Amazing amazing amazing! Food is very tasty without being greasy, and the portions are HUGE! Prices are very fair, and service is friendly. I've never dined in, but have done carry-out a few times. Everything is packaged well, and you know it's prepared fresh because it is HOT!! A few notable items: chicken biryani, chicken 65 biryani, chicken 65 roll, beef fry roll, and veg puff are all incredible! I haven't tried any of the curries or their Indo-Chinese and South Indian items, but if it's any relation to the flavor explosions of the other items, they'll be knock-outs too. As a matter of fact, I think Chicken 65 biryani is calling out to me tonight...

This was our 2nd time ordering a carryout to try other items on their menu. Amazing rolls packed solid with halal meat and no filler items! Each roll had a distinct flavor and was served with toum sauce (garlic sauce made in house). The food is not at all greasy or oily like other places. They are very well organized for carry outs and the restaurant was packed for a Thursday night. The service is fast and friendly. Prices are comparable to other establishments but quality and quantity is king here!

Great food, great portion sizes and great smiles from the servers upfront. We took the food to go was great. It was a recommendation from a close friend of mine, and it did not disappoint . It seems more of a place than a place to sit and eat

I've frequented Desi Tadka on four separate occasions, and each visit has offered a unique culinary journey. From indulging in the aromatic Chicken Biryani to relishing the creamy Paneer Butter Masala alongside warm Naan, the variety here is commendable. However, what truly steals the show for me is their chai. Consistently rich and flavorful, it's become a highlight of my visits. While the food has been good, it occasionally falls short of exceptional. Nonetheless, the service has been attentive, and the ambiance provides a comfortable setting to enjoy a meal. Desi Tadka offers a delightful blend of flavors and hospitality, making it a worthwhile dining destination.

Food is good but saw a roach and I wish I didn't. Tried to give desi tarka another chance after they reopened for violations. Just clean the place up!!!!...how hard is it!? Cups hanging on the wall is NOT DECORATION! Great food gross dining area. Service can also use improvement. Forgot or didn't understand that we wanted another dish.

We've been wanting to try out Desi Tadka. This location was once a Paradise Biryani Point that permanently closed. I'll start off by saying that we'll have to come back and try other curious items Desi Tadka has to offer. We were seated in the back of the restaurant, next to a wall of aluminum party trays but thats okay. You can see that there was effort put into the cute design. Our table was semi clean, crumbs between the glass and the table. The gentleman taking care of everything up front was very nice and hospitable as our group tends to be the loudest and toughest to manage. We made a spur of the moment decision to try their buffet vs going ale carte because we had no idea that there was a buffet. They just opened it up at 7pm. For me, the highlights were the chicken pakora, keema, tandoori chicken, and sweet/tangy wings. We all ordered Irani tea, which is a very whole-milky, sweet version of chai. They had 3 distinctly flavored desserts. One was gajar ka halwa, heavy on the green cardamom. There was also a sabu dana (tapioca) type of kheer with saffron. The third appeared to be a lauki (gourd) kheer, the sweetest of the three. Again, I am very curious to try out their fried nonveg snacks because they're hard to find in other places. I'm also intrigued by many other unique entrees so we will definitely come back to try them. We kind of lost our appetite when someone came by to spray clean tables; a big "no no" while people eat. The chemical used was so strong, we could practically taste it. The cleaner should likely have been sprayed into a cloth, then wipe, vs spray it in the air. That won't stop me from coming back for more. I'm cheering for Desi Tadka because it has potential to be a winner.

I wouldn't be called an expert in Indian food, but have tried more than a couple places. By far, I was impressed with the flavors here the most so far. To start, never having seen beef samosas, I had to try one, and it was great. I loved the veggie puff as well. It was storming outside, so for some reason I was drawn to the KADAI GOSH . The description readRich Curry Made With Mutton(Goat) on the Bone, Slow-Cooked in a Thick Gravy. The flavor was amazing. The goat was 75% bones, but I've only had Jamaican goat as a comparison, and that was boney as well, so I can't single this place out.The garlic naan was the best I've ever had in my life. It complimented perfectly with the thick sauce of my mutton. My wife tried the SHAHI PANEER, described as Cashew Gravy With Chunks of Paneer, Butter and Cream With Indian Spices. We've never had that and wanted to try something new. It was fantastic, and I'll be looking for it more often. If you are looking for a no frills but big flavors, this place delivers.

Excellent Indian food! I highly recommend the Chicken Tika masala and the garlic naan bread. The butter chicken was excellent as well. Friendly staff with a relaxed atmosphere.

The tandoor chicken is very good. The Hyderabad Dum Biriyani was also Ok but it was hard to find the meat pieces in it. The Irani tea is well made with boiling milk added separately instead of pouring from a premade flask. The food is a bit on the expensive side. However, avoid the snacks. They are too oily and not very tasty.
