was lacking any salt. Meanwhile the big ass pretzel had beyond enough salt as pictured. The queso order was fairly disappointing in size. The overall time it took us was over a hour and half for primarily sandwiches.

First off, Bungalow Heights has a large parking lot compared to most places in the Heights. It's located in a cluster of bars across from Cedar Creek and Wicklow. Drift and McIntyre's is down the street.I've been here about 3-4 times now. There's plenty of indoor seating. There's a small outdoor section with TVs to catch sports games. I like the swing area, but there aren't any TVs around. The sampler has great dipping sauces and a variety of appetizers. I went once for steak night, and the ribeye and cubed potatoes were seasoned well. They put too much dressing on the Caesar salad. I'd ask for it on the side next time. The street corn side was ok, but the bell peppers and onions overpower a traditional elote. I liked the fried green tomatoes. It had a good breading , but the tomato would slip completely out of it. They don't serve a huge portion. The ranch is good. I had the Green With Envy cocktail which is gin and cucumber. It was so refreshing that I had two. Service was great. They brought us extra menus outside when we only grabbed one. The QR code has the drink options. Hannah served us last night, and she had her Bama cap on. Naturally, my friend greeted her with "Roll tide". She was so nice and attentive. We chatted with her a bit about the Bama rush documentary. She wants to be a PT. As an OT, I wished her well and hope that she gets into the program she wants!Overall, it's a nice place to grab a drink, eat, and watch a game.

I really don't like giving two stars on a review but this spot did it for me. This is my 3rd time here & it's all been a pretty disappointing experience. We got here around 9pm & it wasn't busy which is a good thing. The inside was more lively with a crowd that I'll describe as college drunks, but I'm not tripping since we sat outside where it was more chilled & relaxing. The first two times I was here I ordered their rainbow sherbet & old fashioned. The sherbet was solid but the old fashioned was overwhelming with syrup which took away the bourbon taste. My 3rd time here I got their Jack & Coke & some Cajun dry rub wings. My Jack and Coke was a joke, it was watered down & had about 90 percent coke & a pinch of Jack. If you can't make a simple Jack & coke then you shouldn't be a bartender. Even I can make that with my eyes closed. My wings tasted terrible. For 1. They gave me the wrong order since I was given garlic Parmesan instead of Cajun dry rub. But at this point I was already annoyed with this place so I ate what was in front of me. The wings was undercooked & had a gummy texture. Whoever cooked it didn't even attempt to seasoned it. Even the skin was bland. My friend had some chicken tenders and I wished I could've just ordered that because it actually had flavor, his fries was good as well. If you want good wings go to cedar creek. It's actually cooked through, fried hard & flavorful. Overall, it was a below par experience. Some of the bartenders are nice and some are not & they just want your money & get you on your way. Will I come back? Nah I'm good.

Ambiance was great, the espresso martinis from the bar were fabulous, and the fried mashed potato balls were delicious. The service was wonderful as well. The server was attentive but didn't hover.

I've visited Bungalow Heights twice in August for the first time. It's a sports bar/restaurant in a stand alone building that also has its own parking lot which is nice. Inside it's a large room with a full bar and numerous tables (both high and low) along with many TV's on the surrounding walls for their patrons. The food menu is fairly broad and on one of my visits I ordered the chicken salad sandwich with waffle fries ($11) for dinner. This happened to be one of their least expensive meals and came out in about 10 minutes. The sandwich was on a french roll with some arugula added. My biggest complaint about it was that it was served at room temperature and I like my chicken salad at least cool. Also, I thought it lacked flavor but the fries were good and hot. Table service was attentive.I like Bungalow Heights and would return but order another entree.

Despite the rainy weather on a busy Saturday afternoon, we had an excellent dining experience at this restaurant. We were able to find parking in the front lot, and the indoor dining room quickly filled up shortly after our arrival. The patio area, with sides down, provided a comfortable outdoor seating option with the pleasant temperature of around 70 degrees. The food, drinks, and service were all top-notch, making this a highly recommended restaurant

Disappointed! The avocado toast lacked luster. A lot of luster. And a lot of bread! Please use different bread. Egg or no egg. This was not worth $13 nor what avocado toast should be. Avocado toast is about the avocado and the bread, not the egg* Use less garnish, where was the salt and pepper?
