"A friend of mine selected a restaurant for NYE '23 and chose this fancy, Vietnamese-French fusion. I typically don't go out or dine out for NYE but thought it'd be a nice change to do something fun. Reservations were made ahead of time. Location is in River Oaks. Valet parking is available, and there's an app that will inform you when your vehicle is ready. Walking in, I saw patio seating outside, but it was a chilly night, so no one was out there unless you were valeting. Check in at the hostess stand right at the door. Not much space between that and the staircase when there's a line to check in. You're not seated unless the whole party is present, which includes a part of 2. I was early, so they told me there was a seat upstairs at the bar. I ordered the Le Violete gin cocktail that was tasty and topped with egg white, which I'm a fan of. It was around $20. When my friend arrived fashionably late as usual, we were seated at a small table for two. There were small, gold and white balloons floating at the ceiling. Every time one would drift down, a waiter would casually grab it by the string and walk off with it. It was a bit comical. The island decor and dark interior/fixtures reminded me of Tommy Bahamas restaurants. So for the food, it was a prix fixe menu, unbeknownst to us since their website didn't advertise it. I look at menus ahead of time, so I was thrown off and disappointed that I wouldn't be able to try a few dishes I wanted. You choose an appetizer, entree , and dessert for $115. I had the pan fried chicken dumplings, shaking beef with salad, and the creme brulee. I ordered the garlic noodles as extra ($10) to try. The meal itself was ok and NOT worth $250 with 18% gratuity added and another small percentage of alcohol/food gratuity added. I really only liked the cocktail and creme brulee. The chicken dumplings were slightly soggy at the bottom because they put the soy sauce at the bottom of the plate instead of on the side for dipping. The shaking beef was filet but wasn't as tender as I expected. It was also a little sweeter but ok paired with the vinaigrette salad it came with. The garlic noodles were underwhelming and did not taste garlicky and was also on the sweeter side. The creme brulee melted in your mouth like butter. I think it's one of the best creme brulee's I've had. The little madeleines it came with don't really add to the dessert. Plus, traditional Parisian madeleines don't really taste like that. It was a hint of lemon and dry.It was a busy night, and the place was consistently being seated as people came and went. I personally wouldn't come back because I could have really good Vietnamese food elsewhere for less than half the cost. It was a decent experience for NYE. The least they could've done was throw in a glass of champagne since it was NYE."
"First off, ya'll know I love my play on words and puns. Pour Behavior definitely got that going on for themselves. This place is massive! They boast ample parking, but I thought the parking situation kind of sucks here. I feel like you have to valet to park in the lot. There is metered parking, but the surrounding area is a tad bit sketch. It's what you would expect on the outer perimeters of downtown. Customer service has always been great for my crew and I. Inside and out this place is beautiful. There's plenty of seating including VIP seating and a speakeasy in the back. Music always seems to be good and certain times of day or week you will have a DJ spinning. They also have plenty of TVs for your sporting needs. Food and drink wise, this place always delivers as well. I've had everything from a mojito tower down to delicious cocktails. For food, my friends and I always get a bunch of appetizers and share. I've had the Texas Chili Cheese Fries, Brussels Sprouts, Calamari and Wings. Everything was great. I want to come back and try some of their entrees and desserts as well.If you are looking to hang with a large group of friends, Pour Behavior is a great option because of the sheer size of this place. I will definitely be back!"

"The Flat is a dope vibe on Wednesday nights (only times I've been) with good music, people, food and drinks. If you've ever been to a basement like party in Brooklyn, this is the same vibe. Located in the Montrose neighborhood, The Flat caters to all. Every time I've been, the crowd is diverse, and that ranges across all ages, race, geographic location and gender identity. It's free to get in and there's plenty of street parking available. There's a Caribbean food truck out front and a guy who makes wings on the outdoor patio. I enjoy being out on the patio because there's plenty seating and you get to converse with other party goers and meet great people. It's also a breath of fresh air to go out in Houston and not have to deal with valet, entry fee or sections."
"We spent a fair amount of time here the last time were were in town. This place is great to meet up with people, have a drink or a meal."
"Just wanted to add that we recently had our private holiday party and it was beautifully decorated with a private staff just for us. Food from the menu was great and our business associates expressed how amazing the drinks were. Also, every Tuesday, Amexican Steak is there grilling up proteins on the spot! Keep up the good work!"
"I am rating this place solely on the cocktails because that is all I had there. This is a cute unexpected bar in Chinatown, with a sports bar-like vibe. I came in with a friend on a Thursday evening, and it wasn't busy.I enjoyed the two cocktails I had: Bubbly Pineapple and Peach Sangria. If you like sweet and fruity cocktails, this place is for you! I would recommend both of the drinks I ordered for the taste, but tbh I did not taste any alcohol (potentially dangerous lol). My friend ordered the Kiwi Breeze and something that had a name like Brazilian Lemonade. The Kiwi Breeze was refreshing (again couldn't taste the alcohol) and the Brazilian Lemonade drink was verrrrry strong. My fav drink was probably the Bubbly Pineapple for how extra it is (see video). Prices are pretty standard; $12-14 for a cocktail. Our server was great; we got our drinks pretty quickly after ordering and she was attentive to whether we needed to order more stuff. Parking situation: on-site"
"December 29, 2023Paloma cocktail... YUCK! It's definitely NOT worth $9 [and that's the HH price!!] We drove in from Galveston to go to the Botanical garden, and this was where I wanted to eatwe weren't that hungry, so I got the Blanco cheese dip and Mahi Mahi cerviche-- both delicious friend got the queso flameado, and it was a total rip-off. it was small... like a 4 inch round skillet with 1/2 inch of cheese in it. the bottom of the cheese was burnt... and stuck to the skillet! Tragic!WE ALL KNOW how gooey and delicious queso flameado is... so this was a huge letdown."
"I came here recently at 4:00 p.m. one evening, and after paying for street parking, was surprised that the bar wasn't open. So, of course, I checked out yelp for any recent reviews or notices of it being closed down and was surprised that it wasn't. So I made myself comfortable and sat on the furniture on the porch waiting to see if someone would eventually open the bar. Around 4:30 p.m., a guy rushed to the door unlocked it and ushered me and another patron inside. Once inside, I admired the Christmas decorations and the set-up of this renowned oldest bar in Houston. I had no expectations walking in and was pleasantly surprised by the interior. The bartender was friendly, jovial, and charming, my drinks were strong, and the music was cool. The bar was pretty empty up until I left around 10 p.m. A live band showed up around 9 p.m. and started jamming some tunes.I don't really have anything bad to say about this bar - I feel pretty neutral about it. Perhaps I need to revisit during one of the times when it's popping to get a true feel of this bar."
"I love this spot. I like to meet with friends and mingle here. The only drawback is they have no vegan options. They have live music and the ambiance is perfect and nice croup of customers.I will be going back soon!"

Never had egg rolls like these before! The fish sauce tasted perfect and didn't leave the usual fish sauce breath. The Bo Luc Lac (Shaking Beef) was exquisite since Filet Mignon was the cut! I believe they provided high quality ingredients and this is a bit upscale for Vietnamese food. Service was great. You'll enjoy the decor inside. I just didn't like where I was seated since it was a bit awkward facing a couple eating. I'm glad I tried it.

Happy hour is Mon - Fri from 4pm - 7pm. Pour Behavior has complimentary valet, 1/2 off apps, and $2 off beer, wine, and spirits. Pizzas were 1/2 off on Fridays as well. It wasn't too packed around 6pm so plenty of seating for any sized group. Our waitress did well on managing our table of 10. Drinks were decent and food was surprisingly good for being a bar. Not your typical bar food in having basically a full menu. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Last time we were here was pre-covid so I'm happy to see it surviving and thriving.

They have HH 4-7pm on weekdays and 11-7pm on weekends. The pizzas are half off and some of their drinks are discounted too. Got the spicy chicken, banh mi, and the goat pizzas. Pizzas are huge and definitely worth $8-9. The quality of the crust is okay, not the best pizza but the toppings were flavorful. The music is pretty loud since there's a live DJ, so it can be hard to have conversations, but I loved the vibes! There was a wall of vinyl records, surrounding the DJ. Felt like a cool nyc spot.

My wife and I were staying at the Hotel Zaza Houston Museum District and while there enjoyed two meals at the Monarch Bistro which had a visually beautiful appeal. Our first meal was dinner where I ordered the Pan-Roasted Redfish with sautéed spinach and mushrooms with a glass of white wine. The atmosphere here is on the upper scale so recommend business casual attire. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. The redfish arrived and presented nicely. The fish tasted very delicious for it had tremendous flavor and cooked perfectly. The mushrooms and spinach complimented it very well.Next up was brunch and was less busy where I ordered a cup of coffee and the Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwich. The coffee tasted as if made using a French press. The staff was once again very friendly and my meal once again presented very nicely. I enjoyed this breakfast sandwich where all the ingredients from the eggs, cheese, bacon, and bun tasted really good with breakfast potatoes on the side.Overall I was very impressed with our meals.

There really wasn't anything to rave about with this place. We arrived in a rather desolate shopping center where the lounge was and saw one of the employees chilling out front smoking a cigarette. She followed us in and introduced herself as our waitress. The place had a dimmed light atmosphere but not in the fancy restaurant kind of way. It was more of a dead-until-the-midnight-party kind of vibe. The music wasn't loud while we were there which was nice. The service was one of the worst I've had when it comes to skill and the water came from a help-yourself-jug on the bar (odd). The food was okay but all of the meals didn't come out of the kitchen together. I'm not sure if the was server error or normal practice. It's definitely not a place I'll go back to. I'd probably vote to not go there if my friends bring it up.

Came here on a Friday night for some birthday fun, food was sooo good, drinks were heavy handed so you know you got your money worth and it's live inside. With a dj and a dancer there was not a dual moment. Service was quick and they were pretty pack, but we got our drinks and food in a timely manner, she also came back and check on us multiple times. Get the crispy intestines if you're into it, one of my favorite on the menu, and I really enjoyed their watermelon soju. If you're look for a good time, good vibes and good food, 10/10 would recommend

Looking for nice patio with this lovely weather then maybe this will be your place. They have a spacious patio and nice decor ambiance inside. We were here on Tuesday when all their tacos are 1/2 off. Surely can't beat that price and so many options to choose.1st we were skeptical due to the low prices but it turned out to be good. Our server (sorry didn't remember his name but a nice young Asian guy) was very courteous.

This was Bar 2 on our Bar Crawl list. It's located right across the street from The Garden. My review reflects a NYE Bar Crawl so my review is based on that. For me the vibe of the place didn't really fit what we were going for. I thought it was cool they had a live band. But there was no space to sit and the bar was overly crowded. They had about four bartenders working the bar which they moved quickly. We had one shot there and kept it moving. We were in and out in less than an hour with the massive crowds.Maybe on another it when it's less noisy and busy it could be the place to be. But unfortunately that night just wasn't it for me.

"Came here for dinner with a friend. Loved the decor to the drinks, the food, and the service. There are multiple rooms with various decor and photo opportunities. Free parking and plenty of it. Free entry. No reservations are needed. Just show up and enjoy. If it wasn't cold, I would have sat outside on the patio near the waterfal. This place has ample space, decent music, great service, and delicious food drinks.Food:Chicken shwarma 10/10Chicken kabob 9/10Parkerz shrimp 8/10Mocktails: Strawberry lemonade 7/10 Purple poison 10/10. "I had dinner at FRNDS recently to celebrate my friend's birthday. I didn't realize it was more of a lounge than a restaurant so the menu is a little limited but the food options that are available were SO GOOD!My friend ordered the buttermilk biscuits and I opted for the truffle fries. Low and behold, it's plenty of food so we ended up doing family style because there is no way I could've finished all those fries. The biscuits were perfectly flakey and melt in your mouth. The truffle fries were amazing and I couldn't stop eating them when the server came to grab the plate, I grabbed the last 3 fries. That's how good they were! For diner I had the brick lemon chicken that's topped with butter, and comes with broccolini and fingerling potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly and I couldn't have asked for a better entree. My friend had the Salmon skewers and Brussels a la Carte. The drinks were also good! I had the "rich Auntie" and my friend ordered the famous "frnds with benefits" which I believe is their signature cocktail. It's deliciously tropical with a stencil of the longed logo floating. It's such a pretty drink! The service was amazing and we stayed two hours after our dinner catching up and enjoying hookah. Yes they offer hookah! And it's strong with multiple flavors to choose from. The lounge is located in rice village and there is plenty of parking nearby if you can't get a spot right out front. The ambiance was dim with small lights at each table making it the perfect scene for a date night or a girls night! The music was great and on this particular night there was a live DJ. We found ourselves singing to the songs and enjoying our night. I will definitely be back because the location is convenient and the food and service were top notch!"
"I stopped by The Refuge Bar & Bistro on a Saturday night for some drinks. Located in The Waterway District, I love this part of The Woodlands as it makes for a great area to bar hop and walk around. Especially at night when the waterway is lit up. They had some live music when we were there and there's a long bar close to the mini stage. We watched everything from a distance as they do have a small area overlooking everything with some comfortable sofas. We had a waiter too. Kind of felt like we were in the VIP area. Refuge has a pretty extensive cocktail list so we stuck with that. The cocktails delivered and service was on point. Definitely the type of spot I'd return to though I will say the crowd is a little older than other spots on the waterway."
"I ran into Matthew M here, and he said it was alright alright alright that he was here because he's the Lincoln Lawyer after all. It's also where the band Lincoln Park got their start. Lincoln Park hit the peak with "In The End" although earlier efforts like "Crawling" and "Numb" were top notch, and later efforts like "Breaking The Habit" were classic too.Not to be confused with the Stallone movie which was set in the Lincoln Tunnel, not Lincoln Bar.I should really deduct a star because every club night, they pour some of the foulest smelling stuff all over the road, and I wish they'd stop, it's just nasty and gross. But if we put that aside, it's a five star nightspot. The Lincoln has some of the nicest employees and is one of the most agreeable clubs along Washington. Some of the others, while being pretty exciting, can be pretty problematic in different ways, but the Lincoln has always been good to us, and is a good solid option for your nightlife needs. We like it a lot and we like partying here, and we think that the people are pretty good people. We've met a couple of very good and very hot friends here. And obviously a shout out to the girls that work here - some of the most beautiful women in Texas, every one of them stunning and spectacular. Texas, the state where all my exs live, is full of beautiful women, and nowhere moreso than the Lincoln.I thought you were my man. But I found out... I'm just a Lincoln your chain.Speaking of my man, back to that Stallone movie again:So bridges have now got me thinkin'That they're dangerous if you're drinkin'But don't tunnel aloneAlways take Sly StalloneCause you know he'll save you from the Lincoln!"
"I have been living there in the area for about 10 years now and I've never stopped in to jive bar lounge. I'm really shocked and I'm barely finding out about this place. We really enjoyed our time here. Very smoky, and one of the patrons has their dog all over the place. I mean I love dogs but not everybody loves dogs so if you bring your dog and you need to be a little bit more considerate and don't have your dog begging for food from everybody. That was quite annoying! Nice dog tho. Food: the food is the real winner here! The southwest egg rolls were so dam good! They came out piping hot and we were not given plates so they kept spilling. The wings were very good! Cooked to perfection. Some really amazing wings! The food here is excellent!Service: is quite slow as there is only one lady working this entire place. She definitely tries but needs some help. No way one person can tend to this many folk. They do have pool, darts and shuffle board games. Only drawback was got dam. So much smoke. I feel like I have lung cancer now."
"My review only takes Sunday mornings into account. We stopped by in chase don't be a good Bloody Mary. Our crew is mixed in Bloody Mary criteria. One likes a good presentation, one can drink them like Kool-Aid, and then there's me -- I show up for the snacks. When we pulled up, we weren't sure we had the right place. There really weren't cars in the parking lot and the building to the left looked like it was from the Hills Have Eyes or something. Still, our desire for munchies made us overcome and reservations - and we went in.We ordered three one for each of us. They did take a little while to come out, but when they did, for a moment the world revolved around those glasses. The drink was great - the food was great -- we could tell that each other was happy simply by eye contact. The wind just blew....that means my arm has been twisted to go back on Sunday."
"Stopped in here a second time since they moved locations, and I must say I was a little disappointed! For starters, the place has a lot of potential for a cool vibe and chill spot, but a few things could be tweaked. I met a friend up here thinking we could chill and catch up over a few things but that was definitely not going to happen. The music was so loud you can barely hear your thoughts, and for some ungodly reason they had a drummer playing with the DJ who was offbeat and out of sync. Just-ODD. I wondered if they were trying to give him practice but that was the wrong place to do so.As far as the drinks...well let's just say one is not enough. Someone told me the drinks have wine in them instead of any heavy alcohol. If that's the case that is highly disappointing, but makes sense because I felt-NO-buzz after one drink- neither did my friend. Now keep in mind there are a few of these frozen daiquiri joints that have popped up around here, and my experience with the drinks was much different. The noise level is the same, but the drinks were stronger. Another let down was that they did not have any food. They were dependent on a food truck who of course arrived fashionably late.On a good note, love the decor and the customer service was great. The drink "types" were nice, just need to add a little strength to them. Hopefully they will prevail past these issues and improve."
"Barbi likes to spend most of her nights the SCREW WAYBut I know one other thing that we love to DO WAYThere are other late night food spots, but here's the TRUE WAYGet yourself to Dun Huang, and eat a meal at NUWAY!I brought my gf here when her period was DUE WAYI looked down at her skirt, and I noticed a red HUE WAYI shoulda told her but I didn't, so she never KNEW WAYShe left bloodstains on the seat, but we both loved NUWAY!It's so good, it'll catch on faster than the FLU WAYIt tasted so yummy that my nether regions GREW WAYI found it so sexy, I dropped to my knees and BLEW BAEThat's TMI but IDC, just come and try NUWAY!If you wanna be a Playmate, this can be your HUGH WAYMy Generation might prefer the WHO WAYIf they were Shakespeare they'd be Taming Of The SHREW WAYHurry up and get your *ss directly to NEWAYThey started in the 00s, and since then they really GREW WAYOne meal's not enough in fact you should order TWO WAYTastes so good it makes me wanna eat from Barbie's SHOE WAYThere's no better Chinese food in Houston than at NEWAYDip your wings in it and you'll do it the BLEU WAYDon't swallow the food directly, first make sure you CHEW WAYIf I lived off the land, I'd do it the SIOUX WAYBut when I live off Chinese food, I do it the NEWAY!WHAT!One of the best late night restaurants in all of Houston. This is basically East Wall Restaurant but with the added bonus of being open very late. Unfortunately, unlike East Wall, they do not serve tap water, and they also have smaller portions, and it's also extremely cold in here throughout all the chilly months in Houston, of which there are a lot more than advertised. The temperature and water issue and portion size could be enough to lower the star rating but I won't - the food is too good, service is great, and the hours are perfect for us.But those factors are a shame because if these were not the case then we would eat here all the time, and one of the servers here is a true and great friend of ours and we love her. We talk pets with her all the time.We are a little sad that we can't come back here more because of those aphro mentioned problems - I mean aforementioned but whatever, google voice. So the food here is spectacular especially the flat noodles w chicken extra spicy, and the snow pea leaves extra spicy.Of course it's also a very imaginative karaoke place which is a great place to come and sing, which has rooms named after different parts of Houston and its suburbs. No money so I have to ScroungeLike me ever since I was YoungeAnd for Chinese FoodI don't mean to be rudeBut get your fat ass to Neway LoungeI basically have the same feelings for Neway that I feel for East Wall. One of Chinatown's best, with wonderful meals, perfect service, and one of our fave restaurants in Houston. We've been coming to Neway and East Wall for a year. Some of the best Chinese dishes, like Snow Pea Leaves with extra spice, and wonderful flat noodles w chicken, delicious and perfect. Their chili chicken is also good.NeWay is open later, with the same lovely servers and amazing dishes, a little bit more expensive, smaller portions, bottled water only. So we prefer EW.The employees here get 10/5 if that's possible. They're top notch, some of the nicest in Chinatown. I had a bad experience a long time ago (maybe different workers) but the current batch are wonderful.Easily scores 5, but I wish veggie portions were bigger, because they taste better than local rival in the same plaza FuFu, and for 50-70% as much food it's not filling, and harder for me to be a true regular patron. Also, milk tea, whom is one of the best cats in the world - a Siamese we found outside here as a baby, which led us to be regulars here. We love Milky so much! And of course, I recommend going to East Wall too, so here's a rap for East Wall:Ordered 20 dishes and damn it was quite the FEAST WALLI lift then I eat here, so they call me BEAST WALLEating here can be religious, so they call it PRIEST WALLMake so many funny raps about it, it's DECEASED WALLThey don't own the building, that's why it is LEASED WALLSince I stopped eating here nightly, my weight has DECREASED WALLBarbi doesn't douche enough, so they call her YEAST WALLHer taste's more explosive than conflict in the MIDEAST WALLFlavour controversial like OJ getting RELEASED WALLThought my D could not get bigger, but here it INCREASED WALLSo skip the peen enlargement pills, instead come to EAST WALLAlmost enjoy this as much as Donald being IMPEACHED WALLVoted for the Dems who handed racist Reps DEFEATS WALLHope that in 2 and 4 years the pattern then REPEATS WALLBarbi likes to pose here with her prissy shoes and FEETS WALLSometimes if she wears a crop top she shows off her TEATS WALLIf you want to taste the food that Barbi loves, try EAST WALLNot to be confused with how funny I am (Deceased Wall), my shirts (Creased Wall), or if you don't wash down south (Yeast Wall)."
"Before I came to this little gem, I read the reviews here. I observed two reviews from some local "Karens" who complained the staff at the locations did not wear masks and did not require anyone else to wear masks (mandates that are not required in the county). One of the "Karens" even said the place was "like going into a pre-covid time warp", which sounded perrrrfect to me. All of the other reviews were all 5 stars. So, due to the 5 star reviews, and because of the local "Karens" informing everyone the place doesn't require masks, I decided to take a family trip to the location. The place was great. We walked in with no ridiculous mask hassle and we're seated right away. We ordered drinks and some food. Of course, the kids got soft drinks, but the wife got a pineapple mimosa. It tasted like a dry Champaign was used which was perfect with the sweet pineapple juice. I had an IPA, which was great, if you're into that type of beer.We ordered "Brunch Pizza". The pizza was delicious. Essentially, it was pizza topped with bunch items that included over easy egg. Awesome. One of my chillins got a hamburger that tasted like a ribeye steak grilled over charcoal. Super awesome. The other chillin got a sandwich with fries. The sandwich was excellent, but my God, the fries were very, very good. Thin sliced and crispy. Like a cross between a French fry and a potato chip. Loved those. I got smoked salmon on baguette with cream cheese and capers. Incredible. The salmon tasted like it was smoked Texas BBQ style. Unusual but delicious. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. No covid garbage was excellent. If you are looking for a small business to support, where you can take your family without hearing a word about current politically driven, business killing, freedom limiting, life ruining junk about how YOU need to obey thine ruler, this is the place for you. If you are seeking a place where everyone is turned away unless they submit to wearing a muzzle across the threshold of the door and aalllllll the way to their table, 13 feet away, and where everything is done for "safety", and for the "greater good", and "save the children", this ain't for you."
"Yep, say what you want to say, but I'm giving 5 stars to this establishment in the "Tre". There are so many things to love about Third Ward-Houston. Although I grew up in the southern part of the Houston-Metro area, I'm no stranger to this area as I had relatives that used to live in 3rd ward that we would visit and/or we often fellowshipped with several neighboring churches. I'm proud to say that I love "mostly" everything about my black heritage and Third Ward keeps the history alive. Yes, this is what some would call the hood; but don't get it twisted, you can and will run into people of all races and professions here. You will see men in suits & ties and the more relaxed dressed people. It's pretty much a mature crowd of 30ish & up so leave the childishness at home. It's a real feel good spot. The bartenders are very friendly and pour up some strong drinks that will have you feeling good. I'm a witness because this past Friday (6/10/16), I talked to almost everyone in the place and even thought I was Chaka Khan and did a line or two when the singer passed the mic my way. Knowing that I'm not much of a singer, the drinks had me feeling good and everyone gave me love. Lol! I'm definitely a fan of the live music Friday's. Another thing I love about Status is that the restrooms are really clean!! One thing I dislike is a nasty restroom that's not well-kept, especially after you've been drinking and will more than likely have to go several times. No wet floors and paper all over the floors here.As Tashi L. stated, the music is always on point with a blend of old-school jams and new-school hip-hip so everyone should get their fix and leave happy and feeling good. I'm a fan!!"
"I've visited this place a handful of times and was disappointed each time. From the drinks machine not being ready ( an hour and a half after they open), to the lack of paper towels in the restroom, to the plastics cups I was served my drinks in. Their good is great, especially the pasta and tacos but the service is seriously lacking. Visited here on Thursday and my friend reported that there was a sign posted on the door that the property was seized for non-payment of taxes; I was not really surprised.I wanted to love this place since it seemed like a nice spot to hang out after work but it turned out to be an unfortunate desire. If they do reopen, I hope they improve the consistency of their customer service."
"After a Rockets game about a month ago we stopped here for dinner and drinks. Very cute and spacious set up. The decor is modern and it was very clean. The service was pretty good. The food was just okay. We were a party of 4 and all of our food didn't come out at the same time. When my food finally came out it was cold. They fixed it but still it was cold initially. The biggest drawback is the 20% SERVICE CHARGE that is added no matter the size of the party and you are expected to tip on top of this. The worse part is that the service charge isn't disclosed ahead of time you have to review your bill on the handheld or ask for a paper copy of your receipt but by that time you've already paid the fee. The steak egg rolls are delicious! The DJ played a good selection of music and according to my friend's the hookah was "fire". Would definitely recommend trying it but be aware of the undisclosed service charge!!"
