"I have been here twice, first time was in the evening, and second time was early as soon as the restaurant opened. Both visits we received excellent customer service. The entire staff is very pleasant and helpful.The ambiance is great, no tacky decor which is a plus. An abundance of seating which is really nice. As for the food, I have tried: Samosa chaat (not a fan, was served cold and a little too watered down), karak chai (excellent), mango dragon fruit lemonade (delicious), and the chicken sliders (presentation was picture perfect and taste was great. I understand the sizing of a slider, but I just felt like the actual piece of chicken to bun ratio was a little off. It didn't ruin anything for me, just something I noticed). I will definitely continue to be a repeat customer. I hope this franchise thrives in Houston and hopefully makes its way to other big cities like NY."

There's outlets all around!Customer service- Great! The barista that took my order was fantastic. I asked her about the coffee shop and she gave me a thorough explanation about the idea behind the coffee shop. I got a chance to actually meet the owner too and she was so sweet :) The owner is into fitness and coffee and so she combined the two! Food/drinks- I got a hot matcha latte with oatmilk and the homemade orange cinnamon syrup on the side to try (the barista recommended it!) I was invited to a private tasting to try a few things off of their menu and to check out the new space. I really appreciate that this establishment serves halal food and provides great service. Although I'm not too familiar with Mediterranean food - blame my upbringing - I truly enjoyed all of the flavors from each dish. The chef has a unique spin on Mediterranean traditional dishes compared to what I've had somewhere else. Their menu offers a lot of options. "Loved this family-run bakery in Katy. I tried the honey cake, the strawberry cream cheese kolache, and the spinach kolache. Everything was delicious! The honey cake was my favorite! It was not too sweet, and the layers of cake and cream were perfect. It didn't feel heavy, and I honestly could have eaten the whole thing in one sitting. The kolaches were so fresh. "This is the best food in Waller, TX there is no debate or question this is the place hands down. Beside maybe a specialty BBQ pit joint, this place has all dishes covered. I work in Waller and we've been to pretty much everywhere for lunch. This place is the best!! My favorite is the Reuben Sandwich. Freaking delicious. "Came here with another for some Lebanese snacks and baked goods. I had heard many good things about this place, and it did not disappoint.Everything is made fresh to order. We selected an assortment of items including regular and fluffy kaak, lahme bil ajiin, falafel, meat pockets, veggie plate, butter sugar pie, and of course Turkish coffee. My favorite item was the regular kaak stuffed with sausage and olives. Yum! The fluffy one with just cheese was not bad, but it needed a better balance of textures and flavors. The lahme bil ajiin was interesting and delightful, a bit sour in taste with flavors I am not accustomed to. The bite sized meat pockets were tasty as well. The butter sugar pie was not a pie at all! It was a flakey pastry instead covered with a sweet syrup and sprinkled with crushed pistachios. It was just okay...The Turkish coffee though, that was tasty and packed quite the punch! It was my first time trying it and hopefully not my last, as it was quite enjoyable.Overall cool experience with some unique offerings I wouldn't find normally."

"Although I'm no stranger to Siphon, I found myself here unexpectedly, after realizing I had 0 desire to wait 2 hours for coffee at a packed new hotspot in Montrose. But this visit exceeded my expectations because Siphon now offers food...and I don't mean the empanadas from years past (no shade to the empanadas, they're pretty dang good), but I'm talking chicken pesto sandwiches, tacos, avo toast, chicken and waffles- a stacked menu, and it's giving :DI tried the chicken sandwich and...wow, all I can say is that they're serving restaurant quality food! If you're new to Siphon, I'd advise visiting during off hours, and they're incredibly popular and space is limited. During these times, parking can require a walk, but I use it as an excuse to walk off the chicken sandwich calories."

"First Watch is a really great place for a healthy breakfast! Based on other's reviews, we came here and really enjoyed a nice breakfast, even though it was super busy! Their menu offers many options for meals that are all health conscious ingredients and recipes. A great choice for any diner looking for a great breakfast! The restaurant was pretty full on arrival, however they were able to seat us rather quickly. The dining area is very clean, modern and a little bit hipster. It's not too loud and it's a great place whether you're a small party or you need to bring a large family with kids. The noise is not too loud and there's plenty of seating. After reviewing the menu (with many great options) we decided on the following breakfast s: the ttraditional breakfast, the Belgian waffles and the pancake breakfast. *All of the waffles and pancakes are made with a healthy grain flour but no big chunks of oats or anything like that to remind you that you're eating healthy. The traditional breakfast is the most popular offering your standard eggs, bacon, seasoned potatoes and toast. The eggs were fresh tasting and not too dry or too wet. The bacon was delicious, thick and seasoned well as well as the potatoes. The toast served with that breakfast is a hearty grain and really delicious! The pancakes were quite large and fluffy and made just right. The eggs were Sunny Side Up along with the delicious bacon. *A big bonus was that the pancakes are up is served warm so you won't be chilling out your pancakes anytime soon. The waffles were a cinnamon waffle which tasted a lot like a churro and those were deliciously fluffy and crispy as a classic waffle should be. The coffee was fresh brewed and not bitter. The staff here was wonderful, very attentive and very personable. We really enjoyed our waitress who had a friendly attitude, even though they were super busy. The tables were kept clean/not sticky and the silverware was spotless. I love the dining area decor with the painted panel doors suspended from the ceiling that gave it a modern but farmhouse style look of decor. I definitely give First Watch two BIG thumbs up and five big stars! Everything is just perfect here, from the quality, ample portions of food, the great staff service and the overall ambiance of the restaurant. This is a really enjoyable place to get a good breakfast with a big smile!"

Welcome to Texas.So we drove down the highway and decided to try out this place since we were going to the golf shop a few doors down. Our wait was about 20 minutes and we had a friendly welcome and a super sweet waitress. But the service initially was slow but they were apologetic. We were offered some complimentary beignet donuts which were devoured since we had not eaten all morning. Our omelets were delicious but the goat cheese was really lacking so ask for extra goat cheese if you order the veggie omelet. I asked for avocado to top it off. The menu was vast and lots of specialty drinks were offered too. Overall I will probably be back when in the area but not on the weekend. Outside seating and a bar service available too."

I am so happy that Coco's Cafe 可可餐飮 in Sugarland - the one-and-only Taiwanese restaurant still here after CoVid restaurant lockdown of 2020 and chaotic year of restrictions in 2021.My sister requested a special trip because she remembered the tastes when she visited 6 years ago. That was when I hosted Taste of Taiwan UYE and discovered Coco's Cafe has what we crave for. They removed stinky tofu from the menu due to a complaint from a group of customers walked out years ago.We chatted with the owner Mr. Wang. He said they stayed open during CoVid, simply because they didn't have anything else to do. That's a lot of restaurant owners said. It's either stay at home do nothing or come to work because of their passion in feeding hungry customers. They had trouble finding employees, just like any restaurants out there. So, your patience is required.From where I can tell, Mr. Wang will continue serving delicious Taiwanese food until the lease ends. You better hurry up before it's too late."

I got here at 10am on a Monday and there were a few parking spots available but they do have parking and a decent amount of it. The cafe is three floors, along with a rooftop so there's plenty of space for everyone. I primarily worked out of the 3rd floor but only stayed a few hours because it was FREEZING up there! I even asked if they could turn the air off or the heat up but neither of those things happened. I will say the first and second floor were not as cold. The staff were great and the butter croissant I had was delicious. My only suggestion would be to close down for a day or two and conduct a very deep cleaning of the cafe. It wasn't dirty in the least bit but just a bit dusty. A deep clean would certainly help."

Living near Pearland, Katy is an hour away, and if the Bonus Cafe makes it better, why make the drive out there? To my surprise, Bonus Cafe really does make a better ube creme brulee tiger sugar. I literally come here just for that drink now! It's creamy, ube flavor is rich, but not overly decadent like the Alley's. I like their consistently soft, warm tapioca, only thing I might like better is if it was just slightly less sweet.Bonus Cafe has a lot of other drinks I haven't gotten to try yet, but I know I'll be back. I'm most interested in trying their milk tea because that's the true test to see how good any tapioca shop is. I really like that they have a lot of food/snacks on the menu also. If I didn't already eat before coming here, I would have definitely wanted to try their popcorn chicken or banh mi. "I was in the area and decided to visit this spot. Love the vibe of this coffee shop. The music playing in the background was so chill, and the paintings throughout were so cool and unique (FYI - if you do like them and want to take these paintings home, you can purchase them). There were hanging plants above me and a lovely bookshelf display on the far wall. There was a bar with seating and outlets for people to do work here. That being said, parking here, as anywhere in downtown, is just a pain in the a**. Thankfully, street parking at the metered spots was free on Sunday. You'll have to pay during certain times from Monday thru Saturday to avoid being towed or ticketed. This is not to mention the area surrounding this coffeeshop can be quite sketchy. So, be careful with your belongings and try to park as close as possible. Or just take an Uber or Lyft here if you live close by. I perused their menu beforehand and decided to try out their lavender latte (hot) with oat milk. The barista did a good job with making this drink quite pleasant, as the lavender flavor wasn't overpowering and didn't taste like soap. But, I did wish I could taste more of the espresso in here. It wasn't caffeinated enough for me. Next time I'm in the area, I'll just order a plain flat white and add extra espresso shots as needed. Of note, they also serve pastries, kolaches, tacos, and quiches if you want to munch on something with your drink. One more thing to mention is that they seem to be one of the few coffee shops downtown open on a Sunday. Yay. So, if you're around the area, come and check them out."

Friendly staff.What took over the old 85°C bakery space, Mille Cafe is a great addition to the Baybrook area. They have plenty of seating, tables, chairs, and outlets whether you're getting work done or just meeting with friends. They offer a variety of Vietnamese coffee, tea, drinks, pastries, croffles, banh mi, and other snacks. I personally loved their ube coffee and banh mi xiu mai. The ube coffee had that strong Vietnamese coffee taste, but was balanced out with sweet ube cold foam. Then the banh mi had great crusty bread, pickled carrots, juicy meatballs, and special sauce to bring it all together. The coffee and banh mi was the perfect mid day study pick me up that I needed.Overall, Mille Cafe is a great Vietnamese family owned coffee shop. With their unique variety of drinks and snacks, I can definitely see this place doing really well for years to come. Next time I'll be back to try their tapioca drinks for sure, enjoy!"

So I asked the girl working the register and she blurts out "No Soup". Well excuse me, Little Miss Soup Nazi!!
