"Because there's so many Indian restaurants on Devon Avenue, it doesn't matter a lot if one is bad. It has plenty more to choose from. Khan BBQ isn't bad, but there's many places that are better though. About the worst that can be said about it is the atmosphere. There's not much to it, so just focus on the food instead. A lot of familiar items are on the menu such as tandoori chicken if you're looking for traditional Indian barbecue. It also has non meat items. The one we got was the Chana Masala. It's about $12 for the vegetarian entrees. These don't come with anything though. Add a few bucks to get naan. Then add a few more to get rice. All of a sudden it doesn't sound like such a good deal here. That's the main reason I can go to many other places to get something quite similar. For quality of the food, it's good. It's not anything better than from many other places you can get to on Devon Avenue from here. The good thing about it is with the meaty and vegetarian items, it's good for groups because there's lots of variety."
"The food items on the menu for an online order are not descriptive at all, and there aren't really any photos for one to know what they're ordering. For the price of the entrees, I expected rice to come with the order but there was no rice. My office ordered multiple entrees for delivery for our lunch, but none of the bowls that came were labeled. We couldn't figure out what what was what, especially since the menu online had no descriptions nor photos to help. The food leaked orange oil all over our desks."

"My girls were craving Biryani and I didn't want to cook. Found this place close to my office so we decided to try it. Everything is made fresh so we put in our order went back to work and picked it up an hour later. Loved the chicken Biryani, and the big Samosa with the chickpeas. those were my favorites but really, everything was delish. My two girls and I did not stop until all the food was gone! Will definitely order from there again.Sorry, I forgot to take a picture first but remembered halfway thru my plate!!And yes, I agree, the owner is nice and personable."
"Lahore.. you don't go here for the ambience or a bourgeois night out. This place is legit just to relax and chill with your loved ones for a good time. We drive an hour just to go to Lahore. It is a bit dark and gloomy in the cafe to be honest.. but upon sitting down we have a garnishment of sorts with onions, lettuce, cucumbers and a yogurt chutney. They are known for their Lahore Chargha(half or full chicken in mouth watering flavors, spices, and juices)!! Y'all .. let me tell you!! It is fire!! You should order it at least 30 mins in advance. There is literally nothing better thn that chargha! The family usually gets the chargha, keema fry (fried minced meat), Lahore dal (lentiles), naan, and tawa rice (fire azzzz chicken rice)The staff is friendly, the food is priced reasonably, and you cannot get this flavor of spices anywhere else! Anyone with a flavorful palette will appreciate this joint!"
"We pulled up and we're a bit confused, couldn't see that they served food. I will admit I used my handy Yelp app to see what was nearby, looked at the pictures and star rating and decided to head over. What a pleasant experience, we walked in and asked if they're serving now and the owner showed us the way over to the tables, gave us menus to look over. We placed our order for Dahi(Yogurt) chaat. and mutter paneer, both were delicious and exceeded our expectations. The owner checked back with us several times to make sure we were doing okay. We bought a few grocery items and an Indian spice box I wanted one to go along with the cooking classes that I signed up for, I explained this to him and he did say he was trying to talk his wife into teaching. I shared some more of the class info with him. He gave me his card and said if I ever had any questions to give him a call. If I'm ever in the area, I'll make it a point to stop back in. They also have samosas ready for a quick to go item another perk."
"This is in a strip mall, with access to an alley so on exiting you don't have to turn left on Roosevelt. There's plenty of seating and a mural with a little photo op bench that makes it look like you're in a minicab. Service was OK though the server was on his phone until it was quite obvious I was going to order.Vegetarian items are clearly marked and none of the "fusion" options are vegetarian. So I stuck to the classic options (samosa; chaat on samosa; various things on puri or papi), which are nacho-chip sized papadum (I had to ask). Sauces are extra, apparently house-made). I'm not desi, so I had to ask some questions - the website provides descriptions of ingredients. The "sweet" section of the menu includes mango or rooh afza falooda (which the internet informs me is rose and various herbal flavors) with little jelly bits and ice cream, or you can get them in a lassi. Or there are multiple nonalcoholic mojito flavors. I got a "plain old samosa" with spicy green chutney and a mango falooda. The samosa was unexceptional but fresh from the fryer with very crisp pastry; the spicy green chutney was; and the mango falooda was delightful. I'm not super excited about the food (I'm more or less done with samosa chaat and I'm not a big fan of puri) but I am excited about the drinks selection. I'm not the target audience, but if you like fast Indian street food with a variety of sweet drink options, check them out!"
"We order to go goat biryani from here and definitely worth the hype, one of the best biryani experiences ever for sure. Maybe next time we will try other items from here as mentioned in other reviews.."
"We went to this place for sehri and while we were the only group there their buffet was really good the kabobs and chicken tikka were awesome and while i didn't eat everything in their buffet since it was suhoor. i highly recommend people to try this place out. this was our first time going for suhoor to devon and we really enjoyed it here as a group of 8 people we had a fun outing"
"Basic looking locally owned Indian restaurant but the food isn't basic. It sure is easy to find Indian food in Rogers Park, and if you're looking for authentic stuff, you can get it from here. Naan On Devon is a little place visited mostly by Indians. Meaning, if they like it then it must be good. The entrees are just that and don't include naan or rice, but the prices are okay. About as authentic of Indian as you can get. It has that pungent Indian food smell as you come in. That better be the food I smell. Anyway, we got some authentic cuisine. The menu is full of lots of stuff. Chana Masala is her favorite so she got it. It's about $11 for entrees, which is a pretty typical price for Indian food it seems so I won't complain a whole lot about prices. The one I got was the Mix Sabzi. It's another vegetarian item. This is basically mixed vegetables. Both the entrees were good. The problem was they were only the main part and nothing else came with these. It didn't include naan. There was no rice. It's a couple bucks extra to get bread. Then a couple more for rice. Good as far as what we got. It would have been better to include naan or rice with it. These are typically eaten with entrees so it's kind of fucked up to not include these."
"We ordered a lot of food for takeout today as my husband was craving for their food. Big thumbs up for the takeout package! I was surprised that everything felt like fresh out of kitchen when we got the delivery. The food was carefully wrapped with tin foil, so everything was nice and warm. Overall, the food was delicious. Love their beef samosa for the crispy shell and garlic naan bread for the fluffiness. However, the Tandoori Lamb Boti Kabob was terrible. The meat was dry, chewy, and loaded with spice... Not sure if this is the way that lamb kabob is supposed to be, but that dish is one bad apple that ruins the bunch."
"Okay so this is one of those places where kudos must be given for concept alone. It is something all of us Indians at heart search for...tada! search over. Here's what I love: a healthy variety of sweet and savory Indian snacks of which some can be full on meals. very creative and fun names given to food items. They have the largest medley of paan I've seen. Goodness, they even have golas. Their coffees are not your local gas station concoctions, they serve legit espresso, cappuccino, and lattes. I like the high tables. In terms of overall building cleanliness and employee morale, it seems as if that initial exciting blaze has fizzled to a single wick candle flicker, and that happens. Service can sometimes feel lackluster depending on who is helping you. Nonetheless, we will continue to swing by for some gol guppas, falooda, and, of course, some paan for the road ...because paan thats why"

This place has been an institution on Devon for many years. Authentic Pakistani style BBQ is their specialty. The restaurant is a no frills place with little to no decor. But it's clean and the service was quick on this night. Got me my water right away and the complimentary "salad". Which consists of cucumbers, onions and cabbage. No dressing but come with two bottle of sauces on your table. Green chutney and tomato ketchup. I ordered the tandoori champ. Goat chops spiced and grilled in their tandoori oven and one naan. The chops were moist with a great char. The spices were well balanced. And really a tasty dish. The naan was hot and fresh. I appreciated the tenderness of the goat while still having that char on top.We always get stuff to bring back from the restaurant but it was good to be able to go and eat fresh there too.

A good place for more upscale Indian. If not already implied by the name. Usmania is one of the many places on Devon Avenue in Rogers Park. Bhindi Masala is the best. There's lots more to choose from. Because of the name it's expected to be expensive. It's more of an upscale but still casual place. The entrance is kind of like an indoor patio it seems. After that, doors lead into the actual dining room. It seems like a big place, and there's always lots of banquets and stuff. It's about $14 for an entree. We got a few classic items, and found a few good ones. I got the Bhindi Masala. Th okra was kind of soggy. Other than that, it was okay. Tons of spice. Good upscale Indian. It doesn't include naan or rice with entrees, so you have to pay extra to get these. There's quite a few things on the menu for vegans and vegetarians.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant on Devon. The food is always fresh and delicious, the service is great, and the restaurant is clean. The food is truly high quality. We always come here for the haleem, which is the best in Chicago in my opinion. The chapli kabobs are perfection - very juicy and flavorful, and the mango lassis are amazing as well. While not a "fancy" place, the food and service are exceptional. If you're looking for reasonably priced, authentic Pakistani cooking, Lahore Food & Grill is the place to go. You will not be disappointed!

I love there chicken noodle aka chicken chow mein, Briyani are tasty but enough for 1 person because they only give you three pieces of chicken in each serving
Visit Restaurant Page"They were very attentive, taste was good and had plenty of vegetarian options. It hit the spot on a cold fall afternoon. The prices were ok and there was enough food for leftovers the next day."
"This is some of the best food in the Chicagoland area. After they closed their Devon St. location in the city we finally made a trip out to Naperville to taste that perfect Frontier Chicken and Lamb Kebab once again.I'm happy to report that the Naperville location is just as good as the closed Chicago spot. I was so happy to see the menu is also intact. Service was fast, and the restaurant was very clean.I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could. Get the Frontier Chicken and Lamb Kebab for sure, but I'm confident everything on the menu would be perfect."
"Came to another of these Indian restaurants on Devon Avenue. It's easy to find a lot of good ones, and this is one of those. Delhi Darbar is kind of one of the farthest away. Located about as far to the west as the Indian neighborhood gets. The prices and the spices make this worth venturing to and getting some authentic food for not a lot. Better than it looks, because it looks pretty plain so you think the food might be. It's not of course. There's the Indian classics and some lesser known ones. It's about $12 for an entree. We got a few of our favorites. Has some good vegetarian choices. I picked the Chana Masala. An unfortunate thing is entrees don't come with anything. These don't include naan or rice. Pay extra. The only bad thing about it. Good authentic flavors. It's unfortunate the entrees don't include naan or rice so you have to pay more to have it. There's quite a few choices for vegans and vegetarians."
"I highly recommend this business! The food was hot and delicious, the portions were generous, and the presentation of the food was nice. The variety on the menu was large - although the drinks were a little constrained. I asked for tea, but I was warmly greeted with that which wasn't my imagination nor typical of the American convention (black tea). Something easily oversee-able, especially when the milky beverage was tasty nonetheless. The cleanliness of the restaurant, the service, the prices - all stellar. Our waitress was so darn polite and kind. It was unlike any previous service I had experienced in Illinois. There was no wait time either (we walked in at 12:47 p.m. on a Saturday). I would be so glad to return for further business and thankful to have been shown it."
"This place is tiny and tucked away and unless you yelped it or happened to notice it while turning in to 7-eleven you might miss it!It's quiet and small, but there are a few tables. Probably not great for a big group to dine in but spacious enough for a lunch duo.Basit, I assume is the owner and is very friendly and helpful! I have only had 3 other experiences in Indian cuisine and no one has ever been able to really explain ordering options to me nearly as well as he did. I am so grateful!I was hoping to order some samosas, but he informed me that his mother hand makes them, freezes them and then they fry on demand, but she was on vacation. So I hope to try them next time.I ordered chana masala, a chickpea curry; a tandoori chicken wrapped in paratha bread (I was told the difference between chapati and paratha is oil, both are like an Indian tortilla); and a side of rice, which was a bit extra when ordering a vegetable dish. I have had chana masala only once before, this one was a little bit thinner, spicier and more savory than my first experience elsewhere (first time was sweet). It was spicy and the flavor was complex and delicious. The basmati was fragrant and al dente. The tandoori chicken wrap on paratha was a little spicy and very flavorful, a bit saltier than expected but not bad. I love the chewiness of the paratha. I could probably eat 6 pieces of the bread alone. There's a self serve water cooler which I thought was abnormal but fine by me. Seems like this place is run singlehandedly. I was told some things like the tikka (chicken on the bone) take a while to prepare so best to order in advance. I have no complaints. This was a delicious and affordable lunch and Basit really shows he cares.P.S. I hope some of the people who reviewed a long time ago will give this place another shot. I think it's new management and they DO take credit card now."
"Very delicious and mouth-watering mutton biryani. Generous portion of rice, spiced well, rich, and full in color. Friendly and prompt service. Overall, an awesome spot for halal food and unique flavors provided in a casual setting."
"We finally tried Chai Ho Jai. We went at 1 pm on a Sunday afternoon, but they said lunch items were not available until 2:30 pm! That was annoying. We had to select from the breakfast menu. You order and pick up at the counter. We ordered a pink Kashmiri tea, a karak milk tea, and a beef kabab fry set (plus one to go).The teas were decent, especially the pink Kashmiri. The beef fry was basic ground beef and paratha (bread) that we ate while growing up...served in a paper plate. It's not that it was bad, but it's overpriced. I guess for people not in our culture, they will think it's something unique or exotic. For the to-go beef fry we got for my parents, they didn't even include the onions or chutney; it was just ground beef and bread. Our total bill was $52.The interior is rather cramped. Thankfully they don't blast the music, but the sound of conversation is boisterous. You have to speak up for your table mates to be able to hear you. All tables were taken, but thankfully one family was wrapping up, so we circled their table like vultures. :pOverall, not impressed. I'd maybe consider going again for drinks, but wouldn't bother with the food."
"This place was book-marked, on my radar, and then recommended by Pakistani friends so I figured it was a no-brainer. We were somewhat in the area and decided to make the trek to Devon to check it out.We got lucky in that we were seated at the last open table. It took a little bit for the staff to realize we needed a waitress but once that happened it was smooth sailing. The samosas were excellent to kick things off. Then the chicken tikka - which I saw another table order - was on the top of the list for me and didn't disappoint. And finally the Highway Paneer was very good but a little too spicy for the girls. Of course, I could have eaten their naan all day long.Very good food. Nice atmosphere. Excellent option if you are in the area."
"I wouldn't be called an expert in Indian food, but have tried more than a couple places. By far, I was impressed with the flavors here the most so far. To start, never having seen beef samosas, I had to try one, and it was great. I loved the veggie puff as well. It was storming outside, so for some reason I was drawn to the KADAI GOSH . The description readRich Curry Made With Mutton(Goat) on the Bone, Slow-Cooked in a Thick Gravy. The flavor was amazing. The goat was 75% bones, but I've only had Jamaican goat as a comparison, and that was boney as well, so I can't single this place out.The garlic naan was the best I've ever had in my life. It complimented perfectly with the thick sauce of my mutton. My wife tried the SHAHI PANEER, described as Cashew Gravy With Chunks of Paneer, Butter and Cream With Indian Spices. We've never had that and wanted to try something new. It was fantastic, and I'll be looking for it more often. If you are looking for a no frills but big flavors, this place delivers."
"Anmol Barbeque Restaurant is a Casual, family-owned eatery offering traditional Pakistani cuisine made from halal meats. This is by far the best bbq we've had on all of Devon ever! We've tried them all and Anmol is a definite stand out from the rest. The place is very clean and they also have a sink where you can wash your hands before and after eating. Entrees are not only outstanding but generously portioned. They are the only establishment on Devon that puts 3 sauces on the table (cilantro-creamy, mint onion chutney- herby, and a plum - sweet and spicy) to go with all your meats and entrees. The place is packed on weekends but well worth the wait. Staff is professional and won't rush you like some other places there do. Amna was our server and she was very attentive and made sure we had an enjoyable meal. All items are top quality, authentic, freshly made and delicious! This place doesn't disappoint!"
"What we have here is great food, lovingly prepared, served with attention. The Chicken Biryani may be the best I've had in Chicago. Perfectly cooked rice, delicious. Recommended."
"Wah Taj is amazing!! This Indo-Pak fusion restaurant replaced the old Indian restaurant "Sankalp". The inside is completely renovated and remodeled and looks so much better - way more modern. My group and I shared a variety of entrees - we tried the Paneer tikka masala, butter chicken, chicken 65, garlic naan, vegetable samosa & mango lassi. Every item we tried was delicious and everything was made to order - be patient when you order curries as they are making them fresh - no premade curries here. They can make the meals to your spice level from mild to very hot.The service was excellent - extremely friendly and happy to tell you about the chefs specialties or anything all the menu. Prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be back to try their lunch buffet ($20) and their wraps.Thank you Wah Taj!"
"***Note the rating for this business does not belong to Shinwari grill. It was for the previous restaurant. Whether this new business fills their shoes is yet to be seen. They have only been in business about a month.*** Shinwari grill is new to Devon ave, however, they are not new to the restaurant scene. It strikes me odd they took over Masti Grill's listing with ratings and "claimed" it as their own. That kinda bs is not cool and I inquired with them about it. To which I received a canned reply of, "uh, yeah, a lot of things switched hands fast at the time of the switch and we're still figuring that out." Again, that's bs. Their takeout menus have a Yelp logo on them, their in-store marketing mentions their Yelp page and this web page has been verified as theirs with an update on the new owner. So just note that most of their recent 5 star reviews belong to the last restaurant is all. Shinwari moved in, switched out much of the kitchen with all new cookware and has been operating about a month now.Regarding the previous restaurant: Unfortunately it seems that Masti Grill has shuttered their doors and moved out. Good luck to you Tanveer, I'd always hoped Masti would have taken off. If located in a different area of town and with more accessible business hours, it could have done better. Who knows. You brought a new stance to (late night) Pak/Indian food, surprising casual diners with freshly prepared recipes & appetizers. A detail that should be available across Devon "hotels" but is not. Hotels should not be confused with regular, sit-down restaurants ie Tiffin. In India a "hotel" is a fast food joint, to us here in the states it's a diner. Back to Shinwari grill. Much of their menu is Pakistani food with a few Indian crossovers. (In my mind, much of our food is mutual in name and ingredients. However, there are differences in the amount of oil used to start a curry and a far lighter hand of spices used for heat. Almost always, store bought Pakistani food is mild) Shinwari has been open now about a month and are in the process of figuring out their groove and how best to serve their new customers. So far I've been in twice spending an average of thirty plus dollars on takeout. I'll tell you, I think a free membership for anus calisthenics comes with every order. I'm two in and both times my anus has had a vigorous workout. There's the all night puttering which helps focus your anus to short, loud, bursts. Then the day long, overextended usage of pooping. Honestly, I needed a couple days of rest after those workouts. My orders have consisted of veg samosa, a couple breads and a curry. Over the short time, their samosas got better. The first time the shell was harder and darker colored than normal. I've seen this before with newbs using the wrong ingredients. On the second go, the shell was perfect as was the filling. I'd definitely order veg samosa again but only if they offer tamarind chutney. Presently they offer a sort of raita which to me does nothing for it or your taste buds. (You may like to use ketchup or BBQ sauce.) Don't get me started on their cost/type of breads. I'm not a fan. (Note to self. Get store bought paratha or make Costco chapathi)About the curries. All consistently gave my ass something to talk about. Day long flatulence... wowzers. An okra curry (bhindi gosht) that was so bland, murgh cholay (oily) and butter chicken. The butter chicken had good flavor, consistency and the meat was slow cooked. Too bad it upset my stomach.. but good for me, I suppose. Value vs cost vs health.. I can't be spending all my time on a toilet. Nor can I have a date over if I'm puttering under the sheets. Trust.. it's not fun to be told.. "honey! that's not sexy!!""
"Kabab King Grill's menu has both Hyderabadi and Pakistani dishes. They have specials every day. We went on a Sunday so we had their kichdi and kheema meal. It comes with a flavorful til ki chutney. Their standout dishes are definitely their white karahi and mutton karahi. They come out sizzling in heavy woks. The white karahi is a creamy delicious chicken dish. Service is quick and straightforward.Definitely the place for both Hyderabadi and Pakistani cravings"
"2 stars for the food (i guess)Let me break it down-It's express- get ur own plates and stuff- nbd, i can do thatBUT the kicker is- We sat down (party of 5), ordered food- had one dish we (including kids) were ACTIVELY eating, and the guy who works there comes and asks us to MOVE to another table, because another party had JUST entered and wanted to sit in our spot. ... like wtf? Who does that ? Ive experienced asking for chairs, heck even a table- but asking PHYSICALLY TO MOVE FOR OTHER PATRONS? wow. Just wow. Also, of note- tables in front and back EMPTY. Why couldn't they sit there? We said no, while pointing out they were welcome to the extra chairs/ table, but we were not gonna move. The employee was so mad!! Made a face, all but rolled his eyes, and then started throwing the chairs around with flare! Who does that?! So overall- will we be going back? NO. Do i recommend anyone else go? Probably not. Unless you want to get disrespected for not jumping from one table to the next in the middle of your meal. Also- this is a franchise- (i asked around). To the best of my knowledge no relationship to the bundoo khan on devon street which is under other ownership- now that place i do recommend. Also let me make a list of everything we ordered- 1. Highway chicken karhai- good 2. Chicken tikka x 2- good, spicy tho 3. Beef seekh kabob- dry as anything, i do not recommend 4. Malai boti- was good 5. Garlic naan - good 6. Plain naan- average 7. Puri- was super oily, AND the guy conveniently "forgot" it, til we showed him the receipt 8. Ras malai- BIG NO. I swear it's gross, overpriced for what they give AND there was hardly any milk syrup. In conclusion-my advice is: seriously- spend your money elsewhere. I sure will."
"New menu and new ownership. The restaurant is still decorated the same. The water is nice and cold and the restaurant is nice and warm even when it is -1 outside. The owner is really nice and made food suggestions to us. I am eating a mostly vegetarian diet and loved that there are several dishes to choose from here. My husband ordered the butter chicken with rice it was so delicious! Highly recommended! I ordered Aloo Gobi which is cauliflower & potato with a yellow sauce. It was very delicious too! Would definitely order it again! We also shared an order of garlic butter naan which was crispy and delicious, I dipped some into my husbands butter chicken sauce to try it and yum Don't forget to let them know if you like your food mild or spicy. The food was made fresh and smelled so yummy! We will definitely dine here again and recommend you give this place a try!"
"I have to Karahi on trying to come to eat here for a second time, because I've had two failed attempts in a row now.The first time I came here for Karahi - no surprise actually since the place is named after it - I thought it was pretty spectacular. I couldn't wait to come back again! All good the first time, but the next two times I've been here including just a month or two ago they closed down for the night about an hour early and it was really really annoying because why post a closing time all over the web, and have that same Closing Time be on your door and all over the Internet and then people show up and you close early, in midsummer no less, on the night of the pride parade no less. Really though. There were people literally still getting their dishes and I would have probably eaten faster than any of them because I like a quick in and out as some girls and boys do. But they wouldn't let me in, and wouldn't let me order - not even to go.Can't wait to actually eat here again, might raise it back to 5 if the problems don't persist."
"Came in for brunch. Ambiance is cafeteria like and service was pleasant. FYI Families generally sit in the more private section in the back. This is a hidden gem for sure. Folks who enjoy a dish called Paya would really appreciate this establishment. We had neehari on our first trip along with biryani. Very pleased to say the least. Perfect for days your are hungry and looking for flavor minus the breaking bank part."
"I have only been here for dinners and I was excited when I found out Saffron has lunch buffets on the weekends (Fri, Sat, and Sun)! $16 from 1130a-230p. The variety was great and I enjoyed all the dishes. If you like chicken, they bring you a tandoori chicken for each person and a basket of nan to the table. "Second time there. Newly opened Indian restaurant ( Mostly Hyderabadi dishes) Small sit down area but reasonably tidy and quick service. In starters Lokmi ( ground beef puffs) was good, chicken pakora was dry but flavorful. Lamb Haleem is the BEST IN TOWN! Goat Biryani is good. Platter was OK. Patther gosht ( lamb fry) was excellent. Butter chicken was very gravy than it should be. Tea is great. Place to come back again! Especially for HALEEM"
"Tiny little mainly take out place with 2 small tables. The goat biryani is amazing, there was only 2 bones in mine but both had some marrow in it! Yum! The rice is strongly seasoned and every grain is covered. Nice fluffy rice, sooo good. There was a bunch of orders before us so order ahead if you don't want to wait 20 minutes for food."
"Family owned local cafe. Good place to visit if you are looking for Halal South Asian style chai with snacks. This place is clean, plenty of parking and excellent service.Went there today on their soft opening day. We ordered their chai, samosa and rasmali dessert. Chai was good, samosa was good and had chicken filling in it (they also have vegetarian option too), felt bit oily though. Highlight of the evening was their rasmali dessert. One of the best I have in Chicago-land so far. They have other options as well, may try their samosa chat next time.Overall it was an above average experience. If you are looking for chai and snacks late night you will enjoy this place. Loved the pricing, you will spend less than $10 per person on average. I would recommend them."
"The real deal. Closer and less expensive than a trip to Pakistan. Enormous portions (two people can absolutely share one main course) and a high default level of spice are the watchwords here. The colorful and voluble customers make the experience. Modest facility with a single, much-used bathroom and dedicated parking. Your correspondent likes not loves the kitchen's sensibilities but is equally unqualified to pass judgment on its level of authenticity. The milk-in tea isn't a favorite but certainly is ubiquitous in authentic Pakistani food joints. Rice is very competent and good without being the bestest. The freshly-made naan bread is, however, not to be missed."
