"I mean is good breakfast, good coffee, doesn't disappoint but it does not amaze me either, just another American dining spot, it's a good option, I was surprised of the good cocktail selection i had a couple and they were good.Harrys good spot 3 stars and that's all.++++++(GET THE COLADA MORADA tho, made my day)++++++"
"Good little spot. Dropped in here while looking for a quick meal in the area. Grabbed some street tacos with 2 Al Pastor & 3 Birria. Impressively good tacos. Both the Birria & Al Pastor was seasoned well and perfectly cooked. Cilantro was nice & fresh and the grilled onions added a nice edge to it.Weren't necessarily the best street tacos I've had but good enough to warrant a recommendation or return if in the area again. Good service here too. Came on a quiet Wednesday afternoon; food came out fast & waitress was nice. Also grabbed an Horchata. It was good but I've had better."

"The ambiance from the moment you step inside is tranquil, serene and quiet-- I just KNOW I'll finally be able to finish coding and develop my software skills even more by visiting more frequently and not having my annoying anxious avoidant neighbor trying to start a conversation every 5 minutes in the common space area of where I reside.I can finally sip my coffee in peace and get some work done at the same time. Latina owned business and I look forward to returning again! El cafe de olla tastes just as if I made it at home, fresh y con un toque de canela traen el pan dulce del "El Bolillo", the best spot to buy pan dulce in Houston in my humble and ferocious foodie opinion. Como Hispana, y mas que nada, Mexicana y Cubana, a good cup of coffee is hard to find up to my standards... but this spot passes the test. It reminded me so much of my usual favorites in Austin, TX. This is one spot you do NOT want to miss within the Houston city limits for good pan dulce y un cafecito for the road ."
"I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to post a review on Andes Cafe because I love the place! I should start by mentioning I'm allergic to corn so I have not been able to try all the dishes but when I do come by they are extremely helpful with modifications to my ceviche. I've actually had the majority of the main dishes/appetizers/sides on the menu! I really appreciate how small the menu is because I think that's what makes all the dishes so good. My favorites are fish ceviche, mixed ceviche, the churrasco, and the coconut shrimp. The restaurant is very small but cute and the staff is very friendly. I love that the menu has a diverse cuisine from different South American countries so you get to try a little of everything. I recommend a visit when you are at POST HTX"
"From start to finish, this place was excellent! We were that party that showed up 20 minutes to closing and they served us very well. The customer was incredible! The restaurant is beautiful and tastefully decorated and the food was on another level. Guyon (pronounced Gwyn) recommended dishes we went with and were very pleased with. Sea bass and the torrejas for dessert. We also had some empanadas and another dessert I can't recall but the outside was flaky, fresh and tasty with a mango chutney filling. We ended up here after a poor experience at another restaurant, and now I know where to visit every time I visit Houston. It's great food, great prices (compared to Miami) and excellent service. Can't wait to go back! Enjoy!"
"We were actually very pleasantly surprised by this place. We love tequila and mezcal and saw it was highly rated. We only got drinks but they were very good. We would return to try their other margaritas."

"Yummy food for the family! I adore coming here when aim in town. It takes the crown for carnitas and service. People know how to treat others here. Respect is key. They have everything you want and more."
"I guess it's time to update my review from 8 years ago and add another star.Pampa Grill is located on Hammerly near Gessner in a run down strip center. That center has some busy businesses in it so parking can be limited when you arrive with the only parking spots available out in front. When you walk in, you immediately see the different vibe from outside as it's a nice restaurant with interesting and attractive artwork on the walls. Also as you enter is a small wall of packaged food items from South America for sale. I guess that's the Market part of this restaurant.Pampas' is a casual table service eatery that specializes in Argentinian and other South America delectables on the large menu. Recent dishes that I have had include The Angel Chicken entree that comes with one side dish and I chose mashed potatoes for $18, Vacio (8oz. of flank steak) with a side dish that I chose of sautéed mushrooms for $20 and finally spaghetti bolognese for just $12. Their empanadas are $3 and offer many different flavors. The Angel Chicken is a boneless breast with cream, cheese and mushroom sauce along with spinach and is absolutely delicious! The only thing I could wish for was some gravy on the creamy mashed potatoes. The Vacio was packed with grilled beef flavor and very tender and those sliced mushrooms were full of taste and made for a satisfying meal. The big plate of spaghetti bolognese had a red sauce that was more mellow than tart and I loved it. I really don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. With every meal you are served a complimentary large warm bread roll. On the table are decanters of chimichurra and salsa creola to put on your bread and both are delicious and fresh. I think that salsa creola is my slight favorite. The table service is professional and attentive and they provide disposable straws for soft drinks and tea. In the background pleasant Argentinian instrumental music is always playing. This is a really good place to come for lunch and dinner."

Yay, got to try Harry's!! So many years of driving by, always rushing to get somewhere. But now I totally get why there is always a line out the door here. First, the service was just delightful. Our waitress was a ray of sunshine, efficient, friendly, and knew when to check in and when not to. Hard to find, gotta say. The sunny side up eggs were perfect. Nothing beats a beautiful runny yolk. The bacon...OMG, perfectly crispy thick cut slabs of cured goodness. Another OMG dish was the grits (forgot the pic, sorry). Yes, the grits. Creamy without being too buttery or greasy, well seasoned...so good!

No nuts in the coffee!I met a friend here and it was pretty full on a Sunday afternoon. There's seating indoors and a larger area in the back. You order and pick up at the counter. I had to park on a nearby street.Lovely, flavorful coffee at a reasonable price WITH a free refill? Perfect for catching up with a friend or a first date. It's a great spot that I'd definitely return to.

Andes Cafe was delicious and certainly made me feel as though I was in South America. The prices are a little high and with plentiful other options, if you're willing to pay, this is a great spot for some South American flavors!

This restaurant screams upscale. No hats. Flip flops not appropriate. With all the restrictions, the food and service needs to step up. Fortunately, it did. Once our guest doffed his cap, he was deemed appropriate and seated. We showed up two minutes later, ready to indulge. Our server, Davidly, has super interpersonal skills and made the evening pleasant and memorable. She guided us through the menu and helped us pick selections from cocktails to entrees. We started the evening with cocktails, old fashioneds and a Paloma. All were good. The mains were also great. Chimchurri steak, the Braised Short Rib and the platter with three meats were consumed. After dinner coffee selection is stellar.

"I came here for lunch and it is a lovely place for a quiet meal during the week! Our server was very attentive and polite. The lunch specials are reasonably priced. I got the enchilada special which comes with one enchilada (I got the traditional chocolate mole sauce with chicken)and refried beans and rice. The mole sauce had a great flavor and the rice and beans were delicious. I liked how the portions were just right and didn't leave me feeling stuffed! We also asked for chips and salsa. The chips were well seasoned and the salsa was nice and fresh. Definitely an authentic Mexican meal. I highly recommend trying this place!"
"I went to Seco's Latin Cuisine with a friend who was in town from Austin. I had never heard of Seco's but it's located right off of Kirby. They have a small lot but you'll likely have to park on the street. Seco's is a homey neighborhood restaurant. We were the only people there when we arrived at 5:30 but the restaurant soon filled up on a Sunday. There are some things to like and some things not to like about Seco's. While they're listed as a Latin American restaurant, the vast majority of the dishes on the menu are Mexican. We started off with complimentary chips and salsa and ordered some queso. The queso was some of the worst I've had at a restaurant. It tasted just like the Tostito's queso you can get at grocery stores. This was a shame as the chips were really good. For my main dish, I had the margarita chicken which comes with mushrooms, tomatoes, green onions, and serrano peppers in a creamy yet zesty sauce. The chicken is served with rice and comes with a side salad. While the chicken was good, the portion size was pretty small. You get two small pieces of chicken. The service, like the food, is average. Our waitress forgot to bring my drink and I had to remind her. She did, however, apologize. It also took a while to get our waitresses' attention after we had finished eating and were ready for our checks. She should've stopped by more frequently to check in on us. While Seco's is a solid restaurant to check out if you live in the area, I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again."
"We came on a Thursday around 8:00 and it was not busy at all. I ordered a margarita and it took awhile to come out. It wasn't pricey at all which I liked and the margarita was spot on. Ordered the Gloria's Super Special and it was good. I wasn't blown away but it was good. I really liked the plantain and remember the sour cream was really good too. They have a HH menu until 6:00 so I would like to come back and check out their specials."
"I took me wife to a pre Valentine's dinner at Lemon Tree and I'm glad I did it. The seafood was amazingly fresh and tasty, the staff was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu and the ambient was warm and cozy. Lemon Tree is a hidden gem, we'll be back soon with the rest of the family."
"First time having Peruvian food & was not disappointed! Started out with a chicken tamel and the chicha morada (purple corn drink) really enjoyed both. The chicha morada is served with pears in it and is kind of sweet but not too much. The chips are served with a green sauce & a spicy sauce & are super tasty! For entree I had basically a beef stew served with rice and red onions. The beef was super tender and overall I was impressed. My friends dish had fried plantains which were really good. Overall a good experience. Really wanted to try the desserts but was so full from the other food. They have good dessert options for sure. Will definitely come back here."
"Some of the best sweet and savory empanadas I have ever eaten. The chicken in pastry is my favorite but get their early because they sell empanadas quick, why... because they are just so delicious"
"This was a nice surprise. We went on Saturday around 3ish and were lucky enough to score a table. The place is small so space is limited. They seem to be constantly busy. When you walk in, go to the right to place order. We got the family pack and a mofongo to share. The family pack comes with 1/2 gallon of rice, 2 proteins, plantain and 4 canned sodas.Did not get a picture of everything. The 1/2 gallon of rice was huge. Our two proteins were the bbq boneless pork and the garlic chicken. The mofongo was disappointing. The rest of the food was awesome. There was plenty of food for seconds and to take leftovers home. We'll be back. Maybe not to eat there but most definitely to go."
"A local hole in the wall, family owned, delicious dinner spot! We are in town for a wedding so figured we would try a local spot near our hotel. Everything was delicious! Staff is kind and attentive! Food is authentic, flavorful, and served beautifully presented as well. Definitely recommend this place if you love Peruvian cuisine (or would like to try it)."
"How long do you need to be a part of a community to be a community staple? Idk the answer, but I'm calling it now, Pincho is a Cypress community staple! This gem is SUCH a special addition to the Cypress community! Are they Texas by blood? No. Are the burgers and sides priced a la carte. Yes. Are they still with a visit? Absolutely! Hailing from Miami, this fast casual spot is garenteed to wake your tastebuds from the suburban dead- well, atleast, that's what it did with mine! Since sampling all of the eats (yes, you read that right, near all), I've returned to enjoy the hangover burger (potato sticks and fried cheese, yes please), beef pincho (can't go wrong with the OG), and tostone burger (a surprise stunner). Credit to the Pincho dog as well...I don't even eat hotdogs, but this is not your Fourth of July hotdog, this thing is special! Pro tips:+if you're up for it ask for surprise pairings/ add one that pair with your burger of choice. Pickles work well on some, tomatoes on others, egg, even fried cheese if you're naughty! +Go beyond the traditional and try something new in addition to your classic order. This menu is packed with flavorful surprises! But whatever you do, if you take anything away from this review, I hope it's to visit them NOW before their lines look like Trill Burger!"
"This was a delicious unexpected find while driving on the highway through the Woodlands. Had the best vegetarian torta which went beyond the usual accompaniments without the meat by featuring portobello mushrooms. The stir-fried portabello were not too oily. Service was quick enough that I can see this as a popular lunch option in the area. The restaurant was full on a Wednesday even before noon. Prices were reasonable.Parking is somewhat limited, and I think is shared with a granite counter store next door."
"Great local restaurant! I enjoyed the mom and pop atmosphere. It was cozy and made me feel like I was at a family friends house eating dinner. The food was yummy and authentic/healthy. I look forward to coming back. :)"
"Located inside a strip center on the very corner is this "La Fiesta Restaurant" and let me tell you the entire experience here was excellent!! Vibrantly Decorated and even better Musica in the background!! Playing traditional selections that matched the traditional plates and cuisine!! Everything was Delicious from the handmade Salsa and Chip's to the Nachos! Huge portions and very reasonable prices as well. Table service right away and they even have outdoor space too. (Too Hot )Designated parking spaces around the perimeter plus ample parking elsewhere. Again Delicious Authentic dishes and saborso comida!! Loved the whole experience and we will definitely come back here again!! Muchos Gracias Amigos"
"LAZY DAY!!! Because I did not feel up to cooking a home cooked meal for me and hubby, I decided to place an online to-go order from this establishment. The online ordering process is super easy, but you must have a Chow account in order to place online orders with them. This is not our first experience trying their food. It's great Peruvian cuisine which we absolutely enjoy! Normally, my husband will pick up our order, but he was super busy on this particular day. Therefore, I decided this would be the perfect time for me to make an appearance and check them out personally for myself. This review has been a long-time coming. Firstly, when I arrived, the place was not busy. There was a couple dining in and it was nice and quiet. I don't recall hearing any music playing in the background. There was dim lighting which made for a relaxing ambience. They have TV monitors mounted on the wall for entertainment. The dining area was pretty clean and spacious. Customer service is top-notch. The lady that served me was extremely friendly and welcoming. My husband said that whenever he goes to pickup our orders, they're always friendly and nice to him. I'm glad that I was able to finally come and see for myself. Secondly, I ordered the Brasa burrito with salad for hubby and the two-piece rotisserie dark meat with black beans and Chaufa rice on the side for myself. I chose the green sauce and yellow sauce, which are complimentary on all orders. They also have a red sauce which is okay. By the way, their green sauce is my favorite one. It tastes so delicious when you dip the chicken in it or even if you drizzle a little on the Chaufa rice. OMG! DEE-LI-SHUSH! It has a semi-spicy cilantro flavor to it. My husband absolutely loves their Brasa burrito. It's filled with delicious pulled chicken, queso fresco, yellow sauce, Mexican cream, crispy onions, black beans, and chaufa rice all wrapped inside an enormous flour tortilla. He also favors the green sauce and likes to dip the burrito in it. As for the side of black beans, they're packed with flavorful deliciousness. NOW, for the rotisserie chicken, it's the best that I've ever tried in my life. It's also packed with mouth-watering, flavorsome, delectable, and unique Peruvian flavors. Furthermore, it's juicy, tender, and succulent! It's definitely a must-try! Hubby and I normally order their whole rotisserie dinners which are accompanied with three sides and six sauce flavors of your choice. Overall, I am a huge fan of their Peruvian cuisine. I think I will dine in one day, since their dining room is clean and spacious. Since hubby and I are always ordering the chicken and the Chaufa rice, we would like to try something different on the menu. However, their rotisserie chicken and Chaufa rice are the bees knees people! It's absolutely delicious! I rated them four stars because the Chaufa rice that they sold me was not fresh this go round. It's usually super fresh and piping hot. However, this time it was hard and the chicken that's in it was also hard, making it difficult to chew. Bomber, because it's my favorite side on the menu. Instead of replacing it with some fresh rice, they sold me some stale rice. I was highly disappointed. Since it was late in the evening and close to closing hours, I guess they didn't want to throw it out and make some fresh rice. Nevertheless, I am recommending anyone who enjoys great tasting food to give them a try. You will not be disappointed! You can also follow them on instagram @chickhouz for updates and to also witness some of their most delectable and mouth-watering Peruvian cuisines on display. By the way, they have a new Chick Houz location coming soon in the Tomball area."
"5 star alert!!!!! Wow this is a really good spot! Everything was amazing! Food: empanadas were simply amazing. I got the cheese, chicken and beef. My favorites were the cheese and beef. The beef are good as well too. The habanero hot wings were very tasty too. The ranch is really good too. The cheese empanadas have so much flavor. I say try every one of them just so you can get the taste from all of them. Also, the fried pork was simply amazing! Full of flavor and very tasty. All of the sauces that came along with the meal are so good as well. The are extremely nice and doing such a great job at his hidden gem on 1960. The manager is super nice and very personable. I will definitely visit this spot again! If you are in the area I highly suggest you give them a shot. You will not be disappointed."
"The food is always flavorful and delicious. Great, fast service and the restaurant is always clean. I always order online and it's ready quickly. I LOVE that they pack the sides separately so the juices don't mix."
"I ordered the gorditas and they were spectacular! The green salsa they give you was delicious. I recommend this place, the prices are great and the food is even better!"
"Hands down my favorite place for pupusa. I've been here durning the week and weekend and never experienced a wait, probably due to the large dinning area. This is a family owned and operated place so don't be surprised when you see young teenagers busing tables. Menu is in Spanish with English text under everything. Servers don't speak the best English but good enough to get your orde right. Food does take some time to come out only because everything is homemade and from scratch. Plates come out super hot and full of flavor. I recommend this place to all my friends."
"Location 4Parking 3Ambience 4Cleanliness 4Décor 4Prices 4Menu selection 5Service 4Food 3This family friendly restaurant is very nice and has quite a lineup of Mexican and Texican food at competitive prices. This was my first visit. I was brought here by some friends. this is more Texican than Mexican. I have lived in Mexico and have traveled extensively throughout Mexico for many years. I suppose that affected my expectations. I smiled at the item called "crispy tacos" which were served in American style taco shells. Their American clients will expect those for sure due to Taco Bell's influence. To their credit, the tortillas were freshly made and were wonderful. The aguas frescas were also great. I recommend the pineapple flavored. The service was friendly and efficient. However I was disappointed with my order of carne guisada which was more of stewed meat in a gravy rather than the traditional Mexican style sauce which has tomatoes, onions, garlic, some kind of chili pepper and often chunks of carrot or potato. My friends immediately saw that it was not like Mexican carne guisada and offered me to order something else. I did not want to make a fuss, so I just mixed some salsa in with the gravy which helped it. My friends ordered the #1, the Jalisco plate, with which I probably would have been more pleased. The menu is quite extensive and I'm sure there are other entrées I would have enjoyed more. Next time I will probably try the chile relleno. I think it's kind of a hit or miss unless you know what to order. The décor was great. I loved the mural of the maguey field, a common site in the State of Jalisco. I would be glad to try them again. I just won't order the meat with gravy they call "carne guisada.""
"**3.5 StarsLOCATION:Hawker Street Food Bar is located within the POST Market which is an indoor food hall in downtown Houston with ~20 vendors offering both local and international options. Beyond food, there are a few cute shops to browse and an amazing rooftop park that you can explore as well. On top of all that, they also have a gorgeous spiral staircase that's great for photos.PARKING:There is paid parking available at the POST. It's pretty high tech as their gates automatically recognize your car's license plate upon entry and it calculates your parking fees upon exit based on time. For M-Th: 0-75 min is free, $5/hr afterwards. For F-Sun: 0-30 min is free, $5/hr afterwards. You can either pay online or when your vehicle exists the gate. MY ORDER:[-] Bulgogi Fries from Hawker Street Food ($11.50) - flank steak, soy-sesame glaze, umami fries, kimchi emulsion, Korean gochugaru. These were well-fried and had good flavor but the sauce was pretty heavy and it was hard to eat too much of it. [-] Hawker Chicken Wings from Hawker Street Food ($10) - twice fried and glazed with chili jam. The chicken wings were fried well and the flavors weren't bad but there was way too much sauce. I'm not sure if this was an error though because our dish looked different from other pictures I saw online."
"I think this place is under appreciated because not many people were here during lunch. Most likely it's because it's in an odd location and the only hint of its existence is a Honduran flag flying near the entrance to this strange looking building. You'll have to have a good eye while passing by, be referred by someone, or specifically search for Honduran food on yelp to find this place. Don't be shy to give this place a try. It's actually a small and very neat restaurant. I tried seafood soup. It came with rice and two small tortillas. It was pretty awesome. Made with coconut milk, its like curry but not like Indian or Thai curry. It had a chunk of crab, some shrimp, banana, and other vegetables in it. (Insert smile face emoticon with hearts for eyes here.) This place is legit. I will be back to try some more things. Order at the counter and pay when you're done. Prices are very reasonable."
"This place is so good ! I'm glad they moved locations because they have so much more parking ! The food was hot and fresh and they were so friendly! They speak English and Spanish! Please go get some pupusas! They've been in the community for so long ! It's delicious! I love getting the yucca con chiccaron as an appetizer! Ask for extra limes !"
