"Best tortas in Houston, if there's another place with such a great tortas in Houston please let me know because I haven't find a better place. I don't share the same idea about their tacos and the rest of food options they have since is easier to find good tacos. But, tortas! (Mexican hamburger) Here's the place."
"Awesome street tacos! I will absolutely be back for the insanely delicious Luvary Tacos - they have cheese melted in between the first and second tortilla, and the meat they use is so flavorful! They top them off with sautéed onion and cilantro, and all the flavors meld together so well. I only got one, and regretted my decision after the first bite! I also tried the Barbacoa and the Pastor tacos. The Pastor was good, but the barbacoa fell a little flat - it was cooked well though. The Luvary taco was $2, and the others were each a dollar, so very reasonably priced. Please note this place is CASH ONLY - so be prepared for that. Can't wait to come back and try some of the other menu items (and post pictures since I forgot to take them!)"

"Really good tacos but lemme tell ya...very sketchy area to be standing alone if you're a female... I have come here multiple of times and have been approached by random people and stared at by this one guy coming from the Lulu liquor store towards me when I was waiting for my corn elote and taco order! I thought I was gonna get robbed that day lol. I would suggest ordering and only taking out your form of payment when you step out of your car. ( they take card and cash). Don't be a victim with your fancy bags and what not. And if you have a large order wait in your car and then get it when they signal you. The tacos are about $2 a piece for the al carbon beef but super flavorful and the aroma here is on point. Corn elote is okay but the must get item is their taco and delicious green salsa!"
"Love, love, love this food stand at the Post. There's always a long line, but it's worth the wait. The food comes out fairly quickly and hot.I went with a friend visiting from Portland who wanted to order all the sides. We had ordered a few different things from the other food places in the food court area. Out of the sides, the collard greens were my fave. It wasn't vinegary. The broth it was marinated in was sooo good with the braised meat. It is on the soupier side. The greens weren't bitter. This is the best collard greens I've had. I could've eaten a bowl of this as a soup. The only thing missing is maybe adding some heat as an option. The Nashville hot chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I like how they use a thigh for dark meat. It's so juicy and flavorful. It's also topped with the kale kimchi slaw to add some acidity. The buttered Texas toast is a nice touch but can be difficult to eat since everything falls out. The fries are crispy and seasoned well.Aside from ChopnBlok (my other Post fave), Lea Jane's is definitely a staple when you come here!"
"This was a lovely surprise! We saw this food truck outside of our complex and said why don't we have that for dinner and I'm so glad we did! Where do I start the cashier was super nice, my husband said he enjoyed his two meat plate and that it was super juicy and flavorful. My pulled pork sandwich was awesome, the Mac and cheese I loved it's super creamy with a hint of jalapeño peppers and the stuffed jalapeños are to die for there super crispy and creamy and everything you could want! Overall if you see this food truck you should come by you won't regret it!"
"If you are in Houston, this place is worth the drive. It's located in the parking lot of a car garage with outdoor seating, and can be easy to miss so slow down as you approach to turn into the right driveway. The food was amazing! Everything was freshly made and you can taste it. My husband and I devoured our birria tacos, it was so good. We also got the loaded fries with fajita, which are a good starter but you get so much so it's nice to get to share but wouldn't get it as a side. The most unique thing we got was the birria ramen - absolutely a must try. It's served in an instant ramen container but the broth and toppings are made in house I think, the broth is rich and full of birria seasoning, and it's topped with some cheese and meat. I dropped the onion, cilantro, and lime in there and it was so delicious. This is a meal in itself, so we took the rest home (probably not great after but I couldn't throw it away!). If you are looking for a great birria option, this place does not disappoint!"
"First let's start by giving kudos for the customer service! They saw we were perplexed and gave us a sample rib. Whew! The ribs are worth the trip alone. The portions are plentiful and they taste flavorful! We are going back for the potatoes and smoked oxtails. They were sold out I assume we need to get there before 4pm on a Saturday."
"What can I say? It's freaking delicious. I got the beef shawarma and that's what I recommend. I got the plate which came with some veggies and rice and a delicious garlic sauce. I also tried the hubby's chicken shawarma, which was also delish! The hummus was good too, but they didn't provide any bread or naan to go with....boo! And this was weird, they served eggrolls. They were good too, ha! But definitely a very weird option to have on the menu. Anyway, the food is amazing and well priced! Talk about eating a very tasty meal for under $10!Follow me on my way to Foodietown! http://britneygfoodie.yelp.com"
"Worth the wait! TX Cheese Steak was loaded, great heat and bread was toasted to perfection. Dirty Red Chili was no joke, great flavor and climbing heat. Great customer service, professional and fast. Can't wait to try more!"
"Why 5 stars? Because it lived up to the hype. --- --- ---28 reviews and every single one is 5 stars? There's no way it can be that good, right?Let me just say this: If you don't love the tacos from Taco Keto, you're just an angry person.I lived the first 22 years of my life in the Friendswood/Clear Lake area but was never into 2 things:1) Being a foodie2) Exploring around in the "Big City"And for my return home this past Christmas, it was time to un-do that horrible behavior. I'd seen enough of the suburbs in my life - it was time for my introduction to Houston's best.My flight landed at Hobby. My mom picked me up. We went directly to Taco Keto.Oh...the GOODNESS that was contained inside of that 6 inch tortilla. Sometimes the Mexican food can be lacking here in Tampa...but one bite of this paradise, and I was right back at home.I told the employee that I was fresh off the plane from Tampa, and she told me that the day before a couple came in from Chicago. The word is getting out...and soon...Taco Keto will be a National Phenomenon."
"They only take cash! But this is a legit authentic taco spot!! Great prices and people there will help you translate if you don't speak Spanish.Very friendly patrons and people! And better food!!I love their green sauce and their quesadillas!!It's a yellow truck on Jones rd. It's Pretty hard to miss! Lol"

Okay I don't know how this man marinates & cooks his taco meat but it is absurdly delicious! The tacos are never greasy and he is very generous with portions. Don't get me started on that torta Cubana... Never in my life have I tasted a torta so good the bread complements every flavor inside so well! Toasty and buttery! The only thing wrong is that he isn't around my house corner haha we drive all the way from the woodlands when we crave tacos.. Yes that is how good this mans food is! My sister who lives in pearland recommended this place & she too comes often. Give him a try I promise you won't regret it!

Got the spicy chicken waffle cone, it was amazing! The macaroni and cheese was very cheesy and paired well with the chicken bites that were tender and spicy. The waffle cone was crispy and there was a slight sweetness in it that balanced out the savory flavors of the chicken and mac and cheese. Price was very reasonable for a food hall too!

New to the area and found my favorite taco spot in Houston. The flavors were on point!! I had a shrimp Carne Asada and beef taco and they were all delicious. The service and ambience was amazing. They ran out of beans but everything else was exceptional so I couldn't take away stars. They compensated with a replacement that was sufficient. It's a hard YES for me! Looking forward to trying additional items on the menu.

This BBQ is so delicious! It reminds me of that nice, smoked Q that you only get a family reunions cooked by the old schoolUncles! I had a pound of ribs, brisket, and sausage at a good price! Brisket is moist and tender and the meat falls off the bones of the ribs. The beef sausage is a little spicy so be prepared for that flavor! I have also tried their fried fish, shrimp, and wings - I believe it's offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only. The bbq is a Friday and Saturday thing. Order early 'cause they will and do sell out.

"The taquitos are so good! Definitely a spot for some good tacos. We also got the quesadilla and burrito! All was delicious- and the green salsa was soo spicy but that good kinda spicy! The owner is really nice aswell! Recommend the chicharron!"
"Ordered Lobster roll way over priced. That was the negative but the other food hit the mark Korean bbq po boy and garlic crab fries."
"UPDATE: New location is 19234 Kuykendahl Rd. Spring, TX 77379 as of 1/3/2023! We went to the original (now old) location on 17706 Kuykendahl Rd Spring, TX 77379 tonight and it was empty - we immediately got sad because this has been our go-to taco truck for the past year! They do have a sign stating they moved locations & I called to confirm.Needless to say, 10/10 I still recommend and this is our favorite food truck!"
"Munches Good Eats, named after their late father "MUNCH" is family owned and operated by a brother sister duo from Chicago (Tracy & Kevin). Very nice and friendly. I have been to the truck a few times since they have opened and the food is really good. A must try are the Chicken Tips. If you like bbq rib tips than you will like these. Especially if you are from the northern states or midwest. My other favorites are the fish and Jerk tacos and Jerk Rolls, but beware not to bite them when you first get them you will burn your mouth they're hot and fresh from the fryer.Make sure to try all the sauces mild sauce a Chicago staple, Jerk sauce hot or mild, bbq sauce. They even have banana pudding made the young chef Caylee."
"I stopped by this food truck in the Gosling Express Food Truck Park for a late lunch the other day (they open at 2pm). I had the garlic shrimp for an entree and an alcapurria on the side, and washed it down with a Mate India soda. Overall the meal was very successful, I can heartily recommend it.The garlic shrimp dish is true to its name--shrimp cooked in a garlic butter sauce, reminding me very much of shrimp scampi. The shrimp were nicely cooked, and the shells were softened up enough that I just ate them whole. The dish comes with a choice of sides--rice, tostones (fried plantain) or mofongo. Mofongo is a savory mashed plantain casserole formed tightly in a mold. It has a great combination of textures, and it went particularly well with this dish as it soaked up that garlic butter sauce to make it taste even richer. Yum! It came with a tasty dipping sauce, but the sauce didn't really go with the dish and they could probably leave it off. But that sauce was a perfect complement for the alcapurria (and it had its own container). Alcapurrias are a fritter often made with green bananas and taro root and stuffed with meat. This one was made with a plantain base. It was nice and crisp on the outside and quite tasty with the sauce. It was fresh from the fryer so it was extremely hot, and would remain that way for quite some time--it would travel well. The entrees are priced from $13.50-$23, not unusual for a food truck but a bit more than many in this food truck park. But you can get a perfectly reasonable lunch from the small item menu, which has empanadas as well as the alcapurrias, and not spend more than $10. Service was very friendly and helpful. A great way to experience Puerto Rican food, which we have not had in this neighborhood."
"I'm usually picky about food and trying new places but this spot hits the ball out of the park, I tried their loaded waffle fries that is topped with cheese, greatly seasoned, and chicken tenders pieces, and probably more that I didn't notice because I was just in a hurry to eat it! The first bite automatically had me sold. I recommend this place to everyone near, far, and beyond."
"I drove 45 minutes, walked 19 minutes then drove another 12 minutes and paid $20 for parking just to get a burger. It was worth it. Their customer service is AMAZING. I had trouble finding the food truck, and they provided directions and talked me through everything. How incredible! Forever a Foreign Policy fan."
"Update from 4 to 5 stars:Customer service is still great. In my original post, I said the flavor of the meat was bland, but we've stopped by recently a few times and it's been on point! Still a great price and now the flavor is there!! I also like their horchata and pina when they have it.Just as a warning- I believe they make their own salsa, and the heat varies greatly! I like some hotness but not too much, and this last time I was unprepared for how hot it was!! Still delicious, but put a little on first to see if you can handle it lol!"
"Ate lunch here with my two sisters and son for their grand opening! Everything was so good! I got the lobster roll delicious and buttery and cooked PERFECTLY! I got my son a grilled cheese and fries, which he loved and ate almost all of it. My sister got mango habanero shrimp tacos (homemade mango habanero sauce!! So good, I'd buy a jar of it if I could!!) amazing! Not to mention the fries are SO crispy and seasoned great! And then shrimp Caesar salad was awesome!!!! Everything was fresh, service was fast, and the owners were so friendly!!! Nice, quiet, and beautiful area to have lunch at! We will definitely be back!"
"The map shows this place by iHeart Boba & Lotus Seafood, but it's right at the corner of Veteran's Memorial & Fallbrook. In the same shopping strip as Church's Chicken & Shell gas station. This taco truck is very, very, VERY good! LOL You name it, they've got it - tacos, tortas, gorditas, burgers, quesadillas, etc. The meat options are very good & they've got killer salsa. And that's both the red & green options! If I had to pick I'd say the chorizo & egg tacos, barbacoa, pastor & fajita are my fave meat options, but all have been good. Their prices are better than many close by & you absolutely get your money worth. I can never finish their torta in one sitting. It's big & the bun is grilled oh so buttery fresh. Don't know if they actually use butter to toast the bread, but it reminds you of that perfectly toasted bun from an old school burger joint. Not greasy, but toasted to have that slight crunch at the 1st bite.Always friendly & quick service. The truck is clean & I've noticed these guys keep the inside in good order as well. As a heads up, they're cash only. Give them a try if you're in the area."
"I was warned by my partner that the service would be... uhh.. intense? And it was true. I went with her and her mom (it's their favorite spot) and it sort of felt like her mom and the waitress were grumpily interacting and neither wanted to be there. Anyways, luckily the food is pretty good. I really like my egusi and according to my partner and her mom their erikaikon stew (which seems hard to find) is also very good. The best moment was when i approached the counter to look for the bathroom and was stopped in my tracks by a nearly shouted "what do you want" before i sheepishly said "bathroom" and they said "near the door." fun stuff!"
"Not a bad food truck at all, especially when it's parked in the parking lot of a brewery that doesn't serve food, with lots of inebriated patrons ready to make bad, unhealthy food choices! They kind of had a captive audience here, which was VERY smart on their part. Not gonna hate!We did enjoy the food for the most part though! We ordered the Grilled Cheese Pulled Pork Sandwich, yes, you heard me right, pulled pork with BBQ sauce inside of a grilled cheese sandwich!! Lots of flavors going on here: the pork was very tender and had a good flavor, the grilled cheese was well done also. But I wish they wouldn't drizzle BBQ sauce ALL over the entire sandwich. While it looked very pretty, it made an already messy sandwich, even messier!! You are guaranteed to need a bath, simply from the amount of BBQ sauce stuck to your fingers, gained from the simple task of putting food to mouth. We also ordered the Marconi and Cheese. I did enjoy this as it had a very unique flavor. Typically macaroni and cheese can be so generic, but not here. You get a pretty good serving of Rotini Noodles, covered in a thin cheese sauce and then topped with green onion and a sprinkle of Tony Chachere's. I liked the unique flavor, but I did think it needed a little bit more cheese flavoring and maybe a little thicker sauce. Not too bad though! Then, here is where I fell into "carb"-loading, comfort-food heaven, when I tasted those Loaded Fries with pulled pork BBQ on top! These are a must! If you are going to make bad food decisions for the day, might as well go all out and order these fries that are topped with a liquid cheese, pulled pork and drizzled bbq sauce. You will need a fork for these....and a bib....and a bath....and then a bed to pass out in....Follow me on my way to foodietown! http://britneygfoodie.yelp.com"
"Had a bbq plate while at Rosehill Beer Garden. It hit the spot. The brisket was super tender, sausage had the right amount of heat, and the potato salad was refreshing with a hint of sweetness. My husband and I got the two meat option and it was just enough for us both. Pricing was great and the staff friendly. BBQ sauce tasted vinegar based with heat at the end. If I were to come across this good truck again I'd definitely eat here."
"This spot offers a solid haleem bowl that is flavorful and comes with an excellent portion size given the very reasonable $8 price tag. They have gathered some hype since the food truck opened up on Highway 6 & Voss, and to give credit where it's due, the haleem they serve certainly carries substance to back up the hype. They load up your bowl with lots of warm haleem and top it off fully loaded with jalapeños, cilantro, lemon, and fried onion crisps. You can customize your toppings too and at the end of the day, it's hard not to appreciate the value you're getting out of the purchase. Their customer service is good too and if they add some naan/bread options to their menu, that will complete the experience in totality."
"KATY, TX / FRIED CHICKEN / 03-28-23 / TAKEOUT DINNER+The chicken tenders were cooked well, nice and juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside except for the bottom, because of the condensation build-up.+The 'hot' spicy level had a nice kick to it.+The two guys working the food truck were friendly.-The french fries were meh. We should've walked across the street and ordered In-N-Out fries.-The fries and tenders got really soggy on the 8-minute ride home, which means their packaging method could use some improvement."
"The food quality and flavor is unmatched! Generous portions and great prices - A definite MUST TRY!!!!"
"It's rare when I find a good pambazo and love the fact how close it is from my area. It's a bit pricey but worth it. The horchata is perfect also you get some chips and salsa while waiting"
"Delicious! As a vegetarian, I always appreciate when a business does their best to accommodate my dietary restrictions. The quesadilla was pick-your-own protein and I noticed they had breakfast tacos so I asked if I could choose eggs as my protein. They said yes and the quesadilla came out perfect. Get the potatoes! Speaking of, they said empanadas were the special so I asked if they could make mine with potatoes instead of meat. "Of course," they said. And they packed them to go with all the toppings on the side so I could warm them up later. I really appreciated how nice they were about me ordering off the menu. Catch them at Houston Social Beer Garden HTX on Friday and Saturday nights."
"very cute small business! Tortillas are hand maid right in front of you. great customer service and friendly staff. Cheap tacos with good quality ingredients. Salsas are fresh and spicy. Easy access off the highway. The potato egg and cheese and the steak and egg tacos were great."
"We finally tried this place after constant advertisements and hype on Instagram.Oh boy was they good and well portioned!Crazy part is they did not have different Crab options. The only confusing thing about this place is they only have one stall per gender and a pretty small space which is unexpected based on how they say how busy it get on social media. The service was great the same person that took our order is the same one that delivered our food. The food taste great and got better the longer it sat I had food left over."
"Amongst the world of hot dogs, it is hard to find a really good hot dog in the Houston area. Craving a hot dog, I turned to Yelp and searched the entire Houston area. Sloppy Dogg popped up as a place that I had not visited before.I ordered a few hot dogs and some fries. I cared more about sampling than finishing everything. The BBQ dog was my favorite!! It had a Sunday afternoon BBQ taste to it that was very unique. Much of the flavor was derived from the sausage and the bbq sauce. The chili dog was good, but was not even close to being my favorite. The trailer itself is located in an easy to reach parking lot. The staff is friendly, but they definitely have their favorites. The delivered the food and checked on another party that was seated there. For me, they rang my pager to come pick up the food myself even though I was the very next table over - and no one else was in line."
"Tried this truck on an impulse today when we were stalking another truck at My food Park HTX. Best chicken schwarma, EVER. My hubby is uber fussy about Mediterranean food, but he absolutely loved this.As a few of the other reviewers have said, the bread isn't traditional pita, it's a Lebanese flat bread - it is akin to the roti cani pancakes from Malaysia, just a bit thicker. The contents were heavenly, and plentiful. Lots of good quality, excellently cooked ingredients. We really did love it!My side was their cucumber tzatziki dip which rocked my world and those home made pita chips? Nom.I'm drooling writing this review. Seriously good food and very reasonably priced!"
