Busy downtown coffee shop, we had two lattes which I liked but bf said its too milky/light. Place has nice art and cool eclectic decor, noise level is medium/high. They have some pastries that look very pale lol we didnt try any. Convenient location though.

Absolutely LOVED this place. The food is great, don't expect massive plates, their all small/medium sized things like tacos, pastries, burritos, etc.Coffee is GREAT, they go between medium dark and light roast. I got the Texas latte iced and it was amazing. The inside of the coffee shop does have limited seating but somehow everyone makes it work. Coming from Seattle, the coffee capital of America, this place really reminded me of some of the Seattle spots- rustic/artist interior, awesome staff, and great coffee! 10/10 recommend you drop in!

I am so grateful to have found Day 6 Coffee. The day after the storm, I lost electricity. I desperately needed wireless, as I had a project to work on and then later facilitate via Teams. Thank goodness, Day 6 was open so early. The baristas were so kind and inviting, even as I lugged in my behemoth of a printer. My cheesecake latte was delish. I later bought a warm blueberry muffin, also yummy. The amazing staff also directed me to a lounge area in the back of the shop that I could use. Awesome! The shop itself is wonderfully decorated with art and the music played is enjoyable and at a good level. I truly fell in love with this coffee shop, it feels like community. I will be back for sure!

Cute spot! The baristas are nice and the service is quick. They have a good selection of options. I got an iced matcha with regular milk and it was yummy! The music was great and the spot itself was cozy. I'd recommend and stop by again.

4/5 stars mostly due to very limited space. This coffee shop is very cute and has great vibes! However, there was barely enough room for more than 1 person at the order counter and very limited seating even though this was a Monday at 11am. Seemed crowded for the middle of a work day. I ended up sitting in a small lounge area in the back which wasn't as warm and cute but did the trick until I could finish my breakfast sandwich.I got the Texas latte with oatmilk and the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. The latte was smooth, sweet, and EXTREMELY HOT but it hit the spot after I let it cool off for a bit. The egg sandwich was delicious and served with a small side of a creamy verde sauce that I decided to add and was very pleased with. The staff was very friendly! The person who took our order was pleasant and patient. Every staff member either greeted us or thanked us for coming in. If I'm in Houston again, I would love to return but may take my coffee to go and give it some time to cool before I take my first sip!

I tried an iced texas latte and a brisket kolache. The coffee was great and the kolache was bigger than I expected which was awesome cause lots of coffee shops sell small items for a similar price. The inside is neat and well decorated but a bit small. There are also a few tables outside where you can sit if you aren't lucky enough to snag a seat inside.I did not park here but it seems like it could be difficult to find a parking spot, I would suggest to find parking where possible and take a brisk walk if needed. This establishment did not disappoint, I'm excited for my next visit.

I've been twice now and I can say it's soooo good. They did give my order to someone else today and I had to wait for them to remake it then it was the wrong order thy gave me their tacos are delicious as well as the sandwiches. They are served with a tasty green salsa. The texas latte is very sweet if you're a sweet coffee person, other wise a plain hot latte is so good. Shop local coffee

I was in the area and decided to visit this spot. Love the vibe of this coffee shop. The music playing in the background was so chill, and the paintings throughout were so cool and unique (FYI - if you do like them and want to take these paintings home, you can purchase them). There were hanging plants above me and a lovely bookshelf display on the far wall. There was a bar with seating and outlets for people to do work here. That being said, parking here, as anywhere in downtown, is just a pain in the a**. Thankfully, street parking at the metered spots was free on Sunday. You'll have to pay during certain times from Monday thru Saturday to avoid being towed or ticketed. This is not to mention the area surrounding this coffeeshop can be quite sketchy. So, be careful with your belongings and try to park as close as possible. Or just take an Uber or Lyft here if you live close by. I perused their menu beforehand and decided to try out their lavender latte (hot) with oat milk. The barista did a good job with making this drink quite pleasant, as the lavender flavor wasn't overpowering and didn't taste like soap. But, I did wish I could taste more of the espresso in here. It wasn't caffeinated enough for me. Next time I'm in the area, I'll just order a plain flat white and add extra espresso shots as needed. Of note, they also serve pastries, kolaches, tacos, and quiches if you want to munch on something with your drink. One more thing to mention is that they seem to be one of the few coffee shops downtown open on a Sunday. Yay. So, if you're around the area, come and check them out.

Finally got to try this coffee shop I've been eyeing for a while - especially since it's black owned! Love the interior of Day 6 Coffee - Very warm vibe with nice ambiance. Not too much seating but enough for the morning rush. Came in around 8:30am on a Thursday. There was ample paid street parking and it wasn't bad since I was there for less than two hours.I ordered a lavender latte with oat milk. Really enjoyed it - the lavender flavor really came through and wasn't too sweet. I also had a breakfast taco with potato. Wasn't the best breakfast taco I ever had, but there was a ton of egg and loved the sauce!Would love to come back!
