Puttshack - Houston

Came in last Friday night for date night. We booked our time slots online so it was very easy and quick to get checked in. We headed to our putting area and the employee there walked us through how everything worked. It was really fun, you play for nine holes a game. You can rebook different courses while you're there. I'd say that the only downside is that if you're a half decent player the games go by pretty fast. We played two courses one before we ate and one afterwards. There's a lot of variety, so even if you play all the courses you won't be bored. The mini golf experience was definitely a 10/10. The food and drinks on the other hand were pretty mediocre. We both ordered the cali chicken sandwiches and they were okay but they had practically no flavor and they were a little dry. For drinks I ordered the tamarind margarita and it was definitely the better drink. My date ordered the mezcal margarita and although we both enjoy mezcal this drink was pretty gross. It just tasted like watered down mezcal, you couldn't taste any pineapple or anything else. Overall I'd stop by for the games for sure, it's a great date night spot, but I'd go somewhere else for food.

Much better experience this time. We went wielding a birthday free game as well as a free text game. Jean took care of us as soon as we walked in. Personable and funny, he was the perfect welcoming!Would also like to note that it was the first time the manager was out and speaking to customers. He was also great!

Had an epic night at Puttshack Houston! Although I've been, I never experienced the games. The mini golf courses are super fun and high-tech, making them even more exciting. Definitely a great idea for a friend group or date night. The whole place was a vibe, the DJ was spinning all of the best music and had the crowd vibing. The real MVP was John Michael behind the bar. His cocktail suggestions were on point; my guy knows good drinks, and the food was amazing. He was friendly, positive, and made my date and I feel right at home.Between the games and John Michael's stellar service, it was a perfect mix of fun and relaxation. If you're hitting up Puttshack, definitely ask for John Michael. We'll be back for sure! Cheers!

What an exhilarating adventure at PuttShake Houston! From the moment we stepped in, we were transported to a world of arcade-themed mini-golf delight. Although we didn't get to choose our course, the amber course proved to be a thrilling challenge that kept us on our toes.Now, let's talk about the food and cocktails - pure perfection! While the portions leaned towards appetizer-sized, the flavors packed a punch. The Thai Fried Chicken with its green curry and coconut infusion was a flavor explosion, while the Korean BBQ Bao Buns with pulled pork left us craving for more.And oh, the cocktails! To fuel our competitive spirits, my husband and I started with tequila shots, setting the tone for an epic mini-golf battle. I opted for the zesty Passion Fruit Lemonade with an added kick of tequila, while my husband indulged in the Ultimate Top Shelf Margarita - a true masterpiece.PuttShake Houston isn't just a place for a one-time visit - it's a destination to return to again and again. Whether you're a mini-golf enthusiast, a foodie, or a cocktail connoisseur, this place has something for everyone. We'll definitely be back for more fun-filled adventures! ‍

This was our first time going to a puttshack. Overall, it was a great experience! The food was delicious, it has a fun atmosphere and the putt putt golf was very colorful, challenging, and creative. For the food we got the pepperoni buzz flatbread and the Korean bbq bao buns. They were both very delicious! I would say it was better than a typical pepperoni pizza. The bread was crisp and there were chunks of marinara blended in the melted cheese, which the cheese was amazing as well. The bbq bao I had never had before anywhere else. This would be a highly recommended choice. The bbq was amazing and the toppings and sauce were paired perfectly. The bread was also different in the best way and very good.The presentation on all items was excellent! 5 stars! My only negative is the music. You are supposed to be 18+ after 2000 which might be why, but it was very sexually vulgar and explicit with profanity. Not my taste and would be a consideration if I revisited.

My husband and I really enjoyed the puttshack! We were able to get a round in before getting hungry and after we finished we were able to quickly get a table to sit down for food. We both ended up getting flatbreads and splitting an app and having some drinks. Everything was delicious and we had plenty left over to take home as leftovers as well. My only complaint is that the music is very loud so it's hard to have conversations unless you are very close to each other.

Came here for a group outing and had a really good time. First of all, they validate parking. The garage is connected to the PuttShack and is on Austin and McKinneyThere are various games to play, but we chose miniature golf. It costs $14 for 9 holes. Maybe took about 45 minutes to an hour to get through. Also, they have lots of TVs for watching sports. I didn't have any food, but it is kind of pricey. A couple of people in my group got the flatbread and they were kind of small. All in all, it was a cool hang. Not something I would do regularly, but it is good for bigger groups or corporate functions

Last night was our first time in the venue. We got a hotel due to not having any power, so we decided to check it out. Grabbed a seat at the bar, we did notice it was slightly busy but didn't mind waiting. Got greeted with a cocktail menu and was told I'll be right back. He had 4 drinks in his hand, we definitely knew he was the bartender to oder with. He came back quickly and asked for our drink order, we did have some questions. He promptly asked if it was our first time and then gave us the run down on food and drinks. He made a huge gesture by asking if we needed to charge our phones because we did mention that we didn't have any power. He probably doesn't know that he now has new regulars at the bar. Because of John-Michael's service, drinks, and that gesture he made, we are definitely coming back. Just a PSA, if you get him as your bartender, order the Hennessey Sidecar!!! It's like love at first sight.
