"Good food, service, price and decor. Bathroom was clean. Price better than most equivalent restaurants. Not good for large groups. We had to sit in multiple booths. One shortcoming. They put these stunningly delicious and addictive type of a croissant on the table. If you don't use a great deal of restraint, you will become too full to eat your meal."
"We ordered to go some tamales and wipe.By the time we got back to the office and realized the sope which was described on their website as blue corn tortilla was not as it got described. And it's quite small for $5.50The tamales now are 1/2 of the size which was used to be and prices got increase. The food was not as good as it used to be. I don't think I would be back anymore"

"Thus was my second time here in a year and the food always hits! Can't go wrong with what you order. The ambiance is always a vibe with the music and decor. They do have hookah which is through a third party but they be trying to rip you off. They gave us two little vocals on a fresh hookah and by the time they came around with new vocals our hookah was out smh. Service is truly good. I will keep coming back."
"Island Sizzle is a small stand alone building on an island. You will see what I am talking about if you visit! There is no dine in. I ordered the Ox tail and Jerk Chicken from the window from a gentleman. The food came out fast! The oxtails were $13.99 Wow! What a deal! It came with 2 pieces of oxtails, 2 plantains, cabbage and rice and beans. The oxtails were wonderful! Good flavor. Tender. What it should be! The rice and beans were cooked well. No complaints there. Cabbage was good. The Jerk chicken $12.95 (dinner) was pretty dry but still edible. If you're looking for a quick, fair priced meal that will get you full try Island sizzle!"
"How many different ways can I eat boudin...? Today, 3! HUGE boudin egg rolls, Boudin Burger with crawfish potato salad, and their newest item not even on the menu yet... Stuffed Boudin Wings all washed down with brown sugar lemonade and finished with some homemade bread pudding. We even got gumbo to-go for dinner. Y'all... run here fast! Owner was super nice and said they are opening a BBQ Smokehouse next door. Can't wait!"
"Review # 38.Located in the tunnels right under the Kinder-Morgan building. There are stairs right when you walk in the building and it's located right there. Only open for lunch. We arrived at 11:30 and the line was out the door. I was worried it was going to take forever but the line moved quick and we were served very fast being the amount of people there. We were out by 12:10. This is second time eating at District 7, but first time at this location. Just like the the other location the food did no disappoint!!! I ordered the pesto shrimp salad and it was delicious and filling. My friend ordered the burger and he raved about it!! Success!!! I can't imagine what the line is like at noon. Maybe there is another review about it. My friend who works downtown who came with me just loved it and he said he will be back!"
"While driving by recently on a Sunday evening (11111 N Houston Rosslyn Rd), I noticed the Crush City Treats sign. Curiosity made me come back. I was surprised to find out that this small business had been open since July 4th. The menu of Crust City Treats has more than just ice cream, but I was only there for the ice cream. One thing that I noticed was that in comparison to some of the ice cream franchises in the area, the prices are lower, however Crust City Treats does not have as many ice cream flavors to choose from. Despite this, I am looking forward to returning for a banana split. Rewards program available with a punch card."
"Ate here before the Taylor Swift concert on Sunday and had a feast. Small parking lot but we were able to easily get a spot. It's a fun vibe inside with animal friendly artwork and nice plants as decor. We went during their brunch hours but I was happy to find we didn't have to order brunch. You order at the counter, they give you a number and bring your food out to you. The service was good. All of the employees were kind and helpful. My friend and I shared the lasagna, buffalo wings with fries, asada tacos, Mac n cheese and fried okra. Everything was delicious. My friend's fave was the tacos. I'm not really sure which of the plates was my fave. They were all pretty good to me. At the end of our meal, I also got a scoop of their soft serve ice cream and added chocolate and strawberry syrup and cookie crumbles to it. It was a nice way to end the meal. It was 25 cents to add each syrup, 75 to add the cookie crumbles. The only thing that was a little weird was the inconsistency of the silverware. My friend got a fork and knife in her silverware roll. I only got a fork and had to go to the counter to ask for a knife as well. They had to look through a few rolls of silverware to get me one with a knife so the silverware seemed to be a little disorganized. However, the young man at the register quickly got me what I needed. I also have to add, it was freezing in there for about the first 20 minutes that I was there, and it seemed like you were under an air vent pretty much anywhere you sat. Luckily they turned the air off for much of my visit but I did notice they cut it back on shortly before I left and as I was eating my ice cream so I was an icicle when I walked out of there. This would be a great place to escape the htown summer heat though. Overall great food, service and ambiance. I look forward to returning."
"Northside's Best Breakfast Secret! Came in Saturday around 12, and food was freshly delivered. Traditional Breakfast is served all day. Thick cut bacon ! Added Nashville Hot Chicken to the menu Menu has a variety of entrees and they did not disappoint. Pros: Chicken wings - fresh and seasoned French Toast- light and powderedEggs Thick cut Bacon Service from Wendy was great Real Pink LemonadeClean restrooms Cons:None (Building may look a little rusty, but it's all good)"
"Fun fusion joint that combines Texan and Asian influences. The pork belly fried rice was tasty with tender and fatty pork belly. The brisket egg rolls were good as well although I wished the brisket was juicier. Great flavors overall.Love the vibe here. The space is pretty big with just enough decoration to entertain the eye. They were also playing killer Southern jams (e.g. Tammy Wynette). Friendly service.Clean bathrooms. Ample parking."
"Excellent! I had the jerk chicken and it was amazing, I highly recommend. If you are looking for authentic Jamaican food, you should try this truck."
"I have been wanting to go to this place for a long time and when I finally went I was kind of disappointed. The tacos and rice were okay but the beans were burned. How could you not know the beans were burned, they have a bad smell to them when they are burned. I didn't know until I got home and had to start working other wise I would of turned back around. Maybe I will give them a chance at a later time. Twelve dollars on a plate and I just ate the tacos and some of the the rice since the rice had a light smell of the burned beans. Very disappointed."

Food was fresh and delicious. They forgot my gravy and raspberry jam I called up there and manager made it right. I can't say anything bad.

This gem of a Mexican restaurant is tucked away right off of 610 on the first block of south post oak. Inside is small but still has plenty of seating. There are TVs for entertainment while you eat. All the food ordered looked and tasted delicious. Hands down Huevos Divorciados are my favorite. I would add a strip of bacon or fajita if possible next time. The tamales are definitely delicious but the masa broke up easily. They could use some crema and extra salsa. The agua frescas were very delicious and refreshing. I didn't get to try a dessert but will definitely get some next time. Everyone inside is very friendly and the food came about almost as quick as we sat down! Y'all should check this place out soon or there Burgs & Margs down the street.

Coming from Charleston, SC, a huge culinary city, I highly recommend this place. Everything was delicious but the customer service was superb. The manager made an effort to engage with every single table. The waitress Jasmine was so accommodating and helpful. I would definitely go back!

Having in laws from the West Indies and being a former Floridian I miss this food like crazy! My daughter and husband's oxtail was cooked and seasoned perfect as was my curry goat. The beef patties were delicious and had just a faint hint of heat. We will be back weekly lol.

The STAFF here are amazing!!! So kind, and very helpful! They offered a sample of their gumbo which is SO GOOD. I had to get a hot piping bowl of it. The stuffed wings filled with boudin is so flavourful! I will be back for sure

It seemed like they discontinued my fav dish "sautéed mussels" please bring it back!I ordered the paella (new dish) and it was not good at all! It was cheesy and bland except for the seafood. However the venison sausage linguine was good:)

I took my daughter for Sunday brunch after church. The food was fabulous. There was many vegan options to chose from. We loved being able to sit and eat in the enclosed patio, their was a d j who came and played music. The service was outstanding and they anticipated all our needs. The restaurant his located in a central location, though the parking is tight. I will be returning. I almost forgot there was a great layout for selfies.

"WELL DONE. Service is top notch. Everyone is very attentive which is much appreciated. The ambiance is cool - feel good - chill. We stopped in on a Sunday early afternoon for breakfast & lunch. I ordered the southwest bbq chicken and my partner ordered the strawberry cheesecake waffle with wings. My plate was excellent. I loved the wild rice and was pleased with how buttery it was. We also tried the deviled egg sliders. That was a nice surprise! They have a great happy hour which I will definitely be back for. Lovely addition to this area."
"Got the swamp baked potato. It was like an etouffee, had sausage, chicken, shrimp, and crawfish. Portion was huge and it was very hearty. It was quite salty though and wish there was more flavor in it."
"The chargrilled oysters are excellent. The crawfish lack flavor. The fried shrimp are plump and sweet. The drinks are good. Overall, a nice place to have some drinks and Cajun/creole eats."
"Love this place so much and was so sad to find out that the beloved Black Labrador I frequented during college had closed, after 33 years ;(Driving down aimlessly on Montrose Blvd, I was heading toward Allen Parkway and remembered, BARNABYS Cafe on Fairview. The Original. Was super happy and surprised with all the locations now opened: The Heights, River Oaks, Museum, Midtown, Woodway - jeez, they keep on going! Was pretty hangry for a salad, as my body was craving roughage. And the super nice waiter gave me the rundown on the ingredients on the 8 delicious salads on the menu where I picked the Chinese Chicken Salad $16, there is a smaller salad size available for $2 less, however, you want to order the large one. When it arrived at the table, people gawked as it was so ginormous...and delicious filled with thin sliced chicken, carrots, cilantro, crunchy cabbage, wonton crisps, and topped with a super thick peanut sauce. I tried my best to eat my way through it, however, I was beat by this salad! Taking it home, I enjoyed TWO more meals as the nice waiter was kind enough to provide me with extra peanut dressing. Great food, great service, great location with small private parking lot. Inside tables have plastic see through partitions for extra safety.Thank you! I look forward to coming back and eating my way through this menu, too!"
"Recently tried TF after an event in The Woodlands and am not disappointed! Easy to find in the middle of Market Street - not too off the beaten path. A great little spot for healthier choices - including some vegan options! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal - although I think my boys would have preferred a bit more of a selection of meals for kids (the ONLY reason for the lack of fifth star). The hummus was to die for, the strawberry cake was delectable, and I had a green drink that was delicious! Service was a bit slow and the seating was quite packed, but overall a pretty good experience for a Saturday evening nonetheless! Our waiter was top-notch and super courteous. Definitely recommend!"
"Ambiance on a Sunday Afternoon is very slow and chill. The music is very hipster. We sat at the bar which smelled very sanitized. I can say the food is made to order fresh.. however most of the menu items were unavailable or sold out. The Bryant was helpful in helping us decide what to order. My party of 2 enjoyed NON GRILLED CHEESE ITEMS, ie the Twisted Burger and Deluxe Grilled Chicken Sandwich"
"I've worked nearby for about 10 years and have never visited since it seemed like a tourist restaurant. After hearing about a coworker visiting recently and reading about the amazing CFS from the news again, I decided to try it out. There's plenty of parking in the front and back. The exterior looks a little dated, but the inside is pretty cute from what I could see. It's pretty dimly lit inside with an interior that reminds me of Luby's x Saltgrass x Denny's x Japanese coffee shop. The waitresses wear a dark uniform. There's a counter in the front like other diners, but it seemed to be a place where the staff congregate usually as everyone sat at the booths or tables. The dining population is on the older side with a mix of business, friends and family gatherings. There were large historical photos about the restaurant on the walls. Glass panels separating booths depict Houston/ Texas motifs like the oil derrick and state outline. The furniture is well-used but not torn. There's (2) individual toilet rooms. The female room is lockable with a stall that also locks and a sink. I was surprised to receive crackers, instead of bread, with the butter-like spreads. The chicken fried steak was pretty good and arrived as (2) small patties. I liked how it was crispy and tasted like my grade school versions. The mashed potatoes were smooth with a little bit of skin. The warm green beans were cooked in a mix of oil, water, and black pepper, which was different to me. The coconut meringue pie was sweet, creamy, and cold. I was disappointed that the dish comes with a toasty slice of white bread instead of a dinner roll and that the white gravy didn't have a strong black pepper flavor. My waitress was pretty nice in offering recommendations of what she liked and what customers liked and offered to replace my green beans if I didn't like them."
"A hidden gem in Katy! We had a great first experience at brunch at Harvest. To start, this restaurant is tucked away in a shopping center on Mason Road, but the ambiance inside is warm and inviting. It felt like every inch of the room had been carefully decorated. My husband and I both ordered the harvest breakfast, which comes with 4 items and is served with buttered toast. I chose the waffle, bacon, fried chicken, and sliced avocado & tomato. Everything was delicious, with the waffle probably being my favorite part. For the fried chicken, we both chose the hot option, and we thought the spice level was pretty mild while it was very well seasoned. For our drinks, we both ordered the lavender latte and really enjoyed the flavor. My dad ordered the sourdough pancakes, and they were great as well. While I'm usually all about the taste, I would add that the presentation here was really well done, and the purple flowers tied it all together. Our only complaint was that our lattes took a long time - they were brought out after our food, after we asked a few times. While I usually like to sip coffee prior to eating, the employees here were very nice throughout our meal, and when we did get the lattes they were very good.If you haven't tried Harvest yet, I would highly recommend it for your next breakfast or brunch in Katy!"
"Ashley F was our server and she was super friendly, courteous, and a great server. She promptly greeted us with hit and fresh honey buttered croissants. So yummy. She took our drink orders and was attentive in refilling our drinks. Ordered the fish and chips, others ordered the chicken pot pie, triple sampler, a d soup. All tasted great! Enjoyed everything and Ashley's sweet service!"
"Good food and great service. Clean bathrooms and plenty of parking. Lots of food options and drinks to choose from. Ambiance was fun and music was not loud at all."
"So I found myself looking for a decent meal after yet another day/evening of merchandising work out in Lake Jackson. I stumbled upon this place while browsing the available options and curiosity got the better of me.There was a relatively sparse crowd for a Saturday night, yet I didn't get even get the slightest of weird looks for walking in as a solo diner. Now at this establishment, the pairing of vegetables to the dish is fixed and substitutions aren't allowed. I decided to try the chicken fried steak, which happens to be paired with mashed potatoes and green beans, despite the fact I'm not a huge green beans fan.The chicken fried steak was excellent. The mashed potatoes are superb as well. The green beans are absolutely amazing, perhaps the best to be found in the greater Houston area.Despite the prices running a bit higher than I had originally planned to spend on dinner this trip, I think I have found a new favorite restaurant when I'm in Lake Jackson and I hope to be back soon."
"I have been going to this Boston Market off and on for years, but after today's experience, I have no plans to return. After we placed our order and waited, we were told it would take 15 minutes for creamed spinach and we could park, wait, and they would bring it out. We chose to do this without issue because we like the creamed spinach. After 20 minutes, I chose to go in and check. They had my food sitting on the counter, unattended. They left out part of my order, in which I needed to wait for them to fix. Now...it's nearly 30 minutes all together. We were given a piece of rotisserie chicken, an extra cornbread muffins; and a pie for our long wait and they apologized. I can appreciate them trying to compensate us, however I told her we didn't eat bread. We were so hungry, we open the food in the parking lot. The Nashville Hot Crispy chicken definitely wasn't what I expected. It was the regular rotisserie chicken, smothered with hot sauce, and nocrisp! The veggies were cold and the spinach was tasteless. Don't plan to return."
"It is time for a larger building. This place is crowded, again. As a matter of fact, every time I come it is crowded. I witnessed 6 customer turn away, because of the long line. The first young lady, server you encounter needs a lot of customer service training...So I noticed on the last few trips in, the side portions are smaller. I typically order oxtails, but today they did not taste their best and way too much fat left on the meat."
"Nothing super exceptional for me. Service was very friendly at the hostess stand. We ordered some takeout and the food was very average. Chicken fried steak was very dry. Maybe it was just an off night? They use to have a delicious Cuban sandwich in the menu so we were disappointed when it was no longer offered."
"Very nice owner and excellent staff. They did have some trouble getting our check correct, but we got there. Menu looked nice, but we found that the dishes needed a bit more seasoning. Great location in Lake Conroe."
"We had the mackerel and pork belly cooked in clay pot. Rice served on the side. I preferred the mackerel. The black rice with yogurt was delicious, but small cup and I wanted more since it was so good ($4.50). For desserts, they also have flan and sweet tofu. Good service. Menu in English and Vietnamese. Staff may not know English."
"I have left a previous review but wanted to add another. I was in the area with a coworker and decided to take him to Hedgehog. Once again I was not disappointed. I ordered chips and queso. The sweet waitress told me they were out of chips and I asked if we could have fries instead. I recommend this! The fries had a great seasoning that went very well with the queso. I ordered the Bacon and cheese burger () and asked if I could have mashed potatoes with cream gravy as my side. No problem. They're customer service and delicious burgers will make me a repeat customer again."
"Very good hot dog. Great take on a Chicago dog, but missed the poppyseed bun. As a first timer I recommend looking at place settings on front of you. Order sheets are there for you to fill out. Not sure I liked this..but it worked and we still made it on time for trivia at B52."
"I've had my fair share of Hawaiian bbq over the years and when my coworkers suggested Aloha Hawaiian BBQ Factory for lunch one day, I was all for it! I opted for the Hawaiian BBQ mix plate and boy was it a lot of food! Rice, Mac salad, BBQ chicken, beef and short ribs! The usual when it comes to a lunch plate! Sauce came on the side in case you needed to add some. I thought the sauce was a bit salty and there way too much soy sauce. Hawaiian bbq is sweet and salty, but the meat was missing the char flavor. I also didn't like that the sauce had to be poured over the top and not already marinated into the meats. Mac salad was alright. Overall, it was definitely A-ok and very filling in terms of portion size!"
"Camping at Bastrop State Park and went into town for a Mardi Gras festival. Ate lunch here. Very popular and so very crowded. Our waitress was very good but very busy. They have inside and outdoor seating. Wooden walls mixed with corrugated tin to give a country rustic atmosphere. It is a nice atmosphere and we had a really nice lunch. The modified the hamburger steak for me and removed the gravy and added cheese and grilled onions, instant smash burger.I would recommend them and definitely eat here again!"
"First time visit at this restaurant.. an eye catching buy one get one free special!!... The Chicken Fried Steak was huge, thick and flavorful... The battered crust was thick and tasty... The black eyed peas were great with the dinner roll. The squash casserole was spot on.. and the fried okra and broccoli casserole were great as well. As for me, the food was good and worth a visit if hungry for a little comfort food... I'm going into a food coma.. Just my opinion.."
