Let me start off by saying, it is worth the HYPEEE! Parking can be tight in the front.. but go around the back and BAM there's more! The wait can be crazy when you go during peak hours, so don't go thinking that you will be sat as soon as you get there!The host and staff were really nice and helpful with anything you might need!If you're looking to go and chill with good vibes and hang with family or friends! This is your place!Our food was super good! Don't let the prices fool you.. the portions are HUGE! We had the surf and turf egg rolls, while good they were I overly cheesy, and kinda salty. We will be back again, cause the whole menu needs to be tried lol

FOOD: AMAZING value-- big portions, every dish is shareable. Quality and flavors are average. Big menu, large selections. Strong drinks! SERVICE: 7pm on a weekend -- good! Server was attentive, order-to-table time was 10 mins. Pay at the table! AMBIANCE: indoor sitting only, comfortable booths. Harsh white lighting, loud music. Casual/sports bar vibes. If you're hangry or hungover, this is your cure!

Great vibes, great music, great food, super fun!!! We had a time here. The food is so much though, there's no way we should have ordered all that food, we should've shared lol the food was great though! Our waiter was amazing and they even came over to celebrate with us for my cousin college graduation!

So upon arrival, it is right on the corner, and you can valet park and it is free. You just have to tip. You go in and make sure you go to counter because people are standing everywhere on the waitlist. You join the waitlist and they text you and it updates you of your status once you click on the link. They will tell you upon sitting down the time starts and you only get 1 hour and 45 minutes.When it was time to be seated, the young man was nice enough to tell me to watch out for the water as they were mopping and I appreciate that as I am clumsy :) I was seated and I only had to wait about 5 minutes for CC to greet me. She was so nice and friendly. She asked where I was coming from and thanked me for coming in. I immediately knew what I had wanted as I had been waiting so I used that time to browse more Yelp reviews and review the menu.I ordered:Frozen Cocktail Sampler: very strong Frozen Mangonada Margarita; A-1 - hands down my favorite and I drank it right up Frozen Strawberry Margarita; not up to par and you could not taste the strawberry-it was a chore to finish :(and Frozen Passionfruit Margarita - it was a tad better than the frozen strawberry margarita Quesabirria Plate Tacos - I did not like it at all. I'm not sure if it was due to the hype or just waiting, but I was not pleased and I definitely would not order it again.Surf + Turf Eggrolls - A-1 minus the steak as it did not agree with my teeth, but if I had to come again this would be the ONLY thing I would order.I am not sure of the hype of this place but I feel like one of my local mom and pop restaurants beat them. Also, I know the wait is known but I was honestly not impressed and I absolutely love Mexican food. The wait is not worth is when you taste the food, sorry :(My waiter was fantastic and made sure to check on me in between her big tables and I am so appreciative.Oh, and the manager was absolutely beautiful, dressed to par and was so helpful when you asked her questions. Customer service is amazing!!The red sauce is spicy but good (remember: I'm not a spicy fan) and the green sauce is just ok. The chips are good too.The bathroom had great quotes and sayings on the wall. I did enjoy that. The bathrooms were also clean, I just did not like that it felt like it was no A/C in the bathroom.The restaurant A/C was amazing and I give them 5 stars for that :)

I didn't know how large the portions were gonna be. Even the tacos are big, not those mini tacos. Even the kids nachos were a big portion. The strawberry horchata and the pineapple drinks were refreshing on a hot summer day. The eggrolls were crispy but very heavy. It's enough to share with 4-6 people for an app. The tacos were great and like huge and stuffed with meats. The birria sampler could be better. Tacos could have been good but it wasn't crispy. The sandwich was dry and the dip didn't really help. And the birria dip was lacking in a lot of flavor and heavily on the oil side. Kind of like dipping in oil and not a dipping sauce. My favorite was elote in a cup. Wish the hot Cheetos were hot but they were adding more a sweet flavor to the corn. Service was decent for somewhere that's is so busy and packed. Parking is chaotic even tho it's valet. It's very limited parking.

Is Dona Leti's a popular spot? Yes. Will I return? Maybe, but not on Tuesday. Let's get into it though. The story behind the opening of the restaurant is really touching. The family lost their father when they were very young and their mom worked hard to move them from El Salvador to the states. They then started out as a food truck, grew in popularity and opened a brick & mortar. Sadly, their mom passed recently as well but they make sure she's never forgotten as her picture is hung up in the restaurant :)With that said, my friends and I wanted tacos so one of them suggested we go to Dona Leti's. We got there around 6pm and the line was out the door. It was also crowded inside as the space is quite small. Luckily, 4 high tops opened at the bar so we snagged them up. Their menu is extensive, for food and drinks, along with good happy hour specials. I got the guac, veggie quesadilla and a strawberry pineapple juice. Everything they have is served in a large quantity!!! My quesadilla was yummy and the juice was delicious. Now the reason for the three stars isn't because of the food or drinks, but because it was so congested and I felt like we were all on top of each other. In addition to all the people, there were so many things forced to fit in the restaurant that need to go. The staff can barely fit through the door behind the bar to get to the break room because there are so many unnecessary things behind the bar. They should remove some of miscellaneous stuff out, deep clean the entire restaurant, then they'll really be good to go. Also, on Tuesdays, they should have two bartenders versus one. He was so busy trying to serve the bar and make drinks for the entire restaurant. Either way, I'll be back but not any time soon.

After reading the reviews I concur! It's Busy & Loud! I was shocked to see how much staff this place has, there were handyman, valet, servers, management, cooks even the parking lot cop walking around. Just chaotic! The restaurant was hot too, they had the portable AC's going & the ac was on. Downside for us our table was right under the AC and it kept leaking all over my back. When I brought it up to their staff their response was "it's too hot in here so the AC needs to be running" which I understand but I guess lack of accommodations for the price made it less appealing. The ambiance is part of the reason my rating isn't 4/5Food was good We ordered the egg rolls and, spicy jalapenos burrito & quesabirria tacos & the don drink & the Carlos drink. Drinks were great! The only negative was the guacamole was old on the eggrolls.Our server was a sweet heart, for all the chaotic ness she was very attentive.

Food is great service is friendly food portions are fulfilling so I don't mind paying prices

Adrien was AMAZING!!!! He went above and beyond with his customer service and he made sure we were good. The food was TOP TIER!

Food is very good!!!! Yes, they give you pretty big portions. NOBODY at any of the tables around us, ourselves included, was able to eat all their food. Everybody left with multiple to-go containers. lol The atmosphere is geared for a younger crowd and a tad rambunctious (I'm 50yrs old). But nothing disrespectful or dangerous. Just young people enjoying life. There were a families eating as well, and everyone seemed to be getting along beautifully. If I had one suggestion, it would be to turn the music down a little bit. There were a couple times, where are waitress couldn't hear what we were saying. But it didn't take away from our experience, that much. Now when you go, be prepared to be patient. We waited for an hour to be seated (we waited in the car....they will text you when a table is available) and then waited about 30 mins for our food to come out. (We did order an appetizer) I promise you, the food will far outweigh any of the minor inconveniences you might experience.
