Teague’s Bar-B-Que

I was visiting my grandmother in Spring last weekend and wanted BBQ so we went to Teague's because it was right up the street. Upon our first steps into the restaurant the owner was very welcoming. The hospitality was remarkable and the touch of Mr. Teague's football career displayed on the wall was interesting. The food was very tasty and did not disappoint. The pineapple pudding was the first time I had ever heard of such a thing and it was so good. The best way to describe it was like banana pudding except with pineapples. They even gave us a free beer to enjoy while we waited for our food. When ever I visit the area I will be sure to stop by Teague's for my Texas BBQ fix.

This was some pretty decent bbq. The yams were the tastiest of this meal. Who ever made it made that all with love. The greens were okay. The cornbread was decent. The sausage was okay. I didn't care for the ribs. The ribs were tough. I hardly ever order ribs from anywhere because most times they're tough. I was disappointed because I asked if the meat was fall off the bone tender. Bbq sauce tasted decent. My sides were better than my bbq.Place was very clean and the staff was nice. I really wanted to love this place based on other reviews from a food group I'm in. The sides were the star of my dish and I wish it would've been the bbq.

Just moved to the area and wanted to check the place out. To all the people reading reviews, check out the newer ones as my experience is much more in line with them. I will say the place is spotlessly clean. First, the young lady at the front was very polite and helpful throughout the dinner. She was great with my daughter and was fine when she wanted to take a picture of her with her tablet. She was the highlight of the meal. She was even cordial when she realized they put the sauce on the meat when she knew I asked for it on the side. She took it back and seemed to get attitude from whoever messed up in the kitchen. She still came back with a smile on her face. I had the three meat plate: brisket, sausage and turkey with bake sand green beans with an added side of fried okra, and the cornbread. Brisket - very lean and no flavor / bark, sliced so thin I'm guessing it was done in an oven Sausage - good, but super finely ground so no texture or snap at allTurkey - bland, no smoke flavor at all again oven and tasted like it was reheated in a microwave Green and baked beans - both were excellentOkra - best food of the night, perfectly fried and tastyCornbread - had all the stuff to be good but was hard and reheated Sauce - pretty good, on the sweet side Overall I wouldn't go back though this place might just be better suited for catering as they seem to advertise that a LOT.

We recently ate here and thought food was meh at best. There was not one other table in place for lunch Thanksgiving weekend which always scares me. The real thing that was a turnoff was asked for some sauce and lady says that will be .81 cents. Is this McDonald's? We had party of four spending over $100 nobody in the place and don't know ever been to a bbq restaurant charging for sauce. I recently went to a bbq tasting in a parking lot that vendors weren't charging for sauce. Corkscrew was closed and selected this place but wouldn't return.

Really enjoy coming to this place. The food here is really tasty and fresh. Belinda is such a wonderful hostess and friendly person. I've had several items on the menu which all tastes good to me, but my go-to item is the pulled pork sandwich. Juicy and flavorful. Side items including beans, yams, and cobbler also tasty! Definitely will return. Parking lot is huge and shared with the shopping strip.

Just go to papas BBQ it's much better quality. the brisket was clearly cooked in the oven, no flavor, no bark and drowned in bbq sauce to mask the lack of flavor/bbq. I complained to staff members that the menu doesn't indicate bbq sauce on brisket baked potato on description. I explained that I didn't want sauce. I also purchased 2 terrible brisket sandwiches. i was told that I could not get a remake nor a refund, I was told the owner would call me and he did not 2 weeks later. My friends did not enjoy the food either. This is why I don't give small restaurants a chance, what a waste of $40.

Food was good had the 2 meat bbq plate and the pulled pork sandwich the ribs and chicken was good but the bbq baked beans were not at all I had the collard greens which was good also the cornbread was hard

Our Fathers Day celebration was catered by Teague's. I was so delicious! The meat was smoked to perfection! Juicy ,tender wanting more!

Excellentl food & SUPER clean ! Friendly, professional service! They even offer a delicious fish sandwich which is to die for! Highly recommend

Don't order the loaded baked potato on door dash that picture a potato with chopped brisket, a rib, and sausage as you will receive a plain baked potato.After receiving my order I contact Teagues to let them know and they said to take it up with DoorDash and that they haven't had a problem before. Clearly, they could improve on their customer service as well.
