Way overpriced, 2 juices, one water and a slice of blueberry cake was $33 and the juices were disgusting. Avoid this place at all cost if you can.

We love stopping by Ginger Kale on the way to the zoo or the railroad! The proceeds benefit the Hermann Park Conservancy, which is a nice bonus! The interior is adorable, and they also sell some pretty cute Houston totes and T-shirts.Their coffee is good and decently priced considering they are the only coffee shop for miles around. We've tried several of the prepackaged sweet bread, and they're always so moist and flavorful. We've also had the açaí bowl several times, which is good!If you've never followed the coffee signs to Ginger Kale, you should check it out!

Located right in Hermann park near the zoo. Great place to grab food or drinks or both to have on hand to walk around, or for a picnic, or just to people watch.There is setting inside - table booth style and also plenty of patio seating. I ordered the veggie hash breakfast taco which is a good size and delicious. Mostly eggs but I'm not complaining, I liked it. Washed it down with the brown sugar cinnamon oat decaf latte iced. I did take to go the matcha strawberry chia pudding. That was absolutely delicious and would come back again to grab this!Inside is clean with cute decor and service was excellent. There is alcohol beverages as well as some kid friendly chooses.

Their lunch tasted better than I expected, and they have an excellent ambiance (being in Hermann park and all). Unfortunately, their service is lacking in the efficiency department. I got the smash burger which tasted really good, but wasn't actually a smash burger IMO. My girlfriend got a simple grilled cheese that looked a little sad but tasted of grilled cheese, and we both got fries. These. Fries. Are. Great. The portion is ginormous and they season them really well. Overall it's a good place to have lunch if you're in the park anyways, but they're strong suit is probably latte's and such.

This is the cutest place. It is very small, but decorated so well. It is right by the zoo and Hermann park, so it is great to get to walk to and get coffee. Their coffee is delicious, and so is their chia pudding and avocado toast. The service is great as well! I love this place.

When you visit hermann park, first beware of parking during the weekend (there are so many people). Second, if you didn't pack anything for lunch or dinner, there isn't much to choose except for few food trucks or Ginger Kale inside the park. We were getting hungry after wasting alot of time trying to find a parking space and when we did we first went to ginger kale for quick lunch. I loved the vibe because you can sit outside (if you can find a table) and it's right in front of the hermann park lake. With the perfect weather and a little bit of luck we were able to find a table for us. We ordered the egg croissant sandwich and GK burger combo. The fries were so good and you must try it. The burger and the sandwich were so-so. The strawberry lemonade wasn't good either. However this spot is a solid 4 because of the location and certain menus are worth trying. Eg. I want to try little pastries or desserts/ macarons and coffees. And instead of waiting hopelessly for a table I can just to go a macaron and a coffee and just walk around the park or sit on a park bench and enjoy the weather. If you are in Hermann Park and want to give this a try, try the pastries and coffees Or fries!

You can tell they just hire any random person that applies there. The 2 employees could not give less of a **** about the crowd of customers there. Also, I'm no prude but one of their outfits was more becoming of a night club than a cafe that families frequent. I'm talking about seeing....more than anyone wants to see.Oh the food is incredibly mid and it's grimy inside. To be fair, it is a high traffic park cafe, so this part is not unexpected.
