"I have been here twice, first time was in the evening, and second time was early as soon as the restaurant opened. Both visits we received excellent customer service. The entire staff is very pleasant and helpful. The ambiance is great, no tacky decor which is a plus. An abundance of seating which is really nice. As for the food, I have tried: Samosa chaat (not a fan, was served cold and a little too watered down), karak chai (excellent), mango dragon fruit lemonade (delicious), and the chicken sliders (presentation was picture perfect and taste was great. I understand the sizing of a slider, but I just felt like the actual piece of chicken to bun ratio was a little off. It didn't ruin anything for me, just something I noticed). I will definitely continue to be a repeat customer. I hope this franchise thrives in Houston and hopefully makes its way to other big cities like NY."
"Market Skillet hash $13.49 - 2 eggs your way on top of potatoes with mushrooms, zucchini, shallots, red peppers, baby spinach, melted Mozzarella and herbed Goat cheese. Comes with toast and fruit. I got this bc i like the market veggie sandwich. Hash was pretty good. Lots of potatoes and veggies. Huge serving so I took half to go.Gingerbread spiced donut holes $5.99 - (holiday menu) comes with caramel toffee sauce & creme anglaise. These were good. Crispy on the outside, soft and cakey on the inside. Not too sweet. Came with about 12-13 donut holes so there were plenty. Took some to go.Sunny Seoul hash $13.99 - (holiday menu) shaved seared pork with kimchi, cheese, eggs, gochujang aioli. Bf enjoyed it,he struggled to finish it all. Regular coffee $3.69 - good typical house coffee.Kind of loud. Not sure if it's bc it's so open. Also I feel like the prices have increased. They used to be pretty reasonable, but now you're spending $14 for an entree (inflation everywhere though). Portions are generous at least."

Great place to study or get work done. There's outlets all around!Customer service- Great! The barista that took my order was fantastic. I asked her about the coffee shop and she gave me a thorough explanation about the idea behind the coffee shop. I got a chance to actually meet the owner too and she was so sweet :) The owner is into fitness and coffee and so she combined the two! Food/drinks- I got a hot matcha latte with oatmilk and the homemade orange cinnamon syrup on the side to try (the barista recommended it!) I also got a vegan chocolate zucchini muffin that the owner recommended; it was all good!Parking- There's about 15 spots in the lot"
"Cafe Awtar is a new Mediterranean restaurant and hookah lounge located on Richmond ave. close to Little India. I was invited to a private tasting to try a few things off of their menu and to check out the new space. I really appreciate that this establishment serves halal food and provides great service. Although I'm not too familiar with Mediterranean food - blame my upbringing - I truly enjoyed all of the flavors from each dish. The chef has a unique spin on Mediterranean traditional dishes compared to what I've had somewhere else. Their menu offers a lot of options. If you're in the area, bring a friend or two to come check them out! Instagram: @houstonfoodee"
"Loved this family-run bakery in Katy. I tried the honey cake, the strawberry cream cheese kolache, and the spinach kolache. Everything was delicious! The honey cake was my favorite! It was not too sweet, and the layers of cake and cream were perfect. It didn't feel heavy, and I honestly could have eaten the whole thing in one sitting. The kolaches were so fresh. The cream cheese was homemade and paired well with the strawberries. Also kolaches are half off after 4 pm!Can't wait to come back and try more cakes and pastries."
"Loved Citizens of Montrose! My hubby and I enjoyed our brunch here. We got their Barbie Bowl, blueberry pancakes, and their salmon avocado toast. For drinks we got their turmeric latte and dragon fruit mimosa. Everything we ordered was very fresh-tasting and so colorful! Our faves were their pancakes and Barbie Bowl. The pancakes were the fluffiest ever and the Barbie Bowl was very refreshing and not overly sweet. Service was very attentive and friendly. The interior lets in a lot of natural lighting. There's a small shared parking lot to the side. Will definitely return to try their espresso martini happy hour!"
"What amazing food and plating. The Deviled eggs are not what you would expect, they know about flavor pairing and it is obvious with these. Fried goat cheese was also delicious. I went with the SOB for my meal and it was delicious and unlike any brisket sandwich that you have had before. The staff was friendly, helpful and always there with a refill or anything else when needed. Katie's is well decorated and a the type of place that Livingston needs."
"This is the best food in Waller, TX there is no debate or question this is the place hands down. Beside maybe a specialty BBQ pit joint, this place has all dishes covered. It's a nice family place where everyone knows each other and makes you feel welcome. The staff are very nice and polite. Whoever is back in that kitchen hello you wear the title belt! I work in Waller and we've been to pretty much everywhere for lunch. This place is the best!! My favorite is the Reuben Sandwich. Freaking delicious. All their ingredients are fresh and they cook the dishes to perfect temperature that is their secret. Plus, they are super nice which makes you feel welcome and there are positive vibes in there because everyone is happy eating that food! They even have a little gift shop in the back. PArking is tricky but there's always a spot for you. Try the Reuben it's the bomb!"
"City Cafe is great . The food is great always fresh service is quick and very polite everyone is paying attention. The ambiance is normal not sure how else to describe it but not loud . Highly recommended if you are in the Pasadena area or don't mind driving there ."
"Let there be a bagel shop. Here comes New York Deli. I stopped by after a Passover breakfast meeting at my friend's house. I saw a long line at the parking lot next to the Neighborhood Walking. I couldn't resist to wait like everyone else. Yes, the bagels are a little pricey. But I couldn't find freshly baked bagels in Houston. Nice to see one within reach. While waiting in line, I glanced over at an open door, "Ah a coffee shop". According to an employee, that's a full-service restaurant. He recommended that I swing by one day. Yeah, if I didn't have breakfast,Bagels are decent. I only intended to eat half while driving home. But because they tasted so good, I ate just about everything I bought. Oops. Until then."
"Black Walnut Cafe is an excellent dining spot that I have been frequenting for quite some time now. One of the standout features of this place is their impeccable customer service. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, making you feel right at home. They go above and beyond to ensure that your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. Now, let's talk about the food. I must say that I am a huge fan of the tomato basil soup. It is simply outstanding! The soup is creamy, flavorful, and has the perfect balance of spices. It's my go-to dish every time I visit Black Walnut Cafe. However, it's not just the soup that's great - every dish on the menu is top-notch. Whether you're in the mood for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you'll find something delicious to suit your taste buds.In conclusion, Black Walnut Cafe is a fantastic spot to enjoy a satisfying meal. The customer service is top-notch, and the food is simply delicious. If you haven't yet visited this restaurant, I highly recommend it - and don't forget to try the tomato basil soup!"
"We love stopping by Ginger Kale on the way to the zoo or the railroad! The proceeds benefit the Hermann Park Conservancy, which is a nice bonus! The interior is adorable, and they also sell some pretty cute Houston totes and T-shirts.Their coffee is good and decently priced considering they are the only coffee shop for miles around. We've tried several of the prepackaged sweet bread, and they're always so moist and flavorful. We've also had the açaí bowl several times, which is good!If you've never followed the coffee signs to Ginger Kale, you should check it out!"

The Keema Foodles is keema curry mixed with linguine and topped with fried garnishes and fresh chopped green onions. It reminded me of a slightly spicy beef taco mixed with linguine. It comes in a pint container that resembles an ice cream container. The masala chai (medium sweet) was okay. I think I prefer the saffron tea. If the place is slightly busy, the staff may ask you to wait to get your order in as they're busy fulfilling the previous orders.

First off Darron was amazing. Well attentive and very funny. I travel a lot, previously worked restaurant industry as well. If we had more people like Darron things could be much better in our restaurant industry. We need more servers that are approachable and personable like Darron. Darron understands that his job isn't just about people ordering and bringing food. Darron and his fellow restaurant peers take a-lot of crap from people who are always gonna find a way to be unsatisfied and miserable. But yet they continue to come to work everyday and please everyone as much as they can. People need to understand that the restaurant industry are humans and are need to be treated more like humans. We pay people to rap dumb, no meaning, downgrading/demoralizing lyrics. We pay actors to be on a screen and have no care in the world if you didn't like it, we pay athletes to play sports but could care less if we went to their game. but we won't tip the people that literally brought food to our table, filled out cups, clean up, and ensure you have the best experience so you can come back. Let's wake up and support the people that need it Have a great day and thank you Darron and the staff at First Watch in Suga

Got to stop in and check out this new shisha chill spot, delicious food, great service, and the hookah hits! I come here regularly now to do my work, since the atmosphere is calm. It isn't dark and dingy inside like so many other cafes, instead it's welcoming and bright. The food is halal, the owner and staff are all really friendly and welcoming!

WOW WOW WOW!!!Literally the best cake I have ever eaten has come from Kingdom Bakery in Katy, TX!! We ordered a marble crème brulee cake for a birthday in the family, then loved it so much we ordered another for the next birthday less than a month later. We dive from the city to get Kingdom Bakery!I cannot wait until the day I get married because I will definitely be looking to Kingdom Bakery. We loved this cake so much. What we order: the marble cake with the crème brulee icing. How we order: on the phone, always goes greatYou are able to walk in a purchase cakes and other goodies! The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. FYI, you can order the day before for a cake, which is not common for many bakeries.

The food is amazing. Environment during weekend brunch time is crowded and loud (phone measured about 95 dB), but if you are ok with that, give this place a try!Order wisely. The burger, banana bread French toast, and pulled pork Benedict were amazing, but the avocado toast was boring. The person in our group who ordered regretted it.Service could have been better. It wasn't bad, but often times we were left searching for our waiter for water, drink orders, and bill. At one point, a waitress from another area ended up helping us.Parking lot was jammed packed. There were cars going in and leaving because no vacancy. I also heard an argument shouting in the lot because of parking space.Bathroom wasn't kept to the same high standard as the rest of the restaurant. Could have used a little bit of cleaning and paper towel refill.Overall I recommend because of the food. Make a reservation.

This is a cute little establishment in the downtown area of Livingston. The servers were extremely friendly and helpful, and the food is delightful.I very much enjoyed the cappuccino, whichever roast they're using is extremely good. I want to take this entire paragraph to touch upon the cookies. Now I consider myself a cookie connoisseur of sorts, and primarily a lot of my check-ins are bakeries and sweet shops across the US. I will say that the cookies here rival some of the heavy weights in this category that I've been to. Seriously, this is a place that outdoes Crumbl (for example) in every way while maintaining that same sort of big monstrous delicacy that they're known for. I'll highlight the s'mores cookie, the fact that all the flavors gnash together so well, the graham cracker flavor cookie base, the chocolate and the coup de grace marshmallow slathering on top that is perfectly browned. Amazing touch. Love. I will drive here from Houston anytime I'm in the area

Driving to airport and had extra time so wanted to find some home cooking. First stop was Chappell Hill main Street. What a beautiful and classic American Main Street on the hill. Bummed that the only restaurant in town was closed on Monday so off to next town. I found this cafe in Hempstead and had a great lunch , Ca. Burger ( Little ironic ) and bacon potato soup....both outstanding! Stuffed from lunch but server says I have to try the fresh banana cream cake. Not a cream cake fan but agreed to try it. Bam!!! Hard to describe how good it was....seriously I might have to fly back to Texas just for this cake. Do yourself a favor if you are ever in Hempstead just stop in for lunch and order whatever they recommend.
Visit Restaurant Page"This is a great find. Hidden in the first floor of an office building, this is a small sit down breakfast/lunch delight. Counter service with the friendliest staff. The prices are fantastic. The breakfast tacos were delicious. The egg sandwich was huge and incredible. We'll be coming back here often."
"It's a literal mom and pop operation. Somebody's grandma/big granny/yia-yia is in the kitchen baking like crazy. She offers close to 50 differs cakes and pies in total. Not all are available on spec, but put in an order and they'll have it for you.Along with the sweets, they also have comfort food. Burgers and fries and breakfast is available too. In my "humble" opinion the best key lime in the Lake Houston area, awesome peach and apple cobblers.I gotta try the German chocolate in the near future."
"Came here with another for some Lebanese snacks and baked goods. I had heard many good things about this place, and it did not disappoint.Everything is made fresh to order. We selected an assortment of items including regular and fluffy kaak, lahme bil ajiin, falafel, meat pockets, veggie plate, butter sugar pie, and of course Turkish coffee. My favorite item was the regular kaak stuffed with sausage and olives. Yum! The fluffy one with just cheese was not bad, but it needed a better balance of textures and flavors. The lahme bil ajiin was interesting and delightful, a bit sour in taste with flavors I am not accustomed to. The bite sized meat pockets were tasty as well. The butter sugar pie was not a pie at all! It was a flakey pastry instead covered with a sweet syrup and sprinkled with crushed pistachios. It was just okay...The Turkish coffee though, that was tasty and packed quite the punch! It was my first time trying it and hopefully not my last, as it was quite enjoyable.Overall cool experience with some unique offerings I wouldn't find normally."
"Although I'm no stranger to Siphon, I found myself here unexpectedly, after realizing I had 0 desire to wait 2 hours for coffee at a packed new hotspot in Montrose. But this visit exceeded my expectations because Siphon now offers food...and I don't mean the empanadas from years past (no shade to the empanadas, they're pretty dang good), but I'm talking chicken pesto sandwiches, tacos, avo toast, chicken and waffles- a stacked menu, and it's giving :DI tried the chicken sandwich and...wow, all I can say is that they're serving restaurant quality food! If you're new to Siphon, I'd advise visiting during off hours, and they're incredibly popular and space is limited. During these times, parking can require a walk, but I use it as an excuse to walk off the chicken sandwich calories."
"We stopped in for breakfast. They serve breakfast all day and lunch but note their hours, they close at 2 pm. The food was simple and delicious, just what we needed. The service was great and my coffee was kept full and hot. Will come back for lunch!"
"First Watch is a really great place for a healthy breakfast! Based on other's reviews, we came here and really enjoyed a nice breakfast, even though it was super busy! Their menu offers many options for meals that are all health conscious ingredients and recipes. A great choice for any diner looking for a great breakfast! The restaurant was pretty full on arrival, however they were able to seat us rather quickly. The dining area is very clean, modern and a little bit hipster. It's not too loud and it's a great place whether you're a small party or you need to bring a large family with kids. The noise is not too loud and there's plenty of seating. After reviewing the menu (with many great options) we decided on the following breakfast s: the ttraditional breakfast, the Belgian waffles and the pancake breakfast. *All of the waffles and pancakes are made with a healthy grain flour but no big chunks of oats or anything like that to remind you that you're eating healthy. The traditional breakfast is the most popular offering your standard eggs, bacon, seasoned potatoes and toast. The eggs were fresh tasting and not too dry or too wet. The bacon was delicious, thick and seasoned well as well as the potatoes. The toast served with that breakfast is a hearty grain and really delicious! The pancakes were quite large and fluffy and made just right. The eggs were Sunny Side Up along with the delicious bacon. *A big bonus was that the pancakes are up is served warm so you won't be chilling out your pancakes anytime soon. The waffles were a cinnamon waffle which tasted a lot like a churro and those were deliciously fluffy and crispy as a classic waffle should be. The coffee was fresh brewed and not bitter. The staff here was wonderful, very attentive and very personable. We really enjoyed our waitress who had a friendly attitude, even though they were super busy. The tables were kept clean/not sticky and the silverware was spotless. I love the dining area decor with the painted panel doors suspended from the ceiling that gave it a modern but farmhouse style look of decor. I definitely give First Watch two BIG thumbs up and five big stars! Everything is just perfect here, from the quality, ample portions of food, the great staff service and the overall ambiance of the restaurant. This is a really enjoyable place to get a good breakfast with a big smile!"
"Our first time in and on the weekends like any breakfast place it was crowded. We actually first went to First Watch to have brunch but the power was out! Welcome to Texas. So we drove down the highway and decided to try out this place since we were going to the golf shop a few doors down. Our wait was about 20 minutes and we had a friendly welcome and a super sweet waitress. But the service initially was slow but they were apologetic. We were offered some complimentary beignet donuts which were devoured since we had not eaten all morning. Our omelets were delicious but the goat cheese was really lacking so ask for extra goat cheese if you order the veggie omelet. I asked for avocado to top it off. The menu was vast and lots of specialty drinks were offered too. Overall I will probably be back when in the area but not on the weekend. Outside seating and a bar service available too."
"Best hookah spot in Houston and sugar land areaRecommend ambrosia, red gummy and mintAmy and Lauren are great hookahtendersThey serve food and halal foodHave only had the fries. Suggest fries with no season salt.Great seating area, free WiFi and 7 TVsAmbiance is like a sports bar."
"MAGNIFIQUE boulangerie et Cafe.**note...a Yelp new Htown business recommendation Owner Peggy welcomed us to her cafe with the smells of delicious croissants and cappuccino. As soon as we walked in, Peggy told us how she recently opened 3 months ago and bought the cafe from her close friend .We came for croissants, and Peggy asked for us to wait a few moments as she was cooking some fresh. How could you resist??Christian, the coffee batista, had the cappuccino down and was able to perfect the coffee designs you would expect in a cafe in France. It's definitely worth the drive to support this female owned new business. Customer support:Magnifique Parking: plentiful Return: Absolutely"
"Whaaa!!! I'm in tears. I am so happy that Coco's Cafe 可可餐飮 in Sugarland - the one-and-only Taiwanese restaurant still here after CoVid restaurant lockdown of 2020 and chaotic year of restrictions in 2021.My sister requested a special trip because she remembered the tastes when she visited 6 years ago. That was when I hosted Taste of Taiwan UYE and discovered Coco's Cafe has what we crave for. They removed stinky tofu from the menu due to a complaint from a group of customers walked out years ago.We chatted with the owner Mr. Wang. He said they stayed open during CoVid, simply because they didn't have anything else to do. That's a lot of restaurant owners said. It's either stay at home do nothing or come to work because of their passion in feeding hungry customers. They had trouble finding employees, just like any restaurants out there. So, your patience is required. From where I can tell, Mr. Wang will continue serving delicious Taiwanese food until the lease ends. You better hurry up before it's too late."
"Stopped here for breakfast while working in Huffman on Saturday. Every small town in Texas used to have a place like this that's open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food itself is standard diner fare and it's well above average. The staff is beyond friendly and takes pride in both their food and their service.Well worth the stop if you're in the area and hungry."
"I came to work out of the Coffee House just to switch up my work setting. I got here at 10am on a Monday and there were a few parking spots available but they do have parking and a decent amount of it. The cafe is three floors, along with a rooftop so there's plenty of space for everyone. I primarily worked out of the 3rd floor but only stayed a few hours because it was FREEZING up there! I even asked if they could turn the air off or the heat up but neither of those things happened. I will say the first and second floor were not as cold. The staff were great and the butter croissant I had was delicious. My only suggestion would be to close down for a day or two and conduct a very deep cleaning of the cafe. It wasn't dirty in the least bit but just a bit dusty. A deep clean would certainly help."
"Super cool atmosphere! It was difficult to find but the coffee was smooth. Just a large building where it's located on first floor !"
"Bonus Cafe took over the old Zero Degrees location on Pearland Pkwy which at first I was a little bummed about, but after finally trying it, Bonus Cafe is here to stay hopefully!Originally I heard about Bonus Cafe because a friend mentioned that their ube creme brulee tiger sugar was better than "The Alley's" in Katy. Living near Pearland, Katy is an hour away, and if the Bonus Cafe makes it better, why make the drive out there? To my surprise, Bonus Cafe really does make a better ube creme brulee tiger sugar. I literally come here just for that drink now! It's creamy, ube flavor is rich, but not overly decadent like the Alley's. I like their consistently soft, warm tapioca, only thing I might like better is if it was just slightly less sweet.Bonus Cafe has a lot of other drinks I haven't gotten to try yet, but I know I'll be back. I'm most interested in trying their milk tea because that's the true test to see how good any tapioca shop is. I really like that they have a lot of food/snacks on the menu also. If I didn't already eat before coming here, I would have definitely wanted to try their popcorn chicken or banh mi. Can't wait to come again Bonus Cafe!Bonus tip: 10% discount to all students that show a student ID."
"I was in the area and decided to visit this spot. Love the vibe of this coffee shop. The music playing in the background was so chill, and the paintings throughout were so cool and unique (FYI - if you do like them and want to take these paintings home, you can purchase them). There were hanging plants above me and a lovely bookshelf display on the far wall. There was a bar with seating and outlets for people to do work here. That being said, parking here, as anywhere in downtown, is just a pain in the a**. Thankfully, street parking at the metered spots was free on Sunday. You'll have to pay during certain times from Monday thru Saturday to avoid being towed or ticketed. This is not to mention the area surrounding this coffeeshop can be quite sketchy. So, be careful with your belongings and try to park as close as possible. Or just take an Uber or Lyft here if you live close by. I perused their menu beforehand and decided to try out their lavender latte (hot) with oat milk. The barista did a good job with making this drink quite pleasant, as the lavender flavor wasn't overpowering and didn't taste like soap. But, I did wish I could taste more of the espresso in here. It wasn't caffeinated enough for me. Next time I'm in the area, I'll just order a plain flat white and add extra espresso shots as needed. Of note, they also serve pastries, kolaches, tacos, and quiches if you want to munch on something with your drink. One more thing to mention is that they seem to be one of the few coffee shops downtown open on a Sunday. Yay. So, if you're around the area, come and check them out."
"Mille Cafe might be my new favorite place to get some work done on my laptop in the Baybrook Mall area. Authentic Vietnamese drinks and snacks. Lots of natural lighting. Modern interior. Friendly staff. What took over the old 85°C bakery space, Mille Cafe is a great addition to the Baybrook area. They have plenty of seating, tables, chairs, and outlets whether you're getting work done or just meeting with friends. They offer a variety of Vietnamese coffee, tea, drinks, pastries, croffles, banh mi, and other snacks. I personally loved their ube coffee and banh mi xiu mai. The ube coffee had that strong Vietnamese coffee taste, but was balanced out with sweet ube cold foam. Then the banh mi had great crusty bread, pickled carrots, juicy meatballs, and special sauce to bring it all together. The coffee and banh mi was the perfect mid day study pick me up that I needed.Overall, Mille Cafe is a great Vietnamese family owned coffee shop. With their unique variety of drinks and snacks, I can definitely see this place doing really well for years to come. Next time I'll be back to try their tapioca drinks for sure, enjoy!"
"What a fantastic find!!!! If you're driving by, you'll miss it! You see the treehouse, but not the restaurant! Which is the best part!! You walk down a path through the trees and come across the restaurant! There are tortoises on either side of the bridge you have to cross to go inside! We were greeted by friendly staff when we walked in! Despite the heat of summer, we chose to sit outside due to the fans! All the trees helped to block the sun, so we were fine! Plus my little girl got to run around and watch the turtles walk around! Our waitress was very attentive and did not rush us! They had huge mimosas!! We decided to split the blue burger! Tons of flavor and plenty of food for 2! My daughter loved the grilled cheese!! If you've been thinking about stopping, stop!! It's a precious place with lots of options!!! Hope this review gets seen and you get to experience this gem!!"
"LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Must go to if you're nearby for breakfast or lunch! Even if you're not nearby, please make the drive. YOU WON'T BE DISSAPPOINTED!! Friendly staff and amazing food!!!"
"New ownership has improved the menu through simplification and quality ingredients. Stuff was attentive. If they could brighten up the decor it would help the ambiance."
"Pretty cute café in the woodlands waterway area! They were quite busy on Sunday morning around 11am. They have 3 little nooks that can sit 6 people per nook and a few 2 person seating areas. Staff was friendly and efficient.Ordered a honey lavender iced latte and pretty strong on the lavender flavor which I liked alot. For food, I got the breakfast burrito which had hashbrown, bacon and scrambled eggs + guac on the side. Only thing I would add is some side of salsa. Will be back!"
"Service is fantastic super friendly I saw tons of their regulars And they know each other very wellSeems like a family business not sure about it The latte is good and very pretty The croissant was not good Has a super weird taste like lamb cheese I don't like it at all. The vibe is great and lovely."
"This is a super odd place to me. I came here with fellow yelper, Brittany B, at her recommendation. We walked in and there were several folks standing at and around the counter and nothing really going on. I finally had to ask if they were ordering, waiting, or something else, and they were undecided on what to order. Brittany and I were curious about what the Soup of the Day was, as it's on the menu. So I asked the girl working the register and she blurts out "No Soup". Well excuse me, Little Miss Soup Nazi!! So feeling like I was in a Seinfeld episode, I turned to Brittany and said "No soup for you!". Geez. Both Beebster and I ordered the pesto chicken lettuce wraps. They were good but really needed more chicken. I found myself still hungry after eating all 3 and the side salad I got. Can't say I would be back, but I suppose if I found myself nearby, I might. Hopefully next time they have soup!"
