"Cutest wine bar in the Montrose collective area! Perfect spot to catch with up with girls. They have a huge wine selection and a small food menu as well. Loved the atmosphere, especially with all the Christmas decorations up. Will definitely be coming back!"
"Very nice place and still not very well known, so it doesn't get too busy. The interior is nice, they have two separate seating areas inside, each with a bar. They also have a conference room, which I assume you could rent. They offer wine by the bottle or glass in addition to tastings (6 for $15). Overall, their prices are on par with upscale wine bars, but it a more relaxed atmosphere and without the crowd."

It was fantastic. Everyone was so cool and non judgmental. I am from NY and have never experienced such a positive vibe at a "nightclub". I have been to regular night clubs all over the US and this is hands down the best experience I had. Sure it was my first..but it is like they say you never forget your first."
"Loved Citizens of Montrose! My hubby and I enjoyed our brunch here. We got their Barbie Bowl, blueberry pancakes, and their salmon avocado toast. For drinks we got their turmeric latte and dragon fruit mimosa. Everything we ordered was very fresh-tasting and so colorful! Our faves were their pancakes and Barbie Bowl. The pancakes were the fluffiest ever and the Barbie Bowl was very refreshing and not overly sweet. Service was very attentive and friendly. The interior lets in a lot of natural lighting. There's a small shared parking lot to the side. Will definitely return to try their espresso martini happy hour!"
"Another "Insta-worthy" photo-op? Meh. I think they overdid the decor, especially on the outside. Makes me not want to take the restaurant that seriously. I understand the trend, especially with how well Little Hen does... but I left without craving to come back. Service is fine, food is fine, wine is fine... I hate to say it's just wasn't memorable. You know what I do remember? How empty it felt inside. We came as a large group of women for a "girls night out" and even though we did enjoy our dinner and the nice, large booth we sat in, I don't see myself coming back. Sorry not sorry."
"Cool, little place with a cool vibe and nice bartender that doesn't keep you waiting. Inside is small, but there's plenty of room outside. They also have fires around for when it's cold outside. Maybe not the best place in the middle of summer, but when it's not blazing hot outside, it's a great place to go and have a few cold ones."
"Now called ELITE LOUNGE, but even when the establishment was called Nomi's it was the spot to be. The crowd is now a sexy adult age (30+) with a real chill atmosphere. Most people here just want a good drink and a good meal after work. There's usually a food truck or chef outside the bar cooking. There's a guy who sell cigars and other baked goods. This is a great place to stop and drink, maybe do a couple of line dances (decent size dance floor), and dinner! Follow them on Instagram. They Karoake Night, Taco Tuesdays, etc."
"Came here during a trip to Chappell Hill. We sat on the patio and opted for the fried chicken tenders, which was a huge portion (4) and super tasty. We then ordered the Italian sliders and a chicken salad sandwich, but it took over 30 min to arrive to the table. We were told that they had to make the chicken salad from scratch, but we had arrived very off peak around 3pm, so it was quite a long wait. Otherwise, the ambiance was quaint and charming, and the servers were nice."
"I came to work out of the Coffee House just to switch up my work setting. I got here at 10am on a Monday and there were a few parking spots available but they do have parking and a decent amount of it. The cafe is three floors, along with a rooftop so there's plenty of space for everyone. I primarily worked out of the 3rd floor but only stayed a few hours because it was FREEZING up there! I even asked if they could turn the air off or the heat up but neither of those things happened. I will say the first and second floor were not as cold. The staff were great and the butter croissant I had was delicious. My only suggestion would be to close down for a day or two and conduct a very deep cleaning of the cafe. It wasn't dirty in the least bit but just a bit dusty. A deep clean would certainly help."
"How can you not love this food! I just wish I am not offered so many choices in front of me. I love their Adana kabob, babaganoush, all the other spreads. I just wish I was not on my zero carb diet."
"One of my favorite places to come for happy hour because at the time of this review, they offer it daily from 3-6 pm. The bartenders and staff are super friendly. I really enjoy ordering the spicy pineapple margarita. The rosé on the happy hour menu is pretty nice as well. The food is consistently delicious. I really like the green chile shrimp ceviche. The hummus is phenomenal and their pizzas are pretty great too."
"Really enjoy coming to this place. The food here is really tasty and fresh. Belinda is such a wonderful hostess and friendly person. I've had several items on the menu which all tastes good to me, but my go-to item is the pulled pork sandwich. Juicy and flavorful. Side items including beans, yams, and cobbler also tasty! Definitely will return. Parking lot is huge and shared with the shopping strip."

Beautiful cute wine bar for a brunch or afternoon happy hour. Wish there's more snack bites selections. Happy to see 3oz options for a variety of wine tastings.

Quick service. Extremely knowledgeable staff. Good wines. Very clean. Slightly overpriced for tastings but not bad for a small, private, winery.

First time here since it was renamed Sampede. Came out to celebrate a birthday and the place accommodated 10 of us. There was never a dull moment and kids didn't get board. There is also a mechanical bull. Enterance for ladies that night was free before 11pm or free if you wore Astros gear. Ages 18 and up welcomed. There is a food tent as well and cards are accepted. The layout was pretty cool, clean and kept kids entertained. All generes were played but mostly country. It was a fun night.

The food is amazing. Environment during weekend brunch time is crowded and loud (phone measured about 95 dB), but if you are ok with that, give this place a try!Order wisely. The burger, banana bread French toast, and pulled pork Benedict were amazing, but the avocado toast was boring. The person in our group who ordered regretted it.Service could have been better. It wasn't bad, but often times we were left searching for our waiter for water, drink orders, and bill. At one point, a waitress from another area ended up helping us.Parking lot was jammed packed. There were cars going in and leaving because no vacancy. I also heard an argument shouting in the lot because of parking space.Bathroom wasn't kept to the same high standard as the rest of the restaurant. Could have used a little bit of cleaning and paper towel refill.Overall I recommend because of the food. Make a reservation.

I'd categorize it as the latest Little Hen but not very busy. Very pink and girly but a confusing concept imo. Since only one man was in the restaurant I'd expect a menu to be lighter with more fun salads and delicate bites. I didn't see anything on the menu that I'd crave or come back for. The drinks were good but service was slow and underwhelming. It's an enormous place so it will take a lot for it to look busy. The decor is fun and whimsical so definitely stop in once for drinks, pics and maybe an appetizer in the bar area.

Parking is hit or Missa as, it's located. in middle of what has become a centre of resturants and bars . My favourite thing here is the monthly ? Markets . It is also I want ba tequila and dos XX. I give it 5 stars because, it is what it is a dive and it succeeds

Grown & Sexy vibe. It's like a black version of Cheers where everybody knows your name. Hole in the wall that is comfortable and inviting and plays old school R&B music. The crowd is 40+.The food on Monday Steak Night is amazing, Chef D has marinated Steaks, Salmon or Lamb Chops for $25. They are well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The sides are tasty as well. Chef D also does Wang Wednesday and the Lemon Pepper wings are poppin.

This place is a very low key, relaxing environment. Very family friendly. Our service has really and and she was very helpful with helping us pick our food and wine out. The artichoke dip was very good, could have been served hot instead or Luke warm. The bread on the side wasn't the best. Was very soggy. The pizzas where good also. Needed to be more crispy and not so skimpy on the toppings. Over all this place is a great place to relax with friends and family
Visit Restaurant Page"Finally! We have watched this space on Fairview transform from a house to restaurant over the span of a year. It was so exciting to see become a place become something we actually wanted to patronize. Their menu is so great and for everyone and their preferences. It took my husband and I a few minutes to decide what to order. So many different types of tacos, nachos, quesadillas, rice bowls, soups, and salads. They also a have bustling bar and two floors of seating with great views of downtown. We can't wait to return and try other items on the menu!"
"A lovely venue! Quite impressed with everything --Came here for a private event on a recent afternoon. Beautiful set up, lots of room, plenty of tasty food and wine. Staff was excellent: kind, helpful, gracious and extremely accommodating. Park in the surrounding shops area and walk to the center of this section of Vintage Park, since the entrance is accessible from a large promenade. I saw that outdoor seating was available, too, which would be great on a warm, breezy day.I had never been here before and I wasn't really sure what to expect when I arrived. Pleasantly surprised by many things. If you're looking to host a small private event (or to stop in for an appetizer and a glass of wine), this establishment should definitely be on your radar."
"We were a big group who were headed to see Christmas lights around Downtown. Live music was playing during brunch. It's too loud and you can't have a conversation. I wish they had more items on the breakfast menu. I approached the grocery store side but they weren't serving breakfast any more in the cafeteria-type setting. So I opted for an egg white spinach fritatta in the Mkt Bar. It's a big serving and I don't like to waste. But I could only eat half. So I recommend diners share the fritatta. The waiter brought Tabasco and Cholula sauces. I added a bit of cholula to give it more flavor. The egg dish doesn't have much flavor. While the ambiance is lively, I wouldn't go back since I can't have a conversation due to the loud live music played during brunch."
"I love this spot. They have the best wine flights. It's the perfect spot for having a drink with friends or for meeting a date. The staff is super friendly and give great wine recommendations. Hector is amazing ask for him. On Friday's they gave a $10 wine flight. Check them out!"
"Love the ambiance the food and the history. We love the chicken fried steak and schnitzel and catfish!!"
"Loved the Sunday brunch. Such a great view, food, and service. We will definitely be back."
"Much better experience this time. We went wielding a birthday free game as well as a free text game. Jean took care of us as soon as we walked in. Personable and funny, he was the perfect welcoming!Would also like to note that it was the first time the manager was out and speaking to customers. He was also great!"
"After or charity bowling tournament down the street, some friends recommended we come here for burgers and a drink. They serve up a solid bacon cheeseburger with average tots that are a bit too crispy, but for less than $10 pretty good deal. This place is that dark quiet neighborhood bar what are you just imagine regulars coming after work. The servers are friendly, and accommodating to requests. I forgot that there still places where you can smoke in a bar, and this is one of those places. If you're looking for a decent burger and good drink prices, check this place out."
"This is the most relaxing place. The wines are distinctly different and delicious. The atmosphere is totally Zen."
"We come here often and really enjoy the progress they've made! The trivia night is a blast! The decor is beautiful and romantic! The service is always super friendly and inviting! Highly recommend checking them out if you haven't already!"
"Solid food and great for big parties or patio season! I honestly wish there were more places like this at MKT - it's a perfect place to chill, eat, and drink especially when the weather is nice out. There are servers but you can also scan the QR code at your table to get your order started. We recently tried the chilaquiles and Highline burger (beyond meat) - both were very good and would get again. We will be back for more!"
"We were really surprised how much we liked this comfy but unassuming bar near Rice University on a recent late-night visit. We decided on the The Owl sort of by deduction, given that not much else in the area was open late on a weeknight. Expected a crowded, annoying college bar, we were pleased to find ice cold and refreshing white wine on tap for a great price and plenty of comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. The Owl is a nice option for laid-back drinks and conversation any time."
"I finally visited Raven Tower before the Young the Giant concert at WOMH yesterday. My friends suggested getting there early and eating dinner there at the food truck La Macro. I'm glad we did because the show was sold out and there were so many people in line two hours or so before the show started. I thought Raven would be crowded but it actually wasn't. They have a great craft beer selection as well as a cocktail menu. I was hoping to try one of the cucumber cocktails but it looks like they just changed their cocktail menu for the fall season. I opted for beer and had the 8th Wonder Intelluctuale (one of my faves). The patio is dog friendly. They have games and lots of picnic tables for plenty of seating. This is a great place to people watch. I had pork tacos from La Macro and they were really good. They have other menu items besides Tex-Mex. The menu is on the Raven Tower website. For a food truck, the prices are actually reasonable. They charge $2 for tacos. You could hear the opening band (Joywave). I didn't think we would be able to hear much because Raven sits behind the stage, but you could. They also had the music turned down so I think that helped. The tower is still being renovated, but it's apparently supposed to reopen this fall. I definitely want to check it out once it does open back up. Because of the concert, we weren't able to park in lot A between Raven and White Oak. Prices for lots were $15-25 which is pretty steep. Get there early for street parking on nights when there is a show out on the lawn."
"My friend and I came for brunch on Saturday. We had such a pleasant experience. The weather was a perfect spring day with a really nice fresh breeze! We ordered the island juice mimosas- suggested by Sabrina who we absolutely loved! For the food we ordered the Duck plate, Chicken & waffles, and a salad. Both were tasty!! We moved to a rosé which Sabrina ended bagging for us to take home. We also had a nice conversation with Zay. The entire staff here is awesome! I would recommend this place. Beautiful outdoor setting. It will be nice to catch the live music sometime!"
"They have plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. The back patio is on the green so can kinda get loud if kids are out there playing. We started outside then came in when kids were getting rowdy. We tried the flights and really enjoyed the malbecs they had. My friends and I shared a board and everything was delicious. It's a cute place on the inside, very quiet and quaint. Definitely will be back and they give great recommendations!"
"Shay was an amazing and attentive waitress. Ace says hi and thank you for my fruit and eggs! The catfish and grits were exceptional. Portion sizes were big. My husband got the shrimp and grits. The shrimp were big and juicy, just how we like them. We didn't get any pictures because we were too busy enjoying our food and drinks. The Bloody Mary was great as well as our mimosa and "dad"mosa for my husband. Restrooms were baby friendly with a beautiful changing table. #MomWin Restrooms were very clean also which is very important to us especially with an infant. For brunch, they have any dish comes with a mimosa, so that's pretty cool. We loves the cool lighting and space, music, and vibes. We will definitely come back."
"I visited The Decoy for a work event where we rented out a sand volleyball court Friday afternoon and hung out under the covered patio in between games. This is a day drinking review, since someone told me it gets a little clubby at night. (Definitely not the vibe for our visit) The bar interior has a few high tables, a few large booths, and then the bar top, as far as seating options are concerned. There are TV's hanging on the wall in every direction, so you won't miss the game. It's not terribly large inside, but there's also plenty of outdoor seating options in the front and back areas. Front outdoor area has hanging chairs and picnic tables, and the back outdoor area is similar to Kirby Icehouse where they turfed out a space and covered it with a large metal patio and have couches, picnic tables, and high tables you can snag to watch the TV's or the sand volleyball courts. Speaking of, there's I think 3, maybe 4, sand volleyball courts available to rent by the hour. They charged us $10/hr for the court, and $15/hr for the volleyball. FYI Someone mentioned that they have league play on certain nights for the serious Volleyball players out there. They do not serve food at all, but was told they're fine with you bringing in outside food. There's an Underbelly Burger restaurant next door, so you're covered if you absolutely need to eat. I drank beer so don't have much to add about the quality of mixed drinks and cocktails, but it's a sportsbar... Bring that level of expectation and you'll be fine."
"First time visiting here. We had a nice time celebrating my friend's BD!! We did only one play but they charged us $16.65 per person. Felt a bit expensive... somehow the bowling stage is extremely slippery so make sure be aware of it I got slipped a good couple times there was a bar inside so you can order some foods if you'd like. Overall, it's a nice place to have a fun time. Oh, they have arcades as well so if you wanna have some games you can do them as well.Come if you'd like!Cheers"
"The service was friendly and the latte was very good! The kids all enjoyed their hot chocolate. I'd love to check out their meeting rooms - it looks like that's what they have in the backyard. It's a cozy interior and I hope to enjoy some time here."
"I'm super city, so this isn't a place I'd normally go to, but it's down the street from my job and it was pretty cool. It's on a country road, sitting on a pretty large piece of property, and the bartenders are very friendly and attentive. Food and drinks aren't cheap, and they have entry fees on nights they have events or concerts. Wouldn't call it a neighborhood bar, but more like a bar/grill that can look like a club sometimes lol. Try it out, you'll see!"
"If you want to be treated like a VIP come here! From the moment I decided to book a few months ago I was treated like an extra special guest by Sara who answered my dozens of questions over several phone calls with patience and politeness. Since it was my birthday weekend I added on the 5 course chefs meal which was a bargain! Also did a wine tasting with it that was very very well done. As soon as you arrive you are greeted and shown around the property. Both John and Sara were there to answer any questions and give us a tour. My son and I had the entire main house to ourselves! Although originally I was supposed to go solo it was my son's birthday too and they were nice enough to accommodate him last minute. The place is amazing and everything you'd want in an old B&B plus a fantastic restaurant within walking distance! Service in the food barn was nothing to sneeze at either and we thoroughly enjoyed server Bradley's company and suggestions. Beware the food is rich as can be so pace yourself. I'm glad I ate early in the evening and at that still didn't go in for breakfast until noon. It's really a gorgeous rustic dining room! But don't let the remote country location fool you... it's quite the gourmet place. Everything was delicious and creative with gigantic portions. Luckily, there's a frig in the room for leftovers! There's plenty to do or you can do nothing which is also nice. Highly recommend for a relaxing romantic, solo or family getaway! Worth every penny and travel time to get here to enjoy this lovely property and amazing food! We even got to meet the owner who was super welcoming also. Will be back!"
